As the Tokyo based fighters had nowhere to train, have i decided to open a gym there.

Wrestling and BJJ-trainer is very good, so i hope to welcome soon some fighters there... And as cash comes in, i will keep on getting better coaches.

Would there be also interest in a fight organisation? if yes, i might start one

yeah i know.

But will many people make the swap to Tokyo with one of their fighters if their is no fighting organisation they can compete in?

i know there are to little fighters at the moment to start with, its already very hard for a gym!!

Sure, it's up to you... Just be very careful with finances. I've put a note asking people to spread their fighters around a bit but anyway, we'll be getting in hundreds of people over the next few weeks so it shouldnt be a problem.

Gonna wait with it, until my gyms start to make money instead of loosing. I took a very good coach on bjj and wrestling and it costs money obviously. Took vip-membership for a whole year, and havent planned on going broke in the first month and loosing my vip

I am sure lots of people will come into this game as it is a very good game, i was hooked immediately. I am playing since yesterday evening and am already a vip, says enough right :)

Comeone people, we do search still some more fighters for tokyo.

I need a good 10 a 15 fighters more, and then i will start a fighting organisation. This is your chance to win a belt while there arent that much fighters you'll have to beat...

Managed to double the fighters total of tokyo today, and i want more :)

Feel free to pm me and remind me in a few days if you don't see me sign up a new fighter. I am really swamped with work and renoing my house. So I don't get as much MMA time as I would like.

Currently ranked amongst the top lightweights in the world, Steve Austin is a fighter with wins against the best in Tokyo who is capable of submitting and KOing his opponents as well as going the distance to win on points. Changes to the Coaching Roster at Octagon Warriors Elite MMA

For Immediate Release

In a press conference held earlier today at the Shinjuku Hilton, the owner of Octagon Warriors Gym announced major changes to their coaching staff. Hazchem Discordia had this to say -

"The Octagon Warriors Elite MMA facility is the original and best Elite MMA facility in Tokyo. The staff and all involved have always been committed the best value, highest quality training and sparring to fighters in Tokyo. As the MMA game evolves, so to do the training requirements of the fighters. It is for these reasons that I have made some major changes to the coaching roster.

First, I thank Graham Brown and Manny Braggidio for the work they have done, and I wish them the best in their future endeavours.

I have now hired some new double elite coaches and consolidated the training sessions so that coaches can specialise.

First, let me introduce Uriah Tums, our elite conditioning coach and associate of the well known David Birchall in Sydney. Fighters are often heard to remark how hard he pushes them, and he certainly makes use of the equipment here in the gym, as well as regular trips to Nagano for running and other cardio drills in snow drifts. Uriah tells me he has adapted the training technique from running on sandhills behind Sydney's Cronulla beach with his mentor David.

Next, our Elite BJJ coach Chris Brown, a submission specialist. He is the man of 1002 holds and has a distinguished career of his own in MMA.

Fabricio Braga travelled to the USA as a teenager with a dream of becoming a NCAA wrestling champion, his ability to takedown opponents at will and negate any sprawl technique made his dream a reality.

Back to the stand up side of the game, we have our 2 Elite Muay Thai coaches, both veterans of Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium David Smith and Yuko Simato who are offering sessions in the fundamentals of Muay Thai.

Kevin Simpson is an Olympic Freestyle Wrestler who has also trained in the art of Sumo, he is our Takedown Defence specialist.

Local MMA legend Yoshi Sakara is one of our Elite BJJ and Wrestling coaches offering intense and focused training in Defensive Grappling.

Former WBA, WBC, IBF Bantamweight Boxing Champ, and winner of The Contender Asia II, our double elite Muay Thai and Boxing coach Soter Victorstein has one of the cleanest, most powerful punches in the business and will help you fighters work on their Punch Technique. He is joined by our other double Elite Muay Thai and boxing coach Uchi Lee offering great training in Striking Defense.

Last but by no means least, my old friend and personal mentor, Henry Williams. One of the first in my home country of Australia to adopt the Ground and Pound technique he is my specialist in this area of your fighter's game offering sessions all week.

Octagon Warriors is the home of champions and offers the BEST Elite MMA Training in Tokyo. With a very limited number of memberships still available now is your chance to get your fighters to train with the best.
