ITFL 2 - Week 6/1

part 1...

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1361817591itfl2.png

Cornel Develutian (4-4) vs. Salvatore Lucania (3-2)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1b19.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/23/23w15.jpg

Kicking off the first event we have Cornel Develutian fighting for Team Reaper with a tournament record of 2-3. Develutian takes on Fighters First Nutrients' Salvatore Lucania who has a record of 1-2.

Round 1 and both fighters trade blows but seem to be having a hard time connecting. We start to see a more accurate approach from the fighters as the round draws on. Lucania takes the fight into the clinch and receives a knee to the head leaving him with a cut! There's a little more action in the clinch from both fighters before Develutian gets the orders from his corner to break the clinch. Back at striking distance and Lucania looks to be getting the better of the stand up. Lucania is connecting well...and Develutian is rocked! Lucania gives him no chance to recover as he delivers a left hook that puts Develutian out cold!

Lucania def. Develutian via 1st round KO (punch).

Sherif Fathy (7-6) vs. Jared Wild (7-4)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/15/15b12.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/5/5w12.jpg

Sherif Fathy is next in the cage fighting for Team Hells Balls Nutrition with a not too great tournament record of 1-4. Jared Wild is his opponent fighting for Team BHP and has a tournament record of 2-3.

Round 1 and Fathy is in trouble from the start as he is sent crashing to the mat from a big right from Wild. Wild stays standing as a cut Fathy gets back to his feet where we see the fight taken into the clinch by Wild. Both fighters land a few shots in the clinch before we're back at striking distance. Wild is getting the better of the stand up here and is connecting well before moving back into the clinch. With little action in the clinch Wild's corner gets him to break the clinch and bam...Wild connects with a big head kick sending Fathy to the ground! Back on his feet and Fathy is really struggling. Wild softens up Fathy some more before countering with an upper cut sending Fathy back to the ground! Fathy knows the drill and gets back to his feet but he's rocked and has a serious cut - what a warrior! Wild goes in for the kill landing strike after strike and that's it - Fathy is done for and he's down!

Wild def. Fathy via 1st round KO (punches).

Magnetic Symphony (1-6) vs. Maubee Away (12-6)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/9/9w9.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/10/10b14.jpg

Magnetic Symphony is not having the best experience so far in the tournament having a record of all losses. Fighting for Team Steel Penn he is going against Maubee Away. Away is fighting for Heisenberg Fight Team and has a tournament record of 3 wins and 2 losses.

Round 1 gets underway and we see Away make several failed takedown attempts. Symphony is more than happy to keep the fight standing but Away seems really determined to take the fight to the ground. Symphony is landing well with his shots and soon into the round lands an overhand right that rocks Away! Away is all over the place and is making a mess of his takedown attempts...Symphony is taking his time but he delivers!! A massive head kick and Away is out cold!

Symphony def. Away via KO (head kick).

Luke Doomsday (8-6) vs. Lance Kilkenny (6-2)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/15/15b12.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40w1.jpg

Luke Doomsday and Lance Kilkenny take to the cage next. Doomsday is fighting for Team Hells Balls Nutrition and is currently having a bit of a bad run. A promising start to the event with 3 straight wins he is now coming off of 2 losses giving him a record of 3-2. Kilkenny, fighting for Team BHP, is currently 3-2 as well but his run couldn't be any different from a rocky start to him settling down in the last 3 fights with a 3 wins streak.

Round 1 and the fighters are trading blows with Kilkenny taking the fight into the clinch early on. Kilkenny is trying to land shots in the clinch with some success but Doomsday looks like he wants to get out of there but Kilkenny is keeping him in the clinch. Kilkenny is dominating the fight in the clinch being the more aggressive fighter. If it wasn't for Doomsday's ability to avoid a lot of the strikes he'd be in even bigger trouble than he is now. There's a brief exchange of at striking distance towards the end of the round but the fight is taken back into the clinch with very little time to make anything of it.

Round 2 and Kilkenny knows where his strengths are for this fight as he wastes very little time before he takes the fight into the clinch. Again, Kilkenny is in charge in the clinch but Doomsday is putting up some great defending. Doomsday is blocking many of the strikes as he works to get out of the clinch. Doomsday tries for a takedown but eventually breaks the clinch to return to striking distance. Kilkenny is getting the better of the stand up here but both fighters are exhausted!

We're into round 3 and back into the clinch! Kilkenny dominating again but Doomsday manages to get the fight back to striking distance soon enough. Instantly we see that Doomsday has stepped up the action as he takes a more aggressive approach. Kilkenny is still getting the better of the stand up though and soon takes the fight back into the clinch. Doomsday's leg seems to be suffering from the kicks that have been landing for Kilkenny but at the moment he is more concerned with getting out of the clinch. As the round comes to a close we see the fight back at striking distance.

Kilkenny def. Doomsday via decision (unanimous).

ITFL 2 - Week 6/1

part 2...

El Pintos (3-4) vs. Vitali Kersikov (6-4)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/33/33w5.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/3/3w1.jpg

El Pintos is currently 3-2 and is fighting in the cage for Team Syndicate Nutrition. His opponent is Vitali Kersikov. Fighting for Team Kaiser, Kersikov comes to this fight with a tournament record of 3-2 with a 3 fight wins streak that he's looking to extend.

The 1st round and there's an exchange of strikes from the beginning with Kersikov asserting himself early. Kersikov darting in and out connecting well and we soon see Pintos pick up a cut. Kersikov is really dominating the round throwing attack after attack - Pintos looks like a little lost lamb! Kersikov is a far more active fighter, at a guess I would say that he's delivering 3-5 times more shots that Pintos.

Round 2 and Pintos ends up with his ass in the ground but he shoots back up. This is followed by some strikes and Pintos is on the floor again! This time Kersikov wastes no time and follows him unloading some more strikes and the fight is stopped by the referee!

Kersikov def. Pintos via 2nd round TKO (strikes).

Julian Knight (6-4) vs. Castiel Angel (13-4)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/11/11w5.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13818093877643.jpg

Both fighters are coming to the fight with a record of 3-2. Julian Knight is fighting for Team Reaper with Angel fighting for Team Fighters First Nutrition.

Round 1 and Angel is straight in there with a high kick giving Knight a nasty looking cut. We are seeing a lot of missed strikes here and there with Angel trying to take the fight to the ground. There's more stand up action until Angel gets that takedown he's been looking for. On the ground a big elbow lands for Angel and Knight is rocked...he could be in danger! A few more shots from Angel sees the referee step in.

Angel def. Knight via 1st round TKO (strikes).

Vaimaa Fatu (8-6) vs. Dragon Warfist (9-5-1)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13770309319008.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/2/2w3.jpg

Stepping into the cage next, with a tournament record of 2-3 and fighting for Team Hells Balls we have Vaimaa Fatu. He takes on Dragon Warfist, fighting for Team BHP who has a tournament record of 2-3 as well but will be looking to break the 3 loss streak that has come about in his last 3 appearances. Can he turn it around for himself and his team?

Round 1 and we're straight on the ground via a takedown by Fatu. Warfist is defending well against the GnP and the fight is soon stood back up by the referee. Fatu is the most active back on the feet but is struggling to land anything which allows Warfist to counter giving Fatu a cut to deal with. With Warfist getting the better of the fight standing we see another takedown by Fatu but with neither fighter doing much it is back to standing as the round comes to an end.

Round 2 and we see a brief period of the fight on the ground before the referee gets the fight back to the feet. Back standing the 2 fighters are looking evenly matched but we Fatu take the fight to the ground. Let's hope that Fatu has a plan because the action on the ground is not that great so far! There's a bit more aggression from Fatu this time round but Warfist is doing well defending against the GnP. As the action on the ground slows we see the referee get the fighters back to their feet. A failed takedown attempt from Fatu and the fight is taken into the clinch by Warfist but he needs to work quick if he has a game plan but is too late as Fatu breaks away from the clinch, returning the fighters back to striking distance.

Round 3 and the final round of the fight - let's see if either fighter can pull something out of the bag. As the fighters trade blows it is Warfist that is showing the better stand up here. Connecting well we see Fatu's cut is opening up some more. Warfist takes the fight into the clinch and is successfully connecting with his shots causing a whole heap of trouble for Fatu. We're back at striking distance and we can see that Fatu is more comfortable as he is connecting with some decent shots. He's still taking some hits though and that cut doesn't look like it's doing him any favours...

Warfist def. Fatu via decision (unanimous).

Dmitry Borschev (10-3) vs. Diego Kramer (6-6)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/19/19w14.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1w20.jpg

Dmitry Borschev is next up, fighting for Team Steel Penn. Making only his 3rd appearance he is 1-1 in the tournament. His opponent is Diego Kramer fighting for Heisenberg Fight Team. A regular fighter having fought from day one of the tourney he might be wondering why he's bothering to turn up to this round carrying a tournament record of all losses! Let's see if he can turn this around - good luck to both fighters.

Round 1 gets underway and as the 2 fighters trade shots we see Kramer try to take the fight into the clinch. Eventually he is successful and we see a great deal of action here! Both fighters are landing shots in the clinch with Kramer trying to mix it up a little with some knees thrown in. Borschev forces the fight back to striking distance where the fighters trade blows once again. Borschev looks to be struggling to connect with any decent shots with Kramer looking to take the fight back into the clinch and is eventually successful. We see some great action from the fighters in the clinch as the round comes to an end.

