Scottie Power:

Anderson is just a little upset, of course he's not afraid of anyone in the 155lb division, he's completely destroyed all of his opponents so far, Mester would have been his first real challenge but Anderson has fought Agent Smith and WON. Now that's what I call an accomplishment. Anderson has been my favorite fighter to manage and train alongside with, he fully focuses on training and winning, this is a very difficult time for him, knowing that he has just lost it all and none of it was his fault, he just followed orders to get on the plane, it was all my fault. I'm lucky to have a guy like Anderson on my roster. And unfortunately not even the great Mike Tycoon was able to fix the problem. I'm sure Anderson would love nothing more than to fight Mester, and when he gets the opportunity to fight you Nxon, to use you as a punching bag.

Well I must get back to training. Those weights aren't going to lift themselves.

Mester:

I'm sure Anderson is not scared. He probably wants nothing more then to fight me. I won't say you lost it all Anderson. My manager has spoken to Rory about this situation. He told Rory to choose the best fight for the company. There is a possibly that I could be fighting Anderson again or Grimm in the finals. I'm willing to fight whoever. Everyone is tough in this division. Regardless of who ends up fighting Nxon; it will be a tough challenge for the champ.

Ok I decided to let Mester advance to the final against Grim Reaper. I think its only fair to be honest even though I know Scottie really wanted the fight but accidentally flew to London. So, I shall send the offers out soon.

WPL: 16 Lights out in London

Well since we are coming to the UK how about a little music to get the pugilistic spirit flowing? Since our esteemed org owner Rory Daly has declined to give me any music to post for this I’ll decide then. A little Punk Rock anyone?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eEfDPqevhA&hd=1

Well now that the mood has been properly set let's get to the violence.

Steve "The Squirrel" River vs. Dark Striker

We kick off our first night in the way our naturally improper hosts would love to see, a brutal and possibly very short fight. Steve River is in every way the superior fighter here but he greatly lacks the one thing that Dark Striker has, that being of course a chin made of Iron and a heart full of fire. River tapped to strikes in his last fight against bellator tournament standout Raijin Kage. But Dark Striker got put through the goddamn meat grinder against the venerable Mr Anderson and despite being cut and taking a horrific beating he never even thought of quitting. Striker takes this home, somehow, someway; he will find a way to win this fight.

Prediction: Dark Striker by TKO

Faruk Tanchangya vs. Dy "Marra" Batista

Faruk is an excellent up and comer with the skill set to take the fight anywhere it needs to go his clinch game proved too much for Aguinaldo Salcido when the two met at WPR: 13, earning him a third round TKO victory. His opponent DY Batista is a damn good boxer with a solid wrestling game to keep it on the feet, his quick hands and KO power have proven a tough test for his opponents with his only loss coming to number 1 contender Sam Shields. Although Faruk isn’t quite up to Shields level yet his clinch work is solid and I think Batista won’t have an answer for it.

Prediction: Faruk by TKO

"The first emperor" Fabolous Fjodor vs. Peter McDonald

Fabolous Fjodor is a cagey veteran or 4 different orgs and comes with a solid all around game that has come with mixed results so far. Peter McDonald is A pure ground fighter with a brown belt coming off a tough decision victory over fellow brown belt Renato Lita in his last fight. While McDonald BJJ is unquestionable everything else about his skill set is. Fjodor should pick up a win here a McDonald just doesn’t have the wrestling game to get it to the mat.

Prediction: Fjodor by decision

"Axwell" Axel Hedfors vs. Johan "The Torture" Velasco

Axel Hedfors is a solid boxer with dynamite in his hands and a blue belt just in case he can’t stay upright. Both his wins have been quick and brutal ending both his fights in the Wolf Palace in a combined time of just under a minute. But he will be tested here tonight as Johan Velasco has a solid clinch game and uses serious elbows to cut his opponents to ribbons before dropping the to the mat. Velasco is a better rounded fighter and has a proven clinch game but can he get on the inside before Hedfors uncorks another one of his heart stopping right hands?

Prediction: Velasco by TKO

Nathan "Knuckles" Silver vs. Raijin Kage

Nathan Silver is a notoriously one dimensional boxer who got exposed by Grim Reaper and got tossed from the Bellator tournament like a hooligan from Wembley stadium. He has since that fight looked to improve his Muay Thai and I must say, it has grown by leaps and bounds. But his biggest weakness is and has always been his ground game something Raijin Kage has proven in his last fight. Surviving all three rounds with Nikola Mester on top of you is as far as I am concerned proof positive of Raijin’s brown belt isn’t just for show. Raijin is also a better wrestler and is fighting in his own backyard so you know he’ll be out there looking for a finish that is probably easier to find than British territory on a map from 1760.

Prediction: Kage by submission

Max "Magneto" Eisenhardt vs. Hitokiri "The Manslayer" Batosai

Max Eisenhardt is a very good striker and wrestler coming off a tough loss to BJJ ace Jaques Don Pierre at the TUF finals. But tapping to Don Pierre in the WPL is like getting KOed by Mr Invincible. If you haven’t done it you haven’t really been in a fight yet. But there should be none of that ground game silliness in this fight because Batosai is a nasty Muay thai brawler with a nasty clinch game which he used to put world class boxer Matheus Ruas to sleep in just 30 seconds. With thunderous knees and a healthy dose of KO power Magneto’s untested clinch game could make him easy pickings for the manslayer tonight.

