  1. Hi guys, Is fight location still turned off? If so, how can i avoid an auto_flight to the destination? Thanks
  2. Done! Thank you again man. Product will be in store in 3 days I owe you one, contact me if I can help with everything
  3. Hi guys, I've been requested to create a cardio supplement (it seems a bit late for me, but it's fine if it can help people). I need 10k$ dollar more to reach the usual 151 quality. I have them on my Island fighter, but I can't transfer money / buy products from my company. Anyone else with another company that is willing to help me transfer that money? Also a donation in exchange for 10k$ outside the island would be fine. Thanks
  4. Thank you all guys! Product (correctly this time) researched and order made. Here it is: Now we'll have to wait the usual 3 days. Of course contact me if I can help you somehow
  5. Thank you very much, really! With your donation we can reach 140 quality. I'll wait a couple of days to see if we reach 150q (need 29k $ more), otherwise 140q will have to be enough Of course don't hesitate to ask for help in the future
  6. Okay guys, I'm so sorry but I totally messed it up. I researched the 151Q recovery supplement, but at first I didn't add the image (I thought I could add it later, I was on a hurry). It gave me the error "you must insert an image". So I found an image, added it and researched the product..... ......and I didn't notice that when it gave me the error about the image, it resetted the combo box back to "Muscle Bulk". So now we have two different Muscle Bulk products....... I'm sorry guys, I didn't know that. I should have checked it twice, it's true, but the interface could be better. I asked to Mike if he could help with an exception, but I understand that he has better things to do and didn't have time to reply. So, I sent all money back to GBK16, it must be me that pays for this error. Of course I'm more than available to research a new Reduce Energy Loss product, but I'd understand if nobody trusts me anymore. If it can help I've 10k$ spare on a fighter, but I can't buy my own products. Here's the proof of the money I sent back (added some more for the fee):
  7. Thank you very much! With the extra money I managed to reach 151 quality. Already developed and ordered the product, just give it 3 days to reach stock. Thanks
  8. Hey guys, I've seen that the previous Nutrition company that produced Reduce Energy Loss supps has been closed. I need only 5k$ more to research a 150q reduce energy loss supp. Anyone interested helping out? Of course i'd pay you back with freebies (once developed the product) or giving back your dollars outside of the island. Thanks.
  9. Yes, you need to directly train that skill once in a while (e.g. only Boxing Sparring shouldn't be enough, you really need a Punch Technique session) I can't be that much accurate on timing here, mainly because again it depends on many things (fighter age, learning speed - fast learner forget things faster -, skill level and so on), and also because i don't have much experience on decreasing skills for "young" (30-) fighters, as i usually try to avoid it The only decent timing I can give is for a freshly created fighter that never had any fights and started with a wonderful skill and never trained it. After 2,5-3 real life months (depending on learning speed also, don't know if any possible primary sparring influences the decrease too) of no-training he will start decreasing, very slowly at first, increasingly faster if you ignore it. But with with skills and age it can vary extremely.. e.g. I never saw a Woeful skill decrease on a "young" fighter, i don't even know if it can decrease at all P.S: By the way if I recall correctly having a fight kind of "resets" or at least slows down this kind of decrease "counter". But i'd like someone else to confirm this
  10. Depends from so many things that's impossible to say correctly: trainer quality, n° of fighters training with him, learning speed, energy, morale.... It doesn't make sense to talk about weeks, because if you train 12 times on punches the answer would be 1 week or less, if you train once per week then the answer would be a couple of month. In an extremely rough indication I think that to go from 9 to 10 in a secondary skill (e.g. punches) in an average $1000 public gym with an average guy you can expect an increase from 1.2 to 1.8 points per session in Punch Technique. But just to give you a very rough estimate. Of course the higher your skill goes, the lower the increase will be. You can easily get 4-6 points when training a Useless skill
  11. I know about MMA, not sure about TGWC... don't want to risk. About the visiting tip.. thanks, but I already had in mind to move him, and paying the jet cost is not an issue. I prefer it this way So anyone knows for certain if location is disabled in tgwc too?
  12. When will the tournament start? I found a private jet for the change base not before the 12th... Will i make it in time?
  13. Totally agree, and if you start to take some submission grappling or bjj classes you can really feel how much tiring can be to simply have one person that is pushing his elbow (not to mention the whole body) on your chest or on your throat. You might not be striking, but you're really trying with all your strength to weaken the person... until you feel it, you underestimate it. And in some situation you can even be almost resting. I personally don't find it boring because I appreciate the technique behind it, but I can understand why many don't like it. But for sure it would be boring on this game, since you're reading, not watching real fighters. So I understand your point. And to the guy that said that if you strike it's easy to escape.... that's totally false. Because a pro fighter strikes either because he's desperate (so he's not the one that is control) or because he IS controlling the guy, you probably just don't recognize it. In the right position or with the correct leverage one arm or your body alone can be more than enough to totally hinder the opponent moves, don't forget that he must be careful, it just take one well placed knee or elbow to the head to oneshot someone if he totally messes up

