Seeing as weight doesn't appear to have much of a bearing on fight outcomes, I personally don't think it would serve much purpose in this game.

I voted yes. I think the need for a weight class between LHW and HW is fast becoming a must. I'd say 220-230 range would be best...a weight class where guys who can't make 205 and those who don't want to give up 30-40 lbs to a HW opponent could fight.

I think that the limit will be 225lbs if it's implemented.

In real life it's not something I think is a good idea.

There simply aren't enough competitive fighters to split an already fairly lean division.

Yeah this is something that popped into my mind aswell. Cruiserweight itself might be ok but HW would probably suffer from it. I guess.

I'm actually a big fan of a real life cruiserweight division.

I think it is very true that it will give us on or two years of poor divisions but I think for the long term prosperity of MMA it can only ve a good thing. There are a lot of 6"3/6"4 guys who would naturally be cutting to around (not to worried about an actual number) 230 pound mark and would be there most competitive weight. With mma going through an explosion of popualrity I think we need ot look 5, 10 years down the line to those coming through.