Prediction: the manslayer by KO

"The Last Key" Owen Rose vs. Richard Jay "Ace” Franlkin

Owen Rose is an excellent wrestler with decent boxing but had a tough match up in his last fight with Muay Thai wrecking machine Scottie Power. But you have to say he proved his solid chin in that fight after eating over sixty kicks in just 2 rounds before eating a massive straight right that put him out. Richard Franklin is an excellent boxer and BJJ purple belt coming off what had to be a gratifying split decision win over his nemesis Randall White a man who previously tapped him out with just 5 seconds left in a title fight. Franklin is a better striker and holds an edge in the submission game so I think he takes this where ever it goes.

Prediction: Franklin by decision

Mari Juana vs. Ragners "Dzabis" Dzigurs

Mari Juana is having a tough run of it here going just 1-4-1 since entering the org despite solid boxing and a BJJ purple belt. He is coming off a majority draw a fight which he controlled his fellow purple belt on the ground but got tagged in the stand up game. Ragners is an incredible wrestler and competent striker who is coming off an impressive TKO win a fight in which he totally controlled his man in the clinch before putting the knuckles to him with solid dirty boxing. He’s a white belt but Mari doesn’t have anywhere near the wrestling to get him to the ground and I think Mari Juana is just about cashed out.

Prediction: Ragners by TKO

Chip Freedom vs. Slim "superman" Shady

In a clash of management titans we have a fight featuring the illustrious Mike Tycoon, the creator and driving force behind the entire Tycoon world vs. the creator of this exceptional organization, the Wolf Palace London Rory Daly. Mike’s fighter Chip Freedom is a crafty veteran of over 43, that’s right 43 fights and is incredibly well rounded, excelling in every area of the fight but Rory’s fighter Slim Shady is more of a ground specialist training out of Vae Victus fight team the same gym that produced WPL lightweight champ Tomas Nxon. Slim has a brown belt but gives up quite a bit of Muay Thai skill and programming knowledge to Chip. I’d call it a tossup but Chip seem slightly fatigued from his plane ride and I think that will be just the edge Slim needs to end this fight.

Prediction: Slim by decision

Dahl Haas vs. "Nightmare" Freddy Krugerman

Well after months spent chirping at each other and even a few backstage brawls these two will finally get the chance to settle the score in the ring, for all the world to see. Dahl Haas is a native Londoner fighting out of Tokyo. This man is a world class boxer and exceptional wrestler who’s been on a tear knocking out everyone in his path since his career began. But Freddy is no slouch either possessing almost identical striking skill except he trades off boxing for muay thai with pretty good wrestling but the real danger here is his skill on the floor where he holds a huge BJJ advantage sporting a Purple belt compared to Dahl’s white belt. It’s safe to assume if Freddy can get it to the ground he’ll have no issues pulling off a quick submission but Dahl holds a decent edge in the wrestling department and might be able to stay upright, But isn’t that what the fans want any way? Hell this fight should be the statement that the WPL is here to make its mark on this fair city. But all things considered, Freddy’s just got more ways to win.

Prediction: Freddy by submission

Freddy Krugerman:

I got a feeling Haha's won't be showing up to this fight, I give him quite an awful nightmare last night that he got trapped into and he ended up being late for his flight, and while he's travelling I can't even guarantee it's towards London, or the more likely fact of reaching London in time to get his ass kicked.

Randall White

Is there no honor amongst you peasants to fight the former champ? Rory is doing his job but so far two fight offers for the 10th and i can't get an opponent. I don't care if it's the 10th or 16th of August one of you chumps step up and fight me

Freddy Krugerman:

I was wrong, Hahas did show up literally 5 mins before the fight, he tried to be a tricky little bastard, but showing up 5 mins before the fight is not the best way to go. I played around with him a little, it was too much fun. You know how easy I could of finished him on the ground, but I didn't bother.

This is how much respect for the guy and his fighting skills I have:

Krugerman is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Haas's shoulder. That is not cool.

Well guys with the Bellator tournament winding down I was thinking maybe it's time to get back in the cage. Any takers?

Do keep in mind that I've had quite a long layoff and I am VASTLY improved from where I was when this started.

Lightweight non title or a 145lb catchweight with any of those little guys would be fun.

No takers then? I'm must say I'm quite disapointed in all of my division. Especially after all the endless shit talk that went on during the tournament. So you're going to make me call somebody out, eh?

How about it Nate Silver? You have no fight going on and you did an awful lot of talking and I believe you still owe me a beer.

He speaks of what he does as art. But what is an artist that hasn't explored the darkest parts of his mind? He brags about his new techniques and 6 or 7th Black belt as though it means anything. Well the only thing that will be black on him as he enters the cage is his pupils. He will enter the ring with the minion of the voices in a desperate struggle to make them go quiet. He wants this to advance himself in his art or into title contention. All my previous opponents came into that cage with their wants riding on their shoulders. Weighing them down. Heavy, sullen, hopeless wants guiding them swiftly downward into the abyss. Into my home. Their home. Our own little playground of evil. A dubious honor in an ill-fated world. We see him lost and confused in the bleakness.A place he has never been before.

