  1. losing and losing can be something completely different. And if you enter a game, get thrown against something that you absolutely can't win with no possible means is more than frustrating. And I can't blame anybody if he loses interest in such a flawed system. It is like entering a ring with bribed judges and a bribed referee. The whole system works against you. There is no competition, there is no fight. There is no game, because in a game you would have a small chance of winning. So fuck this stupid realism discussion and just do it the unrealistic way. And all the shame and disrespect on those that enjoy taking the wins from new managers in QFC and defend the flaws in the system that some cowards abuse.
  2. Me, the one fighter who is one of those 4 in the tripple Elite clinchwork session.
  3. +1 all those illiterate that think they are getting screwed over should learn to read what is in the contract, and should learn to think what they are about to lose. Where is the problem if somebody offers you a low contract for 30 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, like you are about to lose that 100000 billion sponsorship that you had in the back. As if you would lose anything by using that free sponsorship slot that was rotting on your fighter anyway. Now when you are able to read, read the sponsorship contract, and decline in a mannered way. If you can't read then you get what you deserver. And what you get is nothing, and Oh boy, what you lose is nothing.
  4. does it do the age modified values based on days, weeks, or years? Because it seems like my newest creations are a bit behind compared to the other 18 year olds
  5. Nobody has to be a telepath to see that you are going trough this posts with a mindset to find every single mistake and jump on it. It is natural aggressiveness in the clash of different opinions. I was in enough podium debates to know how it works, and it works better when you have a debatte going on, and not a written piece. It is pretty obvious what you do, because one can see your mistakes. Because obviously you thought you had find a statement of mine that you could nail as a mistake and you jumped ahead 2 steps at once. You attacked before you even fully understood the one simple statement and conclusion I made. Where in the hell did I say you needed 2 companies to fund a private gym OMG.... so tune back the search for the mistakes, and tune up the effort to try and understand what others a writing without jumping to conclusions they never made. Because all I said is that I have a problem with gyms funded by a secondairy company. Now nowhere did I mention anything about the private gyms that arent funded by a secondairy company. Now you jumped to the conclusion that by not mentioning them, I would think they could not exist, and ..... you are so wrong. (that was me on an passive aggressive mode showing you the mistakes you made and trying at the same time to attack your general ability to discuss and draw logical conclusions from the facts you have, thus undermining your credibility )
  6. Multiplying it by 9 rather than 12 is enough for a starting gym.
  7. As a Gym owner you offer the cardio sessions for free. You have no costs involved for your gym. On the other hand, you can not ban the cardio training from your gym.... You missunderstood the whole concept or used a wrong vocabulary in your post. I think you should read the wiki again concerning training and cardio. Next you should visit some fighter building threads and learn why cardio is cheap and easy to train. You have to do some hours of reading in the noob section I think.
  8. double post. but to help you out, read it in a less aggressive state of mind, and analyse the statement and the conclusion like a mathematical or logical equation that represent 2 statements that have some link. I thought we were talking here about unfairness. Realism is an entire other field we should not get involved here, or we are going to lose ourselves in endless discussions. That is the reason why I limited my statement before to one specific situation that is unfair. All the other situations can be created by everyone ingame and can be considered as fair. Invictus just missunderstood and took that limitation for a generalisation to everything.
  9. this suggests nothing of that sort. It wasn't an absolute statement, it was a statement that was clearly based on 2 singular facts.
  10. you would have the same benefit from a 12 elites, 85 member gym, than a 1 elite, 1 member gym. In conclusion all those that can not fund a private gym with their 2nd company can get the same quality training than those that have a 2nd company
  11. +1 with all the feeling of unfairness in the community, it would be acceptable for me to make 1on1 training just as bad as 3on1.
  12. has been talked about lots and lots in the appropriate forum, the "improvement section". It would add an amount of coding that is barely in relation to the added fun factor. Why do people crowd the general discussion with topics that are first: already been talked about and have been discussed second: in the complete wrong forum
  13. rofl, that girl actually got her fighter sponsored. Says much about those company owners, rofl
  14. And on top of that, if we knew all the factors that apply to that situation anyone but the programmar, will give you a roughly estimation that might be correct with a roughly estimate failure percentage of little less than 50%.
