  1. I like this: increase the gains to physicals through sparring and secondary training.. That alone could alter creation builds. If this were done, it might be more worth putting points into cardio to decrease the time needed to train it if you know that all your physicals are going to increase more due to other types of training. There could be a lot of new possibilities produced from this type of change. +++1

    GnP

I wasn't going for information regarding training GnP, I was looking for information on sliders and how best to make it more successful, it is not his only offensive ability, but it is one of them... so I'm trying to figuring out how best to set sliders for successful GnP and mix it with other offensive tactics. I'm vary familiar with how to train those things.. I never use sparring to help boost a secondary skill set, always the opposite.
  3. So, I have suspected Multi, but I don't know who the moderators are; I know I've seen them post in threads before, but I'm not going to search all the threads looking for their names. Who are they and how can I contact them?
  4. So, I caught something about increasing the amount of fighters a manager can have. I like this idea, I would love to have 5 to 10 more fighters. I get bored as it is waiting for fights to happen, if I have more fighters then I might have more fights taking place, keeping me more interested. I would, however suggest allowing for 25 managers rather than 20, why? Well, lets say a VIP manager currently has a roster of 15 fighters and then a multi (basic) account with 4 fighters, he basically has 19 fighters (4 are free), financially speaking it makes no sense to to pay for 5 more slots, when you can have 4 free. However, if you allow a manager to purchase 10 more fighter slots, that would be more worth it, the only thing I see being the problem is cost, I don't think i would honestly want to spend $10 per fighter slots; when I got my 5 extra slots it was more cost effective to buy all 5 at once instead of 1 at a time. So, for each fighter slot purchased you should get a discount for each one after the first one (don't charge $100 for 10 slots, do something more like $60 for 10 of them or something). This will do a few things; it will get more fighters per active VIP manager, so it will give fight orgs more fighters to sign, it will increase the flow of fighters in strength/cardio gyms, increasing profit or demand for more. It will also increase the flow into gyms with coaches and the demand for better quality elite gyms. It will increase the spending at clothing and nutrition companies as well. Of course, there will be negatives of having more fighters, but I think the positives out weigh the negatives.
  5. From what I understand: He's looking for any manager to try their hand at designing clothes. It would appear this is a new company that he's created and is trying to get the store filled with clothes. So, he's holding a competition to create designs, the best design wins? 75K payout to that person and if they try making him a logo and he accepts it, that would be another 10K or just 10K if that's all the manager wants to create.
  6. The one keep factor you got to ask yourself doesn't come down to a competent wrestler stuffing a wonderful wrestlers take downs.... That competent wrestler very well could have started his build with 110 in takedown defense (wonderful) and then trained it up to sensational or elite and when he started his build had a useless wrestler and that's why he's competent. There is the possibility that the wonderful wrestler started at wonderful wrestling and put his 110 in takedown defense or something and only has like superb takedowns or wonderful. What you have here is a competent wrestler with sensational takedown defense vs a wonderful wrestler with superb takedowns (or wonderful if you wish). So, do the math on who's got the better advantage.... Then you have to factor in physicals; does the wonderful wrestler have wonderful speed or higher or is it strong or superb? the lower his speed the less effective his takedown attempts....THEN there is the height factor, which fighter is shorter? The shorter fighter has the advantage for takedowns and defending against them...........THEN there is the hidden hidden factor, is he a smart fighter? Smarter (experienced) fighters learn more during a fight, so if you set your sliders to follow your orders less exact they will mix it up based on their learning ability during a fight and disguise their takedowns more or in the above case learn how to defend them better. Case in point: If the opponent has sensational takedowns and sensation speed, plus his shorter, plus he's a pretty smart fighter and the manager sets his sliders properly; and your fighter has strong speed, wonderful takedown defense and is talller....well he just might land more takedowns. However, after looking at the fight, it doesn't seem as though he was successful a lot for the amount of attempts.

    GnP

So in otherwise... have a good slider set for the amount of advancing position and throwing strikes; as to keep from doing either one to much? I don't plan on him only being able to strike on the ground, just trying to get the idea of how to set sliders and what my focuses are.

    please help

Pretty brave move starting a fight club only after being in the game 2 weeks...... Hope you got a plan for that fight booked for London when you're based in Las Vegas... 6/11 isn't far from now.
  9. I'm trying to grasp the ability of a 137K fighter beating a 69K fighter
  10. Team PhoQus has had some training snafus...we are smoothing out the rough edges and look to make a major comeback next round..... I hope
  11. I'm sure most of the current fighters in there are inactive managers; once their bank accounts are gone, the members will continue to drop. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some multi abuse going on somewhere... make fighters on other accounts, set them to no training, have them join a gym and make 100% profit off of them.
  12. I once toyed with a coach who was double elite Thai/Boxing and set him to train elbows.. After some sessions with such coach I did get some gains in my boxing primary, whilst training elbows as my secondary...I also was not doing any boxing sparring or anything, just straight up elbows each day.

    Frustrated!

It really shouldn't take long to get pops until you wonderful and up. Even then they can pop relatively quick. You just have to make sure there aren't a ton of fighters in each session...more than 4 and you're screwed. I've got a fighter who's managed to pop from useless-- to Proficient++ in 16 sessions.

    GnP

SuperB .... so, one other thing I'm curious about, If I set my advance position to high, it might cause my fighter to throw fewer punches, correct? Or would he just fight for position more often, until he's in the position he set on the stick position option and then start throwing a large amount of punches.