    Agility

I'm not totally convinced by some, but overall it might work. To be safer I'd change this way, which is higher level but detailed enough for the tactics: Agility: Important for everyone, helps landing shots but especially defending from them Flexibility: important for guys that want to land high kicks and for the ground game (for sure sub d, not that sureit's important for sweeps or offense.. but still it's not safe to go the ground without it) Speed: Everyone to some extent, but mostly for grappling guys as I'd say that really helps in dictating where the fight takes place, both offensively and defensively Strength: Everyone. Striking for the damage, grappling for the control. Conditioning: Everyone Balance: Striking guys. If you're the superior BJJ fighter you can live without it, being taken down and on the bottom won't scare you. But it's still important in the ground game if you want to maintain the top position, without good balance i BELIEVE that ground and pound is not a feasible option for example

    Agility

By the way I don't agree at all that in real life you need speed to bob & weave. Maybe we are defining speed in a different way, but to dodge an incoming punch (i had several taekwondo and kickboxing fights, even if at a completely amateur level) you need good reflexes (which are totally unrelated to speed itself, you can be able to outpace someone in a sprint but perceive and react to something half a second later) and agility, dexterity and the ability to perceive where you stand in the space around you and where the punch will likely land. As you said, anyone can move is head and the required movement is so limited that the actual explosiveness of your muscles is almost irrelevant, I don't think that Usain Bolt can move his head significantly faster (at least for the purpose of dodging a punch) than me, which i'm not fast by any means. What matters is the overall ability to quickly perceive that a punch is going to hit you and the ability to move out of the way in the most economic (in a movement perspective) way possible, without wasting time or energies in unnecessary movements / activities (e.g. don't regain balance, a good and agile fighter is always ready to pop like a spring, you have a very good control of your body, you don't make an exaggerately wide movement etc..). As UniConor said, think of Anderson Silva of a good example of very agile fighter. I remember well the Silva Vs Bisping fight, where Bisping actually won, because they were totally different strikers and the difference was so huge that also an untrained eye could perceive it: Silva was more elegant, more neat, always in control of himself very well, his shots were so well coordinated that they didn't give the impression of power behind them (but trust me, they were powerful and they DID hurt). On the other hand Bisping, while much more durable (and probably strong) was tense, his movements gave the impression of strength without real control and his style was much uglier to see, like a brawler in comparison to Silva. In real life MMA there are many factors that come in to play, not last psychology and the hunger, the will to fight which are only partially covered by the hiddens, so Bisping actually won. But there's no doubt that from a "technical" standpoint Silva was by far the superior striker. I know I went OT but maybe I managed to explain the rationale behind agility and why it is / should be vital for an elite striker (IMHO and with the benefit of doubt for not having access to the source code, of course)