  15. So you actually say that franky is right, you don't need advertising on your first event?
  16. anyone cares to post a link when he found it. And as some already mentioned, a BJJ red belt will never make it to the top fighters in a mid term future. It is not like boxing, where you can make the KO several times before your enemy can set up his fight properly. You need the takedowns, you need the wrestling first. And how high can his wrestling be after half a year of BJJ. Now after training the wrestling high enough to get the "wonderfull boxer/proficient wrestler" builds on the ground, than he needs to train against the lucky 10 seconds KO punches, the 10 seconds KO head kicks, and then he might already have reached an age where he won't improve any more in training.
  17. Hi everyone, this mail continues some information about the short term organisation of events, and some general information on what I offer and what you can ask from me. On the other side I also mention what I expect from managers, and why. * As many of you could notice, I am trying to get the events more organised. The events all have some strange working "aliases". Like 3k med, 155/170. This means that I booked a 3k arena, with a ticket price medium, and I try to have the 155 and 170 weight class fighting in that event. In mid term, I will try to have every weight class her own events in order to get things more organised. It is easier to get everyone a similar rest time, and to find suitable enemies at the first glance of the weight class. * There are some minor flaws but I can, and will offer you a good solution. For example if some fighter goes inactive, or does not respond in an acceptable time frame, I cancel the fight and try to find something else. This could give some fighters rest times of 3, 4, 5 weeks. I usually have a look at the fighters bank account when I decide who needs a fight. But if you need money to train, you can always ask me. If you need a spot in an Elite gym, I might be able to open you one. Or if you need a fight, just mail me. If you had a bad loss, I am more than willing to arrange a rematch. My main concern is to keep you happy. Always have that in mind. * I also offer better contracts when you already have a fighter in my org, and ask me to sign a second fighter from you. Mail me, and mention the fighter that wants a contract, and the one that is already signed. * When I set up fights, I look very carefully. I usually check the fighters list, and look who didnt have a fight offer the longest. Than I look if there is another fighter with similar hype, and similar ranking arround. I usually find 3, or 4 suitable fighters and open all of them. Now I look at the skill sets. I never set up a brown belt against a white belt. The next thing I observe is the fighters ID number to see if the fighters were created at a similar time. This is to avoid some monster project fighter meeting a newly created freshman. When I have filtered all those missmatches out, I look at the bank account. The one that has less cash will get the fight offer. * Now when you understand that I filter through your fighters so carefully to set up a match, I expect from you to give me some explanation when you decline a fight offer. Or when you don't respond for 3 days. Because it always leaves a bad taste when you decline, and I do not understand why Now I hope my mail was interesting, and you have a more precise understanding how I try to run the org. And remember the main message. You can contact me at all times if you have any wishes or concerns, Respectfully, Reuter your professional business partner
  18. I do that myself, in some kind of way. And it should be forbidden. But it is fair in some wicked way because you could do it theoreticaly. But it is clearly unfair that you can have a clothing company selling stuff and using that money at the same time for a gym because you have 2 companies.
  19. what exactly did he do that deserves a hall of fame. I had 2 guys in his org, he was a nice guy, friendly, and got supreme event ratings in a very short amount of time. Like tons of other people. His manager achievements were not outstanding, nor were his org. Anyways, We should wait at least 1 year before somebody goes inactive and gets a spot in any hall of fame. First off, he could come back, and second, one can judge with some neutral distance.
  20. First round I am ok with, 2nd round too. third round seems a bit strange though. How high is your strenght? If your strenght is really low, you might not do dammage with your knees. And you had him 2 minutes in the clinch, and he had you 3 minutes under control. But if you have like remarkable strenght and good clinchwork, the third round should have been a draw giving you the whole fight.
  21. we are like 5k active managers here. I had spots open for days and nobody got them. It would be really strange luck if that happened to you, yet alone it happened twice.
  22. you completely messed up your sliders. You didnt even try to strike... Back to the last row, and repeat until you learned it
  23. I tried several times before I saw that on top of the page, there was a small green writing: Not enough balance. And yes, I have less than one dollar. But since when does it cost to send clothes from my manager to the fighters?
  24. Just assume that it was a missunderstanding. At least it seems to me that way. Edwards had a wrong understanding of why shiv declined.