The second round is on and we're back in the clinch again. Both fighters are keeping the action going in the clinch and Borschev connects with a dangerous looking uppercut and Kramer is down...he is in trouble. Kramer is rocked and slows down the action. Borschev is unable to take advantage of the situation and Kramer soon gets his bearings. There's a battle going on in the clinch and the crowd is loving it!! Another uppercut lands for Borschev that drops Kramer to one knee...not looking good! He manages to get to his feet but not for long as Borschev unloads another uppercut and Kramer is down!! Borschev follows with some strikes but is stopped by the referee and it's over!

Borschev def. Kramer via 2nd round TKO (strikes).

ITFL 2 - Week 6/1

part 3...

Hamad Al Zahran (10-6) vs. Conan Drogo (12-5)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40b20.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42a2.jpg

It's time for the Hamad Al Zahran takes on Conan Drogo. Al Zahran is here looking for a win for Team Syndicate Nutrition and has a tournament record of 2-3. Drogo is fighting for Team Kaiser and has a better looking record so far going 4-1.

Round 1 and Drogo is looking to clinch. Zahran manages to keep him at bay but only for a while before we end up in the clinch. Nothing comes from the clinch and the 2 fighters end up back at striking distance where we witness some good stand up from both fighters. A 3 punch combination from Drogo and Zahran picks up a cut - this is a close round so hopefully that'll not slow him down. We've been seeing a lot of kicks from Zahran and no doubt Drogo's been feeling them! Drogo has the fight back in the clinch and both fighters manage a few shots but Zahran is having none of it and breaks the clinch. Drogo gets a takedown but with no time on the clock for this round there's little to make of it.

Round 2 and Drogo comes out swinging - but not hitting! Both fighters look to be keeping the fight on the feet with Zahran getting the better here. Drogo is starting to connect better with those shots and is using his slight reach advantage to good effect now. This will be a close round. The fighters continue to keep the fight on the feet for the rest of the fight.

Round 3 is here and we seem no closer to an early finish for either fighter - they have less than 5 minutes to prove me wrong! We start the round with the fighters taking shots at one another before Drogo takes the fight into the clinch. The fighters exchange blows before Zahran manages to break the clinch. Back at striking Zahran lands a couple of shots before Drogo goes in for a takedown and gets it. There's not a lot happening on the ground so we see a referee stand up. Back standing and Zahran is getting the better of the stand until Drogo gets the fight back to the ground - let's hope we see some action this time around. Zahran really wants up and works on getting back to his feet as Drogo goes in for some GnP with no luck. There's not much time on the clock...and that's it..we're off to the judges.

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u625/darksoulmma/ITFL_FOTN_zpsb9b2f520.png

Zahran def. Drogo vis decision (majority).

Daniyel Nebi (9-2) vs. Robert Beckett (14-3)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1w16.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/41/41a1.jpg

Up next we have Team Hells Balls and their fighter Daniyel Nebi. Making his second appearance in the tournament he is 1-0. He goes up against Robert Beckett of Team BHP who is currently 3-2 in the tournament.

Round 1 and these 2 fighters are really going for it. There's a lot of shots but with that there's also a fair few misses. It's clear from early into the round that these 2 are going to keep it standing. We're seeing a close round here as both fighters are really entertaining the fans tonight. A miss by Nebi allows Beckett to counter and take the fight into the clinch. Both fighters get a few shots in but we soon see them returning to striking distance as the round comes to an end.

Round 2 and Nebi looks likes he's in trouble early into the round as a shot lands for Beckett clearly rocking him! Beckett doesn't take advantage of the situation and Nebi still has enough in him to fight back! Beckett is getting the better of the stand up this round. Beckett has been chopping at Nebi's legs and we see that they're starting to show on Nebi. Beckett continues to dominate the round.

Round 3 and Beckett soon takes the fight into the clinch. In the clinch Beckett is trying to destroy Nebi throwing a shit load of knees but Nebi is defending well but most likely would rather not be there in the first place! Nebi is trying to break the clinch but is having trouble. We're spending a lot of time in the clinch and Beckett is clearly making the most of it. With less than a minute left in the round Nebi gets the fight back to striking distance and starts to step up his game but it is far too late in the round for any of that!

Beckett def. Nebi via decision (unanimous).

ITFL 2 - Week 6/2

part 1...

Bawit Daba (6-2-1) vs. Joseph Shoznes (3-4)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42b27.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40w14.jpg

It's fight time for Team Syndicate Nutrition and Team Kaiser now as Bawit Daba, currently 2-2-1 in the tournament, takes to the cage for Team Syndicate Nutrition. Joseph Shoznes is currently 2-3 and is here fighting for Team Kaiser.

Round 1 and both fighters trade blows from the start. Daba is using his height to give him an advantage and is scoring well against Shoznes. The fight is taken into the clinch by Shoznes but Daba is keen to take the fight back to striking distance and soon gets his way. Daba continues to dominate the action on the feet and looks to be taking this round.

Round 2 and the fight is taken into the clinch early in the round by Shoznes. There's some great action in the clinch as both fighters land strikes, with Shoznes connecting with a nasty looking knee. Daba takes the fight out of the clinch and back to striking range. Daba is getting the better of the stand up connecting well as Shoznes has less luck landing. Simply getting in range is all that is needed. Shoznes takes the fight back into the clinch where he stands a better chance. Daba is not too keen on staying in the clinch and is looking to get back to striking distance. Both fighters are connecting well in the clinch until Daba breaks free.

Round 3 and the 2 fighters seem a little more even on their feet as the they trade shots. As we've had 2 rounds of stand up I have no doubt that's where we're staying. Shoznes takes the fight into the clinch managing to connect with a couple of shots before Daba breaks free. Back at striking distance it is clear that Shoznes knows he needs to step things up. Shoznes is making some good strikes and this round will be close.

Daba def. Shoznes via decision (unanimous).

Kirk Lazarus (7-3) vs Steve Menzies (1-6)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/1349628629KirkLazarus.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/7/7w12.jpg

Next up we have a fight between Team Steel Penns' Kirk Lazarus and Steve Menzies who is fighting for Heisenberg Fight Team. Lazarus is enjoying a fantastic run in the tournament losing only his debut appearance out of 5 fights. Menzies on the other hand could not be any more different. He is yet to win a fight standing at 5 losses in 5 appearances.

Round 1 and the fighters stand and bang with Lazarus trying to take the fight into the clinch. Menzies is trying to prolong the inevitable but the fight is eventually in the clinch. Both fighters are struggling to land shots in the clinch but out of the 2 Lazarus is getting the better. Lazarus is really trying to get those knees in and successfully lands a handful causing a cut to Menzies

Round 2 and Lazarus is really trying to punish Menzies with a whole bunch of leg kicks. He softens him up some more before taking the fight into the clinch. There are more knees thrown in the clinch by Lazarus - some that hit home, some that don't. Menzies cut is getting no better from the onslaught of knees. The fighters look tired and Menzies is desperate not to spend much more time in the clinch and finally breaks free. Lazarus unloads some more kicks before taking the fight into the clinch but there's no much time left on the clock.

We're into the final round and we see Lazarus dominating again with those kicks. The fight is soon taken into the clinch for the first time this round and both fighters are breathing heavily. Lazarus is once again delivering knees but Menzies seems to have stepped things up a bit - hopefully it's not a case of too little too late. A knee from Lazarus drops Menzies...he gets back to his feet but is clearly rocked!! Lazarus is wearing down Menzies with body shots but a defiant Menzies fights back but Lazarus counters with a big left!! Menzies tries to get out of the danger zone but Lazarus is throwing shot after shot at him..he is in trouble. The referee steps in to stop the fight!

Lazarus def. Menzies via 3rd round TKO (strikes).

Aloysius Martin Thesz (9-3) vs. John Lineker

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13830178273557.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/20/20w23.jpg

Aloysius Martin Thesz, with a face only a mother could love, takes to the cage next, fighting for Team Steel Penn. He has a record of 2 losses and 2 wins and comes to the fight tonight looking to make it 3 wins in a row. Standing in his way is John Lineker who is fighting for Heisenberg Fight Team. Lineker has had one crappy run so far winning only one fight out of 5 appearances.

Round 1 and Thesz is desperate to take the fight to the ground but is held off by some good defending by Lineker. Eventually he gets the fight to the ground but there is very little action for the refs liking and he stands the 2 fighters up. Back standing and Thesz is the more aggressive here and it's not long before he takes the fight back to the ground. On the ground and Thesz is trying to get to a more dominant position but Lineker shows some good skills and ends up on top as we see the round end.

Round 2 and apart from a very uneventful second or so on the ground it looks like we're going to see an all standing show for this round. Thesz is scoring and making the most of his reach advantage but is looking for a takedown. Lineker is staying standing though! As the round progresses we see the fighters trying to connect but the accuracy doesn't seem to be there with many of the shots missing their target.

Round 3 and Thesz tries to take the fight to the ground from the start. Some defending from Lineker keeps the fight standing and there's some good kicks coming from him. Thesz again uses his height advantage to throw shots from outside of Linekers range. Thesz eventually gets the fight to the ground but is unable to make anything of it as Lineker controls well. The fight is stood up and back standing there is little left to the round for either fighter to take any real advantage.

