New Age Fighting presents NAF 1: Castrello Vs. Nahkuri

On Saturday, October, 29th, 2011; Live from the Paddy O'Malleys bar in Montreal, New Age Fighting (NAF) makes it's debut as a fight org showcasing the sports youngest and hungriest future MMA stars all under one roof. New Age Fighting looks to give young MMA artists fight experience and an opportunity to shine in the professional and competitive sport of mixed martial arts. For several men, their journey into their professional fight careers begin tonight.

In our action packed main-event, New Age Fighting (NAF) looks to put it's name on the map as Cullen ''The Shotgun'' Castrello (1-0) takes on Esari ''Esa'' Nahkuri (1-0) in a three round bout show casing two bright prospects in the Light Heavyweight division. After coming off of his first win by submission VIA arm triangle we can expect the blue belt Castrello to try to get this fight onto the ground and work his BJJ but Esari Nahkuri says, no go. Esari ''Esa'' Nahkuri holds a wrestling advantage and thus may posses the ability to keep this fight on the feet where he holds a slight advantage in the clinch where he can work his Muay Thai. However, if Castrello can manage to keep his distance he may be able to turn the stand up game into his own. Fight fan locals have been vocal in criticizing Castrello for his choice in fight camp in a fight that will critically depend on how each fighter has approached training camp and the strategies they employ, fight night.

Writers pick: Cullen ''The Shotgun'' Castrello VIA third round decision

The co-main event stars a middle weight fight between a BJJ practitioner in Demian Mia (1-0) who takes on a striking sensation in the making, Richard Hard (1-1). There's no secret to where each fighter wants to fight this fight and it is very unlikely this fight makes it out of the first round. If Demian Mia can take this fight to the ground the inexperienced Richard Hard has very little to work against this Purple Belt with superior wrestling. However, if Richard Hard is able to keep this fight standing he'll be able to pick Demian Mia apart with relative ease and perhaps score a knockout or a referee stoppage. With Mia possessing good takedowns it is unknown if Rich Hard has the defence to keep the fight where he wants it and thus is treading dangerous waters in this fight.

Writers pick: Demian Mia VIA submission in the first round

In yet another bout in the New Age Fighting's (NAF) 205 Light Heavyweight Division, Joey ''Chaos'' Amidal (0-1) looks to take on a the fairly well rounded ''Auner'' Amo Resbroko (0-1). Oddly enough these two both have history with Cullen Castrello and Esari Nahkuri two fighters featured on the same card in the main-event. Joey ''Chaos'' Amidal looks to rebound after a first round submission loss to Cullen in the QFC and luckily for him his opponent Amo Resbroko holds no significant advantages in the submission department. Meanwhile, Amo Resbroko took Nahkuri three rounds but ended up suffering a unanimous (29-28) decision loss against Nahkuri. On paper both Joey Amidal and Amo Resbroko are even on the ground and the significant advantage belongs to Amidal on the feet. Amo Amidal is going to want to take this fight to the ground where he's most comfortable and keep inside of the clinch while the fight is standing to stand a chance against the superior striker.

Writers pick: Amo Resbroko VIA third round decision

This middleweight fight stars two older fighters making their debuts in New Age Fighting (NAF) as a dangerous striker Shinji Tachibana (0-1) takes on greco wrestling specialist, Greco Roman (0-0). Shinji Tachibana possesses dangerous power, nice combinations and can tenderize a pair of legs with vicious kicks. The key to victory for Greco is to take this fight to the ground while he still has a pair of legs to stand on. Although Greco has yet to fight; word has it, he possesses wonderful wrestling with great take downs Shinji Tachibana potentially can't manage to stuff and once on the ground is open for Greco's GNP or even worse for Tachibana; submissions which appears to be Shinji's Achilles heel. Will Greco Roman have what it takes to expose it?

Writers pick: Greco Roman VIA second round TKO

At middleweight, Mia Ghoul (1-0) will go head to head with Feadrautha ''Sting'' Harkonnan (0-2). Mia Ghoul who one his debut fight in the OFC with a beautiful kimura in the third round of his fight holds a significant advantage on the ground possessing a purple belt in BJJ. Feadrautha Harkonnan who has already suffered a recent loss VIA submission is going to need to keep this fight on the feet where he holds an advantage in both the striking and clinch department despite displaying questionable take down defence. Can Feadrautha Harkonnan rebound from a rough start to his career? Or will Mia Ghoul claim the limb of yet another striker? Time will tell.

Writers pick: Mia Ghoul VIA first round submission

The second Middle fight of the night has Marshall ''Bob'' Fitzpatrick (0-0) taking on Tyrell ''PrinceKilla'' Parlee (1-0). Fitzpatrick is wading straight into the fire against an aggressive and confident Tyrell Parlee who's exhibited great GNP and submissions. Fitzpatrick is going to need to keep this fight in the clinch where he'll find most success with elbows as Tyrell Parlee is said to have a tendency to cut. It's no secret Parlee is going to want to take this fight to the ground and GNP his way to a victory or better score yet another submission win. Although untested, Fitzpatrick is said to be under great management that may just develop the perfect game plan to overcome his confident opponent. Either way, this could easily steal the fight of the night.

Writers pick: Tyrell ''PrinceKilla'' Parlee VIA decision

Ganet ''Richard'' Alia (1-0) looks to take on newcomer ''The Shining'' Vitali Pokrovski (0-0). Ganet Alia has a unique skill-set in that he's a threat in both the striking and ground department as he has earned himself a purple belt in BJJ although his wrestling has been called into question. Ganet picked up his first win after catching a brutal guillotine choke off a takedown. Vitali Pokrovski proves to be an equal threat in the BBJ department and is a bit more well rounded then his opponent. Ganet Alia's way to victory relies on his ability to keep at a striking distance and chip away at the chin of Vitali Pokrovski. Pokrovski on the other hand has his best shot in controlling Alia on the ground where he should look to wear him down over the span of three rounds and look to grind out a decision or fish out a late round submission.

Writers pick: ''The Shining'' Vitali Pokrovski VIA decision

At middleweight, a wrestling prodigy fighting out of Toronto Ontario, David Carwin (0-0) makes his professional debut against a BBJ focused Rockooo ''Spida'' Pena who is also making his professional debut in MMA. This fight is just about guaranteed to go to the ground where both men will look to work their respective game. David Carwin is a remarkable wrestler who we expect to see great ground and pound along with good control from the top position while Rockooo Pena will look to grab onto a limb and take it home with him. If these two decide to keep the fight standing, then it's just about anyone's game and we fight fans are okay with that!

