I was wondering has our Tycoon community had many Non-Vip users who has made it to the upper echelon of Manager rankings? By top I mean >top 100. My personal best was top 10 few years ago and after some layout and rebuilding I´m intending to be #1, no PEDs, no VIP. I was just wondering which fighter has the record for most hype or popularity? Is there any fighter who has maxed out either one of the bars? If I had a fighter who would max out either one of the bars I would retire the guy immediately

Hi, It breaks my heart to make this decision, but I have decided to give away my fighters because I lack the time to take care of my fighters. I started military in January and I tried to play this game simultaneously, but it only lead to huge maintenance problems. I will start playing the game after I get back home in summer. I think Tonals best way to win this fight is to keep this one standing. Not that Tonal wouldn´t own the overall ground game, but im sure STP has been working his submission helluva lot. No need to take unnecessary risks.

I think this update is good if you want the game as realistic it can get. If you train how to defend a submission, you will train where you should get the pressure off, in which direction you should roll to avoid the armbar or leg lock etc. and therefore when you train how to avoid submissions, in the same time you will learn how to apply the submission correctly. Works vice versa. Im not saying that if you can defend every motherfuckin leg lock anyone can throw at you, you will be automatically awesome doing them yourself, but at least some amount offensive submission grappling and defensive submission grappling goes hand in hand.

Yes, this is what i was saying. I think it´s unrealistic that good ground guys don´t even have chokes on opponents who are raped to the point you could blow the guy down. Last time I checked, Nick Diaz has had a black belt since May 8, 2007. And can a guy who submitted Dan Henderson and submission specialist Chael Sonnen be called a purple belt skillwise?

Yeah, I agree that submissions are much less likely to happen in real life than knockouts. But comparing the real life pound for pound for its Tycoon counterpart, guys in the top do have at least some amount of submission victories. If you look the ground skills of top 10 guys in Mmatycoon, i think with that talent there should be at least a few lucky submissions or something. In real life it would be absurd to have a brown/black belt BJJ guy who hasn`t trained submissions at all and concentrated only on submission defence.

I just checked the pound for pound top 10 list and there weren´t a single submission victory in their combined record! I personally think that´s lame. I think the game should evolve at least a little bit towards supporting submission guys. Thoughts?

Nowadays there are tons of fighters, whose popularity bar is near the top end. This one guy (whose name i can´t remember) who fought in openweight class had huge popularity. I was wondering, who is the most popular fighter in mmatycoon at the moment. I think Jeremy Tonal will hit the cap in popularity if he continues his winning ways.

My best rank was 277 about a month ago, but im sure there are better non-vips out there. Non-vips please reply if you have hit top 100!

I was wondering, who is the best manager in game who isn´t a vip user. Is it even possible to get to the top 100 without purchasing vips? I think it would be cool, if there would be a tournament for non-vip users, and the winner would get free one-month vip membership. The tournament could be done regurlarly to encourage non-vip users to push their limits.