Thesz def. Lineker via decision (unanimous).

Zell Griever (10-5) vs. Lance Templeton (6-2)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/41/41b16.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1w2.jpg

Team Syndicate Nutrition fighter, Zell Griever, is next up in the cage and has a record of 2-3. His opponent is Lance Templeton who is fighting for Team Kaiser and comes to the fight with a record of 3-1.

Round 1 and Templeton comes out all aggressive connecting well. A big kick from Griever soon puts Templeton in trouble as he is knocked to the ground by a head kick. There's an opportunity for a finish here but Griever waves him to his feet. A rocked Templeton tries for a takedown but Griever is not interested in taking the fight to the ground and defends well. Templeton is throwing and connecting with a lot of leg kicks which Griever will be feeling!

Round 2 and both fighters are not looking too good as the pace of the action takes its toll. Templeton continues to get the better of the action and soon gets the fight to the ground. He is looking to try his luck with a submission and attempts a kimura but it is well defended. Templeton isn't leaving it at that though and goes for another 3 attempts but is stopped by Griever.

Round 3 and the fighters seem to be having difficulty connecting with their shots, maybe a mixture of exhaustion and good footwork - however, when they do land we see some quality stand up. Griever is looking a lot better this round and no doubt has decided to step things up. Templeton is still scoring with a mix of body and leg kicks. The fighters continue to trade blows with Templeton getting the better of the dtand up despite Grievers attempt to turn things around.

Templeton def. Griever via decision (unanimous).

ITFL 2 - Week 6/2

part 2...

Evgeniy Malkin (10-4) vs. Kisuke Urahara (6-6-2)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/16/16w26.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/24/24w24.jpg

Steel Penn and Heisenberg meet next as Evgeniy Malkin takes on Kisuke Urahara. Malkin is fighting for Team Steel Penn and is currently 3-2. Urahara, fighting for Heisenberg Fight Team, has only one win on his tournament record with the rest being a draw and 3 losses.

Round 1 gets underway and we see a little stand up action before Malkin takes the fight to the ground and works straight away looking for a submission. He is wanting to end this quickly and add to the 3 subs he already has on his record. Urahara works free and is soon looking for a sub of his own...can he turn this around? Nothing comes of it and Malkin is at it again and goes for a sub! The fighters are fighting for control at the moment and it is Malkin who makes the next move as he goes for another sub attempt. It looks as though it is another miss as Urahara is escaping...actually no! The kimura is on tight and Urahara has to tap!!

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u625/darksoulmma/ITFL_SOTN_zps2e871eaa.png

Malkin def.Urahara via 1st round submission (kimura).

Tim Smith (7-3) vs. Luis Garavito (11-4)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42w11.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/27/27w12.jpg

Team Reaper are up next with Tim Smith taking on Luis Garavito, fighting for Team Fighters First. Smith is currently 3-2 with Garavito going 2-3 so far.

Round 1 and Garavito takes the fight to the ground soon into the round. Garavito tries to soften up Smith with a bit of GnP as Smith works hard to control the situation. Smith wants to get to his feet but Garavito tries for a submission but there's no finish here. The fighters are stood up and the fight then goes into the clinch by Smith but Garavito breaks free. Smith is desperate to get the chance to dominate the clinch and tries again but Garavito breaks free again before anything can be made of it. Back at striking distance and the fighters are trading blows.

Round 2 and Garavito tries to take the fight to the ground but it is defended well by Smith. The fighters trade blows with Smith making the most of his reach advantage. A nice combo delivered half way through the round by Smith gives Garavito a cut. Both fighters are starting to look tired. Smith still doing well with the number of shots on target but Garavito needs to tighten things up a bit.

Round 3 and we're straight into the clinch as Smith rushes Garavito. Garavito seems to have gone mental and is trying to break the clinch furiously. Smith struggles to land shots landing only a few before the clinch is broken by Garavito. We're back at striking distance and the fighters look fucked as they breath heavily. There's some good shots from both fighters as the round gets some momentum. Smith connects with a punch straight through Garavito's guard. Then there's a right hook and a left hook...and Garavito is on the ground! More strikes from Smith and the referee is stopping the fight!

Smith def. Garavito via 3rd round TKO (punches).

Peter Taphorn (9-4) vs. Vinnie Vincent (10-5)

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u625/darksoulmma/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsb72a087f.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/19/19w17.jpg

Team Reaper and Team Fighters First are up again as Peter Taphorn takes on Vinnie Vincent. Taphorn has a record of 4-1 with Vincent going 4-1 also with one win coming via N/C.

Round 1 gets underway and the fighters stay standing for a while. Trading blows, Taphorn tries to take the fight into the clinch a few times but he is held off by Vincent. Vincent has other ideas and takes the fight to the ground and with both fighters having submissions on their records this could go either way. Vincent tries for a submission but Taphorn fights it off...then we see another attempt by Vincent but again we see no finish. Another submission but this time it's Taphorn...no luck but he's persistent and goes for another attempt. No luck this time...so why not have another go? And he does! Vincent tries to get a few shots through as Taphorn defends well. As Taphorn tries for a few more submissions while all Vincent can do is try to control with the odd GnP attempt.

Round 2 and Vincent is straight in and gets a takedown but it's not long before Taphorn is in with the sub attempts. Vincent is easily defending them and breaking up the submission action with some GnP. Taphorn makes it 9 attempts in total, getting nowhere with them.

Round 3 and the fighters stay standing for a while - not by choice on Vincent's side as he tries several times to take the fight to the ground but is stopped by Taphorn. As the fighters stand and bang we see Vincent getting the better of the stand up. As the final round passes the half way mark Vincent gets the takedown he wanted. Taphorn is controlling as Vincent lands with some GnP as Taphorn goes for a sub attempt...and then...nope, there's not another attempt by Taphorn! Vincent tries his luck with a submission just after looking for a Kimura but it is defended against.

Vincent def. Taphorn via decision (unanimous).

Silent Bob (8-7) vs. Kenta Kobashi (12-1)

Silent Bob and Kenta Kobashi take to the cage next for their teams, Team Syndicate Nutrition and Team Kaiser. Bob made his first appearance in week 3 and since has not been doing too great with a record of 1-2. Kobashi on the other hand has had a near faultless start with only 1 loss leaving him 4 wins.

Round 1 and Silent is trying to thet the fight into the clinch but Kobashi is wanting to keep the fight at striking distance. Kobashi is landing a lot of shots as a result of Silent putting all his efforts into getting the clinch. Bob finally gets the clinch but it is Kobashi that is getting the better of the clinch. Kobashi is trying to get free of the clinch and eventually pushes off and is back at striking distance where he dominates the stand up connecting well.

Round 2 and it is Kobashi who gets the fight into the clinch this round. He is doing well scoring with his shots against Silent who has been trying to get the fight to the ground. There's shot after shot landing for Kobashi and Silent really needs something in order to turn the fight around. Most of the round is fought in the clinch with the odd return to striking distance where Kobashi manages to continue to get the better of the exchanges.

Round 3 and we see Silent trying to get the fight into the clinch at the expense of letting Kobashi pick and choose his shots. Despite his determination, Kobashi is in no mood to clinch just yet and keeps the fight out of the clinch. Silent is getting tired and eventually the fight is in the clinch - taken there by Kobashi. Kobashi is dominating the stand up here and decides to take the fight in and out of the clinch over the next few minutes doing well at both ranges. Silent is stepping up the action now as he knows he needs something to turn this around. Kobashi tries to break the clinch but Silent stops him from doing so. A few shots later and Bob is rocked...he's in a dangerous place at the minute and this could well be over. There's more shots from Kobashi but Silent is not going out that way! The fight continues in and out of the clinch as the round comes to an end and Bob hangs in there!

Kobashi def. Bob via decision (unanimous).

ITFL 2 - Week 6/2

part 3...

Colin Croft (8-0) vs. James Burke (6-1)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/22/22b14.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/23/23w21.jpg

We have 2 fighters come to the cage next who have a perfect record so far in the tournament. Colin Croft is fighting for Team Reaper with James Burke stepping into the cage for Team Fighters First. Both fighters are at 5-0 so who is walking away with the win?

Round 1 and Croft scoring with the first shots giving Burke an early cut. Croft then takes the fight into the clinch but Burke really has no interest in being in the clinch and tries to break free. Still in the clinch and both fighters are connecting well but Burke still doesn't want to be there and eventually breaks out of the clinch. Burke gets the fight to the ground via a takedown and tries with some GnP with no luck as Croft defends. We're back standing as the referee isn't happy with the action on the ground and Burke takes a big hit from Croft.

Round 2 starts off with the fighters entertaining the crowd with some stand up action. Burke counters a kick from Croft to take the fight to the ground but Croft works his way up the cage to get the fight back standing and within seconds has the fight in the clinch - I'm not an easy person to impress but there as been some quality action going on here. In the clinch the fighters are active with Croft getting the better of the fight.

Round 3 and Burke gets the fight to the ground and is trying to pull of a submission - things could go wrong here for Croft! Luckily for Croft all he has to contend with is a loose arm triangle and has no problems avoiding a sub. Croft is trying to get back up but Burke is keeping him there. Croft manages to take Burke's back which I'm sure wasn't part of Burke's plan. It's looking a bit like a rodeo show as Burke tries to buck Croft off of his back. A referee stand up puts the fighters back on their feet and the fighters are exchanging some good shots as Burke has stepped thing up. We're looking at a close round here!

