  1. TTFC Invades Tokyo 3 Preview Team Thomas Fight Club is returning to the land of the rising sun for the third time, bringing a unbelievable eight fight event with them. 42,000 quiet, respectful japanese fans will be filling the seats of the massive Tokyo Bowl as Public Enemy defends his sought after strap against the stone slab that is Rocky Blyer. In the Co Main Event Thor Berserk looks to take The "Old War Dog" To Valhalla! So whip out your chopsticks and second rate american sushi as you gaze upon the magnificience of this kamikaze of a card! UNDERCARD "The Brazilian Psycho" Daniel Silva 36 - 20 - 1 Vs. Fatts "Bobby" McGee 14 - 6 There is no bottom of the barrel Jan 31st, right from the beginning Former champion Daniel Silva is looking to revive his once incredible career after going 1 - 4 in his last five fights. Silva despite hailing from the jiu jitsu crazed Brazil, the appropriately named "Brazilian Psycho" has never felt comfortable just tugging at limbs halfheartedly as his opponent meakly defends each attempt, he wants to bash your skull in with his brick plated knuckles. 31 of his wins are by KO and with the superior skillset against his greener opponent, it is very likely this may end with a serious concussion. Fatts "Bobby" Mcgee is making his debut against an absolute killer and this match up only suggests a disappointing start into the big leagues. The big question here is if The Brazilian Psycho is still as dangerous as he use to be, Fatts still has the goods to deliver a beating, this really comes down to just how much Daniel Silva has left in the tank after 14 knockout losses in his career. This humble writer predicts a violent KO as Fatts falls flat and Daniel makes an exciting return to the TTFC. Joeli "BOLE" Babitu 23 - 9 Vs."Master of Kung Fu" Shang Chi 25 - 12 Hailing from the country of Fiji, Joeli Babitu is a standup specialist with world class Muay Thai and crisp striking, coming off a late TKO loss in his last fight he is looking to put a smackdown on his likeminded opponent. Shang Chi the self proclaimed "Master of Kung Fu" just came off a TKO win in the QFC, but with the step up in competition, is his kung fu strong enough to take out BOLE? Joeli edges Shang in both aspects of stand up and they are dead even in wrestling and jiu jitsu, We can only hope Shang's praying mantis style can avoid the Island ass beating Babitu is looking to lay down on him. If I was a betting man (which I am, you can check my bank account) I'd go with a comfortable decision win in favor of the Fijian Freight Train. Tommy Gavin 21 - 9 - 1 Vs. Volga Overstreet 13 - 5 Tommy Gavin is harder to finish then a Charles Dickens novel, with one submission loss in his 30+ fight career, you are hard pressed to put him away. You will not tire the Finland native and he has more then one way of getting his handed raised at the end of the night. His fantastic hands are complimented by technical muay thai and pressuring wrestling, while he has won most fights by TKO he is very capable of snapping a appendage off of you and taking it home with him if he pleases and after going 2 - 3 in his last five fights Tommy Gavin is hungry to put together a string of wins. Russian Prospect Volga Overstreet has absolutely flourished since coming under new management, going 3 - 0, his opponent is facing a very confident knockout artist with vicious abilitiies on his feet and a wrestling pedigree that assures he can stay there if he wants to. With an overall better skillset and his fantastic momentum in his last three, look for Volga to take a dominating win that shows his improved game and Tommy's incredible durability as Overstreet grabs a decision win. "The Sandman" Holden Gracie 33 - 14 - 4 Vs. Mateus Gracie 27 - 17 Finishing off the undercard are two members of the most well known family in MMA, the brazilian Gracies. In this familial dispute Holden Gracie is coming in as a heavy favorite, a former contender in GAMMA, Holden is looking to spread his wings in TTFC with a complete skillset, he is the total package and world class at every facet, He seems partial to breaking jaws rather then arms but with the last name gracie, he is obviously not lost on his back. The underdog in this fight is Mateus Gracie, a well rounded fighter with good stand up and deadly ground game, his majority of wins by submission Mateus is also making his TTFC debut and should look to throw his blood relative on his back in a hurry if he wants to win this fight saturday, regardless of what happens, expect some awkward glances at the next family reunion for these guys. Roberto Capatti is predicting a second round TKO finish for Holden, giving him good footing for a title run. MAIN CARD "Knocks You Out!" Matti Teitsi 17 - 12 Vs. Rufus Speed 18 - 8 Kicking off this fantastic Pay Per View we have two contenders in the 145 lb division. Matti has had a rough patch since losing the 145 pound strap, losing two straight since. Looking to bounce back from his Loss streak, Matti Boasts very good stand up, especially his boxing and excellent wrestling. While he has a black belt he prefers to stick to the feet and will have his work cut out for him as Rufus has all the skills of "KYO!" and a dash more in the muay thai department. Rufus Speed is easily the most recognizable commodity coming out of the country of Togo, after a heart stopping KO loss last outing, he has switched management and is looking to start fresh with a new regiment. Perhaps the only difference between these two fighters is in the muay thai and the fact that Rufus is not afraid to win a fight by submission. Rock, Paper, Scissors to see the winner of this fight, I'm going Rufus by 3rd round stoppage. "The Assassin Reborn" Darwin France 29 - 12 Vs.Ba Lil III 24 - 9 - 1 Staying in the 145 lb division we have the most likely candidate for submission of the night. Darwin France has broken more arms then the Italian mafia, a submissions specialist with over 20 sub wins to his pedigree, he was never tasted defeat via submission and knows every facet of the ground game, if you touch the canvas with this man he will put you to sleep while talking about what he has planned the following day, he has the flexibility of a Dutch lady in the red light district and the limbs of a frisky octopus. Ba Lil III is doing well for himself as of late, going 3 - 1 in the TTFC a win over Darwin France would shoot him into the running for a title shot. It took him just two minutes to submit his last opponent and with his otherworldly wrestling he could decide where this fight will go, but with the ground oriented fight this should be I'd expect him to look to establish himself on top of his dangerous opponent. This fight could go either way, no predictions here ladies and gentleman! Thor Berserk 25 - 12 Vs. "Old War Dog" Severi Turpaansaaja 34 - 16 The winner of this fight may very well be the next fighter to try and grab the 155 belt! Thor Berserk is a multitalented monster with Stunning Muay Thai ability and incredible grappling prowess. Ten Wins by KO, five by submission, he can take you out at every level of the fight, the former champ is looking to take a run for a belt in a higher division against the crafty veteran Severi Turpaansaaja. Old War Dog is accurately named, if MMA treated their fighters like jockeys treated their horses, he is a year or two away from getting walked behind the heavy bags and put down. Thankfully for him a career of very few stoppage losses has kept his body in fairly good shape and with no signs of slowing, he is looking to lay a oldschool beatdown on Berserk. If Thor wants the advantage he should take this fight to the ground where his grappling comes into play, otherwise in the stand up game it comes down to who lands the strike that drops the other opponent, but with both fighters incredible resiliency it will be interesting to see if either fighter can impose their will upon each other before this fight hits a decision. I'm giving Thor the nod with a late second round submission after an exciting back and forth. THE MAIN EVENT Public Enemy 37 - 20 - 1 Vs.Rocky "The Rock" Blyer 34 - 35 - 1 This fight is for the 205 lb title! Our champion had to go through special clearance when arriving in Tokyo to make sure his hands wouldn't cause another nuclear incident in Japan. Public Enemy hits you so hard your girlfriend will get a sympathy black eye. His strategy is clear and he executes it with murderous precision, Public Enemy wants to knock you out, and given even a shred of a chance, he will. His challenger is The Rock, not Dwayne Johnson, but Rocky 'I-knocked-out-my-last-3-opponents-in-the-1st-round' Blyer. With an unbelievable 30 wins by KO, Rocky Blyer has mushed more brains then television, and is looking to put those natural disasters hidden under 4 oz gloves on every part of the champs head. It is no secret where this fight is going to take place, if Rocky uses good boxing he could easily drop the champ, but he needs to watch out Enemy's insane Muay Thai ability if he has a chance at grabbing the belt from him. This has been a preview by Roberto Capatti, whos expecting the champ to return with a dominant first round KO over The Rock. I will now be going into hiding.

