  2. Well done Dean And by the way Van Kirkland at 265 is now known as Mr. Cuts Easy.
  3. Presented By Torment MMA-LA http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1346202347wotla11.jpg It's Finally that time again life just isn't worth livin without some Torment MMA-LA fight action. Just kidding fella's life is awesome got a new Baby boy on the way can't wait to use him as my punching bag well when hes 5 or 6 at least. Back to the action we got the Featherweight Title tourney getting under way, as well we got the 205 simi's. All and all we got one hell of a event yet again. We will be back at the Hard Knocks Arena and look to sale out again. I know the NFL season will be starting up this sunday and i am sure you all will be dialed in on that but leave your Saturday night open for the Torment LA show folks you wont regret it. Let's take a look and see what the card has in store for us. Prelims Rodrigo "Scary Skilled" Oliveira (0-1-1) Vs. Rodrigo "Puffpuffpass" Reefer (0-3-0) Kicking us off is the fight for the rights of the name Rodrigo winner takes it the other guy must change there name immediatley. Oliveira has been out of action for quite a few month's, looks like he has been devoted to turning his career around. "Scary Skilled" is coming out there with fantastic Muay Thai and a BJJ Purple belt. He has a good chin so i see him using his Muay Thai skills a lot in this bout look for him to explode early. Reefer is on a 3 fight loosing streak and really needs this fight to stay alive in the org. He has some awesome Boxing just has not been able to use it much. Let's hope Reefer steps it up in this bout and puts on a great fight to start things off. Sam "Bad Mother" Tucker (0-1-0) Vs. Almas "SubMishMan" Mustafin (2-5-0) Got a heavyweight clash up next with two guys ready to climb up a long ladder of awesome heavy's here at Torment LA. Tucker had a unsucessfull debut dropping a UD in his first pro fight. Sam has a purple belt in BJJ and is a very determind fighter he looks pretty balanced. Mustafin has a BJJ purple belt as well and look for him to shoot for a takedown at some point. Almas is giving up nearly 8 inches in height so this may be something to watch out for he needs to find a way to get inside on his towering opponent. Luke Hobbs (0-1-0) Vs. "The Gracefull" Benjamin Akebono (1-2-0) The next bout will take place at lightheavyweight Jack vs. the Beanstalk. Young Luke Hobbs is looking for his first victory here after a close decision loss in his pro debut. Hobbs has a nice chin and good boxing skills, his BJJ is his bread and butter though. Akebono is got to be the tallest Lightheavyweight around standing in at 7 feet tall. Ben likes to shoot a lot of takedowns which may be a bad decision in this fight as he looks to be outclassed on the ground here. The big issue with Akebone here is he seems to train to hard which may play a big role in his stamina. Let's hope he takes some time to rest or he may be forced to in this fight with Hobbs possibly choking out the Bean pole. Scott "Raven" Levy (2-0-0) Vs. Rick "Byotch" James (2-1-0) in are final prelim fight we got a couple of nice Middleweight prospects. Levy is good wrestler with a good Knowledge of BJJ as well. He is looking to keep his undefeated streak in tact in this bout to do this he will want to bring it to the ground and use his excellent GnP. "Raven" comes from the Steel Penn camp and by the way my Son that is on the way will be taken the name Raven. James is a perfect 2-0 here at Torment LA with two first round subs. Rick is a very intelligent fighter with a great BJJ game a true master in the making on the ground. This fight should be a nice grappling showing with James the submission guy against a grinder and GnP beast in Levy. Main-Card Featherweight Title Challenge Match #1 Alexis "The Original" Hendriks (3-0-0) Vs. Killin "Just for" Spight (3-0-0) Are first Featherweight challenge matchup is a battle of the undefeated. Hendriks a brown belt in BJJ is a first round submission finisher with 3 total. He also has decent Muay Thai and very good Kicks, former Featherweight champ of Torment Vegas looking to hit it big here in LA. Spight is a boxer who likes to use his powerful clinching to intimedate his foes. Killin also has some good wrestling which makes it hard to get him down. Spight a member of the Duphus camp will be looking to keep Ruphus undefeated here at Torment LA. Featherweight Title Challenge Match #2 "Mean" Marty Downer (2-0-0) Vs. Zak Moro (4-0-0) Matchup #2 will pit a couple of decision makers hopefully this one will be a three round war. Marty Downer has a solid all around game and looks to have a good Gas tank. Downer likes to counter punch and also has a Blue belt in BJJ. Moro a boxer stylist is coming off a "Fight of the Night" performance. AT 4-0 Zak wants to keep it rollin here with another big win. Moro does tend to cut but with his boxing experience i see him staying clear of the Majority of his opponents strikes using a lot of head movement. Featherweight Title Challenge Match #3 "The Hammer" Jackson Briggs (1-0-0) Vs. "Cj Corona" Renato King (5-2-0) In the third bout of the Challenge we got a couple of youngsters stepping into the Torment Cage. Briggs has a balanced attack and he likes to brawl. He was down in his pro debut but secured a nice arm triangle to make his opponent tape in the second round, nice come from behind victory. He also has a good chin which he will want to stand in this bout so that chin he will need. King looks to be one of the favorites in the featherweight tourney he holds a BJJ Brown belt. To go with his great BJJ he has some ferocious Ground and Pound. On his feet Renato is no novice either with Knockout power he can get the job done anywhere the fight goes. Featherweight Title Challenge Match #4 "The Descent" Incan Bulb (2-0-0) Vs. "Werewolf" Viktor Black (6-1-0) The final fight in the Challenge is gonna be my "Fight of the Night" pick this week. Bulb has looked very impressive here at Torment with two "of the Night" performances already. Incan has a very well rounded MMA game which makes it very tough for the rest of the field. Incan is a very accurate striker so i see him trying to keep this fight standing but if it goes to the ground the BJJ purple belt is not going to be very uncomfortable there either. Viktor has a lot of experience and has his eyes set on that championship belt no doubt. After dropping his first fight of his career Viktor has managed to go on a 6 fight win streak. Black will be wanting to get this fight to the ground ASAP but if not his Granite chin should keep him in the fight for a bit. This one is gonna be a freakin war people. Co-Main Event Light Heavyweight Simi-Finals Match #1 Alex "Nailed" Your Momma (5-0-0) Vs. "Lihava"Liha Rekka (5-0-0) We are going to have are Lightheavyweight Title Final set after saturdays event. First up Rekka takes on Your Momma haha had to say it. Rekka put away the Bosses fighter Antonio Silva with a nasty head kick in the open round. Liha is a very powerfull fighter with a very good Muay Thai style he loves to overwhelm his foes in the clinch. If he can control the clinch in this bout watch out for his knees they can make even John Wayne himself cry like a baby. Alex is a very heavy handed boxer with 4 of his 5 wins being Knockouts. Another Duphus team member he will be tested very well in this bout with Rekka. This bout may come down to cardio then again what the hell am i thinking someone is getting Knocked the Buck out. Main Event Light Heavyweight Simi-Finals Match #2 Azazle "The Red Bull" Aroman (3-0-0) Vs. "Suga" Rashad Evans (7-1-0) Here we go lady's and gents the Main Event is up next and we got a Barn burner in store for ya here. Azazle is a decorated collegiate wrestler says his bio, i believe it. He also has some heavy hands from the mount as he finished all his fights from there including a cut stoppage over Pat Berry. Not to much is known of his striking on the feet though lets hope it's up to par. "Suga" is a very well rounded fighter with a solid chin. Rashad will want to keep this bout standing since his foe has not been there much, to do so he better be ready to stuff the Takedown. Evans has 4 KO's on his resume so let's see how Aroman can handle a Striker such as his caliber. Damn that Title Final is gonna be nice. Thats the way she goes fans gonna be a night to remember Saturday. We are bringing in some big names here to Torment MMA so the Competition is gonna be balls to the walls. Best of luck to all the warriors on this card, they will be putting on one hell of a Event so they deserve it. Peace out Pat Miletich
  4. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/36/36a1.jpg "The Assassin" Mike Myers It is almost official Mr. Myers will be coming over to take over the heavyweight division very soon. He has one fight left with his current org and then he will bring his Serial Killer ass over to $uck some shit% up. Hahahahaha Click the link if you know what im sayin'
  5. Gotta big Lol for that one they really need to put rape choke on the games submission move engine.
  6. Torment MMA-LA Presents WOTLA 10-LW Title Challenge It is that time of the week again MMAddicts as Torment MMA-LA is set to host yet another action packed fight card. This saturday night we will be located at Hard Knocks Arena in Los Angeles for WOTLA 10. Thats right we are moving on up the Arena holds 3000 seats and we hope to see them all full on Saturday. The Card is gonna focus on the Lightweight this time around as we have three Title Challenge Qualifiers. Also on the Card is the Simi's of the heavyweight #1 contender tourny. Not to mention a battle between two fast rising Welterweights. So let's get to the action. Middleweight Bout Rich Fronning(0-2-0) Vs. "Calico" Jack Rackham(1-0-0) Starting off the card we got two 18 year olds taking the cage in a rematch. In the first bout Fronning a Muay Thai Specialist just could not seem to get anything going. Fronning comes in with a huge amount of heart he never gives up even when the cards are stacked against him. Hopefully he has made the right adjustments and makes a statement here. Rackham a native of Jamaica is looking to continue where he left off in there last bout by dominating every aspect of the fight. Rackham has a solid gas tank and a balanced MMA attack. Lets see if Fronning is up for the task here tonight as this could make for a interesting rubber match down the road. Lightweight Title Challenge Match #1 Tommie "The Shot" Gunn(1-0-0) Vs. "The Animal" Jonas Andersson In the next bout we will be kicking off the LW Title Challenge. Gunn is back to the Torment cage after a exciting debut that earned him a "KO of the Night" award. Tommie has spent a lot of time in the gym and looks to have paid off his wrestling is awesome and when he takes you down watch out for his dangerous GnP. Tommie also is very strong for a lightweight and can break his opponent very quickly in the cage. He will be squaring off with "The Animal" who is coming off a nice come from behind submission victory in his debut. The Swedish born fighter Andersson has good boxing and will need to keep this fight on the outside. I don't think Jonas will want to test his submission skills in this bout as Gunn can be hard to deal with when it hits the mat for anyone. Light Heavyweight Bout "Manic Psycho" Giovinco Del Marquesa(2-1-0) Vs. Cock Daniels(1-1-0) "Manic Psycho" is coming off his first loss of his career and will be very eager to get back on track here. Giovinco has excellent Muay Thai and a devastating head kick. It seemed as if Del Marquesa relied on the head kick a tad bit to much in his last bout, but being he is managed by a very good manager i expect him