Writers pick: David Carwin VIA decision

New Age Fighting (NAF) kickstarts it's live preliminary bouts off with two fighters out of the Light Heavyweight division as Tommy ''The bull'' Billion (0-0) locks horns with Ryan ''Stone Fist'' Willis (0-0). Tommy Billion is a well rounded mixed martial artist who doesn't standout in any specific category, but is definitely expected to keep this fight on his feet where he holds the clear advantage over the ground based submission wrestler Ryan Willis. Ryan Willis is a ground fighter who we expect to exhibit a show of good GNP and control on the ground if he's able to take this fight there. These two are young fighters with limitless potential so the outcome should largely depend on how they train and approach this fight strategically.

Writers pick: Ryan ''Stone Fist'' Willis VIA third round submission

NAF 2 Preview

This Saturday Night New Age Fighting: Montreal will be livefrom the Paddy O’Malley’s Bar with NAF 2: Thomas vs. Turner.

Chuck Segal (0-0) vs. Alexandre “Baixinho” Barros (0-0)

Our card will start off with what should be a Welterweight BJJclinic. Two purple belts will look toget this to the ground fast. Both arevery evenly matched. Barros has the ageedge but Chuck Segal camp looks to be a bit more experienced then Barros’s. Thiswill just come down to what is better Montreal BJJ or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Ismet “Govno” Cenifovic (0-0) vs. Rhaegal Targaryen (1-3)

Our first ever Heavyweight action in NAF. Targaryen has started his career off a littlerocky but he will look to use his well rounded game to get back on track in hisfirst fight in New Age Fighting. Targaryenstarts to bleed if you look at him the wrong way. He has great potential but with all his scartissue can he last in the MMA business? Ismet doesn’t just want this fight to end viacut he wants to punish Targaryen in the cage and prove he can be beat bysomething other than a cut.

Marc Brodeur (0-6) vs. Matt Sabre (0-0)

Back to some welterweight action. Marc Brodeur is reaching a point in hiscareer that mma might not be for him. NAF may be his last chance to turn his career around. With 4 submission losses he is going to wantto keep this fight standing the issue with that is Matt Sabre is going to lookto bring the House of Pain with him and is skilled enough to try and handleBroduer wherever the fight goes.

“Mighty Morphin” Jason Frank (1-0) vs. Punaney Jackson (0-1)

Win or lose this may be the first and last time we seePunaney Jackson in NAF. His manager hada falling out with NAF ownership and unless he finds some other management wordis he will be on his way out. But until weget to see some action packed Light Heavyweight action. Both Franks and Jackson are excellent standup fighters. But Jackson does like tomix it up and will try a takedown or two. The issue with that is Frank is so much better on the ground it couldprove to me dangerous to try a takedown.

Matt Melbye (0-2) vs. Kicky Kickboxer (0-0)

Someone forgot to tell Melbye that this is a middleweightfight. Rumors are he is a little chubbyright now and he may not be headed in the right direction. Hopefully he can still make the cut becausethis fight should be a great debut one for both fighters. Despite Kick boxers name he actually primarilya ground fighter. Melbye is a boxer by trade but he does nothave as good as wrestling as Kickboxer does and being a little drained from theweight cut may lead him to getting taken to the ground easier. Time will tell if Melbye can right his weightand makes this fight happen.

Eric Stone (0-1) vs. Chris “Destruction” Duncan (1-0)

We will get to see some Boxing vs. Muay Thai in this nextLight Heavyweight bout. Duncan is theMuay Thai specialist however he is known to abandon his game plan and wants tojust take the fight to the ground and look for a submission. Unfortunately for Eric Stone that is hisweakness. Eric is a boxer by trade andhas not gotten around to learning the ground game yet. If Eric can keep this fight standing heshould be able to teach Duncan that he needs to work on his boxing game or getTKO’d.

Sean “The Silencer” Okeefe (5-9) vs. “4pac” Anaconda Yadav(7-15)

0-6 vs. 0-6 that is what his Heavyweight fight is allabout. Both fighters are on a difficultsix fight losing streak. Both are Hungryand someone will finally be able to put a stop to that losing streak. For the loser it will be a hard to swallow0-6. This fight looks to be going to theground. Yadav has won all 7 of hisfights by submission and O’Keefe has 2 to his name as well. This one should be two fighters pouring theirhearts out to pull out a victory finally. Who will win? The fans!

Silver Hawk (0-2) vs. Shaune “Boots” Scally (3-5)

Uh oh we have another tubby here in Silver Hawk. Is middleweight that hard to reach? Don’t these fighters now if you come in heavyand can’t fight you don’t get paid! Ifthis fight does go down then we will see 2 fairly well rounded fighterstonight. Silver Hawk is outstanding with his Mauy Thaiand should look to use that to get his first win ever. Scally should look to do what he always doestake the fight to the ground and use his superior ground game to get thesubmission.

Maciek “MMA” Kierzkowski (0-0) vs. “K.O.” Urijah Samuel(0-0)

Not many Co-Main Events star two fighters with nofights! Well when one of those fightersis Urijah Samuel then it is bound to happen. I have never seen a fighter with so much hype and popularity. Time will tell if the pressure will be toomuch for this 20 year old fighter. Bothfighters are fairly even on with wrestling and BJJ so that might be awash. So it brings us to Boxing vs. MuayThai. Maciek looks to have the edge withbetter Muay Thai to Samue’sl Boxing. Maciek will look to spoil Samuel’s debutwhile making his a successful one.

Doc “The Bone Breaker” Thomas (17-10) vs. Jason “The Burner”Turner (15-6-1)

And now we are here for our Main Event of the evening. In a special 5 round Super Bout will feature2 very experienced middleweights. Bothfighters have fought in the original New Age Fighting organization. Doc Thomas is the former NAF middleweightchampion. Both fighters have agreed tocome back for 1 night only. Doc Thomaslooks to be the superior fighter in this bout but “The Burner” is known to pushthe pace and has never lost a fight that has gone the distance. The Doc will want to use Turner’s biggestweakness and get him in deep waters on the ground. If Turner can keep the fight standing he maybe able to push Thomas enough to take the win, but if it goes to the ground hemay find himself with another loss.

New Age Fighting: Montreal

NAF 2: Thomas vs.Turner

2011-11-12

Paddy O'Malleys Bar- Montreal

Main Event

Thomas vs. Turner

2 warriors thatagreed to return to the Org for 1 night only showed up and went to war. Bothfighters started the fight testing each others stand-up but by 01:30 Thomaslooked to impose his ground advantage taking Turner down, working position andattempting a submission midway through the round. It wasn't long before the refstood both fighters up after turner had successfully controlled the fight to astand still. Round 1 ended on the feet with some nice action. At the roundsclose it was close. Round 2 brought an early takedown again from Thomas whoimmediately appeared more aggressive with his submission game then switching tobrutal GnP dropping a huge elbow that all but killed Turner, the ref jumped inbefore Thomas could recover. This one was over by TKO at 3:29 of round two andthe winner was called - Doc Thomas

Co-Main Event

Maciek KierzkowskiVs Urijah Samuel

2 debut fighters inMMA let alone the Org managed to psync up the co-main event and Samuels TOTTheld hat looked like bad news for the 20 year old with Tends to Cut snuggled upat the bottom.

