Hello ladies and gentlemen Im Dale McCann. On tonights episode of MEET THE MAN we have an interview with a Indian MMA star from HONOR FC. Arshnoor "THE BRUTALIZER" Singh will be in the studio ladies and gentlemen.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/41/41w10.jpg

Q-Did you get here ok?

AS- I am doing great man!! Yeah it was a pleasant short trip. It took just 5 minutes in my friend's Porsche to reach here.

DM- Wow your friend must be rich, anyhoo lets get down to business and start this interview.

Q. What sort of condition are you in coming up to your next fight?

A. Whether I am booked for a fight or not, I am always in great shape ready to step in the cage anytime anywhere.

Q. Yeah being a fighter these days i guess you have to live in the gym and eat healthy all the time its not a part time sport. So how far away do you think you are from you next title shot?

A. Title shots can wait. What I cannot wait for is to KO these two guys. One goes by name ''THE LITHUANIAN SISSY'' Bolius kalabokASS. He has been ducking me from a long time. The other one is named ROCK''THE RATSHIT' LEE. He defeated my little bro so I got to pay him back double time.

Believe me I never stop chasing down and crushing the enemy I find before me, so until I finish business with these two chumps the title shot has and will have to wait.

Q. Well you defiantly came to this interview with a purpose, guess it was calling these guys out, good on you. How good is you relationship wit HONOR?

A. Our relationship us pretty simple. They offer me fights and in return I give them KO's.

Q. Well what else does an org owner want right??? Im sure Dan Monk is pleased to have you. Give us a bit of back ground? And what you get up to outside of MMA?

A. I am from Punjab, India. I used to practice khusti in my village back then. What you guys call Wrestling here we call it khusti in my country. That served as a base for my MMA carrier in early days. Like every Punjabi guy I am hot headed at times. If you don't act right with me I will hand you your ass. If you play nice I play nice. Outside MMA I have a lot of hobbies. I like to watch Football, Cricket and some tennis. Whenever i feel a little down I listen to Tupac. Listening to the real stuff rejuvenates my senses and nerves.

Q. Tupac what an artist and superstar R.I.P. Who is your biggest inspiration from MMA?

A. My idol is The Croatian Mirko cro cop. Saw him once on T.V when I was kid. Got so inspired that now I do the same thing.

DM- Yeah he was a quality fighter and Im sure there are kids that look up to you. Its refreshing to see someone so confident in them selfs. I want to say thank you for coming and giving us your time and insight Arshnoor.

AS- Yeah some kid probably got a poster of me on the wall haha. I enjoyed getting my views across so thank you Dale.

DM- That concludes todays episode of MEET THE MAN with Arshnoor "THE BRUTALIZER" Singh . Well folks thats a rap, remember to tune in fight fans for weekly interviews with the sports top fighters.

Well we had a great night of fights, a little controversy and some big knockouts go a long way in my book. I personally had an epic night of drinking and winning some money thanks to In The Red Sportsbook. It was the first time I have profited from putting down my hard earned cash and that makes this event all the more special. The big sell I am sure helped Meet the Future as well, so it seems everyone had a great night, well almost everyone as I know at least ten people who did not.

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Featherweight Fight (135lbs)

Johnny "Brutal" Bedford defeats Justin "Glenn" Bostic

Normally I break down each and every round but I just can’t do that for this fight. This was one sided from the opening buzzer. Bostic was zero for one on strikes for all three rounds. He was also zero for five on takedowns. Everything else that happened was Bedford landing strikes in and out of the clinch, scoring takedowns, and trying to finish. Bostic was out matched and overpowered in this match up and it showed. Bedford won by unanimous decision but it’s not because he was not trying to finish. We need to give a hand to Bostic for taking a beating like that, but still defending every submission and moving forward while the better fighter picked him a part. A lot of heart was shown from Bostic tonight, but Bedford gets the big payday with the unanimous decision win.

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Light Heavyweight (205lbs)

"The Real O.G." Ragnar Lothbrok defeats Tim Tupy

The Real O. G. who doesn’t love that name? Ragnar The Real O. G. was super-fast out there tonight, and he had amazing foot work. Tupy was looking to land but a lot of shots right off the bat but Ragnar was able to avoid most of them by slipping jabs and dancing out of the way of hooks. Ragnar did not just use his feet to duck and dodge punches as he landed a few kicks, one of which was a high kick that knocked Tupy into the middle of next week. Ragnar got the big head kick knockout at :48 of the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

"Dangerous" Phillip Finnegan defeats Gustov "Downtown" Brown

The first minute of this fight was jam packed with Finnegan landing at will, and Brown whiffing on everything. The next minute did not get much better, as Finnegan continued to swarm Brown. Finnegan landed a huge head kick that knocked Brown down, and after Brown got back up Finnegan dropped him with a punch only this time he rushed in and got the finish. Finnegan won the fight by TKO at 1:40 of the first round. A very interesting stat in this fight Brown landed only ten percent of his strikes to Finnegan’s eighty one percent. After I seen that I understood why this fight only lasted one minute and forty seconds.

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Bruce Shashia defeats Dallas "Haneous" Riley

Another one sided fight in this one. Riley landed zero strikes out of one attempt and zero take downs on four attempts. Shashia landed seven out of eleven strikes while standing and two out of three from the ground. Shashia just imposed his will on Riley and after just 1:53 in the first round the referee had to call a stop to the fight. Shashia got the win via TKO after knocking Riley to his knees and then pummeling him until the ref could stop the fight.

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Todd Flanders defeats "Tap U Out" Teddy Bass

The first minute of this fight was all Flanders. Flanders was landing with leg kicks but he quickly moved up wards on Bass and even split his face open. Flanders then took control in a clinch as Bass struggled to get out of it. Bass did eventually pull guard and he went for a submission but Flanders was able to defend it and then stand up. That was about all she wrote for Bass as Flanders showed off his superior striking skills. Flanders was able to get back to the clinch and he started to unload. At one point I thought Bass was out on his feet, and Flanders just couldn’t finish him, even though he certainly tried. The entire last two minutes of the first round was Flanders going to the head and body of Bass.

