  1. Disclaimer for guys currently under contract: Don't worry I'm not going to stop playing and just leave you to run out the inactivity clause . I'm just testing out for potential buyers and if I find one, gonna sell. Other than that it's business as usual. Wings is for sale http://mmatycoon.com/orgpublic.php?oid=354 No debt, currently 133 fighters signed, sale date after my last scheduled event. With a bit planning you should easily be able to make nice chunk of profit every event. Reason I'm selling is my lack of interest for the game, the org itself is making very good money. Gimme offers via PM or something.

    Fighting myself

Actually it was my org: http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgeventpublic.php?EvID=7317 And yeah it was me who booked the event 2000 years in the future too . Maybe I should just change my browser but I'm so fond of it.
  3. Well I think it is lame to let some people own two companies and some just one. No matter if they created them before the "only one company" rule.
  4. I was a bit bored so I decided to make posters for our coming events: http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/thrust.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/chaos.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/official.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/era.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/stars.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/animals.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/carnivore.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/requiem.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/prey.jpg

    Gym fees

I'm just use this thread to ask, what time did the AM and PM training sessions go down again?
  6. It's a stantard BBS feature that just means you aren't showed in the "currently online" list with the other non-anonymous folk.
  7. Nobody is saying your product isn't what you say it is. We were just simply pointing out the fact that screenshots prove absolutely nothing.
  8. Yep, that's why I'm introducing the Cardio SHAZAM! http://i39.tinypic.com/16i5rfc.jpg This is the best product at the cheapest price with a mind blowing 184 quality rating!! Only problem is that I don't have a nutrition store yet but I'll most definitely open one in the near future and then this product is going to be a hit! So keep your eyes peeled because this is going to be sold out in an instant. On a serious note, screenshots prove nothing.
  9. Couldn't really find anything on the forums/wiki about this so I decided to ask if there's a period of time the fighting offer will be automatically accepted/decline by the system? As an org owner it's a bit frustrating to see managers with good guys going offline for a long period of time whilst their guy is under contract. It sucks to book them and not really knowing if they're ever going to come back and then you're left to find a replacement in the last minute. Also I think there's another potential issue where a guy can just choose not to accept or decline the offer in order to ride out "inactivity clause" and then leave your company. I don't know exactly if it's even possible but would suck if someone did it. Sure I could just release them but some of these guys have good records and I wouldn't wanna just let them go or let the inactivity clause run out. I think there should be something like one week or less from sending the offer when it would be automatically accepted by the game. Of course then you would have to take a look at the fighters energy bar to see whether he could even make weight or not if the manager isn't there to coach him properly. Maybe the system could automatically send them an email notice that their guy accepted the offer or something to get their attention.
  10. Thanks guys, I made the posters by myself.
  11. Quick update on things to come. Our first event "Pakkotoisto Challenge: Round 1" was a big success. Nearly a sold out arena ensured a firm footing for the future events. All 6 of our future events are booked for the Micro Arena. After those I'm going to hop for the bigger venues to ensure bigger paydays for my guys. So stay tuned and still if you got a guy that's at or under 185lbs weight division give me a pm and I'll see if we can come up with a deal for him. Upcoming events: 2009-06-26 Initiation 2009-06-28 Trial by fire 2009-07-02 Heat 2009-07-05 Storm 2009-07-11 The Game 2009-07-12 Masters Event posters: http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/PTCRound1.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/Initiation.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/Trial-by-fire.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/heat.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/storm.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/the_game.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/masters.jpg
  12. Negotiations are part of this game and real life. It's cool if you think you deserve a raise in order to stay in the org but you won’t get what you want by just snapping your fingers, not in the real life or in this game. Of course the org CEO is going to try to get the cheapest deal possible, that's their job, it doesn't mean he's being an ass. It was a douche bag move from your part to say you're gonna sign again immediately if he releases you and then bail. If he didn't offer you what you wanted then you should've just suck it up and ride out the remaining of your contract and find more lucrative offers after that. If the contract was such a horrible rip off to begin with then why did you sign it in the first place?
  13. Well I don't really care where it is. Like I said I chose EFNet because it is fairly popular all around the world (In the states as in the europe). From my experience altho IRCnet and Quakenet (I'm in both too) are two of the biggest networks around they're mainly used by europeans. Also as someone stated above EFNet also few other MMA related channels so that was another reason I went for. Personally I've never even heard of Coldfront and if you look at the numbers it seems to have fairly low user amount of ~2100. Where as the most popular ones like Quakenet has 100 000 and EFNet 50 000 users. I took a look at the other chat thread and saw that you said chats take a lot of server capacity. I think IRC could become handy here because basically all you would need to do is make a channel in some network and then implement somekind of webchat cliet to your page and hey presto you would have chat. I don't think it would take nearly as much out of the server because all you would have to host is the webchat client. I've seen this technique used in countless of websites so maybe there's something to it. Currently there's just me and somebody else on the channel so it doesn't really matter even if it's moved to some other network.
  14. Since there doesn't seem to be an official MMA Tycoon irc channel I decided to make an unofficial one. So if you want to discuss about the game, women or booze come to #MMATycoon at EFNet. Don't know what IRC is? Read about it here. Don't have a client? Download one from here or use the webchat here. I know people are around the world in this site and you might prefer other networks but EFNet being fairly popular I decided to make the channel there.
  15. The rule could be changed in the future, who knows. I know at least one guy with two companies but he probably made those in the beginning when there wasn't such a restriction.
  16. Thank you for your efforts, I put it back to company. I gotta stay more focused
  17. Yea, it says it all the time. I just didn't notice the first time around and well now I can't undo it . If I cancel it will my hype still take a hit even tho it's scheduled lights years from now and has no fighters? This is the event http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgupcomingeventp...c.php?EvID=6768
  18. As I said here http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?...ost&p=14609 Only problem I can see is that you'll have scroll aaaaaaall the way back to correct year, other than that it seemed to work correctly. If you could delete it would be nice http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgpublic.php?oid=354 If not, oh well gotta work harder .
  19. Now I can say I have long term plans.. Oh well I really can't stay waiting and I'm just gonna another event. If that other one cannot be cancelled then it just cost me $7000 Edit: What do you know you need 7 days to plan your next event. Well it don't really matter I'm just gonna book it for next week.
  20. No they don't. In what form is the date supposed to be? I clid the calender icon and chose a date 13th June and it puts it like this 3909-06-13. Dunno really what could be wrong. Edit: As I suspected correct form for the date is 2009-06-13. My browser Opera 9.64 is screwing the calender up it automatically sets the year to 3909. I tried it with IE and put it up correctly but unfortunately I've already saved the event and can't change the date. Anyway to fix it? Really don't want to book an event for a year 3909.
  21. I choose the weight class but no fighters come up for selection. I have plenty of fighters looking for fight in that weight class and their contracts aren't expiring in a long time. What am I missing

  23. Wings Entertainment is scouting for fighters. Gimme a PM and I'll put you up for a contract. http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgpublic.php?oid=354 Quick update, signings are on the way and new fighters keep popping up all the time. I made a strategic decision to concentrate on the 185 and below weight classes. So for now I wont be taking any LHW/HW or SHW guys, sorry.
  24. Let's do 'tis. http://i43.tinypic.com/207xpiw.jpg
