  1. That was fast He could have been paid to open spots before though. My follow up question is what do you want the money for anyway? (That's so important that you're willing to sacrifice months of training time for nearly all your guys. Grinding one skill isn't too bad in itself, but if they're not doing coach-training in between it's far from optimal. Once you're done with strength/cardio, which doesn't usually take 2+ months.)
  2. I admire your patience seƱor Batiatus. 2+ months in this game, bought vip and started a gym, and still 0 fights ever? Not even a little bit curious about the whole fighting part of the game in that time?
  3. Injuries and cuts are independent. Also, easily cut doesn't necessarily mean a long recovery time, the cuts he gets can still be minor. Longest time for healing an injury or cut is 16 days btw.
  4. Not necessarily. Injuries depend on the fighters' hidden injury-proneness stat. Injuries matter very little though, since you can train injured.
  5. Yup. Not an error. Your fighter broke his hand, twisted his ankle or sprained his groin or whatever, it happens.
  6. Too aggressive, too passive (too much counter), too many clinch attempts, too one sided striking etc are already options. And just like some of those what's too much would depend both on your fighter's skillset, but also on the other fighter's sliders. Eg, if the other fighter is set to very far away (too far away ) then you'll want to set your slider to "too" close to get as close as you need.
  7. Mike has said he wont make changes to part time training because it works as it is and basically isn't important enough to spend any more time on, since it's pretty much only needed at the very beginning of a fighter's career anyway.
  8. Currently. What changes could you possibly *need* to make just because midweek events now draw a bit more?
  9. On second though, as an upstanding member of this fine community I must request that you keep selling the shirt above.
  10. You really don't get that parody is fair game, do you? Well, he's not the one calling someone a douche out of left field. Grow up.
  11. I think a slider for distance is a good idea. (I've suggested it before ) It would need to be a separate slider though, you can't put 'do something else' in the middle of a slider, that's not how they work. Stay in pocket <-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-> Get on your bike

    Companys

I know I could write a good reply, but I don't feel like it.
  13. When your fighter is new you can sign him up for "quick fights", by going to the "my fighters"-page. Then he'll be matched up with the next random guy who also signs up for a quick fight. When your fighter has a couple of fights under his belt you're going to want to sign with a proper fight org. (You'll probably get contract offers from a few different orgs, if not you can message org owners and ask for a contract.) When you've done that the org owner will send you fight offers that you get to accept or decline, you can also look through the org's list of fighters and ask the owner for specific matchups if you want to be more in control (but you can't always get what you want ).
  14. He took a fighter hype shirt and turned it into a "this fighter's goin down"-shirt, you don't have to find it funny (have the same sense of humor), but you should be able to recognize it as an attempt at humor (have a sense of humor).
  15. Other fights that spring to mind when I think of dumbest moves would be Maia vs Marquardt, and Diaz vs Pellegrino.
  16. Some people who either don't get the concept of parody, lack a sense of humor and/or are borderline retarded, yeah.
  17. The precedent is already set IRL. Parody is legal pretty much everywhere, plagiarism isn't. Sometimes the boundary between parody and plagiarism isn't 100% obvious. In the case of fan-shirt -> hate-shirt to hype a fight it's pretty damn obvious. How many Puno-fans who would buy the original are gonna just buy the parody instead?
  18. You can play and enjoy this game even if you log in less than once a week. That you and I and most people think people ought to be prompt doesn't mean they have any real obligation to be. If a manager is being a pain then the org owner can wait a long time to send any new offers, or just drop him and not have to deal with his shit. But this isn't breaking any rules, it's just about communication breakdowns and different levels of expectations, commitment or maturity or whatever. Again: Not an actual techninal issue with the game, a communication issue that can be solved either by talking to the manager, being a pain in revenge, or just dropping him and moving on.
  19. Terrible idea. If a fighter doesn't respond after X days then you're free to consider it an auto-decline and just retract the offer. This is a communication problem, not a technical problem. People have the right to be lazy and not respond. You don't have to like it, but no one is obligated to play by your schedule.

    Injury Tweaking

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slippery_slope_fallacy There's a difference betwen the precision of language needed in medicine and in everyday speech, how's that a difficult concept to grasp?
  21. I think more heavyweight-sized guys go to other sports (NFL et al), hence the talent pool for MMA at HW is somewhat shallower than most other weight classes.

    weight loss sups

Sounds like you're getting cutting weight and losing weight mixed up. Weight loss supps drops your "normal" weight permanently (and they're pretty slow, maybe 0.5 pounds per day at best I think), they're not for cutting weight quickly before a fight. Cutting for a fight is automatical, and just depends on your cardio and energy level.
