When a fighter gets increased stats from training, how will we know? Does it tell you somewhere?

I just joined a new gym and i'm hoping to get into some boxing sparring ASAP. Some of the people say I need to have to get a partner to participate in the sparring. How do i go about finding a partner to spar with, and how do I choose them afterwards? Thanks!

Hey everyone, i'm new to the game and was curious as to how you earn new belts. I am currently a white belt BJJ. Do you just have to train in something special at your gym to move up in belts? Thanks in advance! Great game by the way.
