  1. When you sign a contract, you sign to the Org, not the manager of the org.
  2. I'm looking for someone who is capable of doing some logo work that has nothing to do with MMATycoon. I'm willing to pay in game $, or even real $ to the right person for quality, satisfactory work. Inbox me in game for info. Also let me know where I may be able to see some of the work you have already done. Brocc Ogan 26831
  3. I need some logo/banner work done for a non mma tycoon club. Willing to negotiate tycoon cash or even real cash for GREAT, QUALITY work. If you have experience in graphc design shoot me a message and we can talk.
  4. If I am following everything correctly, I think the quick fix, or patch, is a terrible idea. The entire reason this discussion is going on is because no one liked the tickers, and Mike nerf'd them to keep even more people from leaving the game. Now the quick fix is to make it tougher to maintain them? THEN at some point in the future, we are going to get another change to a new system? Why give the game 2 changes to potentially lose players over? A change isn't a bad idea, but what is the imminent rush all of a sudden to make a change NOW? How about developing whatever the new system is going to be and then make that change? Getting as few people to quit as possible should be the ultimate goal here, but if we have to go thru some time here where maintaining tickers is tougher, you KNOW guys are going to be bullshit watching their fighters lose skill. So they deteriorate slowly until the new change is put in, then they will lose some more skill in a big chunk all at once to take them under the level that gets picked. I think it would be better and overall less painful to do it in one big swoop, let guys bitch and moan, some might quit, but at least its all done.
  5. Holy shit, a lot to read here. I read the first 4 or so pages yesterday and now there are 20. I'm not going to pretend that I've read it all. I will, but just wanted to get my idea out there. I never had a problem with tickers, and after getting used to them, I don't think I've had a negative pop in months. I think it is obvious that tickers drove managers out of the game, which is very unfortunate. I think it is important to realize, if a new change is made, we will lose managers again. I don't think this is a reason to NOT make changes, but it should be considered, and the goal should be to lose as few managers as possible. That all being said, I like the idea of a skill cap, but I think it should be a soft cap, and the actual cap of each fighter is determined by a new hidden. For instance, say the soft cap is 75%. The hidden can put your fighter anywhere between 70% and 80%. Is this a large range? Sure is...pretty realistic though right? I mean, some people just can't learn as well as others no matter how good their teachers are. To think that every fighter can achieve the same level (or anywhere close to the same level, frankly)of skill development is naive. Won't mean they suck and are useless, and other hiddens will help their in cage game. I know this might not be popular with managers who are front runners, because no one will figure out this hidden until it is too late to just scrap the guy, and there are certain managers here who can only operate with the higher skilled fighters. I think this kind of idea would help some of the non top tier orgs. If a manager finds out he has a guy who rolled a 71% skill cap, but has some other good hiddens, he doesn't need to scrap him, maybe he can compete in the middle tier orgs. How to adjust the fighters already over this cap, or incorporate aptitudes....beyond what I've thought of so far. Also, I did read someone make an interesting point. Without tickers, once I find out my fighter's "skill cap" and I reach the cap, and am happy with his build, why would I keep in a gym?
  6. As an outsider observing, I'd think it would be better (or at least cooler) if all fighters trained in the same gym just like TUF. I mean, if your not using TUF rules to make matches, or TUF rules to train, then this really isn't anything like a TUF tournament.
  7. Yeah, wow, all my guys have gotten free $ apparently multiple times since Oct 28.
  8. Black Hand Fight Gear needs a new og to partner with as of October 8th. Ranked 6th currently, hoping for a top 25 org. Contact me to discuss.
  9. Black Hand Fight Club in Sydney may be on the block! I have been running the org for nearly 2 and a half years, and I am burnt out right now. I am prepared to work out a deal to sell the org by/on October 1st. There will be 4 events still booked which cost $485k to book. So honestly, that is where the price tag would have to start. I will say right up front, that I will not just hand the org over to someone. You will have a top 10 org by Oct. 1st with 4 shows already booked and a very good roster, you should be able to make $200k+ in each of the 4 events very easily, and any events you book after. I don't care about getting rich, but looking for a certain level of financial backing means you are invested to continue running the org in a fair fashion for the fighters under contract. If I can't get a good price, I will simply run the 4 events myself then close the doors. Anyways, PM me with any discussion or offers.

  14. Black Hand Fight Club in Sydney is looking for a top Heavyweight to come to Sydney and fight Shogun Silva (#57 HW, #278 p4p) on July 7th. http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=58876 Great compensation will be negotiated, PM me if interested
  15. You just need to wait until your fighter inactivity is reached so you can leave. If the owner goes inactive, but has events booked, there is no release for anyone. If there are no events booked, I believe its 30 days owner inactive but I could be wrong.