Croft def. Burke via decision (unanimous).

Tigran Badoyan (10-1) vs. Ugor Makinwa (13-2)

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u625/darksoulmma/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsbd1d7b25.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42b27.jpg

Ladies and Gentleman, it is time for the main event of Week 6. To show everyone how it is done with style we have Tigran Badoyan fighting for Team Hells Balls and he is facing Ugor Makinwa of Team BHP. Badoyan has had a great run in the tournament and is yet to lose a fight going 5-0. His opponent, Makinwa also has a clean record - but only having made one appearance so far that's not that impressive. Sure, he has a 7 win streak...but that's not in the International Team Fighting League. And that's where it matters. What would be impressive is if he gets the win. Shall we see how the fight went...?

Round 1 and this looks like a good one as both fighters go for it from the start. Badoyan is getting the better of the fight so far but things can change. Badoyan is connecting with most of his shots and Makinwa knows this as he picks up a cut from a shot from Badoyan. The 2 fighters continue to trade blows with signs from Makinwa that he is starting to struggle. Badoyan using his reach advantage to connect with a big right hand that puts Makinwa on his ass! Badoyan is keeping it standing so Makinwa gets to his feet - a little wobbly there Makinwa? A low kick from Badoyan is followed by a head kick and Makinwa is back on the canvas...and this time Badoyan is all over him! And the ref steps in to save Makinwa - it's over!

Badoyan def. Makinwa via TKO (strikes).

ITFL 2 - Week 7/1

part 1...

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1361817591itfl2.png

Kisuke Urahara (7-6-2) vs. Sherif Fathy (7-7)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/24/24w24.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/15/15b12.jpg

We go into the first fight as Urahara takes on Fathy. Neither fighter is doing well this tournament with Kisuke Urahara, fighting for Heisenberg Fight Team, going 1-4-1. Sherif Fathy is fighting for Team Hells Balls Nutrition and is having even less luck with a record of only 1 win, which was way back in week 1, with 5 losses following.

Round 1 and the fighters start off the round trading blows resulting in a cut for Fathy. As the fighters continue to keep the fight standing Urahara is connecting well with a good number of his shots. Urahara takes the fight into the clinch but there's not much to report as the fight soon returns to striking distance. Urahara is really dominating the round with Fathy being on the back foot and not really causing Urahara any trouble. It's no surprise then as Urahara connects with a hook to the side of Fathy's head and he is rocked!! A few missed shots followed by a head kick and Fathy is down. Fathy is back on his feet and Urahara takes the fight into the clinch but has to work quick before the round is over.

Round 2 gets started and Urahara is once again dominating the fight - landing with great accuracy. The fight is in the clinch and with a few shots landing for Urahara he takes the fight to the ground. Urahara goes for a sub attempt and Fathy has no problem defending. Urahara is determined and is looking to get a triangle and another 3 are stopped by Fathy. He's working for another submission and this one starts to look promising! Fathy is not doing much here to defend and he could be in trouble...and has a triangle on tight. Fathy is too late and he is tapping!!

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u625/darksoulmma/ITFL_SOTN_zps2e871eaa.png

Urahara def. Fathy via 2nd round submission (triangle choke).

John Lineker (8-8) vs. Vaimaa Fatu (9-6)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/20/20w23.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13770309319008.jpg

We see fighters from Heisenberg Fight Team and Team Hells Balls Nutrition take to the cage again for the second fight of the evening. Fighting for Heisenberg Fight Team is John Lineker. A highly trained Muay Thai fighter, Lineker has only one win in the tournament and that's from week 1 with the rest of his 5 fights going down to losses. Vaimaa Fatu is the guy fighting for Team Hells Balls Nutrition and has a record for the tournament of 2-4.

Round 1 and the fighters are not connecting well at all - Fatu is either not using his reach advantage well or Lineker is doing well avoiding those shots. A bit of both I think. Fatu goes for a head kick and Lineker had no chance avoiding it and he is on the floor! Fatu wants the fight back on the feet and Lineker gets back up. He's rocked and I'm not surprised, a head kick like that, what did I expect? Fatu tests the situation with a couple of shots and wham! There goes another head kick and it connects!! Lineker is out cold but still stood - tiiiiimber, he's down and out!

Fatu def. Lineker via 1st round KO (head kick).

Maubee Roots (13-6) vs. Luke Doomsday (8-7)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/10/10b14.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/15/15b12.jpg

Well, it's three in a row for Heisenberg Fight Team and Team Hells Balls Nutrition as we see Maubee Roots, fighting for Heisenberg Fight Team, take on Luke Doomsday of Team Hells Balls Nutrition. Roots has a record of 3 wins and 3 losses with Doomsday going the same, 3-3. The teams have 1 win each in this weeks event so who will take the lead?

Round 1 and Away is trying for a takedown and he gets it seconds into the round. Landing a few shots and Away goes for a submission but Doomsday effortlessly puts an end to Away's plans. Away goes for some more GnP and then tries for another sub and then another, the attempts only broken with a little GnP. Doomsday defends them all and it's back to the drawing board for Away. Away going for some more GnP but is missing more than hitting at the moment but soon tidies up his attempts and puts some real pressure in Doomsday who is busy working from the bottom. A change of position and back again sees Away really landing with that GnP and Doomsday could be in trouble - but the end of the round saves any more punishment.

Round 2 and after dominating Doomsday on the ground in round 1, he knows where he wants this fight to go...to the ground and Away has his way early into the round. On the ground and both fighters are really going for it. Away is landing with some GnP while Doomsday is desperate to get the fight back to his feet and is trying his best to control the situation. Away is looking for a RNC as Doomsday gives away his back trying to get out trouble. And now we see Doomsday on top! He's seeing how Away likes a bit of GnP! It's all going on here on the ground and Away soon tries for a submission but Doomsday is on it and defends against the attempt. Away is back on top and we're into the last minute of the 2nd round - can either fighter pull of a win before the end? Nope - the best attempt we see before the end of the round is another submission attempt by Away but Doomsday is having none of it!!

Last round here ladies and gentlemen and Doomsday tries to keep the fight standing, scoring well with some stand up. Not long though before Away gets the fight to the ground through countering a shot from Doomsday. There's a little bit of a struggle from the fighters before Away tries for a submission - but it is another attempt defended well by Doomsday. Away manages to get a few shots through and Doomsday looks to be stepping things up a little. To be honest he's probably a little pissed with all the time spent on the ground. Away goes for another sub attempt but Doomsday's level of defence is too good and it's another failed attempt - in fact he throws in another for good measure but that is also seen off by Doomsday. We enter the final minute with a referee stand up but neither fighter takes the lead here and we see the fight go to the judges.

Away def. Doomsday via decision (unanimous).

James Burke (6-2) vs. El Pintos (4-4)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/23/23w21.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/33/33w5.jpg

It's time for Team Fighters First Nutrition to take on Team Syndicate Nutrition now as James Burke of Fighters First takes on El Pintos, fighting for Team Syndicate. Burke comes to the fight with the better record currently going 5-1 with Pintos going 3-3.

Round 1 gets the go ahead and it is Pintos who is getting the better of the stand up scoring well and managing to avoid a lot of Burke's shots. Burke gets a cut early into the round - which doesn't stop him from dropping his hands giving Pintos a free shot! Burke takes the fight to the ground where he tries to put his black belt to some use and goes for a submission. And we're close to a finish here as he drops back looking for an ankle lock! And somehow Pintos has managed to get out of that one...but he's not leaving it there and goes for another submission...but it is defended again by Pintos. Pintos manages to get the fight back to the feet where he starts to connect well against Burke using his reach advantage well. It's not long before Burke gets the fight back on the ground but we're late into the round now and I don't see anything coming from it...but Burke disagrees and at least tries, going for a submission. But we're out of time for this round.

Round 2 and Pintos is making the most of the time on his feet and is connecting really well against Burke. Burke is looking for a takedown but Pintos is having none of it - he's in his eliment here firing shots at Burke outside of his range. Both fighters are tiring now and we see that a little in Pintos as he starts to get a little lazy with his shots. We see Pintos continue to make the best of his reach advantage with Burke trying occasionally to take the fight to the ground but Pintos goes nowhere!!

The 3rd round starts like the 2nd with Pintos getting the better of the stand up. We see Burke eventually get the fight to the ground but it is Pintos who goes for a submission! Burke made it look easy as he defends against the submission and tries to land some GnP. Pintos tries to get the fight back standing but Burke goes for a submission...he's got hold of Pintos' leg and we could see a last minute win here...and Pinto is not only out but is now on top!! Burke is looking for a submission from the bottom but we don't see anything else happening and the round comes to an end and it's off to the judges.

Pintos def. Burke via decision (unanimous).

ITFL 2 - Week 7/1

part 2...

Luis Garavito (11-5) vs. Bawit Daba (7-2-1)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/27/27w12.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42b27.jpg

We have Fighters First Nutrition up again with their fighter Luis Garavito. Garavito is coming to the cage tonight with a record of 2-4. If he loses tonight maybe he should consider a new nick name as 'The Beast' hardly describes someone on a 3 loss run. If you have any suggestions feel free to put them forward. He is fighting Team Syndicate Nutritions' Bawit Daba with a record of 3-2-1!