to have a new gameplan and look very impressive this saturday. Cock Daniels is back in the cage to take on Giovinco, and cock is also looking to bounce back from a defeat. Cock is cardio machine as we all know and if the fight goes to the later rounds that is where he will look to take the advantage. Daniels also comes from a strong camp so this fight could be spectacular. Light Heavyweight Bout Toki Wartooth(5-0-0) Vs. "Buttercup" Bernard Shamrock(3-1-0) are next bout will be yet another Lightheavy showdown. Toki is a Boxer with a great chin and comes in with a nice 5-0 record. Although he is 5-0 he will be taking a huge step up in competition here and as his trainer i am looking forward to seeing how he handles himself inside the Torment cage. Shamrock the younger brother of Ken & Frank is looking to carrying on the family name and make his late adopted father proud. "Buttercup" is a good wrestler and is looking to use counter strikes in this bout. Other then the fight of course i am very stoked to here these two guys intrances as Shamrock will be entering the cage to Roots Bloody Roots by Sepultura and toki will be represented by his awesome band dethklok with the tune Awaken rocking the Arena. Lightweight Title Challenge Match #2 Ronnie "Roughcut" Chinner(1-0-0) Vs. Robin "The One" Kidd(5-1-0) in the second Lightweight Challenge bout of the evening we got Chinner Vs. Kidd. Ronnie has a decent all around game and loves to brawl it out. Chinner who looked down in out in his pro debut came back in the second round of his bout and finished it with a exciting TKO. Kidd is a very experinced fighter with a boxing and wrestling style of fighting. "The One" is coming off the biggest win of his pro career and looks to be a favorite in this tourny experience wise. If the fight goes to the third i see Robin doing some good work and will make it hard for chinner to score points as kidd has great cardio. Main Card Welterweight Bout Omar Torres(3-1-0) Vs. Shalako Carlin(3-2-0) getting the Main Card started we have a great welterweight matchup. Omar is a great wrestler and has a lot of heart, he is 2-0 in the Torment cage and is looking to climb the ladder even more. Torres is also a solid Counter puncher which is how he picked up the KO in his last bout. Shalako is a well rounded fighter who is very quick and likes to brawl. Carlin is a very good clinch fighter and finished his las opponent with a a picture perfect Knee to the dome. This one is gonna be my "KO of the Night" pick as i see it going to the second or third round with a possible KO finish by either guy. Heavyweight #1 Contender Match #1 Yevgeni "Yellow Flash" Andreyev(2-1-0) Vs. Pablo Santucho(6-3-0) In the Simi's of the Heavyweight #1 contender tourny one of these two guy will be one step closer to a title opputunity. Yevgeni earned his first KO finish in his last bout also picking up a "KO of the Night" award. He has wonderfull boxing and is a very determined fighter. The Russian born Andreyev will be taking on Santucho a Uruguayan born fighter. Pablo is a powerfull wrestler with fantastic Ground and Pound. Pablo finished 5 of his 6 wins with his GnP and will be looking to get the fight down again so he can overwhelm yet another foe. Welterweight Bout Leo "Madness" Spartan(3-2-0) Vs. Raphael "Hands" Stone(5-0-1) In the next bout is a fight im jacked to see with a Grappler vs. Striker matchup taking the cage. "Madness" the BJJ purple belt who is coming off a nice "Sub of the Night" performance will be Squaring off with Raphael Stone who picked up the "Fight of the Night" award in his previous bout. Spartan also has some pretty good boxing although we have not seen much of it yet. Stone is a very aggresive puncher and he is very consistent with his strikes as he landed 67 of 68 punches in his last bout. This fight could be fireworks from the start DO NOT BLINK!!! Lightweight Title Challenge Match #3 Vasilij "Sniper" Zajsev(2-2-0) Vs. Gomer "Chaplin" Jacobs(6-0-0) In the final Lightweight Challenge matchup we got "The Sniper" coming in with a excellent boxing game. Vasilij is very strong and will be coming from St. Petersburg with high expectations. In the other corner is a fast rising undefeated prospect in Gomer Jacobs. As a former Org owner who had Gomer under contract previously i know this kid very well and he is a scrapper. He is a BJJ puple belt and has a ton of heart. Chaplin is avery good ground fighter and will look to take the bout there quickly. This fight is very simple if it stays on the feet i give it to Zajsev, on the ground hands down Chaplin will get the W. Heavyweight #1 Contender Match #2 Don "Fire Breather" Dragon(6-0-0) Vs. "The Prison Guard" Stan Burton(3-0-0) In the Main Event of the night we have the big fellas. Don is a powerhouse of a man with nasty Counter Striking ability. Dragon a BJJ expert has 4 submission wins on his resume and only one of his bouts have made it out the first round. He will be challenged by Stan Burton who also is a finisher with awesome boxing. Burton is a very accurate striker and has finished all of his fights by KO. This bout will be contested with two big Allaince's squaring off as Dragon managed by Ruphus Duphus of the Gentlmen's Club and his opponent Burton is managed by Jeffrey Ramirez of Renegade Warriors. Win or loose this fight is good for both fighters the winner of course will be going into a #1 title contender match next. There was going to be a 4th Lightweight Challenge fight on this card but unfortunetley we could not find a fight for Dr. Greey so he will get a first round bye. Thats all for this awesome card and as always the weigh inns will be taken place this friday at are Local Hooters so make sure your fighters are ready to go. Best of luck to all the warriors on the card, can't wait to see another awesome night of fights i will see you all ringside for the show.