I couldn’t believe Flanders did not get the win in the first round, but that shows you just how important a good hearts is in this business. With that being said just 0:08 seconds into the second round Flanders was declared the winner after he landed an uppercut and then followed the falling Bass to the mat to finish with strikes.

Main Card Bout Number 1- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

Austin "Hollywood" Worner defeats Steven "Hecklly" Heck

In the first round Heck was able to take Worner to the ground, but the tide quickly changed. Worner went to work attempting submission after submission but Heck was able to defend well. Towards the end of the first round these two fighters got to hear exactly what the fans thought of them both taking a break. I was surprised that the referee did not stand the two up, but eventually Worner did got back to work on trying submissions. The round comes to an end and I easily have Worner winning 10-9.

Heck did a great job getting take downs in the second round, but Worner was able to hold and control to the point we had several referee stand ups. The action on the mat was not entertaining at all in the second but seeing Heck fly in a takedown Worner was interesting to see. Heck easily won the round 10-9 and I have the fight 19-19 after two.

A snore fest happened in the the third round, Heck got a takedown and we got a ref stand up. Worner clinched and did a little damage, and then got a takedown of his own. Heck was able to stand up but he was traped in the clinch. Worner did a little more damage but nothing significant. I gave the edge to Worner but by just a small bit. 10-9 Worner for the round 29-28 for the fight and two of the three judges agreed. Worner wins a majority decision in a very unentertaining fight.

Main Card Bout Number 2- Middleweight Title Fight (185lbs)http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20140125174553Honorbelt.jpg

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/41/41w22.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/30/30b22.jpg

"The Wasp" Wayde West defeats Donovan "Ronin" Robertson

I thought West would put up a good fight against Robertson but I figured the champ could hold on to his gold. I was wrong as West simply put on a show defeating the middleweight champion in the first round. Robertson tried and tried to get a takedown but West was able to sprawl out of each and every attempt. Not only was he able to avoid the takedown but his kicks were very impressive. West changed levels with them well, not allowing Robertson to time them and grab a takedown. West landed nineteen leg kicks which I am sure also helped him avoid the takedowns. He also landed nine body kicks and six head kicks wearing Robertson down. In the mists of head and body kicks West landed a stiff punch that put Robertson down and he was then able to pound away till the referee stopped the fight. The winner and new HFC Middleweight Champion “The Wasp” Wade West!!! He got the TKO at 3:21 of the first round via referee stoppage.

Main Card Bout Number 3- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Arshnoor "THE BRUTALIZER" Singh defeats Georgey "Suplex" Prendergast

I though Singh would win the fight by head kick which looking back at it, I should have known it wouldn’t be a head kick. Prendergast is a wrestler and head kicks leave you open for takedowns and Singh was not prepared to go to the ground. Singh and his camp made the right adjustments and decided to go heavy on punches and then use leg kicks to slow down the takedown attempts. Perfect game planning as Singh was able to stuff all five takedown attempts and then make Prendergast pay for the thought. Singh knocked Prendergast to the ground but he quickly got up, then Singh landed a huge hook and Prendergast went down again, this time Singh was able to pounce on him and get the referee stoppage at 1:31 of the first round winning by TKO.

Co Main Event Main Card Bout Number 4- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/30/30w20.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/27/27w31.jpg

"Nobushi" Mitsuyo Maeda defeats Ted "Diet" Coke

I had a feeling this fight would not be entertaining and honestly I was right. I figured the jet lagged Maeda would be slow and a bit out of it from the long travel right before the fight and I was certainly wrong about that one. Maeda got several takedowns in the first round but he only looked to control and hang on instead of showing us some killer instinct and trying to finish. Coke couldn’t do much but he was able to stand up only to be then taken down again. Maeda won this round with ease 10-9 scoring three takedowns on Coke.

Maeda got a takedown in the second round nice and early and once again Coke was able to rise to his feet after attempting some submission while on the ground. Then Coke went for it all going for takedowns and submissions and scoring points while looking to finish. Coke won this round clearly 10-9 which would bring the fight to 19-19 and it will now come down to who can win the next round.

I think Coke wore his self out in the second round because we did not see much from him in round three. Maeda was able to get two takedowns and after the second one Coke seemed to be ok with lying around and just trying to maintain guard. Maeda put on a little ground and pound but not much. If Coke would have put forth as much effort in the third round as he did in the second I think he would have won the round despite being takedown twice but I had to score the round for Maeda and all three judges agreed. Maeda wins the third round 10-9 and wins the fight 29-28 by way of unanimous decision.

Main Event Main Card Bout Number 5- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/24/24w19.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/32/32w34.jpg

"THE BUTCHER" Karl Grossman defeats Taylor "woob woob woob" Clark

The battle of the experienced was certainly a good one. Grossman was able to dominate in the clinch in the first round and I think he got the better of the striking at range. Clark did put up a good fight in the first round but Karl Grossman was able to sail away with the first round by landing at a higher percentage and the little bit of work he did in the clinch. I gave the round to Grossman 10-9.

Clark put on a much better showing in the second staying with Grossman as the two punched and kicked each other for a while. It was hard to tell who was winning the round until Grossman was able to sink in a body lock near the end of the fight. From the clinch Grossman was able to outscore Clark in strikes and damage as Clark just wanted to break away and Karl was landing shots. I think Grossman won the round with ease but once again just because of the clinch. I have the round 10-9 for Grossman and the fight for Grossman 20-18, and if I am correct Clark will need to finish in the third.

