  2. I will be buying that in the near future.
  3. Well, if you're going to fight make sure to do it in PRIDE or DFC!
  4. If you want to make some fighters in Tokyo, PRIDEMMA is hiring! (especially heavyweights)

  6. Hahaha Ken Shamrock! I've got to buy some of this before the NSAC puts it on their list of banned substances!
  7. Sakurai straight killing Aoki with knees was fabulous. MMA isn't really MMA without knees on the ground. Knees on the ground make life so much more amazing. Can we all agree to collectively forget Sergi Kharitonov? At the weigh-ins he looked like a fat old man, a far cry from the determined fighter we saw in 2005. It's very clear he doesn't care anymore, he just fights for a paycheck. In the fight Kharitonov did about as well as a 0-0 Midwestern can. Monson couldn't have asked for a more hapless opponent. Monson landed the first takedown, took top control, passed guard effortlessly, and even got to finish with his trademark Monson choke. Stick a fork in Sergi, he's done. Zaromskis/Ikemoto was EASILY the best fight of the night and one of the best fights so far this year! Man, that was great. If you only see one fight from DREAM - go check out Zaromskis/Ikemoto on the youtubes. Flying backflip guard pass - are you kidding me?
  8. *bump* I don't think releasing fighters is particularly helpful or neccessary. The problem with zombie managers is that their fighters clog up the "search" lists. When the owner of an organization is trying to find new fighters to sign the good prospects are clogged by fighters whose managers are AWOL. If there was some kind of feature where fighters where de-listed when the manager was AWOL for a month it would be greatly appreciated.
  9. PRIDE MMA views its managers as partners. We endevor to keep our managers happy by providing superior speed and service to them. Fighters aren't making any money or building their hype by sitting on the shelf waiting for a bout offer to arrive. We want to make the process of putting fighters in well-matched fights as quick and easy for the busy fight manager as we can.
  10. At PRIDE MMA we hold true the Japanese traditional values of respect and honor. We would never advertise in another person's thread without permission.
  11. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/Exhibition1a.jpg PRIDE's first exhibition event featuring the best up-and-comers in the Tokyo MMA scene kicks off Saturday, April 11th. Undefeated heavyweights Freddy "The Ace" Spitfire and Kareem "The King" O Wheet face off in our main event leading a stacked card of the most exciting fighters in Japan. On a card full of high-powered heavyweights and menacing middleweights what would a PRIDE card be without a cross-divisional matchup? PRIDE's own minowaman 185lb WARDOR WARLOVSKI will try to slay the goliath 265lb Mohamad Najar! A great night of fights awaits Tokyo fans on Saturday! Fight Managers: Create new talent in Tokyo today and become part of the most exciting fight organization in the world, PRIDE MMA! http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1238738092PRIDEMMA1.jpg
  12. Sick stuff! I love it F_Man!
  13. Haha, don't worry, none of it is serious. DIDM and I are friends in off-site. We're just giving eachother a good ribbing as competing promoters.
  14. You would try to denegrate the most pure fight promotion in MMATycoon DIDM. Just go back to your dungeon where you can toss shirtless fighters in cages like dogs for drunk gawking Las Vegas tourists to oggle! Fight managers that respect bushido will sign their fighters to PRIDE.
  15. The reason organizations like GLAAD are quick to jump on anyone who uses terms like "faggot" in a pejorative manner is because of just what you said, many people still hold the generalized opinion "I just don't really care for gays." I hope you can understand why organizations like GLAAD may be a bit thin-skinned. Homosexuals are, after all, the only minority group in America which is still socially acceptable to say that you dislike, or even hate. As far as simple words go, hardly a day goes by that you don't hear "oh, that's gay!" or "Shut up faggot". If someone threw around terms like "wetback" or "n*****" with such frequency people would be aghast. To say "do gay people consider themselves fags?" is not particularly great logic. I don't think calling an African-American man a "n*****" and then saying "why are you offended? Do you consider yourself a n*****?" would be a particularly effective means of defense. I think all could agree that would be wrong. I know GLAAD asking for an apology looks a little petty, just like it looks petty when NAACP or the Anti-Defemation League take similar steps. But I don't think an apology is too much to ask for. It isn't like anyone is asking for Dana White to lose his job like Don Imus or anything. I think an apology is a sufficient request.
  16. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1238738092PRIDEMMA1.jpg PRIDE Mixed Martial Arts (not to be confused with PRIDE Fighting Championships -- our lawyers inform us we are definitely different enough from them to not get sued) is the premiere Tokyo mixed martial arts organization. PRIDEMMA gives fighters the honor and respect they deserve. Our fighters fight in a dignified ring, not in a cage like animals. PRIDE fighters are allotted maximum time to demonstrate their bushido and finish their opponent through two 10-minute rounds. The most skilled judges in the world score the whole fight, not just individual rounds. And, unlike our Tokyo competitors, PRIDEMMA is completely legitimate -- no yakuza here! In addition to traditional events, PRIDEMMA is dedicated to 16-man Grand Prix events with substantial financial rewards for the victor. Stay tuned for announcements in the upcoming days about our inaugural Grand Prix which will be in the 185, 205, or 265 divisions. Fight Managers: PRIDE needs fighters! Recruit fighters in Tokyo today and sign them to PRIDE. Begin to build your records and your relationship with PRIDEMMA today so that you can reap the great financial rewards tomorrow! PRIDEMMA wants fighters who can perform at their best, so make sure they check out Benihana Elite Gym in Tokyo. Companies: We still have sponsorship opportunities with PRIDEMMA. Contact PRIDEMMA today to learn more. Many more announcements are forthcoming, so stay tuned! PRIDEMMA -- Honor, Valor, Pride.
  17. Be witty - parody the real names. People love little jokes, getting someone to laugh is a cheap and effective way to build the relationship between the business and the consumer.
  18. My Controls > Board Settings (near the bottom left of the screen) > Your base time zone.
  19. So, just to check, there's no real way to see how you're training is going unless you're a VIP?