Round 1 gets going and a few missed shots by both fighters sees Daba take the fight into the clinch. The fighters try to land shots in the clinch but Garavito thinks he will do better on the ground and pulls guard. Garavito is stopped from moving to a better position as Daba controls and as a result of too little action on the ground the fighters are stood up by the referee. Back standing and Daba is getting the better of the fight and manages to connect with most of his shots. Garavito makes a few attempts at getting the fight back into the clinch but is unsuccessful but manages to suffer a cut in the stand up war. Daba has been using his reach advantage well and is managing to land a good number of his head shots and eventually connects with a nice right sending Garavito to the canvas!! Garavito bounces back up like he doesn't give a shit - but he is definitely rocked! I don't think his body has relayed that info to his head yet though! A kick from Daba and Garavito is looking bad. A hook from Daba is all it takes and Garavito is back on the ground but this time Daba follows and fires more strikes at Garavito and that...is...it..!

Daba def Garavito via 1st round TKO (strikes).

Steve Menzies (1-7) vs. Tigran Badoyan (11-1)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/7/7w12.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u625/darksoulmma/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsbd1d7b25.jpg

Up next we see Steve Menzies take to the cage for Heisenberg Fight Team. What can be said about Menzies...erm...well other than the fact that he is having a shocking time in the tournament not much? He is currently on 6 losses out of 6 events, all by some form of (T)KO. I don't know about you I would love to see this guy turn this fight in to some sort of underdog win miracle. However, he is up against Tigran Badoyan, fighting for Team Hells Balls Nutrition. Badoyan has not lost a single fight in the tournament yet with 6 wins with only one of those wins going to the judges.

Round 1 and things go bad for Menzies within seconds as he picks up a cut. Badoyan looks for a takedown but it's staying on the feet, for now at least. Ohh, and it's Badoyan's turn for a cut this time - I'm sure that gave Menzies some satisfaction!! The 2 fighters are really going at it but Badoyan is getting the better of the stand up, but despite this is looking to get the fight to the ground. Towards the end of the round Badoyan gets the takedown he's been trying for and Menzies is instantly trying to get back to his feet leaving Badoyan putting more into controlling the situation than being active.

Round 2 and the fight ends up on the ground within seconds as Badoyan scores a takedown. Badoyan is trying to land some strikes but is missing most of the time - a mix of shitty shots and good defending by Menzies. Menzies is busy working from the bottom and will take anything at the moment and it's not long before the referee steps in and the fighters are stood up. Back standing and Badoyan connects with a massive right hand sending Menzies on his ass - but he's back up and ready for more! A head kick attempt is blocked by Menzies but he can't block the incoming upper cut that connects...he's rocked! Menzies is rocked!! Menzies has no chance as Badoyan connects with a hook and he is out...out cold!

Badoyan def. Menzies via 2nd round KO (punch).

Castiel Angel (13-5) vs. Zell Griever (11-5)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13818093877643.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/41/41b16.jpg

Castiel Angel is up next fighting for Team Fighters First Nutrition and takes on Zell Griever, fighting for Team Syndicate Nutrition. Angel currently has a record of 4-2 with Griever's record being 2-4.

Round 1 and we're straight into the thick of things as Castiel takes a few shots too many. Castiel tries to get the fight to the ground but Griever sprawls and it's a big NO from him. Griever throws a right...then a left and it's all over!! Yes ladies and gentlemen we already have a winner!! Just over half a minute into the 1st round, Griever takes out Angel with a KO...

Griever def. Angel via 1st round KO (punches).

Lance Kilkenny (6-3) vs. Evgeniy Malkin (11-4)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40w1.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/16/16w26.jpg

Lance Kilkenny takes on Evgeniy Malkin in the next fight. Kilkenny is fighting for Team BHP and has managed a record of 4-2. Malkin is fighting under the Steel Penn banner and also has a record of 4-2. Let's see how the 2 fighters did.

Round 1 and Malkin takes the fight straight to the ground! And he wastes no time in trying for a submission - however, he is not as lucky with the submission as he was with the takedown. He is optimistic though and keeps at it with another 2 attempts in quick succession. Kilkenny is working from the bottom but Malkin is one step ahead of him. Malkin trying again for a submission but it is defended well as is the second attempt - and now it's the end of the round.

Round 2 and the fighters are spending a little more time on their feet as they trade shots. Malkin is getting the better of the stand up, connecting with many of his shots. The fight goes into the clinch and Malkin then takes the fight to the ground. Kilkenny tries with some GnP and is answered by a submission attempt by Malkin. More GnP from Kilkenny and Malkin tries for guillotine but doesn't manage to pull it off. Kilkenny manages to get back to his feet and the fighters are back standing. Malkin getting a few shots in and Kilkenny gets the fight into the clinch but we're too close to the end of the round.

The 3rd round is here and the fight seems to be staying on the feet - despite Malkin looking for a takdown. The fighters trade blows and both fighters are putting on a good show. Kilkenny is wanting to take the fight into the clinch and has definitely stepped up his game. Malkin eventually gets the takedown he's been looking for but time is ticking away. The fighters are struggling to control the action as the round comes to an end.

Malkin def. Kilkenny via decision (unanimous).

part 3...

Vinnie Vincent (10-6) vs. Silent Bob (9-7)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/19/19w17.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/39/39w16.jpg

It's time for Fighters First Nutrition and Syndicate Nutrition to send their fighters into the cage. Vinnie Vincent is fighting for Fighters First Nutrition and has a record of 5-1. The guy he's fighting, Silent Bob, is fighting for Syndicate Nutrition and has a record of 1-3 after making his debut in week 3.

The 1st round is on and Vincent is wanting the fight on the ground but Bob is keeping it standing at all costs. In the clinch and Bob is controlling the actions as Vincent tries to break free. An elbow from in the clinch from Bob gives Vincent a cut who then tries to take the fight to the ground but Bob gets the underhooks. Some bad looking knees are being delivered by Bob in the clinch. A big uppercut from Bob causes trouble for Vincent and he's rocked! Still on wobbly legs Vincent goes for a clinch and Bob lands knee that knocks Vincent out cold!!

Bob def. Vincent via 1st round KO (knee).

Kenta Kobashi (13-1) vs. Peter Taphorn (9-5)

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u625/darksoulmma/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps8d77db13.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u625/darksoulmma/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsb72a087f.jpg

We see Teams Kaiser and Reaper take to the cage for the the first time this week with Kobashi fighting for the Team Kaiser and Taphorn looking to do the business for Team Reaper. Kobashi's record for the tournament is 5-1 with Taphorn going 4-2 with his losses coming via his last 2 fights.

Round 1 and Taphorn goes for a clinch and is successful. Both fighters are really active in the clinch but are failing to land many of their shots. Kobashi manages to break free from the clinch where the fighters start to trade blows. Taphorn is trying to get the fight on the ground but Kobashi is more than happy to keep things standing. Taphorn takes the fight back into the clinch and has his head snapped back by a right hand from Kobashi, causing a nasty looking cut. Both fighters are landing shots in the clinch as Kobashi breaks and the fighters return to striking distance. As the final minute counts down Kobashi is working on slowing Taphorn down as he chps away at his legs.

Round 2 and Taphorn tries to take the fight into the clinch but Kobashi defends well. Taphorn gets the fight to the ground - he'll no doubt be looking to give Kobashi his first sub loss - we'll see. Kobashi manages to get Taphorn's back which could be trouble. Kobashi tries to land some shots from the back but Taphorn is controlling the action and the referee gets the fight back to the the feet. The fighters don't make much of this and Taphorn takes the fight back to the ground - maybe this time we'll see more ground game from him. Working for a submission Taphorn tries for a guillotine but is unsuccessful, then a triangle and then a Kimura! Kobashi defends well and we're left wondering if Taphorn picked up his bjj black belt from inside a box of cereal!

Round 3 now and Taphorn is soon looking for a takedown. Kobashi, with the better stand up at the moment, takes the fight into the clinch. The fighters are in and out of the clinch a couple of times but both fail to land many of their shots - in fact, either fighter is lucky to land much more than half their shots overall. We're back striking now and both fighters seem to be doing a bit better as we approach the halfway mark in the last round. Taphorn takes the figh to the ground as we approach the final minute - he really needs to pull of a submission but Kobashi is landing some nasty looking GnP. Taphorn is trying to get back to his feet - he's had enough already here! And we're out of time ladies and gents - so let's see how the judges scored this.

Kobashi def. Taphorn via decision (unanimous).

ITFL 2 - Week 7/2

part 1...

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1361817591itfl2.png

Joseph Shoznes (4-4) vs. Cornel Develutian (4-5)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40w14.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1b19.jpg

Right, Ladies and Gentlemen, we're now into the second half of weeks 7's premier event here in London. Coming up we have Joseph Shoznes, fighting for Team Kaiser, take on Cornel Develutian, fighting for Team Reaper. Shoznes record in the tournament is 2-4 with Develutian's record also standing at 2-4...so let's see how they got on tonight.