The third round starts and the two are striking each other once again. Grossman was landing at a better percentage but I think Clark might have been doing a little more damage. Once again Grossman locks up in the clinch and shows that his dirty boxing skill is far more advanced than Clark’s. Once Clark was able to break away from the clinch Grossman knew he had the fight in the bag. Karl went on the defensive just trying not to get finished as Clark pressed forward. The third round was the closest round but I scored it once again for Grossman 10-9 leaving my score card reading 30-27. All three judges’ score cards came up the same as mine as Karl Grossman wins the fight by unanimous decision.

We had a few duds on this card, but we also had some very exciting fights. We crowned a new champion and possibly seen the last of Karl Grossman as I heard he was contemplating retirement. Mr. Monk always looks to bring in the best fights and the best match ups so seeing a few guys out matched was strange to see, but I am sure we will be back on track. Overall I still feel this was an amazing event and the fighters put on a great show but it did not have that HFC feel. Please join us for HFC 5 Breakthrough as I can tell you it that it will be one amazing show. We have guys fighting during the preliminaries that were top of the card talent a month ago. That just shows you the level of fighters Dan Monk has signed so he can bring you the very best MMA not only in Las Vegas but the world!

Evolution has come and pass and now it’s time to Breakthrough! To help Honor Fighting Championship Breakthrough owner, president, and match maker Dan Monk has put together one of the most loaded event cards we have seen. There are fights on the prelims that would have been on the main card a few weeks ago, there are fights on the main card that would have been a huge main event a few weeks ago, the main event is one of the most hyped fights Honor Fighting Championship has ever seen. I know not only will the fans be happy but the fighters will as well. All of this is being done to help each and every one of you Breakthrough! Events like this will certainly lead to bigger fights and bigger paydays. Also breaking through will be Meet the Future and In The Red Sportsbook as they should receive a lot more foot traffic from this event and future events to come. For all of your Honor Fighting Championship merchandise please visit Meet the Future and for all of you Honor Fighting Championship gambling needs stop by In The Red Sportsbook.

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Middleweight Fight

Yoshito "The Snake" Silva (4-4) {0-1} versus Bob "Beast" Harris (3-1) {1-0}

Where did Dan dig up Yoshito Silva? We have not seen him since we were still under the ICON tag. Honestly I thought the guy was dead it’s been so long since we heard a peep from him. Never the less he will be taking on dangerous grappler Bob Harris and he will need to stay away from the clinch and ground in this one. I think Silva has the standup skills to defeat Harris but he will need to avoid the ground game. Silva by no means is a slouch when it comes to grappling but I think Harris is just that much better. Harris will obviously want to get the fight to the ground, and he should look for any way to set that up. If Harris can get Silva to the ground he will need to out point him, because I do not see Harris finishing Silva with strikes or submissions. I think this will be a long one, but exciting, and I have Harris winning the fight by decision 30-27.

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

bj "Boogieman" Ferguson (28-16) {0-1} versus Joe "The Pitch" Castro (3-1-1) {2-1-1}

Ferguson is getting up there in age, and a retirement ceremony might be right around the corner, but it’s not Saturday night. He will be looking to get win number twenty nine for his career and win number one in Honor Fighting Championship. To get those wins he will need to use his wrestling abilities and craft veteran prowess. Castro is a young gun compared to BJ, and he can use that to his advantage. He will have a more physical training camp and he should look to use his speed advantage in this one. The Muay Thai striker should be out for blood, and he should try and take the veteran out early. I am going to take Castro in this fight but do not be shocked if Ferguson gets the win. I think Castro can get the stoppage in the first round with a TKO.

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Bud "King Of Beers" Weiser (3-2) {2-2} versus Al "KO" Hallick (2-0) {2-0}

The twenty five year old Weiser has been here since the beginning. So far Bud has compiled a two and two record in Honor Fighting Championship and he is looking to improve that to three and two when he takes on the hard hitting Hallick. To win this fight Weiser is going to need to rely on his wrestling and take this fight to the mat. Hallick is a striker who as improved his wrestling dramatically since coming to Honor Fighting Championship. He will try to keep this fight standing where he can work the clinch or strike from range. If Hallik can finish Weiser by TKO or knockout that would improve his record to three and zero with all three wins by (T)KO. I am going with the blue corner again as I predict Hallick to win by knockout in the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Khru "Big Buddah" Maokhamphiou (4-1-1) {0-1-1} versus Leo "MrJugguernaut" Martinez (4-0) {0-0}

If you look at Khru’s record from Honor Fighting Championship you would not be impressed, but he was four and zero when he signed the contract to come to Honor Fighting Championship. Since then he had a draw against Diego Russell and then a loss to Diego Russell in the rematch. Both of those fights where for the title and after losing one and drawing one Khru is ready to get back to winning ways. Leo is no push over as he will be making his debut in Honor Fighting Championship and he is coming in with an undefeated record. The twenty six year old Muay Thai striker won his first two fights by decision but he has learned how deadly his kicks are winning his last two fights by head kick knockout. He wants to make a big splash in Honor Fighting Championship and what better way to do that then to beat the man who fought for the very first Light Heavyweight Championship. I think blue is my lucky color as I am picking Leo Martinez to win by knockout in the second round.

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Featherweight (145lbs)

Ben Zaylor (10-1) {1-1} defeats Diego "Firefox ak" Nunes (17-12) {0-1}

Zaylor has been impressive so far in his career compiling a ten and one record in his professional career. His only loss came in his last fight when he dropped the Featherweight Championship to Dewayne Bryant losing by submission in the first round. Zaylor has been very dominant at times but a weakness that needs to be addressed was revealed in the Bryant fight. Nunes fights the type of fighter that can beat Zaylor. He should allow Zaylor to dictate the fight until it reaches the ground, and then he should pounce and look for as many submissions as he can. The brown belt has yet to win a fight by submission but now should be the time to try. I don’t think he will be able to submit Zaylor, but I do think Zaylor submits him in the first round.