  14. Torment MMA-LA Presents WOTLA 9 BW Title Challengers Oh hell yeah we got a spectacular card instore for you all this saturday night Mr. Hodgins has put together yet another one fight fans. Are inagural Bantamweight challenge will be focused as well as the Simi Finals of the welterweight Title Challenge. Not to mention we have a Heavyweight Title fight on the card two. As once again Hayashi's Lounge is the place to be. i am also proud to announce that Torment MMA-LA has partnered up with Hooters who will be awarded all the fighters with a free Pitcher of beer and 30 wings of there choosing. The weigh Inns will be taking place at Hooters for now on some stop by and check them out. Alright thats enough for now lets take a look at the Fight Card. Bantamweight Title Challengers Opening Round Match ups Match #1 "Rowdy" Ronald Rousey(1-1-0) Vs. Liam Thomas(1-1-0) Starting off the Tourny we have to fighters who have both tasted defeat and victory. Rousey is a very determined fighter with a very good wrestling background. He was dominating his last fight on the ground until he got caught in a Triangle Choke. Ronald has some nasty GnP so if he can avoid the submission this time watch out. Liam was also submitted in his last bout via armbar. He has a very balanced skill set and is comfortable anywhere the fight goes. Thomas prefers to stand and bang though with his brawler instinct. Liam also posses decent boxing which he will want to use a lot of in this bout. Match #2 Anderson Alves(3-0-0) Vs. Vyacheslav Fedotov(3-0-0) This fight is my pick for fight of the night as Warriors of Torment alliance goes head to head here. Anderson a undefeated prospect has a purple belt in BJJ and has finished two of his fights with impressive Kimura subs. Alves is very savy on the ground and can pick you apart very easily down there if you don't know what your doing. Fedotov a former Dawg Pound Elite Fighting fighter has well rounded game and loves to finish fights. Vyacheslav is a very strong guy and likes to wear out his foes so he can go in for the kill later. This one is gonna be a war!!! Match #3 "Spaghetti" Nissin Miojo(3-1-0) Vs. "Black Republican" Carlton Banks(4-1-0) In the third tourny bout we have Muay Thai vs. Wrestling. Miojo is coming off a "Fight of the Night" performance in his last bout. A superb wrestler who posses great takedown ability. Likes to grind out the rounds with his good grappling ability. Nissin also posses a very good cardio system as he has went the distance three times in his young career. Banks will be making his 6th apparence in the cage coming over from Hypnotic FC. Banks is a Muay Thai practioner who posses a lot of strength which is really shown in his Clinchwork. Carlton will also look to batter his opponent with some of his vicious elbows. The Winner here is gonna need a very good gameplan as they are matched up very well. Match #4 Landon "So High" Collins(3-0-0) Vs. "Daddy Long Legs" Stanley Stone(4-1-0) In the final first round bout we have two BJJ Brown Belts taking the cage. Landon is a arm collector finishing all three of his fights by either Armbar or Kimura. Collins also like to counter strike and posses a granite chin. Lets just hope all those years of smoking the Ganja does not affect his endurance. Stone took home "Submission of the Night" in his Torment MMA debut with a armbar. Like Collins Stanley likes to stretch fighters arms. It will be very interesting to see who has the better submission defense in this bout which will probably be the diffrence with such simular styles. Welterweight Title Challenger Simi-Finals Match #1 Milo Talon(2-3-0) Vs. "The Most Complete Fighter" Yuri Boyka(5-2-0) The simis are now set and one of these two guys will be heading into a title fight next. Milo who started his career off with a 0-3 start has turned it around with two strait victories. Milo is a very good striker with good Muay Thai and Boxing he also can take a punch too. Boyka is exactly what his Nickname intitles a complete fighter. Yuri is most dangerous on the ground with 4 of his 5 wins being submissions. Both fighters seem to have great cardio so don't be suprised if this one goes the distance in a what looks to be a fantastic fight between WOT alliance fighters. Match #2 John Dela Cruz(4-0-0) Vs. White Sons(4-0-0) In the other simi final bout we got two highly rated undefeated prospects. Dela Cruz is a phenominal boxer with one punch KO ability. John can also take a punch and has the gas tank to go all three rounds. Sons is a very good wrestler with good GnP as he has shown in his last two bouts. Sons is very powerfull and can overwelm his foe quickly if he is not ready for it. This one is simple John needs to keep the fight standing and avoid Sons shot, if not it will be a long or short aggrevating and painfull night for him. Heavyweight Title Bout "Grinder" Bishop Kane(2-1-0) Vs. Vergil Rua(4-0-0) Bishop Kane is a ver experinced ground fighter with great wrestling and a BJJ Purple belt. Bishop likes to brawl and will look to keep the fight on the ground as much as possible and score points while controlling the pace. Vergil Rua a former champ of the now defunct Torment MMA-Las Vegas, is a explosive striker. Rua has finished all his fights in the first round including a 5 second KO in his pro debut. If Vergil can avoid the TD attempts Bishop will need to try some heavy stalling to slow down his foe or it could be lights out for Kane. Other Bouts Chancho "Johnny Boy" Smith(2-2-0) Vs. "CKS" Cks ss(3-3-0) In a featherweight showdown we have two experinced fighters trying to get over the 500 mark. "Johnny Boy" is on aa two fight loosing streak and really needs to get back on track here. Chancho has a ton of heart and will want to try to mix up his punches in this one to