  16. we can no longer release fighters that already have a fight scheduled.
  17. In an effort to further reward fighters and managers who demonstrate great ability to perform on the highest stage, I am implementing a new reward program. In conjunction with our sponsor, Hell's Balls Recovery (160), I introduce the Hell's Balls Grant for Excellence award. The Grant for Excellence award will be given monthly, in the following fashion. Every fighter, win or lose, involved in a fight that garners a 100% fight rating will be entered in a drawing. I will use the list randomizer function on random.org to generate a random list, and the fighter who comes up at the top of the list will be the winner. What does that fighter win? Well, he earns a $25,000 cash award, deposited directly into his MANAGER'S account. (OK, ends up about a $24,154 prize after manager transfer fees).
  18. Want to climb the ladder and become a Black Hand Fight Club Champion? We now have rankings for all to see who stands in the way in the climb to a title fight. I made these rankings based on current record, hype/pop rating and record within the org. A fighter who is newly signed to the org will not be in his weight classes top 10 until he fights and wins at BHFC, no matter what his standing from other orgs! Such fighters may well move up the ladder fairly quickly with one or two wins based on their hype/pop and overall record, but they need to earn it here like everyone else. Some divisions are a lot deeper than others, and we have added many fighters in the recent weeks. So if your not in the Top 10, fight and win! As of 5/29/2012 145 pounds (featherweight) Champion - Bucky The Badger 12-0, 4-0 in BHFC #1 Gordon Ramsey 16-7, 5-4 2> Kelsey Curtis 9-4, 7-4 3> Ryan Felizberto 12-6, 6-2 4> John The Butcher 13-8, 2-1 5> Rafael Zanico 7-1, 3-1 6> Nycky Downtime 14-12, 13-12 7> Alpha Dog 7-5, 4-5 8> Marty Laguna 16-7, 6-5 9> Skylar Davies Miles 6-2, 1-1 155 pounds (Lightweight) Champion - Kassidy Cullen 11-2, 11-2 #1 Ricky Moses 21-11, 3-1 2> Great Dane 12-6, 4-1 3> Jason Griffin 9-4, 3-2 4> Dom Danky 5-2, 5-2 5> JJ Walker 6-3, 5-2 6> Blaque Kreed 8-7, 8-6 7> Swe Dish 4-4, 3-4 8> Bill Zebub 10-3, 1-1 9> Iqbal Al Mamood 14-11-1, 0-3 170 pounds (Welterweight) Champion - Pauli Painija 20-6, 6-2 #1 Uncomfortably Numb 13-4, 13-4 2> Obidiah Klinefelter 12-4, 11-4 3> Michael Shanks 11-3, 6-2 4> Mike Hunt 13-7, 6-4 5> Dravik Stone 8-2, 6-2 6> Ray Ray Jones 7-2, 3-1 7> Daniel Roth 10-3, 5-1 8> Keiko Lynn 6-4, 3-3 9> Monzer Al Kassar 5-1, 5-1 185 pounds (Middleweight) Champion - Billy The Kid 11-0, 11-0 #1 Carlos Penagos 17-6, 17-6 2> Tony Lamotta 12-3, 6-3 3> Ivan Borisov 17-7, 4-1 4> Manny Quioxte 10-4, 7-3 5> Slavalengus Olegtrandervangorsuckabingdamer 11-7, 5-3 6> Tyler Fun 17-11, 8-4 7> Legionarivs Sakara 6-2, 1-0 8> Andy Skeet 8-3, 3-1 9> Oleg Nutradinov 5-2, 1-2 205 pound (Light Heavyweight) Champion - Ishmael Boorg 16-6, 15-6 #1 David Nuclear 14-3, 8-2 2> Zachery Rey 16-6, 16-6 3> Flex Dynomite 14-4-1, 3-2 4> Roberto Umberto 13-8, 3-2 5> Randy Savage 18-9, 3-3 6> Joe Wrassle 8-5, 2-2 7> Leonard Washington 9-7, 1-1 8> Huma Krynn 8-4, 1-1 9> Michael Crino 16-5, 2-1 265 pound (Heavyweight) Champion - Charles Gunn 13-3, 8-2 #1 Erik Ragnaar 10-3, 6-2 2> Njord Freyr 11-3, 7-1 3> Lan Mandragoran 10-6, 2-2 4> Judas Lucifer 9-4, 9-4 5> Bip Bop 13-7, 5-3 6> James Augello 17-6, 17-5 7> Mikey Schkelpt 11-5, 6-2 8> Saint Bernard 10-5, 6-2 9> Nathan Cadge 6-1, 3-0 Habitual inactivity and not responding to fight offers in a timely manner will cause fighters to slide down rankings.
  19. After 2 years, figure it is about time we have an offical org thread for smack talk and general discussion within the org.