That ominous TOTTwrite-up took less than 5 seconds to become apparent. the very first strike, ahead kick, cut Samuels open and thi looked like it would be a long night forthe up start. Samuels immediately went for the takedown and succeeded, dominating on top with no less than 10 sub attempts closing out the round.Round 2 almost replicated round 1, exept this time it was Samuels doing thecutting, some how Kirzkowski has been cut whilst in the clinch and up againstthe cage. Not long after the fight was takn to the ground again by Samuels whoworked both submissions and GnP opening up hi opponents cut more and more untilthe referee called the doctor in and it was stopped. Oh the irony, winner byTKO (Cut) U. Samuels - Clay Guida would hav loved to be in that fight.

Fight 3

Sean Okeefe vs.Anaconda Yadav

On paper thislooked like it would be a long night for Okeefe, giving up primary abilitiesall over the place, but coming into the fight he had other ideas, securing aclinch and following it up with a takedown he looked impressive. Impressivethat is until Yadav started working his Jitz, 10 submission attempts later andthis one was all over with just 1 second left in the round. - Winner Yadav ViaTriangle Submission

Fight 4

Stone Vs Duncan

Stand-up met a moreroundd fight game in tonights 4th fight. Stone came in with exellent boxingskills and Zero jitz, a skill set that would be tested and found wanting byDuncan who secured his second career win by way of Triangle Armbar at just 0:52of round 1.

Fight 5

Frank Vs Jackson

Yet another fightthat delivered Jiu Jitsu on the card as well as plenty more blood, bothfighters left the cage bleeding. Jackson took Frank down in the 1st round andquickly saw the power of a purple belt over a blue belt, getting owned prettymuch for the rest of the round. Jackson, obviously wanted to keep this on thefeet come round 2 but was then knocked downby a left right combo that Frank pouncedon submitting Jackson by Guillotine at 3:53 of round 2.

Fight 6

Brodeur Vs Sabre

Brodeur is startingto look really good for the title of Jobber 2011, coming in to the cage at0-6-0 it is suprising that anyone thought h had a chance against the debutingSabre, high-insight folks, its like foresight, just without the future! To befair to Brodeur he bettered Sabre on the feet but it was almost inevitable thathe'd get taken down and when he did Sabre locked on an Armbar to complete thewin in round 2.

Fight 7

Cenifovic VsTargaryen

Cenifovic debutingon tonights card would need to go to his wrestling to beat the Jitz brown beltand we thought we where about to see a good ole' fashion Wrasslin' Vs BJJspecial... wel folks if anything we saw what BJJ offers that wrestling doesn't,Targaryen subbed Cenifovic at 1:38 of round 1 via Kimura.

Fight 8

Barros Vs Segal

Two BJJ purplebelts came to the cage with one thing in mind! No Gi Grappling! A takedownright from the off by Barros set the tone for the rest of the fight, workingaway at Segal until finally subbing him at 2:24 of round 1 via Kimura.

Of the night Bonuses

KO of the night:Doc thomas

Sub of the night:Chris Duncan

Fight of the night:Anaconda Yadav vs Sean OKeefe

Each fighterreceives $500 for there part in tonights most exiting action

Name and Shames forthe evening!!!

Shaune Scally VsSilver Hawk

Silver Hawk had aterrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 188.0, he hadtwo hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for asecond time, he still failed to make the required weight and after muchdeliberation, his fight with Shaune Scally was cancelled.

Kicky Kickboxer VsMatt Melbye

Matt Melbye had aterrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 188.8, he hadtwo hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a secondtime, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Kicky Kickboxer was cancelled.

NAF 3 Preview

This Saturday Night New Age Fighting: Montreal will be livefrom the Wild Bob’s Bar with NAF 3: Marion vs. Tuomela.

“Stampede” Calgary Alberta (0-0) vs. Tommy McKenzie (0-0)

Middleweight action brings use 2 young prospects in CalgaryAlberta and Tommy McKeinze. Alberta isvery well rounded for someone of his age. He prefers to keep in standing but can hold his own against most on theground. McKenzie may be someone he doesn’twant to go to the ground against. McKenzie has some great BJJ and the only thing that may hurt him is hiswrestling isn’t as sharp as Alberta. Sowe may see McKenzie’s stand up game exposed, but if he does get it to theground he could make short work of Alberta.

Mirco “Crobot” Diprivan (1-1) vs. Borislav “Vodka” Volkov (0-0)

Some more young newcomer action here. Both of these Light Heavyweights are hungryfor a win. Volkov is especially hungrysince word on the street is he is broke right now! Volkov is a dangerous Muay Thai Specialistwhile Diprivan is the definition of well rounded. I sure hope Volkov has found some money forfood so he is strong enough to keep the fight standing and in the clinch tofinish or else Diprivan may be able to drag his fight on and wear down Volkovand look to finish wherever he sees fit.

Jonah Cazaly (1-0) vs. “Celtic Warrior” Aaron Davis (1-0)

Now we move on to an intresting matchup at LightHeavyweight. Both fighters love to getthe fight to the ground and ply themselves on some submissions and some groundand pound. If this fight does staystanding Cazaly has the advantage but a lot of people question his choice ingym claiming no successful fighter has ever come out of the Cozad gymsystem. Either way we should see agreat ground battle between these two.

“The Monster” Alex Price (5-8) vs. Ching “Chang” Chong (0-1)

In May of 2010 a young Welterweight prospect made fought fora debuting promotion in New Age Fighting back in New York. Over 1 year later that same welterweight looksto fight once again under the NAF banner. “The Monster” is a grinder pure and simple. He doesn’t win flashy but he looks to takeyou into deep waters and suffocate you throughout the fight. Ching Chong seems to be a fighter yet againtraining in the Cozad gym that doesn’t relies the type of fighter he canbe. He is a Muay Thai specialist but heseems obsessed with taking the fight to the ground. Price is so experienced he doesn’t care whereyou take the fight. Price is going tolook to grind you out for the win, and unless Chong takes advantage of his MauyThai skills that’s may be where he finds himself.

Randy Randolf (0-1) vs. “The Axe Murderer” Wanderlei Silva(0-1)

Have a mentioned yet about these Cozad trainedfighters! How no one from Cozad gymseems to come out of there with a good solid game plan for fights. Hopefully these two can prove me wrong. No one wants to see a ground battle between 2white belts. Hopefully these fighterswill relies that the ground is not where they belong and keep this fightstanding. Silva last fight was so quickhe didn’t even get to see him show his game plan and for some reason someonetold Randolf that his white belt was enough to handle a purple belt on the ground. I hate you Cozad gym you ruin my fighters!!