score as many points as possible. Cks has a balanced attack and is also on a two fight loosing streak. With desperation in both corners this could be a wild one Cks has great kicks up against Smiths boxing i dont see this one going to far but i could be wrong. "Afrozilla" Nick Gaston(2-0-0) Vs. Geronimo Moondragon(5-0-0) In a heavyweight bout for the ages we will see some ones O most go. Gaston will be making his Torment debut after two QFC fights that where both very quick KO victories. Nick has great wrestling and decent Muay Thai and loves to land elbows. He aslo is extremley powerfull. Moondragon is a KO artist finishing all 5 of his bouts with devaatating Ko's. Including a come from behind KO in his last bout against Alistar Overeem. This fight has "KO of the Night" written all over it. Watch out for the winner of this bout as they could be a rising star of the future for sure. Main Event Koopa Troopa(5-0-1) Vs. Ryan Baxter(6-0-0) In the main event the Middleweights will take center stage in a awesome headliner. Troopa is a BJJ Brown belt and comes in to this fight after having a 5 round war in his last bout that ended in a draw. Troopa has solid cardio so don't count on him getting gassed. He has a mean double leg takedown as well which i expect at some point in the fight he will attempt. Ryan Baxter a former Dynamic Fighting Championships LHW Champ is solid Muay Thai fighter with KO power. Baxter has 4 KO victories including a nasty Head Kick KO in his last bout. The winner here will have to get a look at for a future title fight. Just want to wish the best of luck to all the fighters on this saturday nights event. As it looks to be even better then the last card if thats even possible. Keep up the great work fella's Pat Miletich Over and Out.

  16. Ready for another nice Previw guys lets get this forum back on track.
  17. Torment MMA LA Presents WOTLA 8-MW Title Challengers fight Recap What a fantastic night of fights for the Torment MMA-LA Org Vladimir Bukharin is looking unstoppable and Jeremy Lin with a awesome KO of the Night Performance. Lets get this review started with the Middleweight Challenge results Vladimir Bukharin defeats. Vitor Zimmer (Rd. 1 KO Strikes) Vlad with yet another first round finish as he dismantles his foe with some Viscious GnP. Vitor comes out the gate swinging early with wild shots but nothing finding it's mark. With less then a minute gone by Zimmer trys to close the distance but Bukhrin is having none of it as he shoots for the Takedown. From there Vlad goes to work with his heavy hands, as he puts the young Brazilian in a place he does not want to be. Vladimir is now 8-0 and looking like a freight train on the ground, with 7 subs under his belt he know proves if you don't tapout you may just get simply Knocked Out. Jeremy Ring defeats. Sid Razor (Rd. 2 Sub Armbar) The next Challenge bout was a nice little battle with two promising young Middleweights. It was quite obvious where Ring wanted to take this fight early as he tried several unsuccesful Takedown attempts. Sid was doing well in the first round stuffing every shot that ring attempted. Sid was working his clinch work very well landed some great elbows and knees in the fight as he takes the first round. At the start of round two it looks like Razor is going to continue to work the body of ring all day in the clinch until a missed elbow allows Ring to secure the Takedown around the 2 minute mark. Once they went down Ring a Purple Belt in BJJ showed his class and exacuted a picture perfect Armbar for the finish. Muscle Freak defeats. Mike Simpson (Rd. 1 KO Head Kick) In the Third Challenge fight we saw a battle of Undefeated prospects going head to head. Simpson rocking out to "Sexy and i know it" for his Intro seems a bit full of him self. Very early in the fight Simpson pulls guard hoping to keep the fight on the ground and possibly try some Submissions. Once down though Muscle easily gets back up and gets Simpson in the clinch. Freak lands some painful knees to the Body and the Head while in the clinch to soften up his opponant. A nice elbow puts Simpson on wobbly legs seconds later he follows up with a beautifully timed Head Kick that ends "The Cracker Smackers" Night. Renato Reefer defeats. Ryu Hexus (Rd. 2 Sub Guillotine) The final challenger match was contested in a classic Striker vs Grappler battle. The first round was all defense as Hexus just could not find his range not landing very much. Ryu gets a Takedown where we saw several failed submission attempts from reefer, as the first goes to Renato in a very lack luster round. The start of round two shows that Ryu is getting very restless in the cage as he starts slinging wild punches from all angles with not much connecting. Hexus again scores with the takedown around the 2 minute mark which proved to be a big mistake as he gets caught with the guillotine to end the bout. Jeremy Lin defeats. Bruno Smeg (Rd. 1 TKO Strikes) *KO of the Night* Next we had "Linsane" facing off with "Chicken Chaser" at 205. Not a whole lot to say about this one as Lin completley destroys Smeg from the bery start of the fight. Either Bruno has very poor Strike defense or Mr. Lin is just like lighting out there with his punches. A big uppercut puts Smeg to the canvas followed by a few more strikes before the ref steps in and saves a battered Bruno Smeg. The Ko earned Jeremy his second KO of the Night Perfomance. Raphael Stone defeats. Alexander Rua (Rd. 3 TKO Punches) *Fight of the Night* In the "Fight of the Night" we saw two Welterweights put on one Hell of a show. Stone put on a clinic in this fight But Rua showed a lot of heart as he bounced back from a overhand Left late in round one. Round two was all Raphael Stone as he battered the body of Alexander which