If this somehow ends up being 64 man instead of 32, I vote w/ Opa for 2 weeks between rounds. Otherwise fine w/ 3.

And for the love of Allah, can we get some more highly hyped people up in hurr?!

Barksdale said he might enter Okoro but not sure if he is yet.

Are the brackets going to be done right after this closes on Oct 10th, or closer to the actual fight dates?

Brackets will be done ASAp after the 10th. Ill start sending out offers and set the brackets up as fast as I can.

This tournament needs a) more people and B) more "lil dudez"

I am filling my 2nd fighter slot with Spotted Cow.

He has a fight on 10-22 in Rio. Either he will lose and feed off the hype/pop of everyone else in this tourny or he will come in highly ranked and....feed off the hype/pop of everyone else here.

He's with Blitz: Rio, so half of the winnings will go to them if he happens to win.

Less than 20 spots left! lets get this filled so we can make it a great tournament.

Looking at it, I'm still listed as a second entry....and then Spotted Cow(my fighter) is listed as an entry.

Kamuto is listed twice on the list also.

Plan to contact the managers with just "entry" lines to see if they're interested?

Just counting links, theres 30 people scheduled. Hoping they all follow through.

Without the addition of anyone else higher ranked (P4P <200), I'm probably going to withdraw Bubba and put Momoko Yamaguchi in his place. He should win his next fight and have an even healthier P4P ranking after to offset it.

How many people you expect that high? Face Kicker is putting 2 guy in that high or so. Skelator is 100, Von Matter horn is 260, Ernesti is 340, Hemsky is 400, Rustow is 298, Carter 500, Anderson at 480.

That is nto counting a couple other top managers who are considering high level guys. Im not gonaa call no one out on here.

I think my 22 year old has a good chance but "super projects" don't have any advantage over most established top fighters at this point as they're close to the skill cap anyway, a project might be a those skill levels younger but they are still the same skill levels. Sliders and hiddens will be the reason if a young project wins, not a skill advantage. The only advantage the best trained projects have now is really time until decline due to age.

I don't have any fighters who are 82% or greater in all 3 categories.

I have a few that have a chance to get there. They have been in private gyms with good training since 18, however that's not even guaranteed.

In fact, here is the best I have right now

(Physicals 85.6%, Primaries 73.6%, Secondaries 63.5%)

When you say skill points don't matter, you make it sound like there are a bunch of 82%/82%/82%. I really don't think there are so many to say skill points don't matter.

PS.. LOL, what kind of loser gives a (-) post to a non-opinion/question statement like above? Are you such an intellectual midget that you don't realize hitting that little negative button is just a passive aggressive attempt to hide behind your computer like a bitch and avoid manning up and joining a discussion because deep down you know you totally lack the self confidence to express yourself like a man?

82% or greater in all 3 categories probably is extremely rare as that would mean 82% or greater in secondaries. Anyone who got that high in secondaries would likely be even higher in primaries and if they had top level physicals to go with that their % of total would simply be too high to maintain. But I have no doubt there are a lot of fighters past 80% or so of total points. Also, some of the fighters not at those numbers don't have them because they are striking specialists and focusing on few skill won't give a good total %.

I didn't really say skill points don't matter, I just said if a young project wins it won't be because of a skill advantage because I have a hard time seeing them having one. Sure, the "super projects" had better training at 18 etc, but the older guys have had great training during for quite some time now plus all the training they had during those extra years to compensate for being older during ideal training. I have some decent projects but my two most skilled fighters are still my two oldest, this despite them spending the better part of a year in public gyms with big classes and fighting from day one. One of them spending sessions as a spar bot just to get some sparring in return. They're both some comfortably past 82% overall. My third "old" guy isn't but he also never trained the skills that would even make it possible.

Imo the advantage of super projects is that they reach top level skills earlier so their peak is likely longer, depends a lot on that hidden though. I guess they might have a slightly higher peak too as they haven't had much injuries so their triggers will be slightly friendlier.

My take is if anyone hasnt entered a guy by now...they more than likely won't. There's nothing to "stew" over and if its in regards to releasing a fighter for the tourny it should have been worked out w/ their org owner before this. With only 5 days left, I'm pessimistic that anyone will last minute enter into the tournament.

Momoko won't be much different than Bubba. He could always lose, but he should win his next fight and be somewhere in the 100 P4P range which is still around the top of the pack. Plus his skill set is worse than Bubba, so people should be happier that they can trounce him easier :)