  3. United States Fighting Championship 12 Preview Miss the days when MMA was soccer kicks to downed opponents and brutal knockouts where grown men were draped across ropes like unconscious marionettes? Well the USFC understands your nostalgic sadism and is making organization history January 29th with a card of up and comers looking to make their own history in the first USFC event taking place within a ring! Paddy O'Malley's is the place to be this thursday to see pugilistic pursuits by tomorrows legends! Main Event Alberto Contador (258196) 3 - 1 Vs. Bruce "Pain Train" Patterson (261517) 3 - 3 Both fighters are going into this fight 1 - 1 with USFC, a main event win would be huge for either fighter. Alberto Contador is coming off a TKO Victory where he displayed a versatile standup skillset unloading a head kick and strikes to finish off a previously undefeated Paul Thompson. At 19 years old it looks as if he is on the verge of stardom, with a excellent wrestling pedigree and a deadly clinch Alberto Contador has finished all of his opponents by knockout, and seems to be on the warpath. Unfortunately for Contador, 25 year old Bruce Patterson has yet to be knocked out, with four of his six fights ending in decision and none by way of knockout, Patterson has shown he can handle himself wherever the fight may go. With a .500 record Bruce may seem the clear underdog but with his gritty determination and well rounded skillset The Pain Train is looking to cause the upset. The fighters had the following to say when asked about their upcoming fight and opponent: Alberto Contrador: I feel disrespect my opponent is not training well for a dis fight. I will a show no mercy and destroy him. I climb mountain for fun on my bike so beatin a fat a lazy chump will a be a pleasure. Bruce Patterson: Well, all I can really tell the world is that Alberto Contador will REALLY have to watch his six. I can outbox him, and my ground game is no laughing matter. Of course New York and the rest of tehe world will have to wait until Thursday to see how I will win. They hate each other folks, what fun! Co-Main Event Chang "Fung" Pi (263490) 2 - 1 Vs. Terrence Harris (262551) 2 - 1 Fans in attendance on the 29th will be specially instructed to not blink in this electrifying Co Main Event as these fighters both have tremendous power in their hands. Chang "Fung" Pi is a man who knows what the people want, all fights ending by knockout this fighter is always exciting to watch, his hands have given his opponents fits in lesser orgs but now Fung looks to cement himself in USFC against better competition, Chang will most likely decide where the fight goes and will try to use his superior boxing. Terrence Harris hates two things, not putting his gorilla paws on your face and judges. Two wins by KO and his only loss by way of decision (the ringside judges are still missing) Harris is looking to use his better Muay Thai to even the difference in boxing. This is a good bet for KO of the night. Frank Gene (261804) 3 - 1 Vs. Terry "Terror" Torres (261515) 2 - 3 Two fighters who are no strangers to upsets, both these men are coming off impressive wins over fighters who by record should have ran through them. Frank Gene has a developing stand up game, though the real danger is when he puts you on your back, where he can snap a limb or put the lights out, fighters who put Gene in their guard usually end up with something broken, his biggest test will be dealing with The Terror's dangerous Muay Thai. Terry "Terror" Torres is a skilled kickboxer who is comfortable on the ground, his wrestling is there but Gene's is far to dominant, Terry will need to watch out for the ground and pound of Gene and look to capitalize on his opponents suspect stand up. Johnny General (254294) 3 - 2 Vs. Kunle Jones (258875) 3 - 2 Johnny General is a well rounded 27 year old fighter who uses the weaknesses of his opponents to his advantage, 1 - 1 in the USFC, General is strategizing a campaign towards a contendor spot with this win. He is good at using all limbs in stand up and can go the distance comfortably, he can win this bout standing up or on his back. Kunle Jones is a good wrestler who displayed good muay thai in his last fight winning with a head kick followed by punches, he has his work cut out for him in this fight in the stand up aspect however and should look to use his dominant wrestling to offer some gift wrapped bows towards the General's facial features. The Chimaera (253229) 2 - 0 - 1 Vs. Great Bloodsport (253033) 1 - 2 - 0 With names like these you have to assume their parents knew they would grew up to be fighters. The Chimaera is not lost in any facet of the game, but when it comes to Muay Thai, he has a PhD in reconstructive surgery. Dr. Chimaera landed an incredible 62 combined kicks in his last fight, lighting up his opponent with a staggering 19 headkicks, its no secret what his