  1. Finally- a semi-decent headline for a UFC card in the UK. Hope this one dosen't go the same way of the last couple of announced headliners.
  2. Good shout! Though they'll probably tell you to get up at 7am to watch MOTD on Sunday morning.
  3. Make sure to ready my article on Draft Picks- I spent far too much time on that for everyone to ignore it
  4. The Vikings were some of the hardest SOBs in history. This is an accepted fact. Kenwyne Ryans' awesome fight org, the Viking Fighting Championships has been showcasing fights between similarly hard SOBs for a little over two months now. The org's popularity has fluctuated wildly, and at times we have been second only to the all conquering Sisu FC. (Though we just promoted a duff card, so we're currently in a rut.) Now, I want to throw the Viking challenge out to the people. If you're not a member of the VFC, you're a pathetic thrall. A slave. Your record dosen't matter, cos you haven't stepped into the VFC cage and fought like a beserker, like a Viking. But I don't want thralls to answer this challenge. I want Dreng, young, unproven warriors, who are willing to step into the cage against each other and experienced VFC fighters with a 4 figure contract on the line, and a shot at a VFC title. If you want to be a Viking, here's how your going to do it. Step 1: Post in this thread. We're looking for fighters in all weightclasses. Step 2: Accept the contract offer. Don't moan about the pay, everyone participating in this is being offered a relatively low contract, but the rewards will be great. Step 3: Wait. As soon as we have enough participants, the first round of elimination bouts will take place over 1 or 2 events. Step 4: Win! Did you manage it? Congratulations, you're halfway to the big contract. Step 5: Win again, this time against an Oegn, an experienced warrior who's been part of the VFC for some time. Step 6: If you won, accept the contract offer waiting in your inbox and grin at a job well done. Step 7: Wait. There will be some last elimination bouts to make sure that only one fighter from each divison earns the TITLE SHOT. Everyone who wins the two fights will earn the 4 figure contract. Step 8: Win your title shot. Now you're a proper Viking! Current competitiors
  5. Pain olympics- you sick bastard... On Eduardo's injury- two seasons ago in the EPL vs. Birmingham- doctors think that if he hadn't been wearing his sock his foot would have come off... yep, it was pretty bad. There's this rough still- I'm going to find it now- of his bone sticking out through the heel of his sock. http://img.metro.co.uk/i/pix/2008/02/eduar...dAI_450x300.jpg - point of impact http://thesightisinend.wordpress.com/2008/...ctures-warning/ - decent article on the whole thing, including that last picture. Just for those curious but too lazy to look it up. I'm not going to post the video. That's a step too far.
  6. I don't mean in general- UFC is the better game overall- it's the way their faces look when you connect with the haymaker that's so impressive.
  7. Anyone else playing Fight Night Round 4 on PS3? Just got it and I'm loving the facial crumple graphics- puts UFC 09 to shame.
  8. Yes, I'd like this added in the near future, def. by the end of September.
  9. http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=14422 John Hathaway, the Infliction WW Champ, is seeking 1 sponsor. Hit me up!
  10. I give people 3-4 days. If the events a couple of weeks away I'll give them longer. At least 2 weeks. You never know if they've just gone on holiday, or are going through a tough time. You don;t want to use managers who are actually active, but are AFK.
  11. I concord. It's annoying when you have to put shitty main events on because someone refuses the fight offer.
  12. It's not just back. Its back.... IN BLACK!
  13. With the Infliction belt firmly around his waist, John Hathaway has re-signed with the org for a further five fights. His management team released the following statment. "I am very pleased to be able to remain at Infliction. I am also very pleased to be the 170ibs champion- I'm glad the fans got to see a finish, and I hope to bring the more. All credit to Bepo for making it an entertaining fight. No, I don't know who I'll be fighting next, but whoever it is but be scared of the Pommy!"
  14. Yeah! Wooo! http://www.sherdog.com/videos/recent/Coutu...n-the-Game-2044
  15. http://uk.videogames.games.yahoo.com/blog/article/6314/ < Confirmed by Yahoo. Definetly getting that!
  16. /me agrees. Can this just... blow over now? Attliction is old news. I don't agree with the $5 for 4 days or whatever it was sponsorships, and I certainly disagree with the 0 for 30 days sponsors, but he's trying to pay off his loan to close the company. This is a good thing, seeing as no-one likes it. I won't judge how good he is at running an org till he forms one. At that point we'll see whether he's equally noobish at fight org management as he was at company managment.
  17. Nah, they've only fought for my org. I've booked the fight, waiting for their response. I was waiting for your go ahead before I confirmed it. Thanks!
  18. I was planning on setting me org's first title defense for two weeks time, at VFC 12. However, the game will not allow me to make the 155ibs fight for the title, despite the fact that it features the champion, Magnus Svenstroem. Any insight as to why this isn't working?
  19. Chuck's on a hiatus. I beleive he's returning to MMA next autumn, though that's from a very old report.
  20. Yeah. I foolishly forgot to save my first week's line up so I have nil points. Which system are you on? I use Yahoo.