Dewayne Bryant (7-4) {3-0} versus DeMario "McDojo Blackbelt" Williams (7-2) {2-0}

Bryant shocked the world in his last appearance as he defeated Ben Zaylor to capture the Honor Fighting Championship Featherweight Championship. Not only did he beat Zaylor but he did it in less than two minutes by showing off his black belt skills and earning the submission victory. He will have a lot of trouble getting Williams to the ground but if he does get the fight there it should end early once again. Williams is one of the best wrestlers in Honor Fighting Championship but he has improved his striking greatly. After seeing what Bryant can do on the ground Williams will want to keep this fight standing and turn this into a kickboxing match. I don’t think Williams is the best striker but he is light years ahead of Bryant. I don’t think Bryant will be able to get this fight to the ground and I see Williams winning by TKO in the second round.

Main Card Bout Number 2- Welterweight Fight (145lbs)

Kshitij "EL FENOMENO" Singh Negi (10-3) {0-1} versus Bjorn "Borg" Johanson (5-2) {0-0}

Negi made his debut in a title fight against Rock Lee which he lost by TKO in the second round. This young stud wants to prove to the world that was a fluke and get himself back into title contention. His team has been very sucsessful here in Honor Fighting Championship and he wants to carry that on. He will be looking for head kicks to score a quick knockout in this fight. Bjorn will be making his debut in Honor Fighting Championship and things are not exactly looking up for him at the moment. In his last two fights he is one and one with his win going the distance. He has a great opportunity here in HFC but he needs to get on the winning path sooner than later but I don’t think he can pull off a win in this one. He will need to be very defensive and look to counter if he hopes to beat Negi. I am going to pick Negi to win this fight by TKO in the third round.

Main Card Bout Number 3- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Jonathan "The Cheetah" Mvungi (7-4) {0-0} versus "THE KING" Oliver Queen (17-13) {0-0}

Both of these fighters are making their debut to Honor Fighting Championship and the winner of this could be seeing a title shot in the very near future. This should be a very interesting fight as Jonathan is a striker with heavy hands and Queen is more of an all-around fighter. I think Jonathan will have a slight advantage standing up and he could easily catch Queen with a big punch. I think Queen is the better fighter who has rounded out his game. He should look to take this fight to the ground where he will have a huge advantage over The Cheetah. No way can Jonathan keep up with the ground game of Queen. I am not saying that Queen can’t strike as he is good at that as well, all I am saying the advantage on the ground cannot be over looked. I think Queen does get the takedown and I see him winning by TKO in the second via ground and pound.

"Lord High Executioner" Albert Anastasia (12-4) {0-0} versus Aj Smith (17-14-1) {0-0}

The very first thing Anastasia needs to do is get a shorter nickname. The second thing he needs to do is make sure this fight stays standing. He should dominate Smith in the stand up and his wrestling is also better so he should be able to keep it up and at range. If he can Anastasia will be able to get off this two fight losing streak. Smith will have a clear cut advantage once this fight reaches the ground but the question will be can he get it there. He will struggle against Anastasia’s wrestling but he will need to try something to get it to the ground. Fourteen of Smith’s seventeen wins have come by submission so he knows the Jiu Jitsu game. Even though Anastasia has lost his last two fights I think he is just so much better than Smith right now, so I am going to pick him to win by TKO in the third round. It could come earlier has Smith does not have the greatest chin in the world.

Main Event Main Card Bout Number 5- Lightweight Fight (155lbs)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/23/23a2.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/38/38b3.jpg

Riley Cooper (18-5) {0-0} versus "Muharebe Tankı" Murat Orgun (19-12) {0-0}

This looks like one hell of a main event. Cooper is eighteen and five and he has yet to be knocked out in his career. Ten of his eighteen wins though have come by (T)KO, and he will look to add another in this one. Cooper’s striking is almost as good as Orgun so he may try to box this one out, but if Murat tries to lock in a body lock or plum clinch expect Cooper to pull guard. Murat Orgun is nineteen and twelve but he has only been finished twice in his career. Out of his nineteen wins fourteen have been by knockout so he will be looking to strike with Cooper. If Cooper wants to stand with him he should go for it because I feel Cooper is the better grappler. I think this will be a good old fashioned slugfest and I think it goes all three rounds. I see Cooper edging this one out barely 29-28 is my guess.

Well that will wrap up this preview and I hope each and every one of you enjoyed it. I will see you all Saturday night for Honor Fighting Championship Breakthrough. Preliminary Bout Number 1- Middleweight Fight

Yoshito "The Snake" Silva (4-4) {0-1} versus Bob "Beast" Harris (3-1) {1-0}

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

bj "Boogieman" Ferguson (28-16) {0-1} versus Joe "The Pitch" Castro (3-1-1) {2-1-1}

Breakthrough was one amazing event. Ten great fights including the Featherweight Title fight. Only two fights went the distance so we had plenty of exciting finishes and we will take a look at all of them. For those of you who follow my writings I have got back into the black with the betting as I only lost a few of my prediction on this event and I lost only a few hundred dollars but I won big on another event so this guy is pretty happy. I would like to send out a special thanks to In The Red Sportsbook for hosting the odds on our events. I would also like to thank Meet the Future for sponsoring our events, and JC Raven for all of the poster work.

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Middleweight Fight

Yoshito "The Snake" Silva majority draw Bob "Beast" Harris

Well this would have been very hard to predict. How could anyone say they think the fight will end in a controversial majority draw? The first round for me was a strange one on the judges’ score cards. Both fighters scored a takedown and both of them also looked for submissions. Silva looked for more submissions than Harris, but Harris scored a nice sweep after Silva’s takedown. Even though Harris was in more of a controlling mood I still think he won the round. I scored it 10-9 Harris while all three judges scored the round 10-9 for Silva.

The second round may be even more interesting on how it was judged. Silva scored two takedowns and Harris got none. Harris did control enough to get one stand up, and he was also able to get a sweep but Silva looked for submission and tried to finish. Harris only wanted to lie around and control, so I gave the round to Silva and I thought that should have been an easy round to score. One judge gave the round to Harris and I have no idea how, while the other two scored it 10-10. My card says 19-19, two judges’ cards read 19-20 Silva and the other card looks like mine as it says 19-19 but we score the rounds differently.