Jebba “The Jackhammer” Johnson (0-1) vs. Chris Clark (0-0)

Last fight Jebba Johnson had was at Heavyweight. He threw some punches got taken to the groundby a much larger beast and was ground and pounded to dust. Now he sees himself at his natural at 205 andwill look to fight a man that clearly wants to keep the fight standing in ChrisClark. Unfortunately for Johnson Clarkhas a clear advantage on his feat with wonderful boxing. Perhaps Johnson learned some things after hislast fight and will look to be the one to take the fight to the ground andpound Clark out. That may be his onlyhope of winning.

“The Next Big Thing” Brock Lesnar (0-1) vs. “The Butcher”Brutus Von Kleissuer (1-0)

In his first fight ever Brock Lesnar took down his superiorgrappling opponent got stood up very quickly up the ref and ended up gettingcaught in a submission. Where have Iheard that before? Now he finds himselfonce again fighting that same man tonight in Von Kleissuer. This seems really familiar! A lot of people said that Lesnar would havewon if not for the quick standup. Welltonight he gets to prove it when he takes on Fran…… Von Kleissuer again. Hopefully he doesn’t have the same ref.

Matt Disaster (0-0) vs. Little “Version 3” Hardon (2-0)

For weeks Little Hardon has demanded a fight in NAF. He has told Kainlock that he needs to bringin the best lightweights for him to beat up on. The problem with that is Montreal had few lightweights available forhim. So what did Kainlock do? Make Hardon fight at Welterweight. Still though Hardon is vastly more experiencedthen 99% of the roster in NAF. So no onewanted to fight him. So once againKainlock brought in from Las Vegas Matt Disaster. Disaster is known for his elite wrestling andhas been a coach in Vegas for years. Hardon’s 1 weakness is his wrestling game. But Hardon has better submissions thenDisaster. No matter the outcome of thisfight I predict it will go to the ground and it will be a disaster for 1 ofthese fighters!

John “Battle” Axeford (0-1) vs. “Captain” Ryan Gives (2-1)

Remember I told you about that Heavyweight that toke downJebba Johnson and ground and pounded him to dust? That is Ryan Gives. So we know what Gives is looking to do inthis fight. Axeford lost his last fightbut I am sure he will come in with a solid game plan to try and avoid thetakedown ability of Gives and out strike him. I am sure his gym….COZAD!!! ARGGHHH!!!

Ramio Tuomela (17-10) vs. Jayden Marion (6-1)

And now we are here for our Main Event of the evening. In a special Super Bout will feature 2 veryexperienced middleweights looking to use each other as a stepping stone. Both Fighters are outstanding on their feetand really look to knock people’s heads off. Marion is known for mixing up his attacks more and may look to get thefight to the ground expose Ramio’s ground game. Marion is just has outstanding on the groundas he is standing if not more so. Tuomelawill look to use his experience to get himself out of any jam that Marion mayput him into. But with a suspect chin onTuomela this fight may be too much for him.

NAF 4 Preview

This Saturday, brought to you by Happy Pills, Night New AgeFighting: Montreal will be live from the Wild Bob’s Bar with NAF 4: Castrellovs. Shannon

Feadrautha “Sting” Harkonnan (0-3) vs. “Throwed” BlowedMexican (1-0)

We start this night of champions with some welterweightaction. Harkonnan has already thrown inthe towel on his career. After going 0-3overall and 0-1 in NAF he has decided to retire after this fight. He has stopped training and will come inSaturday to pick up his check and leave. Of course once someone gets in that ring no one is just going to laydown. Mexican will have everyopportunity in this fight for a win it will just be a matter of can he takeadvantage of this opportunity. Harkonnanmay be mailing this one in but he could still pull off the upset and go intoretirement as a winner.

Seymour “Bacon” Grubbs (0-0) vs. Vincent Vega (0-0)

Some more young newcomer action here in our welterweightdivision. Grubbs is a Muay Thai expertwith enough wrestling to make him difficult to be taken to the ground. That is where Vega looks to want to take thefight with his excellent Los Angeles Jiu Jitsu. Of course Vega is a bit better rounded so if the fight does staystanding up Vega might not be as lost in the water as Grubbs would be if thefight hits the ground. Whichever fightertakes and keeps the fight where he wants it should come out the winner.

The Greatest “Undefeated” Fighter Ever (1-0) vs. “Winnipeg “TheForks” Manitoba (0-0)

That’s right it’s not a nickname that is his name. The Greatest will have to go out theretonight above proof his parent’s right. I can only assume that Fighter Ever was groomed at a very young age tobe a fighter. It is showing a little toobecause word on the street is he is over training like mad going into thisfight. That’s all well in good but NAFbrings in the best youngest talent in all of Montreal and that is what we havein Manitoba. Manitoba has been takingthis fight very serious and will look to humiliate the Fighter Ever showing himthat it takes more than a cool name to be successful in MMA.

Genet “Richard” Alia (1-1) vs. Amo “Auner” Resbroko (0-2)

The Canadian vs. the German. Genet is a striker by nature but he has some solid Jiu Jistu he cameacross a man that was his equal on the ground last time but this time he shouldbe good to go if the fight goes on the ground. Resbroko likes to get his opponent down and work his ground game. Well I have no doubt he can get Alia to theground, he might not like it there with him once it goes there.

Demian Maia (1-1) vs. Jake Jonathan (0-1)

That Jake Jonathan looks like a man possessed outthere! He showed in his last fight thatthe ground game is not his foray. Helooked good standing up just hasn’t worked on Jiu Jistu yet in his career. Demian Maia as the name would imply isexcellent on the ground and will look to take the fight there to work asubmission. This fight is going to amatter of who can impose his will over the other fighter.

Esari “Esa” Nahkuri (1-1) vs. Tommy “The Bull” Billion (0-0)

In his last fight Billion was not able to do ANYTHING!! He was taken to the ground hit once andsubmitted in 34 seconds. In this fighthe may be taken down but Nahkuri has not doesn’t seem to have the submissiongame to be a threat. Of Course stranger thingshave happened. Perhaps we will see ourfirst true stand up battle of the night. Nahkuri is going into tonight to prove that having no gym is better thebeing in the Cozad gym. Time will tellon this one. I hope all of you arewatching.

