    Contract Buyout

I'm not saying I would do that, but you have to put yourself into the shoes of an asshole to think of possible loopholes. Basically that is what this whole conversation revolves around, how to set the contracts up to defeat the assholes. Just don't want anyone to lose sight, there are assholes on both sides of the ledger, org owners and fighters.

    Contract Buyout

Warwynd- Loophole to your idea. I accept contract to fight in your org for 5 fights, 20k/7k/7k, with an expiration date 7 months in the future. I am not happy with first fight you offer me and reject it, you don't like my reason for rejecting, and we immediately grow 'sour' on the deal. Instead of asking for a release and paying back my bonus, plus whatever else you decide to demand, I decide to just use the bonus you already paid me to continue training my fighter in his elite gym, and reject every single fight you offer me, in hopes that I piss you off enough that YOU decide to fire me, and then pay me the additional 35k you owe me for never fighting. The majority of org owners are here to have a thriving org and work with managers. Why make things so much harder and tip scales so much in the fighters corner that owning an org is a multitude harder than it already is?
  3. This is an MMA sim game, why the hell can't people just be happy and play it?

    Leave contract Clause

A contract is a contract. Org owners take plenty of risk and by no means have ALL the power in the org-fighter relationship. A fighter can reject any fights they want, go inactive, cause no contests and org owners get nothing in return for these things. If you made opting out of a contract 'optional' no one in their right mind would accept any contract without one, it would end up a standard demand 95% of the time. I've had fighters in bad orgs before, you just suck it up and get through it, and don't resign with that org. So while I admit, there are some dick org owners out there, there are also many more dick managers who make the playing experience tougher on org owners.
  5. blixxx, when are you midgets going to be on tv wrestling again?
  6. Give each fighter a box where he can set how often he hopes to fight. Some guys will fight every week if you can let them, some would prefer 4-5 weeks off between, with over 200 fighters in my org, it is very cumbersome to keep track of right now. If they had a drop down box with X number of choices (weekly, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks, 5+ weeks) etc. And put this on our Fighter List + page.
  7. Someone brought up a solid idea. Currently, I believe when someone is caught with multi's, they get them all banned, correct? Well I think maybe in the future, leave the main account (if there is an obvious one), and put some giant red text somewhere on the profile that says "Cheating Bastard", so we all know. This way here, if he still wants to play and pay Mike money, we don't lose a manager, but he will carry shame with him.
  8. I'm with AJ here. I could pay VIP for a couple more accounts and could pay attention enough to run countless basic accounts. Either multi's are against the rules and are aggressively policed, or they are openly allowed so we all can have them.

    First Event

found it. 700 seat arena, premium tickets, probably around $12k advertising, $2500 prod value, 250-300 free tickets.

    High or Low Game

I don't really play it anymore, but when I was a newer manager and money was a bit tougher to come by, playing hi/low worked out very well for me. Just like preparing for a fight, you need to go at it with a strategy, don't just sit there and keep playing if you run across a bad string of luck (having a 40's number showing and a higher number being pulled). Play the percentages and don't take many high risks. For me, it really wasn't about making a huge run and getting a huge score, I cashed out small and would make 4-5k daily.
  12. I prefer option 2, think rankings should be separate.
  13. I'd advise anyone to look deeply into this situation before just giving any cash.

    Money, Money, Money

Fighting earns money, whenever you sign a contract with a bonus attached to it, you get 10% of that bonus. When your fighter fights, you get 10% of the money your fighter makes. Very easy process. Looking at your manager, I would say you have jumped way too far into the game too fast. Becoming VIP is a good thing, but sinking any money into any company, especially a supplement company before getting a good grip on the game first is not a good use of your money, your likely not going to make any money off that company.
  15. One thing you mentioned, that I feel could maybe be of great use to us Org owners.
  16. Great point. It would obviously be much easier to create and train a fighter strictly for K1, I could see there being a larger group of managers making all their guys K1 than you expect Mr. Tycoon.
  17. Unless I am missing something, everyone seems to be confusing 'hype' with 'popularity'. Yes, a good fighter from K1 will bring his fan following from K1 to MMA this is what we call 'popularity', but his ranking is where the 'hype' comes into play. The #1 hyped K1 fighter should not suddenly signed to fight MMA and become a top 10 'hyped' MMA fighter. Sure, he could have the most popularity in the game, but the hype needs to be different from K1 to MMA (and vice versa).

    Very unfair QFC

Yeah, just shitty luck. QFC already has 2 levels, the first is for newer fighters who haven't trained much. Your guy had been in a gym over 6 months...so you got lumped into level 2.
  19. Until you get your ranking higher, or unless Mike changes the rules, just kind of tough.

    Creating Fighters

This is a game that tests your ability to create, train and fight. If you are given the ability to just make an elite wrestler, where is the sense in that? You have the same chance to make an elite wrestler as anyone else.
  21. it is almost thanksgiving, how about a turkey shirt?>
  22. I like this idea as a manager. I do not like this idea as an org owner. Some managers out there now are very particular on who they will fight, and will reject a fight if they are not better than the selected opponent in 3 of the 4 primaries. If the fighters want their pay to automatically increase with wins, they will become even more selective. If we want this to happen, then I think there should also be a clause in the contract that LOWERS the pay by a percentage for a fight decline.
  23. I don't think clinch should be included. Been a long time since I watched a boxing match, but when the fighters clinch, the ref breaks it right? I mean, there is no clinchwork to speak of. A guy might get a quick kidney shot in befor ethe ref breaks it, but it isn't like the ref lets them ride each other around the ring in a clinch. If you want to let guys clinch, I think you have to make the sliders the least aggressive so it gets broken quickly.
