  1. I just came back from a long vacation, and so I lost all of my fighters. I am back now, and I created a few fighters in need of an organization. They were recently created between the ages of 22 and 25, and are based in L.A. but if the contract offer is worth it, they are willing to travel if need be. My manager I.d. is 79055.
  2. Except that this would actually represent something irl... As pretty much everyone on here agrees.
  3. This is actually what my idea was supposed to represent. Not genetics. But being raised in an athletic environment more so then your average kid. But others have made good points about genetics. So my idea could represent a combination of both.
  4. I'm just going to throw this out there, as this idea has not been refined. Here is an example of my idea. A certain fighter of mine has a son, who then joins mma tycoon. At creation he gets a small skill bonus (like maybe 5 to 15% random and possibly including hiddens). This skill bonus could also be determined by the skills of the father. The better the fighter of the father, the better he can teach his son. This would be like in the real world, where a child growing up being raised by an mma fighter will very likely start his training at a very young age as a child, knowing nothing but mma, compared to a child growing up with out a mma father, who may not be introduced to the world of mma until his late teens, or because of a lack of guidance joins a Tae Bo class thinking that he's learning how to fight, because he didn't have any parents who knew better. Take me for example, I didn't know about mma until I was about 22, and in my mid teens I joined tae kwon do. By the time I actually got interested in mma it was really to late to join a mma class (because of financial issues.) Had my parents known about mma, they would have started me in mma classes instead of tae kwon do. This could be a rare event. Something like how once in awhile someone gets a message that's let's you know the iq of one of your fighters. Maybe on somewhat rare occasions you may get a message stating that one of your fighters has a son that's ready to join mmatycoon, and then would provide you a link to the fighter creation screen. Take my idea and modify it to best fit into mma tycoon, but don't reject the whole of it
  5. I voted for 155. I also would like there to be at least more then 1 weight division.
  6. I was like "Shit!!! How did he find out?" Haha that's a good one. I really thought you caught me!!!.... whoooooooiiiieeeeeeee!!!!
  7. 1. I don't want no one hiring my fighter and bringing him out of retirement possibly destroying his win loss record. 2. I don't want to keep my retired fighter. 3. I don't want to spend 90 days worth of real money to make sure that no one unretires him.
  8. For people like me who don't like coming up with original names. There could be a name generator for different cultures, nations, groups of people, etc.

  10. Plus it's not very realistic. Fighters aren't traded by their managers in real life. Fighters choose their managers, not the other way around. The way fighters in the fa list are given to only the best manager simulates this reality. Imo...

    Female Fighter

So an increase in 5% of total in game managers would be enough for what would probably only be about 5% of the game anyway.

    Female Fighter

I see no problem with having women fighters. Orgs having a hard time finding fighters just means there are to many Orgs in the game. Even if there was only an increase of about 5% (that 5% being female manager's, that would be enough, because female weight classes won't be very common. Just like irl, many Orgs don't have weight divisions for women, because women irl only make a small % of all mma fighters. It would probably be about as common as the kick boxing divisions. I would probably have at least one female in my fighter roster.
  13. I buy clothes and let the get to 100 before I change them, or a few days before a fight. Maybe I should stop doing that...
  14. Changing clothes every day seems to me, to much micro management. At least we don't have to make sure our fighter brush their teeth every day or take a shower every day. Why can't we just buy the clothes and they can change automatically?
  15. He's set to full time training. I have seen no pops during the sessions where he didn't lose any energy.
  16. Once his energy did drop a little bit. But this last training session his energy went back up to 100%
  17. My fighter Trent Allen http://mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=196972 has been training all week, and yet his energy is 100. So either the bug is letting him train with no energy loss, or the bug is preventing him from training, even though his training schedule has him training twice a day at my gym.

    Standing Submissions

For those worried about submissions from the clinch making bjj overpowered, it doesn't have to be. First off standing submissions do happen irl mma, so since this is a mma simulator, there should be no reason why it should not be implemented eventually. Secondly, standing submissions are rarely attempted (except maybe the standing guillotine) and rarer yet, are they successful; especially the flying armbar. likewise, if implemented into this game, standing submissions can be rare as well.

    Two IQ tests?

(insert name here) stubbed his toe getting out of the shower. After talking about his experience to an MMA radio show, the popular opinion is that HE'S A BIT DIM but in a loveable way. The opposite of bright would be dim. When one is referred to as bright, it is usually in reference to someone being clever or intelligent. Someone who is dim, is not bright. "That guy is a dim-wit". Wit is intelligence. A dim wit is one lacking intelligence. His wit is dim. So therefor, the popular opinion is that the guy ain't smart.

    Two IQ tests?

I got rid of a fighter because I received a message like that. Why would any intelligent human being think that that was something the folks listening on their radio would care about at all? I pictured my fighter wearing a safety helmet while telling his story to the radio show host. Or someone like Joe Dirt from the movie Joe Dirt.
  21. Losing by decision, a fight you know you should have won, wouldn't be demoralizing at all imo. It would make you angry as hell, but not demoralized. But losing by Ko would make me hate myself for awhile.
  22. I meant clinch aggressive.... coincidence that we both had our aggressiveness set at 65 clinch??
  23. and yet was able to land 3 of 3 body punches. http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=599856
