I'll hold 5 events as the last ones... The thing is, I can't compete with the prices they're paying in NY, and if I can't afford to hire any fighters, I can't continue with the org. I got 3 more events booked after this 5 ones, but with the high amount of inactive managers and not hiring anyone, I don't think I'll be able to fill these cards. I'll just give 3k of free tickets and hope it works to return half my money haha. Thx for the answer Mario

I don't really know, I think it depends of your org's hype. I've got the same issue, my champ's manager just stopped logging in since august 3rd I think... I'll strip him before an event, just need to get the balls to do it haha

Hello guys, I know lots of you may not agree with what I’m going to say, however it would be nice if you just read it and give constructive opinions instead of just swearing at me. If there’s one thing we know for sure, is that the stand up game is presenting some problems with the aggressor / counter slider. I gave some thought about it, some suggestions came to my mind and they’re listed below: 1st: Using the same counterattack should make it more predictable. Well, when in a fight, if the fighter A waits fighter B to jab and then counters with a hook, he might get it the first time, even the second time, but when we’re talking about pros it’s hard that he is going to hit it the third time in a row. The third time fighter B throws a jab, he will be waiting for the hook and he will hit fighter A with a nasty uppercut that might even send him to the moon. The thing is, a fighter realizes when someone is to obvious, he insists on the same thing to check if the situation happens again, and if that’s the point he is going to use that in favor of him. So, what would this help us in the situation? When an aggressive fighter comes to punch the other, some sort of “predictable” might be done about the counter strike. When used once, this should be set to 0 (saying it goes from 0 to 1), when he uses it again it will be set as 0.05 as example. The thing is, the more he uses it, the best is the chance of a new counterattack by part of the aggressor, or at least he would defend the strike. Mixing it up should bring the number a bit down; I mean, if each time he counters with a different attack the “predicable” number of each attack should decrease a little, as it will confuse his opponent a bit. So, better fighters present a bigger number of counter strikes, which means they will be a lot harder to be predictable. 2nd: Presence on the cage / ring. First of all, I’m sorry because I don’t really know how to say this in English. If there is any Brazilian here that knows it, I want to say “Domínio do ringue”. It means how good you are in moving inside the ring, in dominating the center of it, in sending your opponent wherever you want to. This might come as experience, the more experienced the fighter is, the better he will be in dominating the ring. There are some examples of fighters that use it, including short fighters that manage to close the distance, putting his opponent in the strings using not a single punch, just by moving and threatening. Mike Tyson used to do that. That way, more aggressive fighters that know how to dominate the ring should have some advantage against counter strikers, as they usually don’t attack while their opponents have some way out. As experience isn’t everything in this point, here are two attached suggestions of this one: 2.1: Secondary “footwork ability” Well, the best the fighter is at this, the easiest it will be to put his opponent with the back on the cage. Also, it would help in striking defense and in avoiding to be put in the corner, helping also counter strikers. 2.2: Secondary “Ring presence” This is the damn thing I don’t know how to say, but I think you guys understood what I mean. This would help your fighter to have the domination of the center, being able to strike better and to be more aggressive. Experience and intelligence should also count points in favor of this (making those 2 more important). 3rd: Temporary solution Well, in my opinion this is the worse, but also the simpler and easiest to implement one. Just to finish with the complete leak of activity in the stand up game of 2 counter strikers, a compare between the 2 sliders might be done. If both are set to 100% counter, they would fight as if they were 50 50. If one is at 75% and the other is at 100% counter, they would fight as if they were 42.8571% and 57.1429% counter (or using some other more adequate algorithm). This would be done whenever the addition of both sliders results in more than 100% for counter, and adjusted to finish it with 100%. Also, another important point is that when the fight has no activity on the ground, they stand up. If has no activity in the clinch, they break up. And if has no activity in the stand up? It becomes boring. However, even the worse fights tend to become more aggressive after some time. If the slider tends to go a bit more to aggressive as the fight time passes, it would help the problem a little too. Thank you for reading it, I had something else in might but I forgot what it was. PS.: I know Mike is working on it, and I think he is near to finish as he said he is balancing some stuff of the new system. I hope some of these suggestions still can be used to help in this problem.