    GnP

Alright, so GnP is the one area that I'm least experienced with come fight time. I know that wrestling and BJJ factor into the success of GnP. But, what all factors into success? I mean if I have a guy with wonderful wrestling/BJJ, exceptional GnP, flexibility and speed are remarkable, strength is sensational and agility/balance are both wonderful.... seems he should have a fair amount of success landing shots? I'd assume that accuracy sliders in standup wouldn't effect Gnp......anyone shed some more light on this?
  16. In that case: I'll check it out after Thursday, I have a fighter in Tokyo who might be interested in doing something like that for a short minute.

    "The Pocket"

The consequence of making an "unrealistically" tall fighter is if you face a wrestler/BJJ fighter... the taller fighter will struggle to defend against takedowns and once on the ground it is much easier to sub a taller opponent, as they have longer limbs, making it easier to grab a hold of and harder for the taller fighter to defend as it's harder for them to get off the ground quickly and move around on the ground. The advantage of a tall fighter is in the stand-up aspect of fighting, but once on the ground, they are at an extreme disadvantage.
  18. Man, I don't know: Honestly I think it just depends on what areas you put creation points into and have to train or how you train. I've had/have a fighter that started with Useless-- MT; at the time/moment all his training was/is punch technique and strike defense with only 4 sessions of elbows and 9 session of clinch... He went from useless-- to respectable++ without any Thai sparring sessions at all. Now, I think that if I had created a fighter with useless-- MT and put all my points into clinch, elbows, kicks and knees then it would be a lot harder to get my Thai primary up... I think any primary can be just as easy or hard as the next depending on what secondaries you put creation points into and what secondaries you train and how long you train them. Not to mention the whole learning speed thing.
  19. Well, looking at the gym now Clinch is being coaches by single elite Thai...
  20. The best part of this is the name of the thread is I'm convinced this guy is a MULTI, and then you say "Now I'm not saying this guy is a multi but it's kind of suspicious ,maybe it's just me ." LOL
  21. So, I'm sure that (or hope) this touches the hearts of many fight organization owners in the world, so I'll get right to it. To help decline the ever growing FA market... why not have the signing bonus be paid back from the manager's account; obviously there are some managers out there that might accept a contract from an org to get the signing bonus, spend that money at a store and have it transferred to another fighter. So, if a manager signs a contract for his fighter and decides to release him before the end of his contract the signing bonus would first come out of the fighters bank and back to the fight org. If the proper amount of money isn't in the fighters bank, then it comes out of the managers account. I mean, we penalize managers for opening companies and not being able to pay back their loans, why not penalize them for "steal" money from fight orgs if they are unwilling to complete their contracts? Example 1: Contract: 6K/6K/6K for 4 fights.... fighter doesn't fight a single fight, goes FA and then retires; current system would pay back the 6K to the fight org. once the fighter is in the "RET" stat. Now, that 6K either stays with the fighter or the manager who owned the fighter, so it was like free money for them. Example 2: Contract: 6K/6K/6K for 4 fights...fighter fights 1 time, losses, gets made and sends him packing to the FA list. Current system, fight org gets 1 fight out of 4 fight contract, losses out on 6K. Previous fighter owner can take the 6K signing bonus 6K base pay and transfer to another fighter; makes around 10K profit. New system. 6K signing bonus over 5 fights equals $1500 a fight. $1500 for 3 remaining fights equals $4500. So, if the fighter doesn't get picked up in FA and retires; the $4500 would be subtracted from the fighters bank and go back to the fight org. If the $4500 isn't in the fighters bank, it would be taken from the managers bank account and back to the fight org. If managers start getting penalized for sacking coaches so much, this could reduce the amount of FA fighters.
  22. My thing is this; if in real life sports you sign a contract for X amount signing bonus and for X amount of years with an X amount per year. If you retire before your actual contract is up, you actually have to pay back the % difference of the remaining contract. Similar happens to an organization that trades an athlete to another organization. If they decide to get rid of an athlete before their contract is done, they have to pay out a % of the remaining contract, even if the athlete is no longer participating or signs on with another organization. I'm not referring to an actual fight company, just sports (baseball, football, etc) in general. If I pay a fighter 10K to sign on and 5K base/5K win and he fights 2 fights 2 fights, there is a chance that I haven't actually made back the money I paid him from his 2 fights, if he retires after 2 fights it seems fair that a % from the remaining 2 fights be paid back.
  23. Yeah, probably the worst idea that could be thought up... Sorry mentor, it really is a bad idea; almost sounds like something a "multi" would suggest.... No, I'm not saying you are, just saying that's something I'd expect a multi-minded person to suggest and hope for.
  24. Yeah, sometimes having the alliance connections (as long as the alliance has a decent number of managers and active ones at that) can help get you fighters; sometimes you can get guys at little to no cost to help you out with an event or two which can help boost your hype and fill larger arenas. Sometimes, if other managers own gyms or companies in the same location as your fight org, then will sponsor your org and try to get guys to sign up from their gym with your org. Or companies will provide of the night awards to fighters in your org, just a little extra boost in the perks. Speaking of which; PhoQus Sports Enterprises are looking for active managers to join our ranks of 30 current members. Recently we've started a private chat room and alliance forum website (outside of tycoon forums). Contact me if interested
  25. I don't know, it is strange; regardless of who's helping who that a fresh manager come in, create his first 2 fighters as spar bots for a private gym like 4 months after joining the game...then another month later decide to create 8 18 yr old project fighters with the exact same builds, all sponsored by the same company and training in the same private gym. I've referred like 5 managers to this game (Sad face for not doing 3 of them with referral link and them getting VIP, sad face again) and helped them with creation builds, training and getting going; even they fought fairly early on. One that is now VIP is a successful manager and wins a lot of fights, but still started off pretty early fighting within at least a month of joining. I'm not pointing fingers saying yes it's a multi, just saying it's strange start to tycoon career.
