Retiring

Hi all

As some of you already know I am winding up my involvement in the game. After two and a half years of playing my interest has waned to the point I'm not gameplanning or even checking the result of my fights, let along managing training or giving my gym the time it deserves. Mike will be releasing my fighters to the FA list so there will be some decentish veterans on the list quite soon. I want to stress that it isn't any change that Mike has made that has prompted this, I think he has done a stellar job in creating and evolving the game over the time I've been here.

A few thanks

Mike - see above

Franky Fin - I was involved with Syn right from the start and Franky has always been an absolute champion guy to work with.

Avon Barksdale, Chris Karter and the rest of the Convicted guys - They have done a great job with taking over Syn. Avon was always number one during the time I was number two (years ago now lol) and is a top guy. Chris has always been great to work with as well and has been very supportive of me running the SCE gym.

Matt Mac - I've had at least one or two fighters in CFC for a long time and Matt has always been a top org owner while I've been there.

Franky Redz - For providing my guys great training over the last few years.

Ari Gold and Brian Robertson - TFC and MIFC were legendary orgs which were a privelege to be a part of.

All the other org owners I'm currently involved with - Mentor from GAMMA, Serge from RTT, C Bd from HWP

cheers all and good luck, after a record of 302-224-5 (3 NCs) thats me signing off :)

PK

Paul is a journeyman of this game and in his own right should be inducted into the Hall of Fame. I think Paul has more fights than any other manager in this game. Somebody like him, who takes short notice fights, who held on to his original fighters no matter what, who fought anybody offered to him (at least anybody I've ever offered), and stepped up to the plate when very few would... it was a fun ride man and I'm glad I got to work with you in game, like PBR I hate to see you go but wish you the best of luck outside this game.

Thanks for the kind words guys. My fighters are now on the FA list, I'll be interested to see who gets picked up and who retires, and how they do with more active management.

Thanks man, yes you are right in the time I have played I only ever knocked back one fight and it was for stylistic reasons (fighter had fought 3 strong wrestlers in a row and wanted to try him against a different type of fighter for the 4th fight) Lots of short notice fights to help orgs fill cards at last minute too. I've always taken the attitude that having a good relationship with your org owners is as important a part of the game than anything else. I definately culled a few of my original guys (mostly the slow learners) but 4 of them are still around the place (Bogan, Gracie, Barnes and Limba)
