  1. Looking for a nutrition partner! http://www.mmatycoon.com/gympublic.php?gmid=2737
  2. I liked a couple ideas and I really liked the solution (all of it). The idea of a hidden that plays a hole in your max skill % sounds nice, like from 78-82%.
  3. Looking for someone to buy me fighter slots, message me if interested.
  4. Looking to buy 1 year of VIP for 550k, pm me (if you want more just let me know your price)
  5. Still looking for VIP and/or fighter slots. Just tell your price
  6. When will the tournament start? I think I might have one fighter to give it a try
  7. Looking forward to buy up to 5 fighter slots, just message me with your price.
  8. I went there, nice weigh in... I just didn't like the boos Franklin received, he is a nice guy...
  9. He really is... Thanks Dinooo
  10. The point is not the fight only. He offered me a fight against a fighter ranked as 10k p4p and I declined. I had nothing to win with the fight, but yet I could've accepted it if the org owner asked me nicely. However, did you see the two messages he sent me? The point of the topic is not only discussing whenever to accept fights or not, but also to warn everyone against that org. Just check the messages the guy sent me and you will see what I mean.
  11. I agree with you, almost 100%. However, there is something I have to add to the topic as well. I've been training BJJ for 2 years, and I'm a blue belt, I've seen a lot of tournaments and joined quite a few. There are black belts and black belts, if you know what I mean. I've seen black belts losing for blue ones, not for a lucky attempt that got him unprepared (as happened to me lol), but really for being better than them. Unfortunately some guys gain the belt without deserving it, without being prepared for it. Yet these guys aren't complete useless, even the worse ones can't be defeated by a raw blue couple times in a row (by raw I mean someone who just got a blue belt). Even a bad black belt has some skills, but usually a guy who is terrible at submissions will also be terrible at defensive grappling. When you train to defend yourself, you learn the submissions together. You might not be good at them, but you will know how to utilize them. Comparing to MMATycoon, I'd say that someone with sensational defensive grappling would have at least superb submission offense (enough to submit several blue belts and maybe some purple ones). If a black belt is a complete useless at submission, he won't be good in defensive grappling as well. Btw, we have to be careful to compare BJJ with No Gi. It's really, really different and not all BJJ fighters find the transition easy. In No Gi, all the belts become closer and the gap between levels becomes smaller. If you add the possibility of being punched while trying to work your ground game, it affects the confidence of a black belt to fight MMA going for submissions, even if he is good at it. Look at Toquinho, he lost a fight in the ground being much better at BJJ than his opponent.
  12. Well, before hype basicly helped to make your company stay in top of the highstreet list. Now it helps a lot in merchandise sales (it's really a good difference of income when your hype gets higher).
  13. I don't mind with the title, honestly I'm not even bothered about losing it. The point wasn't losing the title, I just hoped to have fair fights, right now I just want to get my fighter out of the org. Stu, I don't know what Prima Donna means, but I have a felling about what it problably does. The thing is, I didn't come here to have it sorted out, just to show how a guy was acting for having an org. Acting like he could do whatever he wanted to anyone. I hate to be disrespected, I don't do it to anyone so why would I have to accept it? I had thousands of bad days and it may have affected the way I acted in certain ocasions, but this doesn't seem like a bad day to me. Even if it was, we can't do whatever comes to our mind just because we're on bad days. Honestly, I have no respect with people who has this type of attitude. And now answer me, knowing what I told you, would you join this org with a fighter of yours? Knowing the owner will think you have to do what ever he wants and he will let your fighter waiting until the end of the year if you don't do it?
  14. He stripped my fighter already, and it appears he will make my fighter be hold to the org until december. I wasn't afraid, I just thought it was unfair and got pissed by his message
  15. I understand your point, however I don't agree with it. I'm not saying champions have to fight only the top contenders, sometimes it is not possible, but if he got there he deserved it, the minimum I expect is a bit of respect with him to send decent offers. It's like saying Aldo had to fight Vina if Dana said so, who is a guy eliminated from the TUF here in Brazil. He might fight, but I think it's a disrespect with the champion.
  16. I try to accept every single fight offer I receive, even if I think it's a unfair one due to ID/skills (If I really don't agree with it, I send a message but accept it anyway). Now, someone who talks that way, and later threaten me about leaving my fighter in the org until december is a good guy? He already stripped my champ and offered a fight against a fighter who is even less hyped. I accepted it so I can leave this org asap. http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/6422/cropper2.png
  17. I know Marus, he is a great guy (actually we are alliance mates) and it wouldn't bother me if he accept it, but his fighter is not even close to be one of the top hyped in the weight class, it's not only unfair with my champ it's also unfair to all other fighters in front of him who would wish to have a shot. I understand your point, but I don't consider that we have to choose fights looking at managers. And look how rude he was, if he was at least polite and tried to explain me why should I accept it, I'd problably take it in consideration.
  18. That was actualy my fault, the fight I declined is another one, I corrected my mistake (sorry about that).
  19. PS.: the fight I declined was: http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=25616 vs http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=72417
  20. Btw, this is the first time I decline a fight on his org, and whoever has any of my fighters signed knows I don't usually decline fights, I must accept like 29 in each 30 offers. http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/6757/cropper.png So, how about this? Ain't he a nice guy?
  21. I was being ironic =s I released him a day after I received the message, he wasn't that bad but it kind affected my thoughts about him lol
  22. He bought mine as well, didn't take a minute to donate after I sent the money. Thanks
  23. I only received the message once, my smart fighter got 75 on his IQ test lol...