The third round was the most decisive round of the fight. Harris scored an early takedown and the fight never got back to standing. Harris did not attempt as many submissions as Silva but he controlled from the top and took better positions from time to time and I thought it was clear that Harris won the round. I scored the round 10-9 Harris so I have Harris winning 29-28. All three judges agree with me on the round so two of their cards read 29-29 while the over judge also has it 29-28 like I do. I am surprised by this fight ending in decision as I really think Harris won this fight.

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

bj "Boogieman" Ferguson defeats Joe "The Pitch" Castro

I cannot comprehend how Ferguson dominated this fight. I thought it would be a close good fight, and I predicted Castro to win, but he was out right dominated in this one. Ferguson got an early takedown and Castro was able to stand up after several attempts to pass to mount. Once Castro was up Ferguson went to the clinch, and then scored another takedown. This time instead of just trying to force a pass Ferguson being mixed it up well with strikes, and after a few minutes of repeatedly punched in the face Castro tapped out from the strikes. Ferguson gets his twenty ninth win at 3:51 of the first round do to submission because of strikes.

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Al "KO" Hallick defeats Bud "King Of Beers" Weiser

Weiser got the takedown right after the opening bell rang and then he spent about two minutes attempting to pound away on Hallick. Lucky for Al Hallick Weiser was landing at a terrible rate, less than fifty percent. Weiser got swept right after the two minute mark and Hallick just held on until we got a stand up. Once the two fighters where back to their feet the complexion of the fight took a major turn. Hallick landed three kicks one to the body and the other two to the head. The first one to the head cut Weiser and sent him to the mat, and then the second one sent him to the mat again only this time he would not get up. Al KO Hallick wins the fight by knockout via head kick at 2:53 of the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Khru "Big Buddah" Maokhamphiou defeats Leo "MrJugguernaut" Martinez

Khru came into this fight with an excellent game plan. He took the kicking away from Martinez by locking up and clinch and refusing to let it go. From the clinch Khru started throwing as many punches as he could and he focused on the head but he did go to the body here and there. Martinez cut a bad cut, but came right back and landed an elbow that cut Khru. Khru showed his heart and worked through the cut and eventully got the referee stoppage do to strikes. Khru wins the fight at 1:22 of the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Featherweight (145lbs)

Diego "Firefox ak" Nunes defeats Ben Zaylor

Zaylor did not seem like himself in this fight. The first round was not good, as Nunes was able to stop almost all of the takedown attempts that came from Zaylor. Nunes did several strikes but he was defending takedowns so much it was hard to link anything together. Nunes took the fight to the ground himself and tried for a submission but then decided he did not want to be on the ground with Zaylor. Once Zaylor got a takedown Nunes did a wonderful job controlling until there was a stand up. Nunes won this round with ease 10-9.

Zaylor gained the advantage in the clinch in the second round after being tagged up pretty badly early on. In the clinch Zaylor couldn’t do much as he tried more takedowns to no avail and threw so punches but Nunes did a great job of avoiding most of them. When the fighters were separated Nunes landed more strikes and then Zaylor locked it back up. The round came to an end with Zaylor accomplishing almost nothing. 10-9 for Nunes making the fight 20-18 for the fight in favor or Nunes.

Zaylor was back to looking to grapple in the third round as Nunes wouldn’t allow it. Every clinch attempt Nunes circled away and every takedown attempt Nunes was able to sprawl, and then made Zaylor pay for it. As the fight got latter Zaylor looked more desperate to grapple and Nunes just was not having it. Nunes outclassed Zaylor in the third round and everyone agrees Nunes won the round 10-9. That makes it 30-27 on my card and all three judges have the same thing wrote down. Diego Nunes wins by unanimous decision.

DeMario "McDojo Blackbelt" Williams defeats Dewayne Bryant

Williams opened the title fight showing off his superior stand up skill contacting with several punches before clinching with Bryant. Once inside the clinch Williams went to work on Bryant landing twenty plus punches. Bryant showed signs of life getting a takedown and bring the fight into his world. He looked for a submission but Williams defended well. After the successful submission defense Williams was able to hold down and control Bryant until we got a referee stand up. Back to the feet and Williams laid it on thick landing uppercuts and hooks that had Brant stumbling. Eventually with only twenty seconds left Williams got the big knockdown and the he swarmed with punches getting the TKO. Williams is the new Featherweight Champion winning the fight by stoppage at 4:40 of the first round.

Main Card Bout Number 2- Welterweight Fight (145lbs)

Kshitij "EL FENOMENO" Singh Negi defeats Bjorn "Borg" Johanson

Johanson was looking to take away the head kicks by going to the clinch and it kind of back fired. He was able to eliminate the head kicks but Negi was able to dominate inside the clinch. He really mixed up his strikes well not allowing Johanson to block or avoid. Johanson could not compete inside of the clinch but he knew he couldn’t take a flush head kick so he kept going to the clinch and then breaking it. Late in the round Negi could visiably see the damage he caused inside of the clinch and took control of one himself. He pushed Johanson up against the fence and started landing elbows to the face and knees to the body. Johanson was not defending well enough for the ref and he stepped end and called a stop to the fight. Negi gets the TKO stoppage win at 4:59 of the first round.

Main Card Bout Number 3- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

"THE KING" Oliver Queen defeats Jonathan "The Cheetah" Mvungi

Mvungi couldn’t land anything to open the fight and then Queen moved into the clinch. The two exchanged good hard punches in the clinch for a minute or so. Mvungi decided he wanted out of the clinch I guess he felt Queen was winning the dirty boxing. As soon as the clinch was broke Queen landed a few devastating strikes and Mvungi went down. Queen jumped on top and pounded Mvungi until the referee stopped the fight. Oliver Queen gets the big win at 1:30 of the first round by TKO.

