  1. It's fighters at the highest level of skill where you want to see how these changes take affect.. 1. Slightly reduce the energy loss from shoot takedowns (increase on a scale after that, with a reset after each round) 2. Slight increase the effectiness of counter takedowns (been nerfed too much) 3. Decrease the amount of ref stand ups 4. Slightly increase GnP landing rate 5. Massively increase the effectiness of escapes (however you don't need escapes to defend them, meaning grapplers don't need yet another skill to compete) 6. Make entering and exiting clinch much easier (they are worse than takedowns) 7. Don't touch the accuracy of elbows or knees (they land at a fine rate now) 8. Do not do anything at all with skill caps or add even higher levels of skills 9. Slightly increase the advantage between elite and sensational and sensational and exceptional *Edit - JLP is right the CTD era has been the most fun as it really opened up the range of slider settings you could use
  2. Escapes I thought was the only one.. And that was meant so grapplers didn't have to train yet another skill to be successful.. The one fighter I have that uses knees and elbows lands them at what I consider quite good levels - 56% elbows, 42% knee head and 48% knee body.. That's on a fighter that's had in excess of 70 fights..
  3. Can the AI be dumbed down a bit on the ground and more closely follow the sliders.. It seems much of the controlling shit, to have the stand up is to do with recovering energy.. Grappler on top recovering energy whilst striker on bottom controlling cause he knows it will force a stand up. If I'm set to 70% finish then I should be attempting to advance, strike and sub close enough to 7 out of 10 moves, which certainly isn't the case at the present if I'm down on energy... Then attempting those moves also means it gives the striker a better chance of reserving/escaping/standing up?
  4. He's 39 and one of my first creations in the game. 48-23-3 (13 via KO, 0 via Sub, 35 via decision) - been KOed twice in his career and Subbed 3 times. Highest Rank was p4p 9 and No. 2 in his division. Titles won - The Big Bang (3), Blitz (1), Empire (1), CFC (3), Ascension (1) Hall of fame (Empire) Equal highest decision wins with Lomax and De Groot in the game on 35. Still going strong now at Ascension - hasn't been hit with decline yet, so plenty more life in him. But I still struggle to rate him highly, has fought against most of the top guys all the way back to 2011, but at the same time hasn't fought consistently against the top guys from each era or all of the top guys. A journeyman that's strung it together a few times before getting put back in his place?
  5. Glory's chin was dismantled as soon as the counter era was ended.
  6. Maybe there is an easier solution.. Take the AI out of the ground game, if fighters are set do do something then they should do it.. fighters default to more controlling tactics when they hit the ground to regain the energy lost before they got there.. The striker who has just been taken down is certainly going to control - next thing you know 2 fighters are controlling for different reasons and you get the stand up. However if my fighter is set to 55 aggression and 70% finish - regardless of the energy he has when he hit the ground controlling should be the least used ground move. He should be advancing and striking.. Energy loss could be based soley off aggression and not finish on the ground and that way to keeping energy levels closer on the ground - your ground fighter up against the typical 90/90 counter/control wouldn't have to be as aggressive (just have a higher lvl of finish), therefore not using as much energy but also being able to keep the fight down and start to take some energy from his opponent
  7. http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=728503 Abbott is sen++ clinch work, Triple Elite - his opponent had wonderful MT and Elite wrestling.. In 2 fights Abbott who won them both went 4 and 26 in clinch attempts the last fight it was 0-15 in a 5 round fight.. Certainly not going to work for a grappler who probably isn't going to have as high clinch and will more than likely be at a disadvantage in MT to try and clinch to get the takedown
  8. Getting into the clinch is harder than a takedown I feel.. Added to that if you are a grappler then you may actually scrimp a little on clinch to boost the stats you need for the ground game.. Meaning you may get into the clinch but that's exactly where your opponent wants you.. You get clinch raped and lose the energy you need for the takedown... Not to mention clinch takedowns actually land at a much lower % than shoot takedowns do... During the CTD period, getting the clinch was a great way to nullify your opponent.. I'm not even sure if takedowns score you enough points anymore - well not judging from my last 2 losses..
  9. Great win - actually massive win..
  10. My jet has just dropped from Brand new to Excellent, although the seats and features are all still brand new.. I can't for the life of me find where I can pay to fix the jet back up to brand new
  11. Thanks for the easy money mate
  12. Never write off a true champion... Great win Blunts and Styles.. Now who's the fucker that owes me 100k?
  13. Loompas injury hidden is fine, he hasn't started really degrading at all.. To be fair Im at an absolute loss as to why he has fallen by the wayside so quickly.. I think it's a combination of not having any absolutely outstanding hiddens, he's probably too rounded, no elite secondaries and possibly the changes to the sim.. He was always built too short.. (I built him after Mike nerfed the height advantage quite sometime ago) I hope I can add some respectability back to his record before retirement - he may even drop back to a more mid tier org for a bit
  14. Well that says a lot for Koski - you made Bishop look like a bitch
  15. That wasn't even close... Too good again Marky..
  16. More than happy to go toe to toe... If Bishop wants to get cute he will sub you.. Salt in the wound kinda stuff
  17. Bwahahahaa... Oh Marky... This isn't Partio vs Loompa... I've seen first hand what McKay did to that chin of Koski... Bishop's going to add a 3rd KO to your record.. So that avatar will be coming my way.
  18. I'm down for bouncing my ball bag of some convicted chins..
  19. Awesome write up!!! I've got more than 1 score to settle with Marky.... Bishop is on a mission... He won't be stopped, but Koski will be.
  20. Why do that it's much more fun to come to the forums and whinge and bitch about it...
  21. Haha... I love Erik posts... Don't ever change..