Round 1 and the fight is soon taken into the clinch by Shoznes. Both fighters are trying to connect in the clinch but the fighters are struggling to connect. Still in the clinch we see Shoznes connect with an elbow giving Develutian a cut. Shoznes is getting the better of the current situation but is still only landing around half of his shots. Develutian is trying to land some knees but Shoznes is avoiding well and manages to get a left hand by his defences and Develutian is rocked!! Shoznes is landing knees and Develutian is struggling to recover. Shoznes with some dirty boxing as he has Develutian against the cage and a quick right hook lands for him and Develutian is down and definitely out!!

Shoznes def. Develutian via 1st round KO (strikes).

Salvatore Lucania (3-2-1) vs. Hamed Al Zahran (10-6-1)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/23/23w15.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40b20.jpg

The next fight will see Salvatore Lucania, fighting for Team Fighters First Nutrition, go up against Hamed Al Zahran of Team Syndicate Nutrition. Record wise, Lucania is 2-2 with Al Zahran, who is the more experienced fighter overall, having a record of 3-3.

Round 1 and it looks like we're in for a stand up war as the 2 fighters start to beat the crap out of one another! Both fighters are really going for it and the crowd are loving it. As the fighters battle at striking distance it is Lucania that tries to change things up a little by going for a clinch but then decides to break away almost immediately. Both fighters then keep the fight at striking distance for the remainder of the round.

Round 2 and the fighters are keeping it standing again. Lucania tries for a clinch but it is defended by Al Zahran. Looking at the fighters in more detail we see that Lucania has the slight reach advantage but Al Zahran is taking that in his stride, boasting the better stand up skills. Back to the fight, Lucania takes the fight into the clinch but seems to not be too sure there as he breaks free again. Back striking and not much has changed in terms of tactics - they're both happy to stand and bang with Lucania getting the better of the stand up.

Final round now and there's no let up in the action. Both fighters are still wanting a stand up war and that's what they're getting. The fighters are throwing a lot of shots but there's a sacrifice to be had and that's accuracy. The fight is taken into the clinch by Lucania but just like before he's also the one to break the clinch before either fighter can make anything of it. Back at striking distance and we're close to the end of the round and we've seen a very close round so far. Al Zahran has stepped things up a little and is looking to finish it before the decision is in the hands of the judges. However, it looks like we're off to the judges...

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u625/darksoulmma/ITFL_FOTN_zpsb9b2f520.png

And we have the results in and it's a DRAW!!

Diego Kramer (6-7) vs. Daniyel Nebi (10-7)

Diego Kramer is in the cage next, fighting for Team Heisenberg. He is set to face Daniyel Nebi fighting for Team Hells Balls Nutrition. Kramer comes to the fight tonight with a record of 6 losses and no wins. His opponent, Nebi, has a record of 1 win and 1 loss after joining the tournament during 5.

Round 1 and the 2 fighters waste no time and set the tone of the fight as they look to keep the fight standing. Kramer with the unsuccessful clinch attempt with fight staying at striking distance. Nebi is using his height advantage allowing him to stay outside of Kramer's range as he connects with those shots. Nebi is connecting with a succession of shots and bam! A jab connects well and Kramer is rocked. He could be going home early tonight. Kramer seems to have recovered and takes the fight into the clinch. Kramer getting the better of the clinch but decides to break away and get the fight back at striking distance.

Round 2 and Kramer gets the fight into the clinch early into the round. Both fighters are working hard in the clinch but Nebi decides to get the fight back at striking distance but Kramer is keen to keep the fight into the clinch and gets it back there seconds later. Kramer is desperate to get a good, clean knee to the head but is having no luck as Nebi defends well. Kramer is getting the better of the clinch, scoring well and it's no surprise when Nebi breaks the clinch. This is a good call by Nebi as he dominates the fight out of the clinch.

Round 3, and after a brief exchange, Kramer takes the fight into the clinch. Kramer is far more active in the clinch and is out scoring Nebi, connecting well with a variety of attacks. Nebi takes the fight out of the clinch and back at striking distance. Nebi doing better out of the clinch and Kramer knows this as he makes several attempts to take the fight back into the clinch. With just over a minute left in the round Kramer gets the fight into the clinch and is stepping up the action! Kramer is again dominating the clinch keeping very busy as Nebi tries to control the action.

Nebi def. Kramer via decision (unanimous).

Jared Wild (8-4) vs. Magnetic Symphony (1-7)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/5/5w12.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/9/9w9.jpg

Up next we have an appearance by Jared Wild, fighting for Team BHP and Magnetic Symphony, fighting for Team Steel Penn. By comparison, Wild is having a far better time in the tournament than Symphony with a record of 3-3 against Symphony's record of 1 win and 5 losses! Wild will be wanting this fight to stay on the feet being the better stand up fighter.

Round 1 and the fighters are sizing each other up as they send out a few test shots. Mostly missing it's not long before Wild connects with a head kick sending Symphony to the mat. A cut Symphony is back on his feet and Wild tries his luck with a crazy hook that is blocked by Symphony. Wild looks like he's up to something...and it's here...a superman punch from Wild and Symphony is down!!And the referee is in there before Wild even thinks about making sure the fight is over!

ITFL 2 - Week 7/2

part 2...

Conan Drogo (13-5) vs. Julian Knight (6-5)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42a2.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/11/11w5.jpg

Team Kaiser and Team Reaper are up next with their fighters, Conan Drogo for Team Kaiser and Julian Knight for Team Reaper. Drogo has only 2 losses on his tournament record with 4 wins, all down to stoppages, with Knight currently 3-3. With both fighters coming off of a loss let's see who wants this win the most.

Round 1 and the fighters begin to trade blows. There's not much between these 2 fighters with both fighters preferring to let their hands do the talking. Drogo tries to take the fight into the clinch but Knight wants the fight to stay at striking distance. We've got fists flying everywhere with Knight picking up a cut in the exchange and Drogo being the more active fighter at the moment. Drogo continues to try and take the fight into the clinch but each time Knight is successful in keeping him at a distance.

Round 2 and we see a knockdown soon into the round as Knight counters with a right hand that sends Drogo to the mat. Although Drogo is by far the more active fighter, it seems that Knight is going more for quality over quantity. Will this pay off in the long run though? Knight has followed Drogo to the ground and is trying to land some shots from there. A few shots make it through but Drogo is managing to avoid a lot of the damage. As the pace slows down the referee makes the decision to stand the fighters up. Drogo the more active fighter again and he's getting the better of the stand up as the round comes to an end.

Round 3 and Drogo is going mad again. Although connecting well we see Knight take advantage landing some counter shots with ease. Drogo gets the fight into the clinch and fails to land with his shots before Knight decides to take the fight to the ground. On the ground Drogo is preventing Knight doing any damage as he controls causing the referee to stand the fighters up again. Drogo again with the clinch. Both fighters are struggling to land anything in the clinch and we see the round, and the fight come to an end. Which means...it's in the hands of the judges...

Drogo def. Knight via decision (unanimous).

Vitali Kersikov (7-4) vs. Tim Smith (7-4)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/3/3w1.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42w11.jpg

Next up we see Team Kaiser once again take on Team Reaper. Vitali Kersikov is the man fighting for Team Kaiser and he is going up against Tim Smith, of Team Reaper. Both fighters had a bad start to the tournament, both losing their first 2 fights followed by a 4 win come back.

Round 1 and Kersikov gets cut pretty early in the round. The fighters are very active and are keeping the fight standing which is pretty much expected from 2 well trained stand up fighters. Smith takes the fight into the clinch but has second thoughts after throwing a couple of shots. Back at striking distance the fighters continue to keep the fight standing. There's little let up in the action and I can see this is going to be a close round. Smith takes the fight back into the clinch and the fighters continue to keep up the pace with both fighters landing well in the clinch.

Round 2 and Smith comes out the more active fighter landing quite a few shots. Kersikov is working on slowing Smith down, concentrating on getting those kicks in there. Smith gets the fight into the clinch and has Kersikov against the cage softening him up with some punches. Kersikov controlling the action looking to slow things down a little. Smith goes for the first and only takedown of the fight but it is defended well - Kersiov wants this fight to stay standing. Smith decides to break the clinch - he's had enough - and the fighters are back striking. The fighters have a short exchange and Smith gets rocked! Smith is in danger and needs to recover. It's too late though as Kersikov connects with a hook...and then another and another! Smith is face down on the canvas and the ref dives in to the rescue!

Kersikov def. Smith via 2nd round TKO (punches).

Dragon Warfist (10-5-1) vs. Kirk Lazarus (7-4)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/2/2w3.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/1349628629KirkLazarus.jpg

Dragon Warfist and Kirk Lazarus take to the cage next. Warfist is here fighting for Team BHP and has just recovered from a 3 loss streak taking a win in week 6 giving him a record of 3-3. Lazarus is fighting for Team Steel Penn and so far is having a better time in the tournament only losing in his first appearance in week 1 leaving him with a record of 5-1.

Round 1 and Lazarus comes out fighting taking the more aggressive approach. In the exchange we see Warfist get cut and after a few more shots are exchanged the fight is taken into the clinch by Lazarus. Warfist is trying to break the clinch but Lazarus is keeping the clinch. Lazarus is going heavy trying to land some knees but we're looking at a good few misses. Both fighters are busy in the clinch as the round comes to an end.