"Lord High Executioner" Albert Anastasia defeats Aj Smith

This fight did not last long at all. Right from the opening bell Anastasia went after Smith swinging away hard and furiously. Smith was desperate to get the fight to the ground but Anastasia was having none of it. With each failed attempt of a takedown Albert landed a nice one on Smith. A sickening right landed on the jaw of Smith dropped him and that was the end of the fight. Albert Anastasia win the fight by knockout at just :49 of the first round.

Riley Cooper defeats "Muharebe Tankı" Murat Orgun

Cooper did an awesome job ducking and dodging most of what Orgun threw at him. Cooper landed a few shots but nothing big or devastating. He was able to get the takedown and then he started trying to get a part of any limb that Orgun left hanging out. Orgun did a great job defending the submissions and then he was able to hold on to Cooper until the referee stood the fight up. Cooper was able to avoid damage once it went back to the feet and I think he won the round with ease. I gave the round to Cooper scoring it 10-9.

The second round starts with an exchange of failed takedown attempts. Cooper does get a takedown though and he goes right to work looking for a submission. After a few failed attempts Cooper locked on a tight guillotine choke and Orgun was forced to tap out. Cooper gets the win by submission at 2:21 of the second round. ‘

Now that felt like a Honor Fighting Championship event. There was a lot of good fights, and a controversial finish. I hope all of our events from here on out are like this or better. Please join me my next article which will be the preview for Wednesday Warfare.

Diego Nunes wins by unanimous decision.

../gallery/40/40b27.jpg ../gallery/40/40b24.jpg

Well the very first thing that needs to be said is once again amazing poster work by JC Raven. Also In The Red Sportsbook is still hosting our events if anyone is down to make a bet or two please look no further than In The Red Sportsbook. Also Meet the Future is still sponsoring our events so thank you to them, they also sponsor a few of our fighters so please check them out on the high street in Helsinki. We should have another packed house for this event as Oliver Queen will be headlining this event, he had a very short turn around, but with such a short fight he should be ready to go. We will also have the bantamweight title on the line as part of our big double main event this evening. We have eight more awesome fights to complement this event. So let’s take a look at these fights, and I want to hear your own opinions about these fights on our Smack Talk page.

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Timothy "The Assassin" Christopher Iii (2-3) {0-2} versus Derec "The Smile" Negreanu (0-2-1) {0-2}

Terrible combined record of zero wins and four losses combined in Honor Fighting Championship could mean that this will be a make or break fight for both of these guys. Christopher III is an eighteen year old purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu that does have somewhat of a bright future but if he can’t win there is no reason to keep seeing him fight. The future does not look nearly as good for Negreanu. He is a twenty five year old Canadian native who loves to box and he has a good wrestling pedigree. He is also in a great gym and has a great manager, so what’s the problem then? Well he is twenty five while a win or two could keep him around here I do not see this guy blossoming into a champion. With that being said I think the older fighter Derec Negreanu has the win in the bag, and I have him winning a hard fought decision.

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Lightweight Fight (155lbs)

"WEAPON X" Jason Prolight (2-1) {0-1} versus Darek "The Polish Prodigy" Walczak (0-1) {0-1}

Two young guns face off in this lightweight bout. Prolight is just seventeen years old and he already has two professional wins both by submission. This grappling prodigy was defeated in his HFC debut by Junior Flores but Prolight will be looking to make a big rebound in this fight. Darek Walczak could be another prodigy as well. He also lost his HFC debut to Junior Flores but this eighteen year old stud should be able to win this fight if he can keep it standing. Both of these guys futures are bright, but only one of them can start the climb to the top of the one hundred and fifty five pound weight class. I think just do to the manager experience and the gyms these two are fighting out of I will pick Prolight to win by submission in the second round.

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Flash "Light" Gordon (1-2) {0-0} versus Jack "The Tank" Harris (4-2) {2-1}

Gordon won his first professional fight and then decided to try his hand at K1. He lost both fights dropping his record to one and two so he decided to go back to full on MMA. This Muay Thai striker with fight in or out of the clinch but in my opinion he needs to be more aggressive in both spots. Harris is a wrestler who loves the point grappling. He has been very focused and knows how to edge out close rounds with his wrestling. I think Harris will put Gordon on his back, and out pointed him for the entire fight. I have Harris by decision 30-27.

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Peter "Spiderman" Season (1-0) {1-0} versus Andrew "Animal" Todd (1-3) {1-2}

Season won the Knockout of the Night award in his only professional fight. The twenty three year old wrestler knows how to ground and pound and he could be one of the most dangerous men in the light heavyweight division. We will have to see how he fares against a better wrestler in this challenge. Todd got his first win the last time out, and that will certainly increase your confidence. This eighteen year old wrestler will have to stay on top when this fight goes to the ground or it will be all over. So the question for Todd is simple, does he possess the physical ability to be completive in this sport. Since he has such a young age my guess would be not yet, So I am picking Season to win this fight by TKO in the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Lygmantas Daunotas (0-0) {0-0} versus Lotas Mauras (2-1) {1-1}

Daunotas is an eighteen year old Muay Thai striker and wrestler who will be making his professional debut. Since we have no tape on him I will only be able to guess that he is a clinch fighter. I would assume he will want to get this fight to the inside where he can work elbows and knees. Mauras is also a Muay Thai fighter but he would prefer to stay on the outside more. Lotas has good kicks as well as punchers so he should mix up his strikes well to through off the very green fighter. I am going way out on a limb, but I think that Daunotas wins this fight by TKO in the third round.

Main Card Bout Number 1- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

Robert "Chop" Decker (1-1) {0-1} versus Jonathan "Beast" Vinyard (2-3) {1-2}

Decker is a wrestler who has won and lost in early in each of his fights. Both of his fights ended by submission in less than two minutes so that means Decker will be looking to take this fight down early. Once on the ground I assume he will swarm with submissions but that very well could be his worst idea. Vinyard is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and both of his wins came by submission. Vinyard will also be looking to go to the ground and I don’t think he will care if he is on his back or not. Once this fight goes to the ground I think Vinyard quickly ends the fight. I got Vinyard winning by submission in the early part of round number one.

