Fox's Lounge (http://mmatycoon.com/gympublic.php?gmid=2230) is a renovated gym in NY. Fox's Lounge started as a $100 gym when Fox Jacobson took over many months ago. Since, it has upgraded to a middle tier $650 gym with great success, and now it has upgraded again to a $1000 gym with only elite coaches. The place is always clean, the equipment is always brand new, and there are great coaches with small class sizes. As soon as I see how many clientelle will stay, I will add even more coaches to make class sizes smaller. It’s my signature win so far. I unfortunately lost my first fight versus Izzy Stradlin. It was a new pup under the big lights kind of thing, you dig? Ever since then I’ve come out focused. I beat journeyman Comanche Todd despite being an underdog. Jackson Matthews and I were evenly favored, but I knocked him out, gave him his first loss and sent him into early retirement. Roofer was 6-0 before he got to me. He was favored in this fight as a fellow Muay Thai expert. Apparently, he only knew how to kick though. I got him in the clinch every round, and after that, it was over. I was disappointed I didn’t get a stoppage though. That welt over his eye was pretty horrendous. Another doctor, and that fight would have been stopped. You and your brother came in to INY together. Now he is gone. Thoughts? It feels weird with him gone. We came in together and hoped to be champions together. He felt he was lowballed when he got his offer to stay after being 7-0. Frankly, I don’t blame him. The landscape of INY has changed since we first arrived here. There’s less people with similar experience as me than there was when I got here. When I came in, there was a lot of talent around my experience level. Now, they’re gone, and most of the talent recruited is from a higher experience level. Do you plan to re-sign with INY? It depends. I have three fights left on my contract. The fights already seem to be drying up because of what was previously mentioned. There aren’t a lot of boys around my experience level. Ask me again when my contract is up, and I can better answer you. What of your brother’s rivalry with Wellman? Do you have any beef with him? What happened between Wellman and my brother had nothing to do with me. I steered clear of that whole situation. I’m happy with my situation with Fox Jacobson, and I’m happy knowing I won’t get cut mid-contract a la Marcus Williams. What’s next for you? I don’t know. It goes back to the whole “fair fights” gig. I have a fight offer that I just accepted. We’ll see.

The opponent ranking difference between your manager and mine is almost negligible. It's about 40. Yet, the fact remains that your manager's historic record has two more wins and 26 more losses. I did not misspeak. Two more wins, twenty six more losses. You say that my manager sucks? He may, but what does that say about your manager? The fact of the matter is this. I have more hype than you. I'm ranked higher than you. I'm more popular than you. For you to think you deserve to be higher than me on the card should make you qualify to go into a mental institution.

Mel Turd: I meant no disrespect to you Mr. Smith. My interviewer misquoted me. I was mentioning the fights above me on the card, but never mentioned where I thought I should be on the card. Do I think I should be main eventing? No. Smith and Huxley both have higher rankings than me, more hype, and are battling for the spot as the #1 contender. I'm not that naive. I'm currently ranked 27th in INY. Stark is ranked 99, but that's only because I put him there. Had I not beaten him, he'd be right up where I'm at. Meanwhile, for the Saunders/Wellman Jr fight we have a guy ranked 32 and 59. If Junior loses, he's sitting at .500. Then, also above my fight, there's a sub .500 Gaggle (4-5), ranked 120, and Miles, ranked at 106. Now not only as a promoter, but as a fan, what would people want to see more? As a promoter I'd want to see the Turd v. Stark II fight to get the crowd amped for the main event of Smith v. Huxley.

Report from MMAUniverse: Fox Jacobson fighter Mel Turd was reportedly very upset after seeing his position on the TUF 2 card. On the card, the Turd (5-0) v. Stark (4-1) fight is the first fight after the 135 division finishes all of their fights. He fights before Gaggle (4-5) v. Miles (5-3), Saunders (8-3) v. Wellman Jr. (8-7), and Smith (8-3) v. Huxley (8-1). Turd was quoted as saying, "I get no respect in Immortals. Stark apparently doesn't get any respect either. Stark's only loss was to me, this is a big rematch, and we're barely better than the new 135s? I call bullshit!" This leaves two major questions to be answered following the October 22nd event. First, will Mel Turd beat Stark to improve to 6-0 and gain the respect he feels he deserves? Second, will this effect future contract negotiations for Turd? After the Stark fight, Turd has one fight left on his contract, and could possibly deal a huge blow to Immortals by walking away as a potential 7-0 title contender. All we can do now is wait for a potential response from Mr. Steel and look forward to Turd v. Stark II on Monday!

Sorry to revive this, but I've had the same thing happen. I've seen that coaches are satisfied but think their wage could be better. It shows the morale bar as being full. When I give them a raise, the morale drops. It also seems like coaches want raises way, way, too quickly. I had a guy go from 0.0 to 0.1 in one of the categories (MT maybe), and he was satisfied but wanted a raise.

He says that Marku is nothing. Dontae is hoping, begging and pleading for the opportunity to face Marku. Dontae believes he has the ability to knock Marku out. If Brunno doesn't put either Marku or Dontae in a fight, Dontae is begging matchmaker Dean Holliday for the opportunity to shut Marku's trap.

Fox Jacobson: I am speaking today on behalf of Dontae Sheldon. He was very upset with how the fight went. We landed more strikes than the opponent, but unfortunately, most of those were in one round, causing Dontae to fall 29-28 on all scorecards. If the fight went a little differently in round 2, this could have been a different outcome. Round 2 was closer than people give Dontae credit for. Immediately after the fight, Dontae and I talked and found some holes in our gameplan. We will be making proper adjustments, and I really believe given a rematch, Dontae could pull out the victory. We were big underdogs, but I believed Dontae could win. I put money down on it. We've proven that Dontae is a force to be reckoned with. At the beginning, anyone would have been eager to face Dontae because of his mental lapse. Now, I'm not so sure. We're eager to find out who our opponent for next week is, and we're ready to prove that Dontae is a great fighter, that he is a winner. Thank you.

We can do the Sakers fight too, I don't care. I don't know how Worthington is at all because I haven't used my sliders on him, he has yet to fight for me!

I didn't see the RP part, so my bad, thought you were just bashing on Dean because you didn't like the article. Since Worthington isn't my created fighter, how about, if the conditions are write after Wednesday, we push for a Sheldon/Dexler fight for TUF? I know it wouldn't be in our hands, but would still be a good fight.