really took a lot out of the guy. Rua just could not get a Takedown in this fight as he tried many which could have changed this fight big time. At the 4 minute mark in round 3 Raphael starts really putting his punches together as he lands a left then a jab, and finally a devastating overhand right the puts Rua down followed by one last right hand that was really not needed but hey this is a fight. Main Event Jyrki Jyyti defeats. Nathan Jones (Rd. 2 TKO Cut) In the evenings Main Event we had the big guys step in the cage. Both guys are very experinced and look to be serious threats in the Heavyweight division here at Torment MMA. Both guys had some cut problems in this bout early in round one which proves that they both hit very hard. Around the 2 minute mark of the first Jyyti hits Jones with a nice combanation that knocks down the Giant, and also opens a cut under Nathans eye. The round ends with Jyyti controling a bloodied Jones on the ground. At the start of round two it is obvious that Jones cannot take much more punches to his head with all the blood he has spilled already, unfortunetley a few more shots including a Right Hand to the Forehead forces the Doctor calls the bout. Nothing like a blood filled Main event to end the event. Jyyti looks to be a top contender here at Torment MMA keep a eye out for him in the future. As for mister Jones he is a tough dude and i know he will be back to his winning ways. Other bouts Leo Spartan defeats. Mike Lewis (Rd. 3 Sub Kimura) *Sub of the Night* Alex Silva defeats. Trevor Simpson (Rd. 1 KO Strikes) Ray Rua defeats Ji Samsung (Decision Unanimous) Great card for the fans as it was a sold out Hayashi's Lounge in LA. I am looking foward to are next big card we got some great talent here for years to come. Can anyone beat Vladimir Bukharin we will see as the Middleweight Quarter finals will be coming soon looks like Muscle Freak will get the Luxury of taking him on in the next round. Also that will leave Renato Reefer to face Jeremy Lin in the other quarterfinal match up. And how about Jyrki Jytti at heavyweight maybe he can get the winner of Don Dragon vs Stan Burton for a possible Title Headliner lets see what the Boss has in mind. thats a wrap fans Pat Miletich signing off, and yes Stikeforce does not pay me nearly enough so i have to try and make money some how and wouldn't want to do it any other way then right here at Torment MMA-LA.
  18. WOTLA 7- “Light heavyweight Title Challenge” Event Preview Hello everyone Pat Miletich here , signing in to preview WOTLA’s upcoming event this Saturday evening. The card is loaded with talent and the Light heavy’s will be the focus as there will be four preliminary bouts for a Title tournament on showcase. Before we get the preview started I just want to mention that the Torment MMA Gym based here in LA has now jacked up the gym capacity so there are some new slots available for fighters who are in need of great quality training. You really can’t find a better gym in LA for sparring so stop by and check them out. Prelims Ronald “Legislator” Jnr (0-1-0) VS. Luke Planecloak (0-1-0) To start the show off we have the big boys stepping into the cage. Ronald a Brown Belt in BJJ will have to get this fight down to his realm on the ground. Jnr has a huge height advantage of 8 inches so he should use it to stay on the outside and avoid punches. Planecloak is Boxer/Wrestler with a lot of power. I would give Luke a advantage on the feet where I would see him trying to keep the bout. This fight may come down to who has the best clinchwork. Rodrigo “Puffpuffpass” Reefer (0-2-0) Vs. Rick “Byotch” James (1-1-0) Next up we have two middleweights going head to head in a battle of the greatest WOTLA nicknames. Rodrigo is looking for his first win and would love nothing more to leave with a dominating KO. Reefer has awesome boxing and will look to mix up his punches and try to get one of his power full haymakers landed on the button. James is coming off his first win with a 1rst round Submission victory. Rick a purple belt in BJJ has decent wrestling as well so Rodrigo will need to stuff any takedown attempt if he wants to get his first win. Bryan “Thunderfromdownunder” Carmichelle (1-1-0) VS. Ryan Ross (1-0-0) Back to the superheavyweight division for are next bout, Carmichelle has good Muay Thai as well as a solid wrestling base. Bryan will want to try and stay on the outside and use his strikes to keep Ross at bay. Ryan Ross is a very good wrestler who is very strong he will look to control the fight and gain a takedown early. Ross will be making his WOTLA debut in this bout. Timothy Archer (1-2-0) VS. “The Descent” Incan Bulb (1-0-0) Archer is a BJJ Brown Belt and with a lot of confidence. I don’t see him wanting to exchange with his opponent so don’t be surprised if he where to pull guard in this bout. Bulb is a very well rounded fighter with a ton of potential. If he can keep the fight on the feet I see him wearing down Archer and scoring a possible KO of the night performance. Takanori Gomez (1-0-0) VS. Ronald “Rowdy” Rousey (1-0-0) In the Bantamweight division we have two prospects squaring off. Gomez a solid boxer with quick hands he will want to mix up his combo’s and score points with his power full takedowns. Rousey has the advantage in wrestling which he will use to try and score some takedowns of his own. The winner will look to jump up the ladder at 135 and get in the title picture. Main Card “Kaoz” Kalazzar Kavazian (1-1-0) VS. “Las manos De Oro” Angel Chavez (2-1-0) Kicking off the main card will be a fight between two of the orgs more sound up and coming strikers. “Kaoz” is coming off a KO of the night performance in his WOT debut. Kavazian has good boxing as well as a pretty good Muay Thai game. Chavez a wonderfull