Round 2 and Warfist takes the fight into the clinch pretty early and starts working aggressively. Warfist is landing some good punches which will be causing Lazarus some pain. Lazarus is still trying to land knees in the clinch but we're not seeing a great deal landing - Warfist is definitely getting the better in the clinch. And Lazarus is rocked - will we be seeing a round 3? OK - he seems to be doing OK and is back trying to land some knees in the clinch. Despite getting the better of the clinch, Warfist is trying to get free and return to striking. And we see the round end in the clinch.

Round 3 and Lazarus is making the first moves again but is struggling to connect. Warfist seems to be getting the better of the stand up but not by much! Lazarus takes the fight into the clinch and the fighters struggle to get the upper hand here. Both fighters are Warfist scores an uppercut in the clinch putting Lazarus on one knee. Lazarus makes his way back up...but he is all over the place. Warfist takes the fight out of the clinch and back we're back to striking. And he connects with a left hook after faking a low blow causing Lazarus to drop his hands...and Lazarus is out!

And we have a call out from Warfist...he's calling out Knight and something about his big mouth manager...Stu. Maybe there's some history there...stay tuned and let's see if that's happening.

Warfist def. Lazarus via 3rd round KO (punch).

Lance Templeton (6-3) vs. Colin Croft

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1w2.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/22/22b14.jpg

We're getting closer to the main event of week 7 but be sure that there's plenty of excitement in the meantime as Lance Templeton, fighting for Team Kaiser, takes on Colin Croft fighting for Team Reaper. Templeton is 4-1 after entering the tournament in week 2. Croft is doing a little better with a record of 6 wins and is yet to lose a fight here.

Round 1 and we see the fighters exchange a few shots before the fight is taken into the clinch by Croft. The fighters are active in the clinch but both fighters are struggling to score with any real effect. Templeton is trying to escape from the clinch but Croft is keeping the action firmly in the clinch.

Round 2 and Croft is keeping his distance and using his reach advantage to drop some shots out of reach of Templeton. To answer this Templeton decides to take a shot at Croft's dick and is successful! All joking aside it looked painful. We rejoin the fight 5 minutes later after Croft has had the chance to recover. Croft is still keeping his distance and throws a head kick that connects nicely with Templeton's dome and he is down! Croft wants the fight on the feet and Templeton obliges. Templeton goes for a kick but Croft counters it with a straight right hand and Templeton is rocked! Templeton tries to land another kick which is countered but he has still not recovered. An uppercut from Croft sends Templeton tumbling and he's on the ground...this time there's no stand up as Croft follows, raining down strike after strike and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight.

Croft def. Templeton via 3rd round TKO (strikes).

ITFL 2 - Week 7/2

part 3...

Robert Beckett (14-4) vs. Aloysius Martin Thesz (10-3)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/41/41a1.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13830178273557.jpg

With 2 fights left we go to Robert Beckett and Aloysius Martin Thesz next. Fighting for Team BHP we have Robert Beckett. A record of 4 wins and 2 losses he faces Aloysius Martin Thesz. Thesz is fighting for Team Steel Penn and is coming to the fight with a record of 3-2.

Round 1 and Thesz is looking for a takedown but Beckett is defending them well. There's a few more shots exchanged and then Thesz gets his takedown. Thesz lands some shots before going for a submission. With a black belt and 2 sub wins on his record, Beckett could be in trouble. Thesz fails to get a sub and the fighters remain on the ground. Thesz with some GnP but he's missing quite a few shots as both fighters are working away on the ground.

Round 2 and it looks promising for Beckett as the fighters look like they're going to keep the fight standing - however, Thesz has other ideas as he manages to get the fight on the ground. Beckett is working to minimize the potential damage here with Thesz trying to get to a better position. Some GnP from Thesz and he moves to full mount - we're looking at a potentially bad situation here for Beckett. Thesz is GnP'ing the shit out of Beckett and he's rocked! More punishment and Beckett is tapping out!

Thesz def. Beckett via 2nd round submission (strikes).

Ugor Makinwa (13-3) vs. Dmitry Borschev

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42b27.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/19/19w14.jpg

Ladies and Gentlemen we are here - the final fight of week 7. It's another appearance for Team BHP and Team Steel Penn. Fighting for Team BHP, Makinwa is 1-1 after entering the tournament in week 5. Borschev is fighting for Team Steel Penn and also comes to the fight with a record of 1-1 after starting the tournament in week 5.

Round 1 and the fighters are opening up the round with a lot of kicks when a head kick connects from Makinwa giving Borschev a nasty looking cut. Borschev is looking like the more aggressive fighter throwing more punches as the fighters continue with the stand up. Makinwa manages to pick up a cut as Borschev continues to dominate the stand up.

Round 2 and we pick up where round 1 left - that is - the fighters really going for it! Borschev still getting the better of the fight, throwing more shots and connecting well. There's a lot of kicks coming from Borschev as he tries to wear him down. Makinwa is starting to breath a little heavily but shows that he can still get in there and score some pretty inpressive shots. As the fight continues into the last minute the fight as turned out to be one decent stand up battle. And the round comes to an end and we await the judges decision...

Borschev def. Makinwa via decision (unanimous).

part 1...

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1361817591itfl2.png

Salvatore Lucania (4-2-1) vs. Sherif Fathy (7-8)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/23/23w15.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/15/15b12.jpg

We're kicking week 8 off with a fight between Salvatore Lucania and Sherif Fathy. Lucania is fighting for Team Fighters First Nutrition. His last appearance ended in a draw bringing his current record to 2-2-1. Sherif Fathy is fighting for Team Hells Balls and has only manage 1 win so far in the tournament, which, coincidentally was against a former Fighters First ITFL fighter.

Round 1 and we see Lacania take the fight into the clinch very early into the round. He's not having much luck in the clinch so decides to take the fight back to striking distance. The fighters trade blows and Fathy decides to take the fight into the clinch but finds himself in a bad situation against the cage. Luckily, Lucania isn't too keen to fight in the clinch just yet and the fighters get back to striking. Fathy scoring with some impressive stand up and Lucania is cut after Fathy lands a head kick! The fighters continue to keep the fight at a distance and we're looking at a very close round.

Round 2 and the fight is staying at a distance for the time being. Lucania is trying to take the elsewhere as he firstly tries for a clinch and a little later a takedown - all of them defended against. Fathy takes the fight into the clinch - overall he is getting the better of the round so far. We're staying in the clinch for the rest of the round as the fighters connect with some decent shots but struggle to land consistently.

Round 3 and both fighters are still in the game, so this is going to be the decider round. Lucania opens up the round by landing a shot, snapping Fathy's head back. A short exchange and the fight is taken into the clinch by Fathy. Both fighters are landing with mixed success and we're soon back at striking distance. Back at striking it's Lucania that's getting the better of the stand up landing many shots with Fathy struggling to get a look in. But it's not enough for a finish and we're off to the judges.

Lucania def. Fathy via decision (unanimous).

Steve Menzies (1-8) vs. El Pintos (5-4)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/7/7w12.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/33/33w5.jpg

Up next we see fighters Steve Menzies, fighting for Team Heisenberg, take on El Pintos who is fighting for Team Syndicate Nutrition. Menzies is having a terrible time in the tournament with not a single win in all 7 of his previous fights. Pintos is currently 4-4 in the tournament.

Round 1 and Menzies starts the round off going straight for Pintos. Menzies struggles to connect but manages to get a few shots in as he counters Pintos. Pintos picks up the pace causing a cut for Menzies. As the fighters trade blows Pintos looks the more active and is managing to connect with more of his shots than Menzies. A counter shot by Pintos lands and Menzies is rocked! He must be thinking 'no, not again' as all of his losses have been via a finish. Pintos tries to take out his legs and Menzies is all over the place! Menzies is sent reeling by an overhand right from Pintos and Pintos is unrelenting as he keeps up the pressure...a few more punches and Menzies is out cold.

Pintos def. Menzies via 1st round KO (punches).

Diego Kramer (6-8) vs. Zell Griever (12-5)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1w20.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/41/41b16.jpg

We have another fight between Heisenberg Fight Team and Team Syndicate Nutrition as Diego Kramer takes on Zell griever. Kramer has a tournament record of...well...all losses. Yep all 7 of them bitches. Griever's record looks a bit better with 3 wins and 4 losses.

Round 1 gets going and Kramer tries to take the fight into the clinch but Griever defends well. Griever has quite the reach advantage here tonight. Kramer tries to take the fight into the clinch again but Griever avoids it and lands a huge combo knocking Kramer down! Kramer has no choice other than to stand but he is clearly rocked and looks like he's cut. Griever drops Kramer and he could be in trouble! And he is! Griever is on him landing undefended strike after strike and the referee is here to save Kramer from more damage. It's over.

Griever def. Kramer via TKO (strikes).

Ugor Makinwa (13-4) vs. Julian Knight (7-5)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42b27.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/11/11w5.jpg

Team BHP and Team Reaper send in their fighters next and this is the first time the 2 teams make their appearance this week. Fighting for Team BHP we have Ugor Makinwa. Makinwa made his first appearance in week 5 where he won via a TKO - however, things have gone down hill after losing his next 2 fights. Knight has appeared every week and has a tournament record of 3-4.