“Domination” Justin Cole (1-0) vs. Ken “The Killer” Morrison(0-0)

2 Heavyweights with great stand up called Domination and TheKiller. What more needs to be said. This should be a war!!

Middleweight Title Fight

David Carwin (1-0) vs.Alan Wood (1-0)

Our first of 3 title fights tonight sees too great promisingmiddleweights looking to tear each other apart for that title. This fight is real simple too Woods wants to getthe fight to the ground and work some submissions and Carwin wants to get thefight to pound your face in. I seeCarwin getting the takedown in this fight and pound away at Wood while he looksto move his hips and sink in something to finish the fight. I see this fight being very exciting as Woodslooks to sink something in before his face is turned to mash! Either way the man with their hand raised canlay claim to not only being the 1st Middleweight champion of NAF butalso the 1st Champion ever in NAF!

Welterweight Title Fight

Mai Ghoul (2-0) vs. Greco Roman (1-0)

Our Co Main Event is shaping up to be identical to the last fight. Roman likes to ground and pound while Ghoulworks the submission game. All I can sayis Ghoul is a Cozad fighter so you know how I feel about that. His morale is looking a bit low for thisfight and that is not what you want when you’re going for a title. Can Ghoul overcome this? Can he prove me wrong on the Cozad gym? Someone is walking away with that Welterweighttitle and whoever it is will have earned it tonight.

Light Heavyweight Title Fight

Cullen “The Shotgun” Castrello (2-0) vs. Jeffery Shannon(1-0)

And now we are here for our Main Event of the evening. To determine who will walk out with the LightHeavyweight Championship of NAF. Thisfight looks to be a chess match of Jiu Jitsu. Both fighters will look to take the other down and work their magic onthe ground. This fight could be over in30 seconds or turn into a grueling 5 round affair. Neither fighter has been out of the 1stround in any fight so if this fight does go into the championship rounds itcould be a matter of attrition to who comes out on top. Tonight look for whoever is the winner toleave the cage with a title belt and an arm or a leg!

With 3 titles on theline this looks to be an explosive car tonight. There are still seats available so tell your friends quick and see someNew Age Fighting Montreal History tonight!

New Age Fighting presents NAF 7 : Gives Vs. Von Kleissuer

On Saturday, December ,10th, 2011; Live from Wild Bob’s Bar in Montreal, New Age Fighting (NAF) makes its 7th appearance as a fight org showcasing the sports youngest and hungriest future MMA stars all under one roof. New Age Fighting looks to give young MMA artists fight experience and an opportunity to shine in the professional and competitive sport of mixed martial arts. For several men, their journey into their professional fight careers begins tonight. Also History will be made as the first NAF Heavyweight Champion will be crowned.

(170Lbs) Chuck Segal (0-1-0) vs. Marc Brodeur (0-7-0)

Chuck Segal is a ground specialist from Montreal who is making his 2nd appearance in an NAF cage. In his pro debut he fell to Alexandre Burrows in the 1st round via kimura. Look for Chuck to try and take the fight to the ground as soon as he can and look for the sub. Marc Brodeur is one of the more experienced fighters in the NAF’s 170 pound division. He has yet to win a fight in his pro carrier losing last time to Matt Sabre at NAF 2. Brodeur will be trying to keep the fight standing and he will probably look for the knockout.

Writers pick: Segal by first round submission

(265Lbs) Rahegal Targaryen (2-3-0) vs Anaconda Yadav (8-15-0)

Rahegal Targaryen is a BJJ brown belt from Vaes Dothrak. Fighting for the 2nd time in the NAF. In his last fight against Ismet Cenifovic he came away with a convincing victory via 1st round tapout due to kimura. Looking for his 2nd straight win look for Rahegal to try and control the fight on the ground. Anaconda Yadav hails from Kanpur India and is a submission specialist. After breaking an extensive losing streak Anaconda earned submission of the night in his last fight against Sean O’Keefe by a brilliant triangle at NAF 2. He will be looking to repeat his performance tonight. Either this is going to be a grappling match or a bang fest.....my pick is the later.

Writers pick: Anaconda by TKO in the second round

(135 Lbs) Jude Jones (1-0-0) vs Rock Prescott (1-0-0)

“The Spider” Jude Jones is a Muay Thai fighter from Brooklyn. Jones is making his NAF debut. Look for Jones to clinch early and push the pace from there. Rock Prescott is a ground expert from New York City. He is also making his NAF debut. Rock will probably look for the takedown early and try and work the submission game. Both fighters are undefeated in there pro carriers but only one can leave with their perfect record intact.

Writers pick: Prescott’s wrestling/BJJ skills will overpower Jones. Submission in the 1st round.

(265 Lbs) Larry Lightfoot (1-0-0) vs Timmy Ramrimez (0-0-0)

Larry Lightfoot is a MMA fighter from Cincinnati. Making his NAF debut Larry is looking for a second straight win. He won his first fight in impressive fashion winning by triangle choke in just 37 seconds of the first round. Timmy Ramrimez is a boxer from Montreal also making his Org. debut. Timmy has heavy hands and a good chin. Look for him to strike from the outside and keep the fight satnding.

Writers pick: Lightfoot via Majority decision

(205 Lbs) Art Vandelay (0-1-0) vs Cwetkoy Iwanow (0-1-0)

Vandelay hails from NYC. His lone pro fight did not go so well for Art it ended in the first round by a devastating TKO. He will try and better is performance tonight. Iwanow is a Bulgarian born fighter now training in Montreal. He is also looking for his first pro win. He has solid boxing and great BJJ so he should be comfortable anywhere the fight goes.

Writers pick: Iwanow by 2nd round submission due to strikes

(265 Lbs) Darcy Kyryluik (0-1-0) vs Viseron Targaryen(3-4-0)

Darcy Kyryluik is a MMA fighter from Regina. Making his NAF debut Darcy is looking to make a name for himself in the HW division. He lost his last fight to Manuel Soto by a submission. Look for Darcy to keep the fight standing and try and bang it out with Targaryen. Viseron is a BJJ purple belt from Braavos. He is a well rounded fighter who likes to have a war. He is on a 3 fight losing streak and will be looking to turn his record around.

Writers pick: Targaryen by 3rd round TKO

( 185 Lbs) Wanderlei Silva (1-1-0) vs Anderson Silvu (8-4-0)

Wanderlei Silva is a monster in the stand up game plain and simple. His boxing is ranked among the best in the NAF. Coming off his first carrier win at NAF 3 vs Randy Randolf a remarkable 35 second TKO, will be looking to keep the fight standing and will try and bang out a victory.”The spider” Anderson Silvu is a very well rounded fighter out of Rio, Brazil. In his last fight against Bones Jones in the QFC he won by a unanimous decision. He looked good at times in his previous fight and will look to take the fight to the ground and look for the sub

Writers pick: “The Axe Murderer” will live up to his name and KO Silvu in the 1st round

( 205 Lbs) Marcin Najman (0-0-0) vs Danger David (0-1-0)

This match-up was a head scratcher. Najman is a great boxer from Poland making his pro debut. Najman will look to keep the fight standing and will want to bang. David on the other hand is well rounded and likes to mix things up. He lost his first fight in the QFC before signing with the NAF. Look for both of these fighter to try and make a statement early...this is my pick for fight of the night.

