  1. I think it would be great, but too much money. This is probably a small profit game, and it would cost, I don't know, definitely hundreds of thousands of dollars if not up into the millions to do, just isn't possible financially.
  2. This game is very slow paced anyways, I just can't imagine doing anything to make it even more so. I wouldn't change anything about the current injury system, I think it's a perfect balance of real time & realism and fun.
  3. I have to say I totally agree with the losing VIP status feature. This game is great & fun, primarily because everything is run by actual people. But, there is nothing to stop someone from creating an account one minute, going VIP 2 hours later, & creating a company that night, when they are completely unready & too inexperienced to do such a thing. The fact that we all rely so heavily on other real people to run orgs correctly, produce good nutritional products, etc, makes it too important for people to not have serious penalties for failure. This game depends on people joining & continuing to play this game. Allowing one person to go VIP & create several companies that if ran incorrectly can really dampen the overall experience of a player with no real consequences, would simply cost too many memberships just to protect 1 person's $30. 1 bad org & gym owner could probably cause, I don't know maybe 10 or more people to get fed up & say forget this game it just doesn't work. That's a risk too great to all of us, to chance losing this great game just to save a few people $30, not to mention the gameplay for those of us who are dedicated would be greatly degraded.
  4. The contracts on this game are simple, & I don't think making them more complicated would resolve anything. But, I am sure everyone has experienced, either as an org owner or a manager, a major conflict & dispute with someone over a contract. Managers that refuse to ever fight, & org owners that are incompetent and/or careless. I suggest an Athletic Committee made up of either 15 or so VIP members that could be voted in by other VIP members, or the committee could simply be ran by the admin of the game. Contract disputes could be brought before the committee, & they would make a ruling that would be final. The example I give is a personal one. I had a fighter that is part of an organization that is either incompetent or completely careless. It is a new org, so I have tried to cut them a lot of slack, but enough is enough. The first fight offer I got, I accepted. The problem was, despite having all new people pretty much, the owner never sent out any reminders for people to make sure they made weight & scheduled flights to make it to the fight in time. My opp, being new himself, didn't know you had to fly your fighter to a fight. So it was a NC, a total of 3 NC on the whole fight card, 2 for missed flights & 1 for a fight between 2 heavyweights that was scheduled at 205. New org, I moved on. Next he resent me the same fight offer, but I noticed the fighter was now a free agent. Again, let it slide, new org, so I let the org owner know. Next, he sent me an offer to fight a guy who was 13-3 I believe and had a tremendous skill set, my guy was new & 1-0. I let him know no way I could win so I rejected, now I am getting irritated. Next, he sends me an offer to fight a guy who weighs 245lb, my guy weighs 205, and the fight offer was at 205 to take place in 7 days. I am really irritated now & let the org owner know there was no way this guy could make weight so the fight would be a NC, not that I wanted to fight a guy 40 lbs heavier than me anyways. Next, another offer to fight a guy who was something like 14-7 with a great skillset, another rejected offer. Next, an offer to fight a guy whose manager hasn't logged into the game in 3 weeks. The fighters matched up though, so I accepted, and got ready for my 2nd fight, that of course never happened because the manager never logged back in to accept the fight. I am very familiar with MMA in real life, & the org owner would be in violation of his own contract at this point, because the fighters have rights too. So, these situations don't seem to happen a lot, but when they do it's a real problem. A person who plays for free and only has 4 fighters, can you imaging the frustration of 1 of them, or even worse 2, being bound to an organization like this? So that's my proposal to fix these problems, hope you guys agree or have a better idea.
  5. No need to punctuate or go into details, I simply asked how to leave a contract. I don't want to go into the 6 different fight offers or so that I've been sent which were all crazy, just wanted a simple answer to a simple question. I don't have any other examples of you "crusing the noob section", this one was enough. You went off on me for no reason, which I don't care I love this game so I'll be playing no matter what. But, a person who is really new or lukewarm about it may just say to hell with it if everyone acts like an ass to them, & considering we all play a game that depends on other people playing, that kinda thing can screw us all. A proper response would have been just to answer the question, at most you could have then emphasized that I got a signing bonus to join this org so I should honor it, the org owner can lose real money if his business goes under, etc.
  6. Yeah true, but hey what can you do about the no hopers, just cut them loose as soon as you identify them. It won't matter in the long run, I am going to lose of course with my current fighters at one point, especially when the competition increases. But for now, it pisses me off. However, I wouldn't change it, makes the game more realistic. If we are creating fighters that "want" to be pro fighters & not necessarily "are" on the level of a pro fighter, I think it's cool. Means we will sometimes get a natural Jon Jones type guy every now & again too, so you gotta take the good with the bad I guess.
