Andrew "The One Hit Kill" Trill on his upcoming fight with Victor Sagat:

What would you like to come of this fight?

"I don't know how I'd like this fight to go. My last two have been pretty quick knockouts within the first round. I mean, the last one ended after the first punch, but that's not what the fans want. I want a high rating, I want to bring my P4P up a bit more. You know, get some more glorious wins. I'm looking for a second round knockout."

And what about your competition?

"I think Sagat's a tough dude. I looked back on his last two fights, and he seems to have a really sharp game, which he loves to lunge aggressively towards your throat. He's vicious, there's no doubt about that. I just wanna keep him on his toes, and tire him out so I can finish the round. I'm just hoping I'll last longer, haha."

Any final thoughts, maybe who you'd like to fight next?

"Well we recently signed Li Fen to the Gym, and he seems to be pretty well planted in the MMA world. He's #10 P4P right now, and I'd love a shot at him if I can pull off a win over Sagat. I don't think Sagat's had to thrown down with anyone as much power as me yet, so he might not know what to expect. At this point we're all still fighting other amateurs. Fen, I'm comin' for you."

Can we say, "Beat your ass"

Tamana Hopoate has been unusually quiet since being embarrassed by micky mulligan. could it have to do with what Shinryaku MMA blog overheard his manager saying "I told you to train in the gym, not with your f***ing mouth Hoppa. Do it again and you'll need new representation" Apparently Tamana has returned to his family in Tonga to nurse his wounds for a short while.

Adam Mirovic has been cleared by his doctors and manager to return to training. Stepping back into the gym at Octagon Warriors, Mirovic said "I'm a fighter who respects what my body tells me. This is my weapon to demolish competition here in DIFO and now that I'm back in training i'm looking to continue my climb up the rankings. I want to fight at Devilman and I want Genichiro Tenryu"

Gary "The Dungeon Master Kaigax provided a brief interview on the "We Think MMA is Pretty Cool Podcast" with Robert Eval.

Robert Eval: Talk us through your last fight.

Gary Kaigax: A guy with better wrestling than me dove for a double leg. He then arm triangled me.

RE: Is this how you envisioned the fight taking place?

GK: No. I thought for sure that he was going to knock me out. My whole game plan was focused around leaving my chin exposed.

RE: Hey, no need to get sarcastic.

GK: How the hell did you expect me to respond? 'No, Mr. Eval. Losing by a rather difficult submission to finish in the first minute of the fight isn't quite how I thought things would go.'

RE: Alright, then. What could you have done differently?

GK: I could have won. That would have been a better way to go about things.

RE: Yes, I suppose that's true. How will you go about that in your next fight?

GK: I am going to sneak my dice case into the cage and I am going to shove D20s down my next opponent's throat while shouting, "Stop critting yourself! Stop critting yourself!" over and over.

RE: I take it you aren't dealing with this loss well....

GK: What would give you that impression? No, I'm perfectly cheery. I'm back at the gym training my dice chucking skills full time. I am up to a 60% hit rate on any dice with more than 6 sides. Those little pyramid ones give me a hard time, but I think their shape will allow them to get lodged in the throat much easier. Yeah, that's basically all I'm working on these days.

RE: That's, um, interesting Mr. Kaigax...

...No, I will not turn your mic back on. Thank you.

DIFO Post fight interview:

Reporter: I am here with a victorious Masaaki Shikuk in the fight you got taken down early then you did a nice switch into mount discribe that for us

Shikuk: well I new his game plan was going to be get it to the ground and lay there so I wanted to keep it standing but hes a good wrestler but I new once it hit the ground I had better Jiu Jitsu but when I sweeped him I landed in mount and started throwing bombs then I started to see he was hurt but he hung in there so I locked in a guillotine and he taped

Reporter: Great job on the win I hope to see you again is there anything else you would like to say

Shikuk: yea for my next fight I want Gary Kaigax he started talking about wanting to fight so I think its time for us to step in the cage TY

We caught up with a very out of breath Andrew "One Hit Kill" Trill after his last fight with Victor Sagat for a little interview. Here's what he had to say:

Q: Andrew, before we get started what are your thoughts about your fight with Victor Sagat?

A: Well, it went exactly like I thought it would. I know my coach was a little disappointed, but I did what I had to in order to secure a win. It was a tough match.

Q: Going into the fight both yourself and Sagat had a 2-0-0 record, did this intimidate you/make the fight more intense at all?

