  4. Sorry, tried to edit the previous post but miss clicked =/
  5. In my hometown you can buy it with R$2.50 lol (that's something around $1.35). Of course, disregarding small cities and less valued currency, I agree with you, there isn't a place, specially an event (in which stuff tends to be more expensive) where you get some food and drink for $2.50. However, not everyone does eat / drink something right? That means $2.5 might be a good average spent/person. Well, what about part of the production be directed to "snack bars" (sorry, don't know the right word), where you choose level of avaiable food / drink? The better the quality, the better the return (however high quality products wouldn't be really welcome on budged priced events - just as low quality products wouldn't be bought so often in premium priced events). You may also set what profit percent you expect from these products, so if you are looking for money you set a high profit percent (that will make spectadors a bit angry - it means worse rating and less sells of products, but still more profit than low profit percent). Example for the second idea: Let's says you buy a Coke for $2. If you are looking for some more cash, you would set a 50% profit margin, which means in your event you would charge $3 for each coke sold ($1 profit). Now, second case, let's say you are looking for hype increase and better event rating, so you just set a 10% profit margin - that way you would only gain $0.2 per product sold. So, in the first case you might sell like only half you would in the second, but you still get more money out of it. In the second case, you gain less money, but it counts in your event rating... Of course, just general ideas coming to my might and just a quick example (not saying you might do it with cokes, just take it as a general product "x")
  6. Feyd, the brackets are set in the order you sent?
  7. Oh, just saw you're Jeff Warbringer lol. I don't think your site caused the confusion, it was more the wrong concept I had about it (I read about it once, but it seems I miss understood it) haha. (btw, thank you for the huge help you've always gave me through tycoon tools)
  8. Oh, so the week prior "analyse" a 7 days period to check how many events there is in the week? I thought it just counted like from sunday to saturday - checking how many events you have in that specific week. Thank you for that, now that you cleared it up to me how exacly is counted the events my question seems pretty dumb lol.
  9. I took care to book only 2 events each week, however when I check the event 711823 in Event Helper it says I have 3 events on the same week (event in week prior = 2). My org's link: UFF You can check I had an event on september 24th and another one on september 25th (last saturday and sunday), and this event I've send the ID will happen in september 30th (next friday). So, am I missing something about the events in week prior or it's just a bug of Tycoon Tools and I should consider it as 1375 (90%) instead of the gaven result? Thx
  10. When is the fight? 3-4 sessions with weight loss supps and your fighter will be able to make less than 170.9lbs, maybe it's better for you to use the supp instead of starting the fight with less energy...
  11. Hello everyone, I'm doing some last events in my org, just to gain some more money and close it. I'm looking for 2 170lbs fighters (one needs to be at least a bit good hyped and popular - the another can be average or better). Both fighters that needs opponents are great skilled, however if you want to try your luck with a less skilled one you're welcome. New York Strangler: champion, if your guy is hyped enough you can ask to try the title shot, it will be more like a souvenir (as the org is reaching it's end). Michael Kenyon If you want a specific day just tell me, you can choose between september 30th and octuber 23rd. Send me a pm in game or post here, if you can just tell me your price it's good, I'm willing to pay well for good fighters. Thanks everyone

    Gambling

The gambling options can be found in highstreet page. There you can find (for each location) which bookies have active betting options, and also you can find the Tycoon Lottery and Bet High Low. Other options are gambling outside the official site, usually in the forum like the one CBD posted or one like this one. I hope it helps PS.: be careful if you play the Bet High Low, it's easy to geet addicted in it and lose all your money lol.
  13. From what I understood, make already bumped us 1 week forward, so we need to choose teams like if we were in next week. Look what appears on select team page: Week 19-Sep-2011 (Monday) to 25-Sep-2011 (Sunday)
  14. I selected my team (only fighters / managers fighting from 19-25)

    Mastering the Clinch.

I usually set up it just like this when I want to fight in the clinch. I usually go like 85% or 90% in striking, in order to give the fighter some rest when he needs it and in case of a won fight, spend time to gain by decision. I also like to set the fighter a bit aggresive, maybe 60% or 70% to aggression. Of course, takedowns to 0% and I like to use 0% on break clinch...

    Tax implementation

It isn't "just because". Everything has taxes, that's why not everyone in the world has money to burn. The thing is, MMATycoon has no way to take the money out of circulation, except for gyms. Everything you do in MMATycoon results in directly money transfer, so the money "created" (created because they come from the game, not from anyone) by events, just keep circulating and a bit of it goes to coaches (I know clothing and supps companies need to pay some too, but that is almost nothing compared to what the coaches cost, even when coaches are almost nothing compared to orgs gains). You see the problem? 40k comes from nothing, and there isn't a place where it (or a significant part of it) goes away. My suggestion was just to sink some of the money slowly and without causing any big damages to anyone. Look, I know you guys didn't like my idea, but I just tried to present a solution for it, a solution that doens't harm new managers or even the richest ones - the richest would pay a lot more in taxes than the new managers, however that wouldn't broke them. But, as I said before, we all have diferent opinions. I just tried to show something I thought it would be nice, but as it hasn't approval I don't think it should even get near to be implemented. The point is, this is just a suggestion, there is no reason to be rude or even give me a bad reputation because of it - I'm not doing any bad to anyone, just trying to make the game better.