  7. Ahh, seems their are assholes everywhere you go. First of all, I posted this to find out what was going on, didn't know it was a bug, asshole. And second, yes I have no respect for this org owner, he has fucked up in absolutely every single way one can (in real life I could get out of the contract anyways because HE would be in breach of contract, org owners aren't gods & can't do anything they want, asshole, and I have been sent about 5 fight offers, 4 of which I had to turn down & then point out to the owner the reason why, like my opp weighing 245 lbs & and the owner trying to schedule a fight at 205lb with my 205lb guy which occurrs in 7 days, & I don't feel like going into the other 4 instances but this org won't be around too long because of the owner's incompetance anyways, asshole, but why should I wait around another 30 days, 90 days, etc when in real life the contract would be void & this is supposed to be a realistic game.) Not to mention the fact that you are on a forum for new people who are trying to get help with the game, but apparently you are such a loser you just cruise the "Noob" section to make fun of new people trying to learn the game, obviously your life is very limited. But considering I am 18-0 as a newbie manager, I don't think I need too much advice, especially from you, so try cruising the "General Discussion" forum & troll there, asshole.
  8. I have a fighter whose contract inactivity clause is now showing zero. I think the org owner changed it if that's possible because it was 30 days. So needless to say my inactivity, even though it is only at 2 days, is still past the clause, but how can I leave the contract? I expected a new option to suddenly appear that said something like "leave contract" but nothing has come up, the only buttons are save (for how many days you would like between fights) and anonymous feedback. How can you leave once inactivity has come into play? Thanks
  9. I do agree with you. I am very new to this game but I think contracts have to be taken seriously if you are to have a serious, realistic MMA game. The only problem I have is that I have had a problem with 1 org owner, apparently a new org owner, & I think in real life I could probably get out of my contract with him but cannot on this game. First, he organised the first fight card of the org but didn't remind or let any new guys know to make sure they could make weight & fly in for their fight if need be. So, 3 NC on the first card. My opp didnt fly in. New guy mistake, I really had no problem with that. Then he resets my fight with the same opp, but I had to notice he was a free agent now. Being new to the game I advised him of this since I assumed a free agent wouldn't make flight arrangments etc on their own. So then he resent me a new fight offer. This fight was for a guy who weighed 240 lbs & the fight was at 205 lbs, in 7 days! So I advised him my opp couldn't possibly make that weight in time, so he sent me a new offer. This time I got a manager that hadn't logged into the game in weeks, & of course he never accepted the fight & I got prepared for a second time for a fight that didn't happen. I think something should be done to help out in certain situations, perhaps maybe like an "Athletic Commission" type deal set up, perhaps consisting of either VIP players or the Admin, that could make rulings in some situations to help keep the realism as high as possible on the game.
  10. Hey everyone, I have posted once about morale on here & how I can get it up. A couple replies so far. My problem is, I am very new to this game, starting I think on 01/16/12. My current record is 15-0, & I don't want to lose a fight because of my morale. I feel like, although I am still very new, that I can really get somewhere on here. Things are going so well so far, but my damn morale just keeps dropping for a few of my fighters. I have them in clean gyms, try to make sure they at least have a little extra money and all that. But I keep hearing that I need to buy lots of new clothes, & I just don't have the funds for that & keep my guys in a $600/week gym too. I have 9 fightrs, is there anyone that could maybe help out with some clothing donations or anything? I could use the help for sure. I hate to ask I feel like having a good record people will say I don't need the help & move on, but I hope not. Anything, sponsorship or anything at all will help. I also have observed that it appears my 2 fighters with the lowest morale are 2 guys I have been training like crazy. Their energy levels have gotten to a little lower than 80% in training, does that affect morale? Anyways I appreciate anybody that can help. Thanks

    Morale

I have a lot of MMA experience but am new to this game. I have a current record of 14-0, minus a no hoper I sacked who lost his only 2 fights very quickly, but despite my success I am having a hell of a time keeping morale up. I've checked the gyms, they are clean. I've bought new clothes, which seems to only give a slight boost. My fighters have never lost & fight frequently but it still is slowly dropping, & seems I see a lot of people with practically zero morale. How can I stop this? I also make sure they don't run out of money or anything like that. I don't have much money being so new so I haven't been able to buy really good clothes but still I am worried, don't want to ruin my record because of morale. Thanks
