Wolf
You should have a mix of protein, carbs, and fats with every meal. You can eat just fruit but pair it with a protein source that's simple and small. For example 4 oz of broiled fish, some lunch meat, or even a handful of cashews. If you eat all your protein in one setting your diet will ultimately fail because your body will crave the protein later. Small meals often throughout the day (every couple of hours) is the key. I know that i was being sarcastic. I have IBS so i need to eat small and often but my meals mostly consist of a fuck load of meat
Guest
my meals mostly consist of a fuck load of meat So do mine, but that's probably why I'm 245 pounds. Well that and the copious amounts of soda and beer I consume. I'm about to start a diet though... any day now. I keep saying that every day, yet I never do follow through... GBK16
So do mine, but that's probably why I'm 245 pounds. Well that and the copious amounts of soda and beer I consume. I'm about to start a diet though... any day now. I keep saying that every day, yet I never do follow through... I started last month. Lost 12lbs since then and feel a lot better. Aiming to lose another 25lbs before September since I am going on holiday then so a lot of exercise will be needed.
Tats
I like to keep my fruit/breads limited to morning meals, as I use them for energy at the gym. Fruit and oatmeal for breakfast and maybe a tuna sandwich after the workout to bring the levels back up. Stopped eating carbs (aside from vegetables) after 3pm and I enjoy my dinner a lot more - protein source and veggies only.
Kanis
Just a Tip: Working with fresh ginger, Peel it with the edge of a spoon. You can work around the gnarls and so little waste. I am really bummed about how much ginger I have wasted in the past, because I didnt know this. Cheers and good eats to all

GBK16
Pretty sure I have posted this before, but this time, I will explain how to make it my way, along with pics as I was making it. GBK16'S CHILLI CON CARNE! Ingredients Min. of 1lb Minced Beef 1 Large Onion (I used a Spanish Onion for the juices) 800g of Chopped Tomatoes 400g of Beans (I used Baked Beans, but Kidney Beans are also perfect) Spices (I use my own blend of spices, but you can use a packet of Chilli Con Carne spice mix) Max. of 100g white rice per portion Top with Cheese if you wish. Serve with Pitta Breads. First, you want to prepare the ingredients before you cook the meat, so you can add everything straight away without stopping and starting. http://i.imgur.com/MSwOBjo.jpg I finely diced an onion into small-medium sized pieces in order for them to add their flavour to the meal without being too small. http://i.imgur.com/3gi5P1K.jpg As for your meat. I use Minced Beef that I got from my local butchers, as I am on a diet so I wanted to ensure I got the best meat I could. http://i.imgur.com/LmgDGqA.jpg My cooker uses the 1-6 scale of heat. I put it onto 5/6 to begin with, and to begin with, add a small drop of oil (I used this brilliant Grapeseed Oil) to the pot, and swirl it so it covers the base. Add in all your beef, and keep stirring and moving it so all the meat is cooked nice and brown. http://i.imgur.com/ay9f0Mc.jpg This is just my personal preference, but I recommend it overall as it allows the other ingredients to add their flavour better to the meal, while also making it that much healthier. I drained the fat from the pot using a large strainer. As you put the beef into it, keep moving it so all the fat can be drained. Afterwards, create a crater in the middle of the pot, with all the meat to the sides. http://i.imgur.com/SadSzhz.jpg What you now want to do, is fill the crater with the diced onion. Ensure you keep stirring the meat and onion combination quickly to ensure they don't stick to the bottom of the pan. http://i.imgur.com/iihFVs3.jpg Now what you want to do is add a small portion of your spices. Out of the amount of spice I used, I used about 50% of it in this part, so the spices can mix and infuse into the meat to preserve the spicy flavour on it for later. http://i.imgur.com/s9ho9S6.jpg You have to keep stirring constantly to stop it from sticking while the spices mix in. After approximately 15-20 seconds of constant stirring, you should again create a crater in the centre of the pot, and add the 800g of Chopped Tomatoes to the crater. What you then do, is mix it from the middle out, so the tomatoes can spread out nicely and evenly. http://i.imgur.com/4UxmyvL.jpg You now add about half of the remaining spice, so 25% of the total, to this. This allows the spices to mix in with the tomatoes juices from the chopped tomatoes, and makes the juices have a better Chilli taste. You then just add the 400g of Baked Beans to the mixture, stirring to get it evenly spread around the pot. http://i.imgur.com/UeZmPoA.jpg You then add the rest of the spice mixture, and add in anything extra you feel it needs (I added extra Salt and Pepper). This should have taken you around 20-30 mins depending on your own pace of cooking. What you then do it turn the heat down lower (I lowered it to 2) so it can simmer and cook while keeping hot, but without it burning to the bottom of the pot. Start cooking your rice (which takes me 20 mins to cook) and around 14 mins into the 20 mins of cooking the rice, start toasting your pitta breads. http://i.imgur.com/6lFMwvI.jpg Once the Rice is cooked, serve it on either a plate or a pasta dish (I find Pasta Dishes to be more suitable for this meal), leaving a bed of rice in the centra, with it sort of like a crater. You then add your mince into the centre of the rice, so it will have rice on the edge of the chilli. Top with cheese if you wish, and enjoy with your pitta breads!

Wolf
Nice Pizza. What kind of cheese did you use, and what are stuff you put on it. Cheese is just a ball of mozzarella from Tesco's lol. For the base i has pasatta sauce until it was nice and thick. I used Pepperoni on this one but usually just use some other salami types. One half has peppers on cos i dont like them but my brother wanted them on lol. But yea it was awesome
