  1. Still just furniture, though. When the game was actually active you were just a side piece and you know it. You're like that back up running back that's been on a winning team in the past. Then all the starters got traded off and you finally got your shot. Yeah, now you're the starter. But the team is awful lol. "Hey, this is my little brother, can he come too? Yeah, I guess." That was you lol
  2. Sure, you aren't. Because for the length of time this game has been around you've always just been a furniture personality. But for me, like other great Cesar's, I've traveled and conquered other foreign lands. Only making my way back for trips of spirit giving to the people that love and cherish my greatness. Again, you're just furniture lol. Feminine furniture apparently lol
  3. Projecting? Who talks like that? A little feminine aren't ya lol
  4. Yeah I actually remember now when Mike made that change to coaching. Just another example of a time that he had to do so much extra work just to try to make things work the way they should and not piss anyone off. It's a long list of things he's had to do 10x the amount of work just to try and improve the game while not causing tears to be shed. No wonder he disconnected himself from the game. I'd disconnect too if every time I wanted to improve the game 15 people were yelling at me that their lives would be over
  5. Back in the day when this game was active we had these arguments daily and they were heated. Time has proven me to be right. Sometimes, often times, the unpopular decisions are the correct decisions and sometimes the most popular decisions are not the best decisions. Because most of the time people place emphasis on their personal feelings and don't consider what is best outside of those personal feelings.
  6. Has nothing to do with the island. Has everything to do with making the game grow. Do away with the island. Find a balance on aging, training speed, etc... The training is broken. When the ONLY option for training is elite coaches then it's a problem. Why are the other coaches in the game? I played the game in the very beginning when people actually used mid level coaches. It only lasted a few months before the money laundering loopholes ended that. But I can attest, it was a funner experience vs generic elite coaches and no options. Mike can adjust the code to balance different aspects of the game. But no balancing has ever been allowed because people have always threatened to quit.
  7. Yes. Back to square 1. Not on a schedule. Only "as needed". If the game isn't broken and there's a good balance found then let it run and things turnover naturally as it always has. But I don't play the game. Maybe the game is perfect? I only gather my conclusion from the little bit of skimming through the forums. Doesn't seem very active. Not like what it once was, for sure. That sends up a red flag to me
  8. So essentially you're saying time is an issue? Almost like a "reset" is needed Resets are an opportunity to infuse growth into the game. Which from what I can tell should be at the top of the list for this game. Resets would also be an opportunity for the game to start fresh and fix the broken aspects. The integrity of the game has been compromised in so many ways. It's really a travesty to allow a game that has so much potential to fizzle out only because it was never optimized. I always thought Mike could eventually sell this game. He should have been doing resets from the very beginning to hone in the correct career path and progression of a fighter and manager and then eventually sell the game to a bigger game developer to market it and watch it explode. But I guess I had bigger visions than Mike ever had. Instead the game just hobbled along, deformed. Now it's in a welfare state The game was created broken and Mike never had the balls to make the hard decisions make it right. If he reset the game right now I guarantee you there would be many improvements between the way things are and the way he'd like them to be. Eventually after a couple fresh starts the game might get to a place where the game COULD run continuous. But in my 5 years of playing I never experienced that state.
  9. Fighter pacing can easily be adjusted. Resets needed to happen as critical errors in the game became apparent. For a decade Mike has simply stacked band aids on fatal wounds because of the exact argument you just made. "You can't do this to me...whaaa, whaaa, whaaa"
  10. This game with wipes could have a million active users by now vs having 100ish. How often does a game roll out and is perfect? Wipes, seasons, resets happen all the time. Mike's allowed himself to be bullied by the same small group of users for over a decade now. How embarrassing is that. I'd fix this game in a heartbeat. I'd do wipes and freebird, I'd laugh at you threatening to leave and anyone like you and show you the door. You're all punks
  11. Like Tarkov. Mike never had sense enough to fix the training system when only elite coaches are an option. So wipes are essential. Without wipes you have an uphill growth strategy. Acquiring new managers to the game is counter intuitive. With wipes you have built in entry points for new accounts to be created. Fertile grounds for growth. It's a proven strategy. Tarkov does it and most everyone will admit that the most exciting time in the game is directly after a wipe.
  12. Thanks for $$$. It will help out starting a stable. Probably create a gym and ghost for a couple months until they can fight.
  13. Haha glad Im back about like youre glad to have a jock itch back Im sure. Good to see some old managers still hanging around grinding it out.