Writers pick: Marcin wins in a 3 round war via split decision

Co-Main event (185 Lbs) Mike Smith (2-0-0) vs Sean Thompson (5-2-1)

This fight has a lot of title shot implications. Mike Smith the undefeated fighter from Sunnyvale Trailer Park here in Canada will look to use his boxing pedigree to control what will surely be a stand-up slug fest. Sean Thompson the self proclaimed “Greatest Man Ever” has solid stand-up skills with a good chin. I think Thompson will try and test Smith’s chin early in the fight and look for the knock out.

Writers pick: Smith via TKO in the 3rd round

Main Event 265 Lbs CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT

Ryan Gives (3-1-0) vs Brutus Von Kleissuer (2-0-0)

Gives is a BJJ purple belt from Athens Greece. He is a strong wrestler who surprised the MMA world by knocking out John Axeford in 52 seconds of the first round. I see more of the same in this fight, both fighters are hungry and are very good on the ground i see this being a contest that will be settled on the feet. Brutus Von Kleissuer is from right here in Montreal. Looking to make a name for himself he is in it tough against Gives. If Brutus can get this fight on the ground he will have a good chance. Whoever your cheering for don’t blink because this fight could be over just as soon as it starts.

Writers Pick: “Captain” Ryan Gives becomes the king of the Heavyweight division via 1st round KO!

New Age Fighting presents NAF 8 : Soto Vs. Mael

On Saturday ,December ,24th, 2011; Live from Wild Bob’s Bar in Montreal, New Age Fighting (NAF) makes its 8th appearance as a fight org showcasing the sports youngest and hungriest future MMA stars all under one roof. New Age Fighting looks to give young MMA artists fight experience and an opportunity to shine in the professional and competitive sport of mixed martial arts. For several men, their journey into their professional fight careers begin tonight. All of tonight’s fights are non title and will be three rounds.

(185Lbs) Tibor Sari (0-0-0) vs. Calgary Alberta (0-1-0)

Our first fight of the night features Tibor Sari a Muay Thai fighter from Hungary making his pro and NAF debut, against Calgary Alberta making his 2nd appearance in the NAF cage. He looks to better his performance this time around. Not much to know about Sari he has decent kickboxing skills and not much else. Calgary on the other hand has well...great hands and an iron jaw to go with it. This fight will stay standing for about 6 seconds until Sari gets knocked on his ass.

Writers pick: Calgary tramples Sari in the 1st round via KO

(170Lbs) Ricardo Rodriguez(0-0-0) vs Chris Muhammed(0-0-0)

Ricardo is a BJJ purple belt out of Los Angeles California. Muhammed is a boxer from Toronto Ontario. Both fighters are making their pro debut and will be trying to make a name for themselves. This is a classic striker vs grappler matchup. Look for the fight to be real quick either way, Ricardo’s ground game is far superior to Chris’ but, Muhammed could end the fight with one punch.

Writers pick: Rodriguez by submission decision

(265 Lbs) Billy Bouraka(8-11-0) vs Sean O’Keefe(5-10-0)

This Heavyweight bout features a couple of Montreal boys who also happen to be some of the most experienced fighters in this division. Bill Bouraka is the total package, he has a purple belt in BJJ, some of the best stand-up and is a solid wrestler. Sean O’Keefe is a well rounded fighter who is on a 7 fight losing streak. This fight will probably end up on the ground and if that happens i can see the” Bully” Taking care of business.

Writers pick: Billy will “Bully” O’Keefe in the 1st round and earn the TKO

(185Lbs) Will Cleveland(0-0-0) vs Shaune Scally(3-5-0)

Will Cleveland is a superb boxer from Roma Italy who also has a solid Greco roman wrestling background. He now trains at Canadian Top Team here in Montreal. He will probably want to keep this fight standing and use his wrestling to stuff the takedowns. Scally is a BJJ purple belt from Southampton England. He has more experience than his opponent, this being his 9th pro fight. Scally will try and take this fight to the ground immediately and work the submission game.

Writers pick: Cleveland via 3rd round Knockout.

(170Lbs) David Alexander(0-0-0) vs Andreago Silva(1-0-0)

David Alexander is a boxer from Renfrew Canada making his pro debut tonight. This kid has one punch power in both hands Silva is going to have to keep his head up and take this fight to the ground. Silva is a purple belt in BJJ with limited stand-up skills. He won his first fight via arm triangle in the 3rd round. Look for more of the same from him.

Writers pick: Silva gets the sub in the 2nd round.

(265 Lbs) Alexander Emelianenko(0-0-0) vs Jay Rock(0-0-0)

The Russian born Emelianenko is a stand-up specialist with no MMA experience. Look for wild punches and a solid chin from this guy. Jay Rock is much of the same, no pro MMA experience solid chin and devastating hands. This should be a good one....DON’T BLINK!

Writers pick: Jay Rock in a 3 round war earns the TKO. My pick for fight of the night

(135 Lbs) Fred Durst(0-1-0) vs Tomi Mcdonald(1-0-0)

Durst is a decent boxer with decent wrestling abilities. He lost his first fight via submission. He will try and keep this fight standing. Tomi McDonald is one of the best Kickboxers in the 135 division. He will have no problem standing with Fred. Look for clinch work from Tomi early.

Writers pick: Durst via unanimous decision

( 205Lbs) Jay Daniels(1-0-0) vs Jebba Johnson(0-2-0)

Daniels is a well rounded MMA fighter from right here in Montreal making his 1st appearance in an NAF cage. Jebba Johnson is from Hell...well in his last two fights he got pounded back home. He will have to push the pace on the ground if he wants to win this fight. I personaly think this fight is going to be a snooze fest lost of hugging and rolling around with not much action but I have been wrong before.

Writers pick: Jebba pulls out the victory with a split decision

Co-Main event(185 Lbs)

Cody Yeary(1-0-0) vs Obsrana Sraka (0-0-0)

Cody Yeary is a beast of a wrestler from Regina Saskatchewan who won his last fight over “Jax” Teller in a dominating 1st round ground and pound TKO. Sraka is a boxer from Gowno Poland. His hands look to be lethal but will he get to use them? Look for Cody to go for the takedown as soon as the bell rings and look for the G&P victory.

