Skap Posted January 11, 2014 Report Share Posted January 11, 2014 This is probably going to be the norm until orgs start making more money... since you fight almost weekly just ask him to lower the number of fights, that gives you more coin then fighting QFC and him a chance to make more money and offer a better contract. So costs (most especially signing bonuses) will be low until orgs start getting revenue off ticket sales after their first event or so. I do agree $50 is basically bottom of the barrel though. My first contract there I got 3k signing bonus, 2.5k per fight and 2.5k win. And I was a noob, a new manager in game. My advice, don't accept contracts lower than that. Also inactivity clause is very important on The Island, some orgs may become inactive there and you will have your fighter blocked for a long time. 15 days inactivity clause is the thing you should negociate first, 30 days if the org belong to an experienced manager. Only problem with that is there are 4 times as many people competing this season because of the free fighter slot. A 3k signing bonus to start is almost stupid. And everything you did was pretty much tied to one city as you couldn't afford to fly. So if an org could get you a spot in a gym, they essentially owned you. haha A more simple time for sure.