  14. I dont think game complexity is as big of a deterrent to newer players as seeing 4x elite fighters that take real life years to develop. That is why Im looking at it from a game perspective and saying sparring should not raise your primary skills. Only keep them sharp. The goal should be to get away from the quad elite standard. Introduce some variability into the look of fighters and even another layer beneath the surface when it comes to a fighters actual current skill. By lowering a fighters primary skill level and reducing the speed at which it can be raised, you inevitably raise the importance of fighter build at creation. Which i think is very important to the game and accurate in a lot of ways to real life. Fighters typically come into the sport with a core set of skills and they typically maintain that base. Even as they expand their experience in other areas.
  15. Yep and that makes no sense. That is why i said that primaries should only be raised by secondaries. Sparring shouldnt raise your primary skills. Only keep them sharp. Primaries getting raised should only be residual effects of secondary training. ^^^ That is logical. A Black belt with no skills in BJJ isnt.
  16. Primary skills are suppose to be only an insight. An insinuation. 4x elite fighters take that layer of complexity from the game. Sparring should be similar to real life. A grueling experience. Something that wears on you. But something that really prepares you. But not something you do every day. Primary skills should be something that only grow from residual effects of training individual techniques of the craft (secondary skills). Primary skills should be looked at more so just as your capability in that area and how sharp you are at it. If youre a wonderful boxer then that is your capability. But how sharp you are depends on the recency of training. Mike Tyson is an elite boxer. But without sparring for a period of time his capabilities drop from 100% of elite to 80% to 70 to 60 to 50 and etc. etc..... but with sparring his skills could be raised back to 100% of his capabilities. So it creates layers of logic for training and game planning. Opponents would not see your fighters current status. You could appear to be at 100% of exceptional at boxing but beneath the surface really only be at 60%? You would have to make decisions on how to operate your training camps and begin tailoring your strategy from the moment the fights are booked. Currently its very basic. You get to 4x elite and youre done. Its not realistic and from a gaming standpoint kind of boring. There should be more movement in fighters skills. And not just upward movement. Fluctuating. Dynamic.
  17. Returning player. Went ahead and bought VIP for 3 months. Can someone give me some money so i can operate a gym and let my fighters sit for a month or two? Thanks in advance.

    an old idea

gyms are so generic. boring. elite coaches. nothing but. why even have skill levels for coaches at this point? is there a such a thing as a proficient, strong coach in the game? I don't think mikes vision for gyms ever materialized. i think that gyms were broken/out of adjustment from the get go and it's just more than he could ever do to fix them. Or the real reason being it's more than the community would ever have allowed him to do. the community would not allow him to fix private gyms and money laundering. the old days were like the wild wild west and the gangsters ran the town. but gyms would be so much more dynamic if retired fighters were hired to be the coaches at gyms. this game has been around for plenty long enough to have a really strong database of retired fighters for hire to be coaches. the beauty of retired fighters being coaches is the "hidden" impact. retired fighters possess authentic fighter skill sets cultivated organically from actually being apart of the game. not just a generic 150 elite and useless everywhere else coach. But the gem here is they have unknown hidden attributes that could be utilized and add a whole other level to gym ownership and training. if coaches could pass on their hidden attributes through training....even if for a short term boost just how dynamic could training fighters become at that point? especially since hiddens are guesswork to begin with. gym selection would be important coach selection would be critical gym management would become fluid and dynamic vs boring and stagnant
  19. you're not even top 5 best in your alliance ever haha. The guy that was best in your alliance asked me for advice regular lol. Before I quit (while I was dominating the game. Literally no competition) I wrote him out a long ass explanation behind how to dominate with ground sliders. Low and behold he suddenly started dominating too haha. You've always been a B level manager. Suck it up bro. You're furniture. Just hanging around providing content. Nothing more. Even when I came back 2 years later I went 12 of 14 against top 50 managers and lost 4 fights total in 6 months. So don't hit me with that shit. You're so far below me it's not funny lol. B team
  20. How you going to welcome me back? Youre playing my game
  21. Know your role bud. Especially when talking to the #1
  22. perhaps there should be a total reset of the game?
  23. 24 people have voted on this topic in months lol. This game is done. You expect mike to invest time into this game with probably 100 people still playing? Give me a break. Go home. It's over. Shame. I remember it's hay day. Mike did everything right creating this game. Then did everything wrong once it went live. Allowed himself to be bullied and scared people would leave so he shit the bed on every hard decision that needed to be made.
  24. Shitty idea. Just shows the major flaw in this game. Takes fuck all amount of time to create fighters. People realize this and want every way possible to hang onto developed fighters because they realize the game is over when the older fighters are done. A good idea would be to speed up the process of creating and active fighter. Instead of forcing people to wait a full year real life time to play with an actual fighter they created themselves. Mike Tycoon you're a fucking dumbass. You let a good game go to shit because you have no balls to make a hard decision. Moron