Main Card Bout Number 2- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

Cap Roundtree (6-2) {1-0} versus Duke Ellington (14-9) {1-0}

This is the second middleweight fight in a row and we have another one coming right up after. These three fights will leave there mark on rankings for the middleweights I am sure. Roundtree is a wrestler who has six wins and two losses, in his six wins he has gotten the win by (T)KO. He likes to move in and out of the clinch and throw a lot of kicks mixed with punches while at range which makes him a very dangerous fighter. His ability to mix his attack up so well could have Ellington backpedaling for most of the fight. Ellington has got his career back on the right track as he was won his last two fights. That brings his record up to fourteen and nine with most of his wins coming by knockout. This boxer also has a lot of Muay Thai training to blend well with the boxing so he should also be mixing it up very well. This fight should take place mostly at range with the two fighters looking for the first opening to knock the other out. I think Duke Ellington is going to pull this one out with a knockout in the early part of round number 1.

Main Card Bout Number 3- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

"The Muharib" Mohamed al Hadj (21-12) {0-0} versus "Al Capone" Vanden Plas (16-9) {0-0}

This will be the last middleweight fight on the card and we saved the best for last. This should be an amazing stand up bout between to world class strikers. Both of these guys have extensive back rounds in Boxing and Muay Thai. Even though Hadj has had extensive training in to amazing striking arts he is just not a finisher. Most of his wins have come by decision as he only has eight knockouts. The real power in this fight comes from Plas who has finished thirteen fighters by technical knockout or just by knockout. I think the power advantage could set a tone in this fight that make Hadj try to wrestle and if that happens I think he will win, but honestly I don’t see it and I think Plas wins by knockout in the second round.

Co Main Event Main Card Bout Number 4- Bantamweight Title Fight (135lbs)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/31/31w37.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/10/10w12.jpg

Ethan "Captain Insaneo" Harris (8-2-1) {3-0-0} versus Takeshi Watanabe (7-4) {0-0}

Harris has been making light work of the bantamweights here in Honor Fighting Championship. Harris is a Muay Thai striker and he loves to go to work with elbows. In his decision win of Douglas in his last title defense we seen him throw over one hundred elbows throughout the fight. He will not have such an easy time in this fight and he should look to mix up his offence a little better. Watanabe will be looking to stay at range in this fight. He has the better rounded stand up and he should be able to pick Harris a part as Harris goes for the clinch. I think a few well timed jabs and a well-placed head kick and Watanabe walks out of here as the new bantamweight champion. I am going to go with Watanabe just on a pure gut feeling. I think he gets a TKO in the third round or maybe even the fourth.

Main Even Main Card Bout Number 5- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Roy "The Wardog" Pitbull (20-12-1) {0-0} versus "THE KING" Oliver Queen (18-13) {1-0}

Pitbull is proud of the fact that he has never been finished in a fight, and that is something to be proud of. He currently has twelve losses and all twelve came at the end of the last round via decision. He should be happy to strike with Queen but if anything gets dicey he should take it to the mat since he is the better grappler. Queen will be giving up a slight advantage on the ground so he will need to make that up with his stand up. He should somewhat be able to do this seeing as he has eleven wins by knockout and that includes his Honor Fighting Championship debut. I don’t think Queen will be the first guy to finish Pitbull so he will need to very smart while still being aggressive enough to pick up the important striking points. I think this fight does go to the judges and I think Pitbull will pull it out.

As you all can see this is a very interesting event and I am sure everyone will want to see the aftermath of the middleweight division when this one is over. Lots of exciting fights going down and you will not want to miss this event. I will hopefully see you there.

Co Main Event Main Card Bout Number 4- Bantamweight Title Fight (135lbs)

../gallery/31/31w37.jpg ../gallery/10/10w12.jpg

Ethan "Captain Insaneo" Harris (8-2-1) {3-0-0} versus Takeshi Watanabe (7-4) {0-0}

Roy "The Wardog" Pitbull (20-12-1) {0-0} versus "THE KING" Oliver Queen (18-13) {1-0}

We had a terrific Wednesday Warfare because it was action packed. Out of the ten fights we had seven finishes and only one of those was a submission. We had three big knock outs and a few decisions that where still amazing fights. It seemed the whole night everyone just kicked it into gear, as we sold out The Underground packing in a thousand people. I was a little broke this week so I was unable to place bets, but let’s see if I would have been a winner this week.

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Derec "The Smile" Negreanu defeats Timothy "The Assassin" Christopher Iii

Alright I started off the night getting a correct prediction. I called the Canadian to win, but I am a little embarrassed since I thought it would go to decision. I thought to myself this is one of those fights where it seems nobody was getting finished rather someone was dominating or not. A jab and then an overhand right put Christopher the III to the ground, and then Negreanu jumped on top and got the referee stoppage at :05 seconds of the first round. I got the fighter correct but I was off on the time by almost fifth teen minutes.

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Lightweight Fight (155lbs)

Darek "The Polish Prodigy" Walczak defeats "WEAPON X" Jason Prolight

From so close to so far away, I did not get the round, method, or fighter in the one correct. I had said Prolight should win with a submission in the second round. Well the fight ended in the first round not the second, it was by knockout and not submission, and yep you guessed it Walczak defeated Prolight. Prolight got the early takedown but Darek was able to control long enough for a standup from the referee. After the standup it was all The Polish Prodigy’s fight, as he was stopping takedowns from double legs, and clinch takedowns. In the meantime he was just all over Prolight with kicks, knees, elbows and fists. Walczak got the big win after a massive knee put Prolight out of it at 3:18 of the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Flash "Light" Gordon defeats Jack "The Tank" Harris

Gordon came looking to take Harris’s head off. Right from the opening buzzer Gordon was on him in and out of the clinch. Gordon early in the round land a flush shot and Harris hit the deck, but he did a nice job covering up and preventing the stoppage, plus putting the fight where he wants it. Gordon on top though just stalled after Harris had recovered so we got a referee standup. As soon as Gordon could get his hands on Harris off the standup he took it. The clinch seemed like too much work trying to stop the takedown so Gordon broke the clinch loaded up and kicked Harris right in the head knocking him flat out at 1:57 of the first round. That is another win for me going up to two and one for the night, but I just can’t seem to get the finish or round correct.

