Guest
So far I have seen granite and solid chins what's the difference between them and also is there any other names for them besides them two, apologises if it seems like a noob question but I'm just curious
Face Kicker
"granite chin" is the best. "solid chin" is good, but definitely a step below granite. off the top of my head those are the only two statements that can show up about a fighter's chin. Guest
does it depend on the hidden of choosing chin?

Kronix
there are not a lot of hiddens that improve over time and if I'm not mistaken it's only the experience hidden that increase as time goes by and your fighter gets more experience from fighting. The way the hidden works is that you get a random roll on a dice from 1-150 with 150 being the best. Selecting a hidden only gives a 30 points boost so even tho you select good chin, if you luck out and roll 1 on the chin hidden your total would be 31 out of 150 and that would be an absolute terrible hidden. The tale of the tape will change over time depending on what your fighter improves on but he will never improve his hidden so if you show good chin and then on the next fight it says "very fast" then it could very well be that you have increased your speed attribute and it now has higher value then your previous tale of the tape info. This is how you can evaluate how good your fighter is and that is also why every fighter is unique as you can't improve the hiddens once the dice has been rolled. just pray to the mma gods that you get a decent roll or it's sack the fighter and try again... but ofc you will not know this until you've had a few fights. Guest
Another thing to note is that 'Good Chin' appearing on the left hand side means your power isn't top class. It can still be very good though: http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=8209 http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=177080 http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=168852 http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=169721 All showed 'Good Chin' and they all seem to have some power (especially Paulsen, and Leonardo did show 'Heavy Hands' on the right hand side later on, but that's partially influenced by punching skill). Guest
yeah I see what you mean, heavy hands would be influenced by punching skill
ArtieBanks
In addition to what Mannetosen said. If its early on and you haven't boosted your physicals up then sometimes good chin will be there but power could still be really good for example. http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=361692 he had close to feeble strength http://www.mmatycoon.com/fightcommentary.php?FTID=466456 He had wonderful strength when i cut him so i assume its around the same. Don't underestimate the power of Physicals when it comes to TOTT.