Writers pick: The “Vanilla Gorilla” comes away with the ground and pound TKO in the 1st round

Main Event 265 Lbs

Manuel Soto(4-0-0) vs Alan Mael(7-1-0)

Manuel Soto might just have the best BJJ skills in the HW division. His last victory over Darcy Kyryluik in a convincing submission display at a QFC fight night before both fighters signed with the NAF. Alan Mael on the other hand might just be the best fighter in the NAF period. His last 4 fights have been impressive and his only loss coming by a huge 1st round knockout that no one could have seen coming. This is going to be a good fight.

Writers Pick: Soto finally meets his match. Mael wins via KO in the 3rd round.

NAF 9 Preview

NAF 9 Preview

. This Saturday Night New Age Fighting: Montrealwill be live from the Wild Bob’s Bar with NAF 9: Ghoul vs. Dervius

“Lion Heart” Chris Irvine (1-0) vs. “Jendo” JamalHenderson (1-0)

We start off in the Light Heavyweight divisionwith 2 fighters looking to continue their winning ways. This fight should be interestingas both fighters like to take the fight to the ground. Jendo has been accusedof laying and praying to win his fight. But hey you can’t stop him then youdon’t deserve to win. Well Chris Irvine has no problem hitting the ground andwas better wrestling then Jendo so he may be the one to takedown Jendo first.Irvine is a submission expert so no matter who gets the takedown in this oneIrvine will be threatening Jendo from either the top or bottom. Can Jendo keephis lay n pray style to win? Or will he find out that you can’t play that gamewith a BJJ expert?

Sexy “Hello!” Bomb (0-0) vs. “Gare Bear” GarrettHimmelman (1-0)

Moving on to the Heavyweight division Sexy Bomb ismaking his debut against The “Gare Bear” Garrett Himmelman. Sexy Bomb is a goodwrestler but has little BJJ. He also has a decent striking skillset but thatplays right into the hands of the dangerous Gare Bear. Himmelman might not beable to keep this fight standing like he wants but if it does go to the groundhe is more skilled for a Jiu Jitsu matchup. Can Sexy Bomb take this fight tothe ground and survive or will The “Gare Bear” keep it standing and look forhis 2nd KO in a row?

Greco Roman (1-1) vs. “Throwed” Blowed Mexican(1-1)

2 Welterweight fighters look to rebound of theirlast fights. Greco Roman was looking great in his last fight and he was on hisway to winning the Welterweight title if not for being caught in a triangle. Heshouldn’t have to worry about that in his fight with Blowed Mexican. BlowedMexican will be looking to take Roman’s head off. Greco Roman has a granitechin so he may be able to take a shot or two in order to get the fight to theground where he wants it. Will Greco Roman be able to get the fight to theground and control Blowed Mexican or will Mexican punch through Roman’s chin?

Demian Maia (2-1) vs. Richard “is” Hard (2-1)

This middleweight fight is a rematch that will bevery important for both fighters. The date is October 29th and NAF : Montrealis debuting its first ever fight card. These two fighters put it all on theline in the Co-main event , and in a fight that went all 3 rounds , Hard cameout the victor. Maia says “not again.”. This looks to be a classic striker vsgrappler matchup. Maia looked amazing in his last outing. After taking somehard kicks in the first couple minutes of the fight Maia finally got the fightto the ground and quickly dismantled his opponent with a first roundsubmission. There’s no doubt in my mind that that’s what Maia’s going to try todo in this fight. Hard on the other hand hasn’t fought since there first matchup but has since then received his blue belt in brazilian jiu jitsu but will nodoubt be looking to keep this fight standing where he has a distinct advantage. Both fighters are very capable of walking out of the ring with a win. Who willbe able to impose there gameplan?

The Greatest “Undefeated” Fighter Ever (1-1) vs.Jake Jonathan (0-2)

Another middleweight fight and the last fight onthe undercard pits two hungry fighters against eachother. After gettingdominated in his last fight Fighter Ever learned that there are better fightersout there. I believe that was a huge wake up call for “Undefeated”. I think hesaw first hand that he could get taken down and controlled by a betterwrestler. Luckily he should have a slight advantage in the wrestling and a niceone in the BJJ department. Jake Jonathan , coming off back to back losses , isjust as if not more hungry for a Victory in the NAF. Jonathan has shown greatstandup , especially kicks and should be looking to keep the fight standing andlook to chop down Fighter ever. I say this fight could end via violent ko orsub or be an exciting 3 round war. Either way someone’s going to walk out witha well deserved victory in the NAF.

Jeffery Shannon (1-1) vs. “Bruiser” Stephan Boater(1-0)

Here we are with the first main card fight of thenight. Two talented light heavyweights will look to establish themselves withanother professional mixed martial arts victory. Shannon coming off a toughloss to current champion of the division Cullen “The Shotgun” Castrello in afive round war that won fight of the night , also a fight in which Shannondidn’t really get to show off his main skill set which is his jiu jitsu game.On the other side is Boater coming off a dominant victory in his last outing. WillBoater look to do the same and use his superior wrestling skills and takeShannon down or will this be a stand up war? This fights got FOTN written allover it.

Miguel Berrao (0-0) vs. Amo “Auner” Resbroko (0-3)

What can I say about Berrao. Hes making his promma debut right here in NAF and he looks to be a very promising young talent inthe light heavyweight division. Very well rounded and good everywhere he shouldhave the advantage anywhere the fight goes.At least on paper that is. The last thinga young up and comer should do is over look Amo Resbroko. On a three fightlosing streak Resbroko’s been in there with some tough guys and knows that hemust literally fight for the sake of his career. You never know what someonewith everything to lose might do in the cage , and because of that I can seethis fight going either way.

Guy “Gangsta” Carllson (0-2) vs. Quinito “thefilipeno superman” Pecson (0-1)

This should be a very intriguing heavyweightfight. Both fighters coming off losses to tough fighters that used theirstrengths and exploited their opponents weaknesses. Neither of these fightershas really gotten to show what there all about. Both fighters with a decentground game and decent stand up. Its hard to say who’s got the edge in this onebut I wouldn’t blink.

Vincent Vega (1-0) vs. “Pure Holocaust” Gerd VonReitzenstein (2-1)

And here we are the Co-main event and awelterweight bout between two future prospects. Vega made his pro mma debutright here in the NAF and man was he impressive. With his great wrestling andgrappling he finished his opponent Grubbs in just about three minutes. My guessis that we’ll see more of the same. Some might see “Pure Holocaust” as a sortof sacrificial lamb coming into this fight but like any true mma fan knows, anything could happen in there. My guess is that Von Reitztnstein will look toclinch up with his opponent and utilize his muay thai advantage. Look for himto try to throw knees with bad intentions on em. Will Vega walk out undefeatedor will Von Reitztnstein pull off an upset?