    Tax implementation

I said "Well, I don't really see a way to implement it for the Organizations", so I just gave an idea of how to implement in orgs, however I agree it's not right to take the money out before it even reaches the managers. No, I didn't. I said "if you look it with the eyes of improving the game instead of getting richer and richer, you might agree with me." Sorry if I expressed myself badly (English is not my first language so I may commit some mistakes), however I meant that maybe you would agree with me. I don't think I wrote it wrong, but that's what I tried to say. It would be pretty rude of me to say you have to agree with what I said or you're greed, I know each one has it's personal opinions and that's something I really respect, so I apologize if the mistake of the sentence was mine. I'm not and I hate graft (I think that's the word). The companies get tax free because their profite ain't big at all, you can see that clothes and supps do not give you a great income, so taxing that isn't a good idea. As I said, it's a second way to stop the laundry through bookies, this way bookies wouldn't need to be blocked from selling anymore. It isn't exacly that. With the higher tax for "import" ppl would preffer to buy in their own locations. This would help the supps companies to run when they're not that good. However, if your location doesn't have good supps, importing it isn't that expensive (for a $200 supp and 30% difference between taxes you would pay $60 more than someone who is in the same location of the company). But, keep in mind you still can buy from one location with your manager, and send it to your fighters...

    Tax implementation

I'm not saying 10% of everying, as I said I used 10% just as an example (and because it's easier to calc lol). And I usually make $40000 every event, that would drop to $34000 (if the tax was 10%, but again, 10 is just an example), that amount would harm me in paying $60000 every month in private training but not harm me in running the org. Of course, some more planing would be needed in hiring fighters but my org still kind small yet and makes a good profit. PS.: I also told this would be "maybe" a way to implement it in orgs, I said I don't really see a good way to do it.

    Tax implementation

Sure they do, but they're implemented by some countries with second intentions (sadly one example is mine) of filling the governors pocket. They implement abusive taxes, they're greed. I know a lot of ppl ain't gonna like this idea, but you gotta agree with me that this game needs to take some of it's money out of the streets (and I've heard Mike is working on something to solve this issue). This is not going to do a big damage to anyone, if you look it with the eyes of improving the game instead of getting richer and richer, you might agree with me.

    Tax implementation

Hello Everyone, So, this is quite a simple idea, it consists in charging some fees from transactions. Main idea: Charge fees from any kind of manager/fighter to manager/fighter transaction (except sending money from manager to fighter). How to charge: It's not how it's done in my country, but I think they do it this way in US. Charges will be applied over the price you are paying, like if you choose to buy something that costs $100 and the tax is 10%, the owner will receive the 100$ but you're going to pay $110. Possible implementations: -Clothing and Nutrition companies: I'd suggest a 10% tax if the buyer is in the same location of the product, and maybe a 40% or 50% if they're in different locations. This way some ppl will preffer to buy products in their own location (or fighter's location), improving sales of some companies. Also, who manage these companies is not going to suffer any damage, as they're not paying the difference. Only big companies will drop on their sales (if ppl choose to buy from other smaller ones in their own locations) while smaller ones will increase their sales. -Orgs: Well, I don't really see a way to implement it for the Organizations. Maybe charging the org owners in some % value over their payment to fighters, this way smaller orgs will be just a bit affected, while bigger orgs will suffer a bit more of damage. (smaller orgs can pay like $30000 in fighter wages for an event, which means for a 10% tax they will pay only $3000 more - the big ones can pay something like $200000, which means a $20000 tax charge). -Selling Companies A tax may be applied just like in Clothing and Nutrition companies to the company buyer. This way there won't be any problems with laundry through Bookies anymore, exemple: Let's say the tax is 10%. If someone buys $60000 of laundry units in a company, he will pay $66000. The normal cut of the company owner is 10%, so he would buy a bookie from the first manager for $54000, but with the tax apply the bookie owner will need to send him an offer of $49090.91 (this way, starting from $50000 will be better to laundry from bookies, but values below that will be better if tranfered by manager to manager transaction). From $66000, around $10000 went away in taxes and bookies transactions will no longer need to be blocked. Also, I would like to add a second suggestion: postage fee based on distance, just like travelling. That's it, I'm not sure if you guys are going to like it but I hope you do. I know it will harm a bit our pockets, but the game needs a way to take some money out of the streets. PS.: 10% rows, I didn't even need a calculator for most of the calcs
  21. I didn't know that About the topic, I've never seen a difference even between QFCs and orgs, HOWEVER, the most hyped your opponent is the more hype you gain (you gain a lot more if he is better hyped than you and sometimes almost nothing if his hype is too low). The thing is, QFCs don't have good hyped fighters and Big Orgs usually hold the most hyped ones (which means that indirectly it kind affect the hype gain)
  22. You get money for referring the game to ppl (if they buy vip). Check http://www.mmatycoon.com/affiliates.php Btw, VIP is great in this game, and it's not an expensive value (actually it's a pretty low one). It really worth to pay it...

    Cancelling events

I considered that idea, however I don't know a manager who wants to buy it neither how much it worth, and I don't really like the idea to sell it in general sale... If someone wants to buy, I'm open for negotiating

    Cancelling events

Yeah, there aren't enough fighters in NY for the amount of orgs... However, my org counts with 122 fighters (problably arund 80 active =/), so org owners, few free to message the fighters inside UFF and already make a deal with them, they would problably be released in 1 month at most...