vile shin related intentions are come thursday. Chimaera will need to avoid the superior wrestling of his opponent and keep this fight standing, where he is more comfortable. Great Bloodsport started his career rockily, taking two hard Tko defeats before finding a rhythm in his third outing, showcasing some impressive ground and pound. Bloodsport might as well wear wrestling shoes into the ring, his strategy is quite clear and despite being the underdog, he has a very genuine shot at pulling off the upset. Ka'Ra LeVass (253921) 0 - 1 Vs. Sven "The Hen" Jergensen (255800) 1 - 1 Ka'Ra LeVass is technically undefeated, his first fight in the ring as a Mr. Seawright was however a quick, onesided loss. Despite this meager showing those that know him in the gym are saying that he has improved leaps and bounds, Though don't take my word for it, the mans career so far has lasted just over a minute. In the battle of opposites Sven "The Hen" Jergensen has taken the time to really get in every minute of experience, with just one more fight then LeVass he almost has 30X the in cage experience, his strategy the always deadly 'You-stay-under-me' strategy, which involves a lot of holding and whispers. Although Sven may look better record wise, with Ka'Ra's improved skillset he is a heavy favorite in this fight, Sven better bring a pillow and crucifix, he has a lot of laying and praying to prepare for. Punka Tuka (262486) 3 - 1 Vs. Louden "The Beast From the East" Hurley (254092) 2 - 6 Punka Tuka is undefeated in the USFC, winning his debut with busy clinchwork and the occasional takedown, his cavemen like name is indicative of his fighting style, in your face and frankly a bit offensive. He has very good muay thai and a quietly sound wrestling ace in the sleeve, he is a grinder and knows how to impress the judges. Hailing from the always aggressive Boston, Louden Hurley is debuting in this fight after breaking a disheartening six fight losing streak. The Beast From the East should look to stay outside and use his boxing to keep the distance about as far as his wins to losses. Hurley is capable at every skill of the game but excels at nothing, flip a coin to see if the fight is horizontal or vertical, both are very comfortable at either angle. Pierre "The Beast" Gagnon (260170) 1 - 0 Vs. Xander "The Talon" Cetan (253082) 2 - 2 Since the founding of our great country we have always maintained a fierce and bitter rivalry with our neighbors to the north (I slept through history class a lot). Now we can find release for our unrelenting nationalism as the Canadian Pierre Gagnon takes on American born Xander Cetan. Pierre Gagnon is a standup fighter who keeps you guessing, winning his debut with a onesided beatdown that showed the importance of striking defense and the reliability of a good takedown defense, The Beast is looking to let the hooves fly thursday night! Xander Cetan is a jack of all trades who has struggled in his last two fights after going 2 - 0 in the beginning of his career. Losing in a quick submission in his debut, Xander will want to do his best impression of his former opponent if he wants to pull this one off. Jeff Marks (262307) 1 - 2 Vs. Sean Coleman (263093) 4 - 3 When Jeff Marks fights, someone is plummeting to the canvas. He is a sprawl and brawler who likes to mix it up, 1 - 2 inside the USFC all fights ending by way of Technical Knockout, he has a good chin and excellent hands, he should aim for a aggressive knockout before his ground oriented opponent puts him on his back, where Marks is lacking the technical skill to come out on top. Sean Coleman knows so little about stand up he tried to practice his kicks at an open mic, regardless of this he has polished off four wins with excellent takedowns and relentless submissions, if both fighters end up conscious on the ground you have to give it to Coleman. Its not surprise how either of these guys will win. Solid contender for KO or Sub of the night. Will "Briefcase Wanker" McKenzie (263554) 1 - 2 Vs. Michael Chandler (263389) 1 - 2 Starting off this incredible night of fights is two fighters from the 155 division! Will "Briefcase Wanker" McKenzie clearly picked 16 oz gloves over spandex, a skilled KO Artist with a stone jawline that has yet to be damaged, Mckenzie lost his debut in USFC by decision and is looking to bounce back with a highlight reel Knockout of his opponent. Michael Chandler is coming off a disappointing Tko debut to Laverne Reynolds in USFC 7, he has solid stand up and a dash of wrestling, unfortunately in this fight he is outgunned in his usual comfort zone and will need to grab for ankles if he wants to win this fight, Chandler is studying old Coleman fights as we speak.
