  1. I would like to have one location that fighters could never move to or from, with a one fighter per manager limit at this location. Possible name suggestions: The Moon, Mars or Atlantis. Yes, this is a serious suggestion. (Also, I don't think it's a much worse idea to resurrect an old new city thread than to start a new one, even if the poll options are outdated.)
  2. Nope. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kickboxing#Styles Your explanation of the difference between MT kicks and Karate kicks isn't bad, but your definition of Kickboxing is too narrow.

  4. I think you get the fighter with the lowest ID.
  5. I want Nick Diaz back in the UFC. Doesn't help that I can find all his past fights on the internet if I want to see him fight guys like Hardy, Thiago or Koscheck etc.
  6. She's hot by normal-girl standards of course, but by entertainment industry standards I think she's subpar and too plastic looking.
  7. Que? (I suppose it could be true that he told you that I don't like him, but I don't know why that would be.)
  8. I went through all the TUF seasons on wikipedia and got 204 fights, not counting the finales.
  9. Never hurts to check out the wiki tactics page again (I still do it before many fights). The sliders are absolute. If you go 90% follow my orders that means 1 in 10 moves the fighter can do whatever he likes with no regards to your slider. If you're sure you don't want any takedowns attempts at all, then 100% follow orders and 100% stay standing is the way to go.
  10. Nope. The idea behind the hype hit is that eg when Jake Shields goes to the UFC people say "Oh, so Strikeforce is just a kind of feeder league?".
  11. Since he just beat Hendo it's not like he's completely untested against "UFC-quality" fighters. I think he'd be a real challenge to anyone but Silva or GSP, and I do think he should be thrown in with a title contender right away.
  12. As far as I can recall, WFC never contacted me again after the ICON tournament. No new contract, no messages. I figured they just didn't care since they didn't have any good matchups for Emile at the time, so I moved on.
  13. It's been max $50 for coachless gyms for a long time. You can charge more if you have coaches, and then drop them, but you might not be able to even adjust upkeep after that without setting the price to $50 or less.
  14. The only time I'll concede the usefulness of a popup is when you're about to do something very serious and irreversible, like confirming sacking a fighter. Popup for general advice? No way.
  15. Highest I've seen is Emile Hainesburg after this fight: http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=92488
  16. Is yoga useless as an alternative to circuit training, or just when compared to really good circuit training? It's worth keeping in mind that yoga, in contrast to good circuit training, is available in all gyms at all times.
  17. If you transfer players out of your team do you get to keep the points they've scored for you so far?
  18. I'm one point behind you this round, with only David Villa left to play. Says right under the score that average for the round is only 41 though.
  19. I'm not trying to be snooty, I really do think there should be a separate venting forum. And I do believe there are a lot more worthwhile threads posted than twice a week.
  20. My thoughts are Mike should open a "bragging & whining" forum, where people could vent about things like this. This has happened before, and will happen again, it sucks for you, but isn't exactly newsworthy.
  21. I've got a few candidates for this, but I think I'll hold off deciding on who to go with until I see what the opposition will be like.
  22. I wish there were another World Cup just so I could play the fantasy game again.
  23. FFD seconds is the number of seconds from the end of the fight that you want to start fighting more cautiosly, just riding it out to a decision instead of following your original gameplan - if your fighter thinks he's already winning the fight (you'll never start FFDing if he's losing the fight). 100% FFD means you'll only fight cautiously from that point, disregarding your old gameplan/sliders as much as possible, 0% FFD means you'll follow your old gameplan/sliders just like before.