boxer is also coming off a impressive debut in WOTLA. Angel also has a granite chin which he will need in this fight. Light heavyweight Title Challenge Tournament Match 1 Azazle “The Red Bulll” Aroman (2-0-0) VS. “Manic Psyhco” Giovinco Del Marquesa (2-0-0) Azazle is a wrestler with decent striking knowledge. If he can get the fight to the ground he may be able to get into some good postions and wear down his opponent. Giovinco is a dangerous Muay Thai specialist with a good chin. Both of these guys had great debuts in the WOTLA cage. One thing to note Aroman may have a slight bleeding problem if Del Marquesa can land enough significant strikes he may open Aroman up in this one. Match 2 Magic Wasp (2-1-0) VS. Alex “Nailed” Your Momma (4-0-0) Magic Wasp has very good wrestling and a Purple belt in BJJ. He also has a lot of heart if he can score a takedown he may give Alex some trouble. Alex is coming in with a impressive record as well as a top notch team. This guy has very heavy hands and if he lands a clean shot it could be lights out. Your Momma is gonna be a tough draw for anyone at light heavy watch out for your Momma. Match 3 “The Animal” Antonio Silva (3-3-0) VS. “Lihava” Liha Rekka (4-0-0) Silva is a powerfull striker with a good standup game. With a solid Muay Thai background expect him to use the clinch in this bout a lot and try to stay away from the ground. His opponent Rekka is a very similar fighter with a even better Muay Thai background this fight looks to be a standup war. Then again you never know someone might surprise us all and try for a double leg. Match 4 Cock Daniels (1-0-0) VS. “Suga” Rashad Evans (6-1-0) Cock is a good wrestler with a very good gas tank. You can bet Cock will not wear down in this fight with his extremely good cardio. “Suga” is very experienced with 6 pro MMA fights but he can’t overestimate his opponent Saturday. Rashad a counter puncher will look to use his overall balanced Game and mix up his attack. Cock may have a experience disadvantage but looks to have a solid camp behind him so don’t be surprised if he pulls off the upset of the night. That is a wrap for now fight fans best of luck to all the fighters Saturday. Hayashi’s lounge is the place to be , make sure you break out the popcorn because there will be some entertaining fights on the card for sure ladies and gents.

  21. DPEF-11 Welterweight Grand Prix June 17th Hayashi's Lounge in Montreal Welcome ladies and gents, to another grand show in DPEF! This time, i'm writing about the Welterweight Grand prix, well, it's interesting to see whose going to win and get a shot at the title along with an better contract, but this time i'm writing about the 4 welterweight fights and the Title match instead of other fights, so lets not waste any time, down to the first match. Sonny "Razor" Boom (2-0-0) Vs Gregor "Dominator" Hansen (1-1-0) Okay, the first matchup on the card is between Sonny and Gregor, Sonny has last two fights by decision in the clinch, this guy has some amazing Muay Thai skills, and he ain't going to put it to waste in this fight, this one is going to be a big one in his career, heck, he'll probably get the belt if he keeps sticking to his game plan, now, onto his opponent Gregor Hansen, he'll want to slip in a submission, I think it'd be a great idea if he could pull guard in the clinch, this way he can lock in an triangle to get an submission win here, anyways, thats all for this match, down to the next match. Dan "The Beastman" Severus (3-0-0) Vs Ashton McKay (1-0-0) Okay! This is the second match in the card and it's between Dan "The Beastman" Severus and Ashton McKay, i'll start off with Severus, he is an AMAZING wrestler, he will try to take you down and fire away with his fists until your done for, he also had an win by an submission Via armbar, his two fights before that were wins by strikes, all in the first round, onto Ashton McKay, his another clinch fighter, he won his first fight by unanimous decision, keeping his opponent in the clinch for three rounds while firing away with strikes, lets see if he can do that again, here against Severus. Yukinari "Hibiki" Tamura (4-0-0) Vs Nicanor "Mang Kanor" Reyes (1-1-0) Up now we have two submission specialists pitting off against each other, both of these guys have the same gameplay: Taking their opponent down before trying to pull off a submission, but right now, I think the question i'll ask myself here is "Whose gonna' score the takedown first?" Even though it won't matter since they both can probably slip in some triangles, but despite that, it's still a better advantage for one of them. Xavier "The Chimpanzee" LeChimpanze (4-1-0) Vs "Truthless" Szeth Vallano (1-1-0) Another bout between two beasts ~ What more can we ask, LeChimpanze is an wrestler who completed the Tri-Bronze win triangle, 1 decision victory, 1 TKO victory and 1 Submission victory, he also won one more fight Via (T)KO, but lets see if he can bring down this Muay Thai Master, Szeth Vallano, as we move onto him- the first thing I notice about him is his deadly kicks, this guys kicks are killer, they could knock you out if they land cleanly, Xavier should keep himself far back and his head more far if he wants to win this one. Dexter "HitKid" Fabree (7-2-0) Vs Vito "Italiano" Ferrari (4-1-0) We have the main event up now! An titleshot bout between Fabree and Ferrari, i'll start off with Fabree, Fabree is an real mixed martial artist, wins by submission, TKO and Decision are not estranged to him, he will do all he can to try and beat Vito, an standup beast who'll try to keep this fight standing through the whole thing now- lets see who wins the title at the show, tune in for DPEF 11 to find out! Big thanks To Marko Johnson for providing this splended Preview.

