  1. awesome. that'll provide for interesting conversation after you vote one another out haha
  2. The game is started bois. Woot woot wooty woo. Thanks potter
  3. Lol looks like I pulled and crashed the entire system. edfan is in and both Convicted and BHP both get shunned. Then Ed pulls out and now Convicted and BHP all the sudden are worthy again. We know who pays the bills. I got vendeda so tripped up they can't even operate a shitty little tournament. Bunch of fucking whores. So easy pulling their pants down Now I'm interested to see how much self respect Convicted and BHP have for themselves if they are willing to be alternatives
  4. No, i'm out. One creation tournament is all I am interested in (survivor). You guys had your chance and dicked around. I'm sure it will be a great tournament though
  5. Yeah I understand. I was thinking in terms of one person being voted off per week. And that would take a lot of time. So it's probably better the way you have it now.
  6. Oh okay. I can see how this could begin to get complicated as time goes on. I had an idea that matchups during the individual stage could be randomized and whichever fighter gets the quickest finish wins immunity. Everyone left goes to tribal to vote someone out. But it's no big deal. It's still going to be interesting to see how ppl play.
  7. how will immunities be obtained during the individual part of the competition?
  8. Nope. Mike basically told me that the problem was on my end. I told him it wasn't. It doesn't work on my desktop or my cell. He did not respond. Perhaps you should inform him.
  9. At the end of the day for every person that says why does he post multiple times. There's just as many that think why does anyone give a fuck lol
  10. I wasn't being a douche bag bud. Simply trying to offer thoughtful opinion on the guys tournament
  11. Yalls logic reminds me of the time I went to Taco Bell and ordered the 12 taco meal and asked for 36 packs of fire. The dweeb at the window didn't want to give me 36 packs. Long story cut short I got how much I was asking for. But my thing is if I'd only ordered 1 taco and asked for 3 packs of sauce then there wouldn't have been an issue. But since it was 12 tacos I needed 36 packs. But the math is the same. Now I suppose to appease him, I could have ran through the drive thru 12 times getting one taco at a time and avoided a problem. But like I said, in the end it would all equal the same. But he didn't see it that way. Same situation here. Doesn't matter if I post 3 times in a row or 1 really long post. It's still going to be the same amount. So what is the problem? I'm on my phone. I'm not going to go clicking around trying to reply and multi quote and copy and paste all that shit, when I can just press quote, type what I want to type and simply hit reply. If I got to reply to more than one person then that's too bad.
  12. In between rounds you could conduct interviews with the fighters. Then post them on the forums just like an episode. Give it a reality show feel.
  13. I can see the pm conversations lol Mike: hey Charlie, let's vote out Bill. Charlie: what? Bill is in our alliance. Mike: I know. But he's getting too cocky. Charlie: okay. Let's vote out bill... Later on... Bill: hey Charlie, what's up? Charlie: hey Bill. Bill: so what do you think about mike? He's a pretty good guy huh. Charlie: yeah, he said he wants to vote you out. Bill: That mother fucker...
  14. It starts getting down close to the end and you know the 8-0 guy is probably going to win because he deserves it. So you may try to blindside him. Put the best fighter up against him to keep him from getting immunity and then vote his ass out! But do you have the votes?...who can you trust lol
  15. I could see this going on for many seasons. What type of fighter would prevail? A 8-0 fighter that dominated the entire competition. Or a 4-4 fighter that didn't ruffle many feathers...
  16. There could be a jury at the end. Made up of the fighters eliminated. Just like in the real game. That's another layer to be considered. They would vote on who they thought played the best game. Did a player make big moves? Did he ride a coat tail? Who deserves to be crowned the sole survivor at the end? Who earned it in the cage AND in the people's eyes. That makes it a lot more complex than just the best fighter wins at the end. Because if you take someone out then you likely won't get their vote. Gives a reason to keep their shitty fighters. After going back and reading the structure of the individual stage it appears there's no voting ppl out after that point? I think it would be cool to not have fights eliminate ppl but voting to eliminate people. The fighter that gains the most hype after each individual stage could get immunity? If you feel like your safe then you'll take easy fights and coast. If you feel like you're on the chopping block then you take tougher fights. At the end the fighters eliminated vote for the winner I could go on and on with the layers added
  17. The training curve is the only thing standing in the way of fighter variety. That and the 150 max points ceiling. When skills train fast at the low level and slow at the high level it drives ppl to point farm and create 4 x wonderful fighters. You see all the time in the UFC that young fighters come in and will be sensational or elite in one area. And later on they'll become complete fighters. In MMATycoon that process is reversed. Everyone is 4 x wonderful at the beginning and later on tries to push the final points up to sensational or elite. Elimination of the training curve fixes that
  18. i actually had the idea this morning and I hope mike sees this. Why not raise the cap on skills to 160? That would create more diversity in fighters than anything else possibly ever could. Just make elite broader. Going back a few pages to mikes example of the fight engine. You could make 160v140 count for more of an advantage. To give ppl the incentive to place the time there. Along with that, I still stand firm that I would eliminate the training curve. It hurts the game that you can gain 5 points training at woeful and .1 training at sensational. Simply implement a training age where at different increments the speed falls off. Start out with each session giving .5 per session gain and go from there. That way if you want to go straight to elite and have a single skilled fighter then there is no penalty for it. Or if you want to start out trying to balance a fighter out, then you can do that. And 1500 sessions later you may have an elite, exceptional, superb, blue belt. But since training has slowed greatly you'll have a slow time getting to purple and beyond.
  19. yes it's like if you had to feed 10 chickens. You would see a lot more variety in the ways you could feed them if it was divided up by 10. Instead of groups of 3
  20. I actually agree with a lot of what you say. I like a general cap also because it gives you more options on how to build your fighters. When you start breaking it up into caps for each little group then it narrows possibilities. For instance if you had a seperate cap for physicals, primaries and secondaries then there will probably be 2 or 3 optimal strategies for physicals. 2 or 3 optimal strategies for primaries. And 2 or 3 optimal strategies for secondaries. In the end the ever evolving fight engine biases will always narrow those down to 1 or 2 legit builds. In the end most fighters are still going to look very similar because you've got them taped off into categories and ppl cant venture away from one another. But if you had a general overall cap where points could be dispersed freely over an entire fighter. At that point you truly would see ppl working many different strategies and ideas. Because you wouldn't be gated off. But im all for whichever gets implemented. Physical cap sounds fine to me. But I do think it would make more sense from a variety standpoint to do an overall cap as opposed to sectional cap.
  21. lol yeah I was having a hard time seeing how that could be worked in also. I do have to give you big thumbs up for this idea. Very cool indeed
  22. So what happens at the end? Is there a jury vote?