Round 1 and we see a little stand up before the fight is taken to the ground by Knight. Knight has the better position and is trying to connect with some GnP. Makinwa is doing some decent defending and manages to buck Knight off and take his back but only for a second as Knight gets back to the better position. Some more GnP from Knight but he is missing quite a lot due to some good defence by Makinwa.

Round 2 and Makinwa gets the action started with a head kick that just catches Knight. Makinwa is throwing more head kicks but they are failing to land and Knight keeps up the pace connecting in between the attempts. Knight gets the fight to the ground. Knight again with some GnP but isn't really active enough as Makinwa makes light work defending the shots. The referee gets the fighters back onto their feet. Makinwa is wanting to keep the fight standing but is losing out to Knight in the stand up as the round comes to an end.

Round 3 and the fighters are keeping the fight standing for a while. Knight is connecting well with his shots and in general has been connecting well through the previous rounds as well. Knight takes the fight to the ground but has been far from impressive here over the last couple of rounds. He lands some GnP and Makinwa is looking to get the fight back to standing but just cannot get up. Knight manages to score with some more GnP but it's not enough for a finish as we see the fight go to the judges...

Knight def. Makinwa via decision (unanimous).

John Lineker (8-9) vs. Silent Bob (10-7)

Having won only one of his fights in week 1 he has so a far managed to rack up 6 losses! Silent Bob is fighting for Team Syndicate Nutrition and currently has a record of 2-3 after joining the tournament in week 3.

Round 1 starts and Bob tries for a clinch straight away but Lineker wants not of that and defends against it. Bob is determined to get that clinch though as he tries over and over to cinch. Lineker is trying to keep on the outside and manages to get a couple of counter shots in but it's not long before Bob gets the fight in the clinch. Lineker is trying to break free from the clinch but is unsuccessful. Bob is connecting well with Lineker's head and an upper cut lands that sends Linker to the floor!! More shots from Bob and the referee has to step in!

Bob def. Lineker via 1st round TKO (strikes).

Kirk Lazarus (8-4) vs. Joseph Shoznes (4-5)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/1349628629KirkLazarus.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40w14.jpg

Kirk Lazarus and Joseph Shoznes are up next. Lazarus is here fighting for Team Steel Penn. Week 7 gave him only his second loss of the tournament leaving him with a record of 5-2. He goes up against Joseph Shoznes of Team Kaiser. Shoznes' record so far in the tournament is 3-4.

The bell rings and we start round 1 and Lazarus takes a hit to the head giving him a cut. Shoznes is throwing shots well outside of his range which means that he's not connecting too well at all. The fighters trade a little and the fight is taken into the clinch by Shoznes. Both fighters are landing shots in the clinch and a knee from Lazarus gives Shoznes a cut. The fighters continue in the clinch as the round comes to a close.

Round 2 and we see some half-arsed shots thrown to begin with but both fighters know that's getting them nowhere. The pace picks up a little but we're still seeing a few wasted shots thrown from too far away. Lazarus begins to score with some body shots in the hope of wearing down Shoznes. Shoznes is trying to get the fight into the clinch but Lazarus is happy to keep the fight at a distance where he's dominating the action.

Round 3 and Shoznes is looking to take the fight into the clinch early in the round. Still at striking distance and Lazarus is unloading a lot of leg kicks and they seem to be doing their job on Shoznes. Winning the stand up so far, Lazarus decides to see what he can find in the clinch. Both fighters are trying to do some damage with their knees in the clinch but are landing too few. Shoznes starts to become more aggressive as the fight comes to an end...and let's see what the judges thought of that fight...

Lazarus def. Shoznes via decision (unanimous).

Castiel Angel (14-5) vs. Vaimaa Fatu (9-7)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13818093877643.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13770309319008.jpg

Up next, fighting for Team Fighters First Nutrition is Castiel Angel. Angel's record is 4-3 and seems to have gotten into a pattern where he wins 1 and losses 1 - so if that pattern continues we should have a win here tonight for him. Vaimaa Fatu is fighting for Team Hells Balls with a record of 3-4.

Round 1 and Fatu ducks right into an uppercut from Castiel, picking up a cut as he does. Not a great start at all! Fatu defends against a takedown attempt, keeping the fight on the feet. The fighters are quite active as they try and connect but Angel is still looking for a takedown, which he eventually gets. On the ground and Fatu is trying to control the situation but Angel manages to get a few shots through. Angel is struggling to land with some GnP but manages to get a few through, opening up Fatu's cut more with each strike that lands. Fatu successfully slows the pace down a little but Angel is still working the GnP and Fatu's cut looks not too great...and it looks like, yes, the doc has been called in to take a look. And...that's it, the doctor has called it and we see the fight ended.

Angel via 1st round TKO (cut).

Maubee Away (13-7) vs. Hamed Al Zahran (11-6-1)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/10/10b14.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40b20.jpg

So next in the cage is Maubee Away, fighting for Heisenberg Fight Team against Hamed Al Zahran, fighting for Team Syndicate Nutrition. Away's record so far is 4-3 despite having a promising start. Al Zahran comes to the fight with a record of 3-3-1 so far in the tournament.

Round 1 and Al Zahran comes out the more aggressive fighter and is happy to land quite a few shots as Away keeps trying for the takedown. After many failed attempts he finally gets the fight to the ground. Away is throwing down some GnP but doesn't seem to care if they land or not! Al Zahran trying to control the action and looking to get the fight back to the feet. The referee soon steps in due to the lack of action and the fighters are stood back up but as there is only a few seconds left we reach the end of the round.

Round 2 and the fight is in the clinch as Al Zahran closes the distance taking the fight into the clinch. Al Zahran is throwing shots in the clinch but is struggling to land as he also has to keep Away from trying for a takedown. Still struggling to land, Al Zahran soon becomes victim to a takedown by Away and the fight is now on the mat. Al Zahran is slowing down the action, no doubt looking for a stand up which he soon gets.

We're into the last round now ladies and gentlemen and Away goes fora takedown straight away but is stopped by Al Zahran. Al Zahran is very active, going for strike after strike, stopping only to defend against another takedown attempt from Away. Al Zahran is determined to keep the fight standing but eventually Away gets the takedown he's tried most of the round to get. Al Zahran could be in trouble here as Away is trying to land some GnP from the back. Al Zahran is trying to get out of a bad situation but Away is keeping him where he wants him. There's only a few seconds on the clock...and that it's it! The end of the round and the end of the fight!!

Al Zahran def. Away via decision (unanimous).

Magnetic Symphony (1-8) vs. Kenta Kobashi (14-1)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/9/9w9.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u625/darksoulmma/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps8d77db13.jpg

Up next we have 2 fighters with a massive record difference. Fighting for Team Steel Penn we have Magnetic Symphony with a lousy record of 1-6. He faces Kenta Kobashi who is fighting for Team Kaiser. He has a tournament record of 6 wins and 1 loss.

Round 1 and Symphony starts the round quite aggressively but not so accurately! Kobashi starts to get a bit more active and the fighters start a stand up battle. Kobashi tries for a clinch but is stopped - that's not too much of a problem as he is currently dominating the round anyway. Kobashi looks for a few more clinches as the round continues but they are defended well by Symphony.

Round 2 and the fighters start of exchanging blows with Kobashi being the more accurate of the 2. Kobashi attempting to take the fight into the clinch and is successful halfway through the round. In the clinch Kobashi is really going for the head and successfully lands several uppercuts. Symphony on the other hand is having little luck in the clinch. Kobashi breaks the clinch and the fighters are back striking. Symphony is taking some heavy kicks from Kobashi and they will be causing him some pain.

Round 3 and Kobashi is the more aggressive fighter straight off and soon has the fight in the clinch. A hook to the side of Symphony's head connects for Kobashi rocking Symphony. Kobashi is trying to finish here and we see a tired Symphony getting knocked down! Back on his feet and he's down again - can Kobashi finish him? Not yet, Symphony is down a further 2 times but he's not getting KO'd that's for sure. Kobashi continues to dominate the round but Symphony just keeps coming. Kobashi has been throwing far more shots over the course of the fight and landing well with over half of his shots landing.

Kobashi def. Symphony via decision (unanimous).

Lance Kilkenny (6-4) vs. Colin Croft (10-0)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40w1.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/22/22b14.jpg

Kilkenny is coming to the fight with a record of 4-3 after losing to Evgeniy Malkin in week 7. He goes up against Croft who is having a great tournament and is yet to lose a fight. With a tournament record of 7-0 he currently stands second in the individual standings. His team, Team BHP, is currently 3rd in the group standings, just 1 point behind Kilkenny's Team Reaper.

Round 1 and Kilkenny is throwing so wild it looks like he's having a seizure! Kilkenny seems to sort out his wild strikes and starts to connect well and is the more aggressive fighter so far. Croft is also landing well and is taking the time to maximize from Kilkenny's aggression by scoring on a few counter shots. Croft tries to take the fight into the clinch but there's not going to be ay of that yet. As the round comes to an end we can see this is going to be a close one.

Round 2 and the fighters are trading shots from the start. Croft seems to be getting the better of the stand up so a far and could do with taking this round. Croft connects with a right hand and Kilkenny is cut! Croft connecting well and Kilkenny is down! Croft is staying put and Kilkenny gets back to his feet but is rocked. Kilkenny is not looking too good and Croft connects with a hook! And Kilkenny is out!!