We also have a 135lb. # 1 contender matchup on the card that will be fireworks from start to finish. Here is a look at the Events Main Card. Heavyweight Grand Prix Match 1 Frank Mir (2-0-0) Vs. Clarence "Cold Cocked" Adams (1-1-0) Starting off the Main Card we have are first Prelimanary round match in the Grand Prix. Mr.Mir has a very good all around game with good boxing as well as good wrestling and BJJ. At 2-0 he has not yet tasted defeat so it will be intersting to see how he reacts if he gets taken out of his comfort zone at all. "Cold Cocked" is a boxer who is coming off a beautiful Left Hook KO in his last fight. Clarence also has a solid Chin to go with his great boxing and will look to keep the fight standing. If the fight goes to the ground i would lean towards Mir getting the win, but if Clarence can keep it standing he may be able to pull the slight upset. Heavyweight Grand Prix Match 2 "KO Machine" Santan Suave (3-1-0) Vs. Claudio Rocchi (1-1-0) Next up We have the "KO Machine" stepping into the cage for his second Dawg Pound fight. Santana is a very powrefull fighter with Excellent Muay Thai. He is coming off his first loss off his career and would like nothing more then to get back on track with a big KO. Rocchi is a very balanaced fighter with decent punches and kicks. He ended his last fight with a big Head Kick in the first round to pick up his first victory. Claudio Has a granite chin so this fight will be very interesting to see if the KO Machine can live up to his name here. This one could be a stand up clinic i would be shocked to see it go past the first. Bantamweight #1 contender bout. "Deutscher Karrier" Gamer Kuroky (3-1-0) Vs. Obi Wan King (5-3-0) Are next fight will be a battle for a title shot with the winner getting the golden opputunity to take the Vacant Bantamweight title. Gamer is very determind when he steps into the cage As shown in all his wins as he has won them all by UD. I expect Kuroky to take the fight to the clinch for the most part where he will use his Solid Muay Thai to control the pace of the battle. Obi is a good boxer and wrestler and i can see him staying on the outside using his size to pick apart his foe. If he can keep it on the outside there is no surpise what his gameplan is, he will look to unload that big right hand and score his second KO. If Gamer can keep the fight in the Clinch i see him winning by UD once again, but one slip up and Obi Wan could catch him. Heavyweight Grand Prix Match 3 "The Titan" Jason Sydal (4-1-0) Vs. Johnny Numbnuts (3-1-0) In the third Heavyweight fight of the tourny we have two wrestlers matched up. Sydal Is the more dominate wrestler so i can see him taking the first TD attempt. "The Titan" is a brawler with a good gas tank so if the fight goes the distance he will be ready for it. Numbnuts is a more balanced fighter so he may want to keep the fight on the feet for his best performance. He has a big heart but if he cant stuff Sydal's takedowns his heart may not matter in this one. For Johnny he will need to stay on the outside, And if he does get taken down try not to be to aggresive and possibly get a sub in but it will be tough with Jason's wrestling credentials. Heavyweight Grand Prix Match 4 Marko Fedor (3-1-0) Vs. Ivan Ilic (2-0-0) In the Main event are last Grand Prix match will take place with the final two competittors. Marko has very explosive hands and is very well trained in Boxing. All of his wins have been first round KO's and you better believe his gameplan will not be much then his past ones. He is matched up against Ivan Ilic who also has very Heavy Hands. Ivan is coming off a KO of the Night performance in his Dawg Pound Debut. If you are coming to the fights to see someone get Knocked the F*** out are Main Event is sure to have you leaving with a smile. The winner here will be a heavy favorite for the rest of the Grand Prix but as we all know in MMA anything can and will happen. Prelims Chad "Money" Mendes (3-1-0) Vs, Court Meyers(3-1-0) Kim Tysse (1-0-0) Vs. Nash "The Smasher" Smith (1-0-0) Hector "Muerte" Gonzales (0-1-0) Vs. Carl "The Natural Born Runner" Condit (1-0-0) Tyson Tebow (1-1-0) Vs. Dino Cucchiaro (0-1-0) Dyson Edwards (0-2-0) Vs. Kron "The King" Silva (0-1-0) Alright fight fans thats all for know hope to see a great night of action tomorrow night, good luck to every one on the card. Pat miletich Signing out!!!
