  1. Same problem here in (gmid=496), I hired two new coaches to train the new skills but fighters cannot select those coaches to train with them because they are not in the list.
  2. I think you nailed it joe, don't need to worry about how fast you can train your physicals back up because the overall cap will be in place. So those elite physicals that you took from might not be able to hit elite anymore without sacrificing some other important skill.
  3. I like this idea, the term elite would cover up to 170 and only the manager would be able to see exactly how many ++++'s your fighter has. A good question, like once you have those fighters where you are happy with them skill-wise will you not even be able to spar without the fear of dropping some other skill?
  4. I am fine with the proposed solution, however, I believe there would be less rage-quits if you increase the max skill levels to 170 from 150 and still implement the 78-82% total skill limit. Taking things away, regardless of how fairly it is implemented, will make people internet angry.
  5. as soon as i hired him the morale bar was empty, and the training that took place last defenitely confirms he was at 0 morale, the fighters gained next to nothing from useless--. Must have been just before you reset him.
  6. I manage gym id 496 and this is regarding coach "Adolph Bonner" Hired him as my 13th coach and his morale bar is still empty after a few days, but it says he his happy with his wage. I tried increasing his wage and it did not change his morale. I know there was an email about new coaches and morale, and since then the two coaches I hired have been fine, so I assume that problem has been fixed. I just want to be sure that the coach is giving full quality training, hoping it is just a graphical error.

The announcers have made fun of his flabby gut in his first round performances, and as his manager I would say that he will be in better shape for the second round. However, since there was earlier mention of a couple of the other fighters going in on an RV and touring the wafflehouses of the country, Frost just might enter the second round a little rounder than he was before.
  8. had 3 flights from ny-vegas and had a bad gaming session on 2 of them
  9. As for your next milestone, it can happen for you, if you keep fighting a lot and get familiar with your fighters, you will easily be in the top 500 in no time. I was very close to making the top 10 managers last week. I was ranked 11th through some fluke of lucky wins against tough opponents and some favorable matchups for my fighters for the whole month of april. I think i was 18-1 for april. Anyway, my next fight didn't go in my favor and I am sure I'll never be that close to getting into the top 10 again, but i'll be damned if that wasn't exciting! Looking at some of the other top 100 managers I have no idea what I am doing in the top 100.
  10. That contradicts what I and a few others have noticed. I wonder if it's that fighting an injured opponent won't further injure your fighter, but fighting a fresh opponent can make your current injury worse. pure speculation
  11. I had never heard of this either! I agree with this. When a new manager starts, they should be able to have a fight right away. It can be a dummy fight against a randomly generated opponent, but at least it would be something that shows a result right away because I think a lot of new managers might get turned off when they are trying out the game for the first time and do not get to fight. It might not be possible with the fight engine, but I think it is a good idea.
  12. Nolan Frost decided that in the spirit of award, he would pull off his opponent's arm in the first round! Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Nolan Frost! Was that fast enough to win the prize?
  13. Nolan "Skada" Frost steps out of his black Dodge Ram with a smile on his face "It has come to my attention that this little englishman can't help but run his mouth about... well who the fuck can understand what that little yellow haired chav is rambling on about anyway. All I know is on the 12th he is going to have to work harder than he has ever worked in his life, and just when he is about to give up, I'll break something of his, and he can go limping back home with his first loss, courtesey of Detroit"
  14. My fighter that will be entering this tournament is Nolan Frost He won his test fight even though I had forgot to set any sliders, so I believe in his confidence. He could still have a terrible chin and horrible injuries and be as dumb as he looks, but gosh golly I like this guy. I'll tell you all more about him later.
  15. any spots left? the list says 63, dont know if thats up to date, i'd join this if theres a spot open, otherwise i can fill a spot if someone wusses out
  16. As a second generation American Latvian, I wanted to defend you. Then I read all of the threads linked here and it appears you have placed yourself into this mess. Your internet existance would be much better if you just knew when to stop and move on. Stop giving Latvians a bad name. Labdien, Sir.
  17. the amount of CT you will need will also depend on the aptitude you chose for your fighters, some fighters only need one CT a week, some fighters need 4 or more.
  18. Exactly. Yes, there are more things to consider when you are setting up your training but it has also been sped up with the new drop down menus. I have set all of my fighters training to now be much more diversified, and although I check on it every day I only have to adjust things once every few days, for like 10 minutes of work. I just do not understand how so many people can be so devistated by the changes unless you had a quad sensational with 87% of your physicals and 80% of your secondaries already. (in which case you should have a lot more work now)
  19. Big Heart and Self Confidence seem to be valuable hidden attributes when you come across an evenly matched fight, and when you are an underdog they could help you pull off the upset. I have a fighter with no self confidence and it really is fustrating to have him sit there and not capitalise on any advantage he has in the fight. My next fighter will have both of these selected at creation, i am just not sure which to pick for the third hidden.
  20. It has been a long road but we are at the final, Winchester vs Naar
  21. Thanks, that is what it sounded like from the beginning but then everybody else made it sound more complicated. I just set all of mine with the top 3 sliders in the middle and one primary all the way to the left. easy
  22. This sounds like a good way to test my fighter's chin "Sheriff" Rosco P Coltrane [ 111809 ]

  24. Am I the only one here who doesn't know how to get the decimal value for a skill? or is it -- = .0, - = .25, + = .5, ++ = .75?
