Jigoro Kane:

24 Wins
21 fight win streak
2 Losses
1 dynasty..

Everybody loses.

Mike Tyson lost.

Muhammad Ali lost.

Roy Jones Jr lost.

And Jigoro Kane lost.

It's not about the loss when you look back at it, it's about what you do after the loss, it's how you bounce back. Each of the household names in boxing that posted their loss bounced back and some even went on to avenge their loss against their opponents. Ask anybody to name a boxer and whether they watch the sport or not they will name at least of those names, they are legends, they had a dynasty, they were the best in the sport.

That's Jigoro Kane to a tee.

It's not often in the world of MMA that you can go through and dominate in three different weight classes, Kane started his career at Welterweight with Warriors FC in Montreal, his hometown. His first professional fight was a No Contest with his opponent Joel Tavern unable to make weight, it didn't matter to Kane though, he just stepped into the cage 9 days later against Nigel Wigum and was able to post his first career win, things were looking hot for this prospect until he posted his first defeat at the hands of Rick Robinson in a chance to win his first career title.

Kane bounced back from that loss way back then and he bounced back in a big way. Turn the clock forward six months after his first loss and Kane was dominating the Welterweight division, he had moved through every single fighter that was put in front of him and eventually left WFC for bigger things.

Enter Synchronicity.

It didn't take Kane long to make a name for himself in the powerhouse Las Vegas fight organisation, he moved through the welterweight division quickly winning the belt from the once dominant Einar Lee and he kept the belt with three successful title defences Kane relinquished the belt in hopes to move up in weight he took one fight at Middleweight where he was able to defeat Jeppe Turska and after that it was the beginning of a whole new chapter.

Welcome to the Light Heavyweight division. The most sought after division in MMA, this is where the big boys were playing, this is where Jigoro Kane wanted to be. This is where he had the win that started the legacy, this is where he dethroned big name after big name after big name, the difference with those fighters compared to Kane?

After they lost they were never the same.

Kane went on to defeat Jesus Gonzalez, Lee Villa, Jin Sen, Muhammed Muhammed and Johnny Cage cementing his place in the history books as the best fighter at two hundred and five pounds, he was the champions champion, the one that everybody wanted to watch. Manu Okoro made history on the 1st of January 2011 though after he posted the first loss on Kane's record since June 2009, many thought it was over from there but Kane wanted a rematch and he got it and he proved to everyone why he has been the most dominant fighter in the sport for over 18 months.

There were 21 wins after his first loss, how many will Kane be able to post after his second? How many people will Kane run through as his career surely comes to an end?

He's the worlds best fighter, no matter how you look at it his name will be synonymous with the success of Synchronicity in Las Vegas, the popularity of MMA on the internet and the impending success of all the other fighters in his training camp. Put Jigoro Kane's name near it and it's successful and to be the best you really do have to train with the best. His fights are watched all around the world and it doesn't mater who you are you will aspire to be Jigoro Kane, you aspire to be a household name.

He's the best fighter in the world ready to create a second dynasty.

Where will you be when history is made?

Good job bud.

You need an editor hehe, but! Writers are excellent because of their vision and the translation of that vision. Their publishers have editors to refine their writers masterpiece.

Thumbs up man. Everyone loves Kane. :)