    Agility

Why do you think so? Do you have any kind of "evidence"? To be honest I can't prove it, based on the fact that I always considered it important for strikers I always had high levels of agility for my fighters, but the fact that they were/are successful on average doesn't scientifically prove nothing, of course. On the other hand I had successes with sub-par speed for strikers I always maximize strength, if not for the fact that it's relatively easy to raise it and i don't want to have a disadvantage on what (at least on real life mma) is for sure crucial in every aspect of the fight (striking, clinch, ground game). But i find it extremely hard to find prove, the only way is creating many identical fighters, some with full agility and some with full speed, but still you don't control the hiddens. But you'd need to create many fake fights...
  17. Honestly it's the first time I hear of something like this. Every kind of expense should first check if you have the money, preventing you to spend money you don't have. Even the gym, I don't think it never occurred to me to don't be able to afford the fee, but I'm quite sure it just kicks you out of it without spending a single dollar. My suggestion is to give a detailed report to Mike (the game and forum admin), it's most likely a bug. If it's so I'd say that he will most likely return you the money lost.
  18. I don't really think that IQ helps with defending a specific submission attempt, is more about getting in the best position or making the right choice. But once they're trying to submit you, I don't think it really makes the difference... even if it has an effect, BJJ+Defensive Grappling and secondarily submissions, flexibility and strength have a greater effect, IMHO. IQ, if it even comes into play, comes after all of these. So if you get submitted easily either you were much lower on one of these or you just set bad sliders and got in a dangerous situation. If you link the fight maybe we can find something useful (but it's difficult for us without knowing both fighthers' secondaries and sliders)
  19. I mostly agree with Bwang, about physicals i'd put 110 on agility, 10 cardio, 1 strenght and the rest in either flexibility (if you want a MT guy with nasty head kicks) or speed (for a punch oriented one). That said 160q cardio supp, bring him at least to Exceptional cardio, then 160q muscle bulk supps, bring him to at least Exceptional strength then start building the rest of the physicals with this order of priorities: 1. Agility 2. Flexibility (for a kicker) / Speed (for a boxer) 3. Speed (for a kicker) / Flexibility (for a boxer) 4. Balance Balance i'm quite sure it affect some situations, even if I never tested it, starting from the clinch to helping avoiding knockdowns (ok, you don't risk being ground and pounded, but it doesn't help your scoring). But for sure is much less important than the other 3. Even speed is not as useful as for MMA, for sure it is useful for striking, but IMHO has a much greater effect for takedowns offense/defense, for a pure striker imho agility and primaries/secondaries have a greater impact. But if you are not going to try head kicks... well, is the only one besides agility that helps, so that's why it's second for boxers. Anyway, raise both sooner or later. For balance i think that the natural evolution with circuit training (general) and wrestling sparrings will be more than enough for a KT fighter, especially if you do some Yoga to quickly raise flexibility. No need to put further attention. Speed will raise a bit while training strength, in addition to circuit training. Once the others physicals are shaped up it could be a good idea to throw a circuit training (speed) here and there. For a kicker that's the same with Yoga. Of course Exceptional should be just a starting point, once you have decent physicals (Exceptional+ in conditioning, strenght, agility and Superb+ in flexibility/speed) you are ready to start fighting. But once you see that the guy has good hiddens, Conditioning, Strength and Agility should be raised to at least Elite-- before he starts taking serious competition
  20. Just avoid putting any points / training in: Ground and pound Takedowns Takedown Defense Submissions Defensive Grappling Escapes Wrestling primary though is still very important as it helps a lot with the clinch. That said do what you would do for a standup MMA striker, without worrying being taken down N.B: To be honest I never had a KT fight in this game, but even though some specific sorts of takedowns (trips and sweeps plus some techniques from clinch) are legal in Muay Thai I don't think they are used in this game... but please correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway even if you take the opponent down you can't hit him, so it's just about scoring points which can be considered secondary even if implemented imho
  21. You basically should always use a supplement, when you don't need anything else just use the recovery loss supplement, even if you feel you don't need it (after a full week of training you manage to go back to 100% energy on Sundays), remember that the higher energy you have, the better your training effectiveness. So always use it. No, they are not equal, an higher quality gives an higher efficiency. Of course recovery loss, increase cario and muscle bulk are useless on sundays, so you can untick them if you want.. but just remember to re-tick them Monday morning (i always use them on Sundays to don't risk forgetting about that, even if i'm wasting 1 day). Weight Loss / Weight Gain supps also work on Sundays
  22. Yes to both questions. Also striking defense and some physicals receive some effects (agility for sure, don't know about the other) Also the opposite is true (Punches also trains Boxing and Muay Thai). Of course the one thing you are training (es. Boxing) will receive a much bigger improvement than everything else (so a great increase in Boxing, a low increase in punches and striking defense, an almost negligible training in agility)
  23. As stated before, I think they are influenced by the sliders, but also depends on the situation and fighter intelligence/experience. So unless you set 100% sub/advance you'll never have the counter move match exactly your slider percentage. You have to see your percentages more like guidelines, not as strict rules. Paradoxically they are much more realistic than the striking tactics, if you are the cornerman of a fighter you don't say him: "64,32% of your shots must be body punches", you just yell "work his flanks!" (actually I don't know if this expression is used in english, that's how I tried to translate it... but you get the meaning)
  24. IMHO, this is the reason. Easier to understand, you have a better perception of control and you already start on your feet
  25. Mmmm, I have no sure answer about that (never read it somewhere), but my guess is that the counter actions are affected by the "lower sliders", I think he didn't replicate it on the right branch of the tree otherwise the result would have been messy. But I also believe that since the ground game has some sort of "intelligence" behind it, it doesn't replicate exactly your sliders on a counter move, it just tries to follow them. Example: you are in full guard and your opponent makes a sloppy Triangle attempt. You have 90% subs. You could try a leg lock, but from my own (not that great, though) BJJ experience, it's much easier to pass the guard if someone does something wrong with a triangle. So I expect (random numbers just to give the idea) that with 90% subs in such situation your fighter will try to pass the guard 2/3 of the times and to do a counter submission 1/3 of the times. I'll never tire to say that this is just pure speculation, I have no evidence to prove it other than experience matured reading fights and using logic. Regarding your first issue (how to reduce the number of sub attempts)... I should have much more information to give a decent answer. On a general note I wouldn't focus on a specific moment but on the fight as a whole. You may be 90% advance position, but if you are in Mount it doesn't really make sense to improve: I know you can technically get your oppoenent's back, but if the engine replicates real life accurately... nobody would just risk to lose the mount to get your back, you usually end on someone's back if you start from a different position or if you counter an attempt to escape the mount. I think I never saw someone proactively giving up the mount to get someone's back. So basically once you progressively reach better positions (side control, mount and finally back) you'll focus more on subbing/striking since it makes much more sense. That's why in the wiki Mike states that there's common sense in the ground game. Also never forget that random is, of course, unpredictable and in the short term strange and seemingly senseless things could happen... so you could see 4 sub attempts from the full guard and then no attempts whatsoever for several minutes in a better position. So in the end you may end up with 10% of your actions as sub attempts, but distributed very badly. On such a rare situation (never occurred to me, honestly I think is technically possible but reasonably negligible) it wouldn't mean your sliders were wrong, but just you were terribly unlucky
