Anyone have some unknown young beast that everyone will know the name of this time next year? Come out and say it, and we can all laugh when he finally fights decent opposition and gets exposed, or god forbid, is actually any good!

I'll go first:

"Cowboy" Dan Leighty (3-0), 20 years old.

So, when you see his name on the login screen in 12 months time, or possibly on the free agents list; remember that you heard it here first.

Who you got?

http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=131562 is coming along nicely. He's proven his worth more than once (the Muresan fight stands out), just turned 21, and I have very high hopes for him. Learning speed is above average too. Going for a Chute Boxe style build on this one, so we'll see how that works out over time.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=128046 doesn't have the best hiddens (prefers standup etc), but I love the guy. He's had a few losses vs very solid competition lately, but I expect him to bounce back nicely. He's an insanely fast learner, and his primaries are underwhelming compared to his secondaries. Not bad for a fairly young fighter with decent experience, though.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=121120 is my favorite up-and-comer. I've been keeping quiet about him to let him develop normally for a while, but seeing as his rank is really high at this point and he's signed to one of the top orgs in the world I don't see the point.

Great learner, seems to have the best overall hiddens of all of my fighters, and his name is deliciously geeky. He's probably gonna get his ass handed to him in Blitz, but that's fine by me.

He's lost twice, once against a vastly superior fighter and once because I shit the bed re: sliders (avenged that loss though). His next opponent is insanely good, so that should be fun.

Looks like a couple of those dudes are on the cusp of greatness already, fighting in top orgs. Anyone got any post-training changes builds who might have the goods? Leighty was my last fighter to at least get some training in before the maintenance era.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=161690 shows both chin and power, has good confidence, and could turn out pretty well down the line.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=156852 has a granite chin, seems to have power, has excellent confidence and good killer instinct. He lost by KO in his fifth fight because of a total mismatch (which I accepted anyways because our hype was close).

Still hard to say as they're both so untested though.

Mark Edwards 7-0-1 (6 KO) is probably my best prospect. Shame about his shitty learning speed though, may prevent him becoming a top guy.

In Sydney too! Would love a shot at stealing his hype, but I fear Axe may get you first.

All the best for the fight, your opponent has a big skill advantage but stranger things have happened.

That's more like it! Good to see top managers getting their fighters fights early in their career. I've never been a fan of the whole "project" deal - I used to fight the second they turned 19, but after a couple of bad showings lately with my young fellas I haven't had the balls. But fuck it, there's orgs for fighters like that who are equally as bad as mine. I'm going to get them contracts this week.

Projects are terminally boring.

Mack "Daddy" Speed

7-0, 7 T(KO) wins. Hes not the fastest learner but his other hiddens seems to be quite good so Im hoping he will be challenging some top dogs in future. =)

Looks like a scary dude, he's beaten some decent guys with plenty more training in them too. Just got to round out his skills with some sparring. You need to invite some friends to your gym so your prospects can get sparring like this:

http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=149811 my TUM fighter, no fantastic hiddens outside of injury but all his hiddens seem to be at least average.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=129268 riciulously good hiddens suspected with him, he has granite chin for sure, probable KO power, probably heart, decent injury hidden, average confidence, shown killer instinct repeatedly. skills lag behind majorly though.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=121039 the pride of my stable, he just started his sparring last week, not as good hidden wise as the guy listed above him with only heart being for sure known, but far ahead of the guy above him with skills.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=91187 Not as young as the other guys posted here but unknown so far, hoping he will "make his mark" in 2012. Every hidden I can tell anything about has looked good so far.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=124517 Younger and is very likely to take another loss soon but I really like what I see of his hiddens (except injuries) and he should be a threat to anyone in a few more months.

I cry myself to sleep every night I didn't make this guy an 18 year old project. He has Massive KO Power and a granite chin. His first 4 fights when to decision because I never set his sliders so he spammed takedowns and kicks with Crap MT and Wrestling, but since I set his sliders every single win has been a 1st round KO.

The next superstar from the Jokinen family tree : Otto Jokinen

Pretty fast learner, has had Determined and Heavy Handed on the Tale of the Tape and found his place in the 205 division now. Might even jack him up to HW eventually.

Consider me a fan of Pain Statement, he's a nasty fighter.