The darkest part of his mind.

They say that eyes are the windows to the soul. Is it any coincidence that inside our various coloration the sits a solid core of Black. All men are evil, Some just don't embrace it quite as readily as others. But me, I live and thrive in the deepest darkest part of our collective minds and I intend to drag this so called artist into my home and sit calmly as he struggles for air. It won't be long now and the voices chants grow more powerful and insistent by the day. Their raving turning into a well orgainised chourus of destruction.

It is a man's own mind, not his enemy or foe, that lures him to evil ways.-Budda

See you on the 16th Hashim.

Yep Mr Invincible, has been sent to train in the Tycoon Gym until his fight with Vancan, also I didn't let him use my jet to fly to London this time, so he had to fly there early on a regular flight, also if he loses this fight I just might make him get a job at Wal Mart or something, he got to pay me back for all that money he spent on hookers in Rio some how ;)

OK guys let me preface my preview with this, my city is having a bad thunderstorm tonight so I might lose power at any minute so I'm going to post each fight as I finish it starting with the main event. I hope I can get to all these fights but it might not be doable. If so I apologise to any fighter I miss.

"The Unstoppable" Mr Invincible vs Raider Vancan

In our main event of the evening we have a clash between two fighters who are WPL mainstays racking up “of the night” honors almost as fast as their wins. With 8 bonuses between them we are sure to have an absolutely spectacular bout here tonight. Mr Invincible is the WPL’s local knockout artist having just one fight leaving the first round. His last fight against ground specialist Percival Pellinore was a brutal display of Mr Invincible’s top class hands and solid takedown defense. But with about 15 seconds left in the fight Pellinore’s takedowns finally got the better of him and the iron chinned Pellinore rocked the never before in danger Invincible. One wonders if given more time Pellinore could have finished him. The man he faces here tonight is in the exact same vein as Pellinore a world class wrestler and purple belt; former heavyweight champ Raider Vancan has TKOed most of his opponents with evil ground and pound. He is coming off a quick first round finish of pure striker Thiago Belfort. But Vancan was KOed by heavyweight champ Roberto Gomez Bollanos in the fight before which raises questions about Vancan’s chin. This is going to be very telling of the future of the heavyweight division. Does Invincible have the ground game to hold his own in a fight on the floor? Does Vancan have the chin to hang with the best strikers in the org? One way to find out.

Prediction: Invincible by KO

Franklin "Dice" Schroeder vs Damien ONeill

This fight is going absolutely nowhere near the mat as these two men are renowned strikers with similar capabilities. Franklin Schroder has never had a fight leave the first round, hell he’s never even had a fight leave the second minute. He is coming off a dominating KO victory over Muay Thai striker Big Fatso in just under 2 minutes but he better hope that his seemingly bottomless well of KO power is just that because Damien ONiell is a former FF League champion with a solid technical boxing game which he used to lethal effect against Vitor Mahaglaes TKOing the overmatched Jiu-Jitsu fighter landing a lights-out straight left just before the second minute of the fight. But ONeill was knocked cold by Mr Invincible before that so perhaps he doesn’t have the chin he needs against top strikers with KO power. But unfortunately that is exactly what he faces here tonight.

Prediction: Franklin Schroder by KO

"The Red Viper" Oberyn Martell vs Diego "The Axe Murderer " Minotauro

Oberyn Martell is a solid boxer with a blue belt who is coming off 2 straight KO’s of Conan Hatari with beautiful counter shots that shut off his brain. He is going to look to keep his 7 fight win streak alive here tonight but he might be too much for him. Diego Minotauro is coming off a slick triangle choke victory over vaunted striker Josip Peric. He has world class wrestling and a purple belt, something the up and coming Martell can’t match, He’s also every bit the striker Martell is but that isn’t where he does his best work. Expect Minotauro to drag this to the ground and look for a quick tap here tonight.

Prediction: Minotauro by submission

Nathan "Knuckles" Silver

Hey there furface. I apologize for the lack of responses. After losing a fight against that Reaper i took a good hard look at myself in the mirror. I gave Witcher so much crap about being a fat F**K that i only realized i hated myself. Hence i have started hitting the treadmill to get myself into shape.

As for your offer to have a tuneup fight, i'll gladly step in if you are keen.

Remember though, i have nothing to lose (except for that pot belly i seem to have gotten from too much beer).

If i win then i will buy a jug of beer to share.

Nice to see somebody has the balls to show up for a fight.

Well sir I gladly accept your offer but you still have a lot to lose, brain cells, use of your arms for a bit or some mobility in your legs.

And as you so eloquently put it in the bellator smack thread "there is always time for beer"

But since you are so worried about getting fat if you win I'll get you a bottle of the finest Russian vodka.

It may help you in your effort to lose weight. :sick01:

Again I would like to apologise for the preview last night, a tree got stuck by lightning and fell on the power lines we only just got it back this afternoon.