Welterweight Title Fight

“Mute” Mai Ghoul (3-0) vs. Jack “Jick Jock”Dervius (2-0)

This is the main event of the evening! Five roundsin the welterweight division to see who will walk away still undefeated andmore importantly with that NAF world championship belt. In November Ghoul madehistory becoming the first NAF welterweight champion. In an amazing fight aftergetting battered and bruised “Mute” pulled off the Hail Mary submission in thethird with an amazing triangle. With all three wins via submission this will bethe first fight for Ghoul in which he’s fighting someone on his level when itcomes to the ground game. With such even BJJ games it will be interesting tosee who establishes dominance on the ground. With the older fighter we see adominant advantage when it comes to throwing the hands, and I’m sure he willlook to keep the fight on the feet and look to KO the current champ. Can he? Whowill be able impose their ground game? Will we see another submission win fromGhoul? Will Ghoul defend his title and leave as a true champion or will Derviusleave with the belt? All these questions will be answered December 24!

NAF 10 Preview

It's time for another double header from New Age Fighting tobring in the New Year with a bang! NAFwill hold its biggest card New Years Eve when Doc Thomas faces Raimo Tuomela to what looks like a soldout Underground with 1 thousand screaming fans. What a way to bring in the New Year!

Nerby Gotid (0-1) vs. Igor "Incredible" Golliath (0-0)

Some NAF newcomers in the Heavyweight division will start ofthis great night for NAF. Nerby Gotidgot caught sleeping in his last fight and was submitted in just over aminute. He will look to prove that hiswrestling is wonderful and he can stay safe against Igor Golliath. Golliath is a competent boxer but is also quite comfortable off hisback. He will most likely have to dealwith that tonight has Gotid should be able to take him down and will. Golliath is either going to have to submitGotid or knock him out to avoid being on his back for 3 rounds.

Brock Lesnar (0-1) vs. "Domination" Justin Cole (1-1)

Heavyweight Justin Cole likes to keep the fight standing andbang away against his opponent. Aftergetting submitted in his last fight Brock Lesnar is going to look to keep thisfight standing. Lesnar should be able toshow his superior boxing skills against Cole, but Cole is not afraid to clinchup and use some dirty boxing to get the advantage. If the fight does hit the ground Lesnar willhave to avoid some of Cole's Jiu Jitsu. I see this fight to keep on its feet and really give a great fight forthe fans.

"The Forks" Winnipeg Manitoba (1-0) vs. Tommy MacKenzie (1-0)

Two young undefeated fighters in the middleweight divisionwill look to jump up to the next level in this fight. Manitoba likes to take the fight to theground and mix up his attacks to wear down his opponent. He is not going to want to do that againstMacKenzie. Mackenzie is dangerous on theground and in his last fight was taken down and threw up a triangle finish inless the 30 seconds to earn the sub of the night. Oh did I mention this was against Winnipegpartner. Manitoba will be looking toget revenge for his teammate in this fight. But can he avoid the ground game or will he fall victim like histeammate?

Ryan Jones (0-1) vs. Tyson Black (0-0)

Ryan Jones on paper could be the most dangerous ground fightin the Light Heavyweight division. If hegets his act together. In his last fighthe had difficulty getting the fight to the ground and wore himself out and waseasy pickings. We will see if he learnedanything from that fight when he takes Tyson Black. Black may also be difficult to takedown if hechooses and he would be wise to avoid the ground game to. Black should want to avoid the ground gameand try and pick apart Jones on his feet. If Black does get taken down or takes down Jones he may find out whyJones is so dangerous.

"Stone Fist" Ryan Willis (2-0) vs. "Unbreakable" BJ Andrews(1-0)

Ryan Willis has proven he is able to finish the fightanywhere it goes. Willis likes to takethe fight to the ground and finish it anyway he can. BJ Andrews can hold his own on the ground andill look to use his superior Jiu Jisu if and when it does go to theground. Will Willis able to avoid anydanger while is his punching Andrews in the face. Or will this fight turn into a submissionbattle for both of them?

Jake "Bearfist" Anakin (1-0) vs. Magnus Mason (0-0)

Jake Anakin likes to keep the fight standing and is difficultto take down. Magnus Mason may want totake the fight to the ground but would be better off standing and trading withAnakin and look to clinch him and give him a lesson in Mauy Thai. The winner of this middleweight battle willbe the man who can be the aggressor and control where the fight takes place.

Ethan "Bio" Hazard (1-1) vs. Matt Sabre (1-1)

Quite simple hear in this welterweight action. This fight is going to the ground and someoneis leaving with a limb that doesn't belong to them!

Otto "More Beer Please" Weizenhuber (1-0) vs. Forrest "American"Griffin (0-2)

On paper his matchup looks ridiculous. This fight has already happened and wasfairly 1 sided. Well it is a special LightHeavyweight retirement match. Griffin islooking to call it quits and wanted to face the man that gave him his firstloss. Can Griffin overcome the odds andupset Weizenhuber? Or will Otto provethat the first fight has legit and he is just better then Griffin?

Middleweight Title Fight

"Bubbles" Mike Smith (2-0) vs. David Carwin (2-0)

Our Co Main Event is a title fight in the Middleweightdivision. "Bubbles made his NAF debut ingreat fashion in a hard hitting fight that won fight of the night. Now he finds himself in line for thetitle. In order to win though he willhave to get by the ground and pound king of NAF David Carwin. Smith loves to stand and throw bombs toknockout his opponent and so does Carwin. The only difference his Carwin puts you on your ass first and then rainsdown his shots. No one has made it outof the first round with Carwin and Smith may not be able to stop the takedowneither. Smith likes to finish his fightfast too but may find it difficult to stop Carwin. If he can get out of the first round we willbe able to test Carwin's stamina and find an opening to punch his way to thetitle. Either way I predict the KO ofthe night will be here.

Doc "The Bone Breaker" Thomas (18-10) vs. Ramio Tyomela (19-5-1)

How to you make the biggest fight in NAF history. Not hard really. But you take the 2 winners from the last 2super fights and you thrown them together! Doc Thomas is a dangerous fighter that likes to mix it up and likes tostrike some and take the fight to the ground and work his great groundgame. Ramio is a dangerous standup fighterand avoids the ground game as much as possible. So it comes down to can Thomas get the fight to the ground and outmatchRamio, or does Ramio stop the takedowns and make his a stand up war. Either way the fans win when these 2 titansclash to finish of 2011 and bring in 2012.

Dear Jack "Paper Champ" Dervius,

Henry Winkler is here to take away that undeserved belt you have. You won it before I got here and beat up a chump to get it. Once I dispose of Bernie McLeod, fighting you will seem like a joke. The only reason you get to hold on to that belt is because I asked for a tune up fight before smashing your face in. Keep training and praying because you're gonna need all the help you can get. Please hold on to your belt long enough for me to get a shot at beating you up. Thanks

Future Champ,

Henry Winkler