A: Are you kidding me? The other two guys I fought were amateurs just like me, but I knew going into those that we both had an equal chance of winning. I reviewed Sagat's last two fights, and he looked good. No, thats an understatement, he looked GREAT. It was intimidating, and I legitimately had my girlfriend bring me an extra pair of shorts to the fight. When you step in against someone with the skills he had, nature kicks in, and sometimes brings it's dirty little friend along.

Q: Very well. Would you say you learned anything from this fight?

A: Well I know my manager was pretty disappointed... We set out a gameplan, and I didn't follow it. It ended up gassing me eventually, and I ate a couple of knees as a result. Next time I'll try to listen more.

Q: What do you mean? What did you do differently?

A: Well the boss had me training my sparring and clinch for the last little while. He wanted me to go out and throw like a wildman, you know, Liddell style. I thought I had a better chance on the ground, so I kept taking it down. Unfortunately it didn't work to my advantage. I managed to stay on top, which is a big accomplishment in my books, but I feel I could have ended the fight earlier if I had've listened.

Q: Anything you'd like to say to Sagat?

A: You're a great fighter with amazing skills and a lot of heart. Your conditioning was impressive, and I'm sorry the fight ended the way it did. At least it was a clean knockout, so there's nothing you could've done. If anyone were going to be my first loss, I wouldn't have been disappointed if it were you.

Q: What's in store for your next fight?

A: Well, I had asked the DIFO manager Manu Bradcock if I could have a shot at Li Fen. Ultimately I'd like to give Victor another chance, if he and Manu were up for that. I think the fight could have gone either way, and I'd definitely love to give Sagat a chance to fix his mistakes. Aside from that, I've seen a really talented but cocky boxer by the name of Mickey Mulligan calling people out. He's 3-0 and so am I. I'd like to change his 0 to a 1, given the chance. I think every fighter needs to find a balance between competetiveness and sportsmanship, and unfortunately in his case it seems like he needs a little help learning. Im going to take some time off to train for a few weeks, but given the chance I wouldn't turn down a chance to humble him.

Ran into Mickey at training camp for his upcoming fight against the undeafted Davies and asked him if was worried about facing such a powerhouse of a fighter.

Mickey: No not worried he's just another victim on the list everybody has to lose sometime and well this is Davies time.

Q:Did you know you got the One Hit Kill Trill saying he wants to humble you?

Mickey: Yeah looks like that guy does more talking than training, after I have the belt he can be the next victim in line. The only 0 and 1 in that fight would "Oh that was a number 1 ass whoopin that Mulligan handed out". Just send me the next victim. :boxing:

Mickey Mullligan: Is that how you work out your right hand, by reading cheap romance novels and watching porno's about cougars? My girl would laugh if in your face if you said, "Oh princess lets get the picnic basket fill it with champgne and strawberries and watch the swans swim on the lake." She is more like, "Lets do some shots, lines and find a another woman take home with us.", and yeah my moms is pretty frickin hot, that's how I got my good looks.

Best regards before an ass whoopin, Mickey "Crazy Legs" Mulligan, now lets go drink a pint. :boxing:

Gary Gaigax: I would just like to add that Mickey is a very tender lover despite the bluster in his previous comments. Though, officially in our relationship, he is the "girlfriend", but he's right in that I do love doing shots and lines. We have taken home other "women", if you know what I mean. ;)

Once I knock out the last tooth you have in your head I plan on doing some heavy ground and pound with your dear little woman. How about a little wager on the fight, if I win you make two laps around the DIFO gym totally naked yelling I love and miss Michaeal Jackson, if I lose you make up something. Are you up for it,, chump?" :boxing:

After WOLFSBANE we contacted Kamuto Hierowato over email, and here's the whole dialogue :

Q. : Hi Kamuto! You lost your 2nd main event in the D.I.F.O. promotion in a row. How does it feel?

A. : Great, really. How else? They say "theres once opportunity in a lifetime", and I screwed two in a row now.

Q. : Some fans say you already resemble Tim Sylvia - each new defeat comes faster than previous.

A. : Aye, I'm working hard on that. If D.I.F.O. will sign Ray Mercer I'll try to go down in 3 sec. Thats a promise!

Q. : OK, we understand you're a funny guy. But seriously - whats up? What went wrong?

A. : I don't know... I train hard, work on gameplans, but it's just like Tyson said - all gameplans only works until you get punched in the face. These elusive BJJ guys refuse to stand and trade! It's time to start from the scratch now for me.

That's it. If you have a spare teddy bear, or a Tim Sylvia t-shirt, send it Kamuto's way, cos' his morale need some support now.