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Andrew "Animal" Todd defeats Peter "Spiderman" Season

I thought this was going to be a real short fight and I also thought Season was going to dominate. The first round Todd got a few takedowns and on the ground he worked striking as well as making some nice transitions but I did not think Season was in any trouble during the round. That round was easily won by Todd 10-9 all the way around.

Todd dominated round two just as much if not more. He landed more punches and just executed a wonderful game plan. All three judges scored the round 10-8 and I can agree with that. Todd do some laying around on the ground and got stood up once, but Season did nothing.

Round three Season was a little more active off his back in the prior rounds, but nothing spectacular. Season was able to force two refree stand ups and he attempted a submission but still he was taken down twice. The clear winner of this round was the same as the last, 10-9 for Todd giving him the unanimous decision win, 30-26 on all three judges scorecards. Well maybe I am just lucky not being able to gamble this week, two and two is not a good start to the night.

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Lygmantas Daunotas defeats Lotas Mauras

Wow! Daunotas is a beast! Opens the fight up with a massive head kick cut and dropping Mauras and when Mauras stood up he was just drove into the ground with a huge takedown from Daunotas. Daunotas smelled blood in the water and he was looking for a submission of any kind, and once he couldn’t get one he took full mount. From there he just started driving punches into Mauras’s head and we got the stoppage at 4:55 of the first round. The violent one Lygmantas Daunotas is for real, and I cannot wait to see him in action again.

Main Card Bout Number 1- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

Jonathan "Beast" Vinyard defeats Robert "Chop" Decker

I pretty much nailed this one, got almost every detail correct. Decker went for the early takedown and got it. Decker then went for the submission and Vinyard escaped in side control. From there both fighter continued to look for submissions but Vinayard maintained the dominance in the fight. Vinyard got the submission when Decker tapped out to a Kimura at 3:25 of the first round.

Main Card Bout Number 2- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

Duke Ellington defeats Cap Roundtree

This went the way I thought it would, except Roundtree put up a much better fight then I thought he could. I just felt that Ellington was head and shoulders better at everything that I honestly thought Roundtree would lose in the opening seconds. Roundtree impressed me with his heart and chin in this fight as he was clearly out classed. Ellington picked Roundtree apart landing almost seventy strikes before the big TKO. For Roundtree to take that much punishment and then come back for more shocked me. Roundtree is sure to have a bright future if he can improve his striking skills, and start working on a decent ground game. The tools are there for him to have a great career. Ellington continued down redemption road though as he got a TKO win at 3:45 of the third round.

Main Card Bout Number 3- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

"The Muharib" Mohamed al Hadj defeats "Al Capone" Vanden Plas

Wow now this was a great fight. Two strikers went toe to toe for over ten minutes. Hadj completely destroyed Plas in the first round, as he outclassed him in with punches and kicks. Hadj was dodging and ducking most of what Plas had to offer. Hadj was able to cut Plas in this round as he clearly won it. The second round was not to much different as Hadj poured on the strikes. Plas did manage to land a bit more in the second but nothing earth shattering. The third round was crazy. Plas came out crazy in the third round and he landed a big kick cutting Hadj. Mohamed al Hadj instantly started firing back with everything he had. A few seconds later Plas was dropped with a burtal right hand that knocked him flat out. Hadj wins by knockout at 1:21 of the first round.

Ethan "Captain Insaneo" Harris defeats Takeshi Watanabe

I don’t even know what to say about this fight. How was this the fight of the night? This could have been the most boring fight ever seen, hundred percent match raiting my ass. Harris retained the title in a five round decision where he landed twenty five elbows from the clinch out of one hundred and ten, and he scored a single take down. The twenty five minutes of the fight for Watanabe was worse. This guy landed seven combos out of eighty something attempts and he was three of six from inside the clinch with punches. This was honestly boring to watch, Harris retains the title as stated in a five round decision.

Main Even Main Card Bout Number 5- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

(I may not use this image extension) http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/9/9w12.jpg

Roy "The Wardog" Pitbull defeats "THE KING" Oliver Queen

I had a feeling that these two would go to decision and Pitbull would win, though I did think this was going to be a strike fest. That was clearly not the case as Pitbull took the fight to the mat early and the two exchanged submission attempts. Queen tried for eight but they were easily defended and the round goes to Pitbull. Round two was pretty much the same except the two both tried four submissions after the takedown and once again nobody could finish. Round two goes to Pitbull and round three will have to as well. Pitbull scored two takedowns and both fighter went for two submissions each. Pitbull maintained the dominance throughout the entire fight. I gave all three rounds to Pitbull and so did all three judges. Pitbul wins by unanimous decision 30-27 on all three cards.

Well I am certainly happy I didn’t have the cash to gamble this week. Going six and four I would have lost money more than likely. Tomorrow I will have your next preview and I am dropping some cash on this one, so get your paychecks ready guys.

Do you think owning and operating an organization is an easy thing? I don’t and I think everyone should applaud Mr. Monk for doing such a fantastic job. A few events back Bobby Shamrock earned his title shot in a main event that he was headlining over two title fights. The reason is simple it comes down to popularity of the fighters in each match. Shamrock was one of our most popular fighters we had signed, and now he is in the three whole for his title fight. Mr. Monk has been working feverishly to bring in the best fighters from around the world and he is doing a wonderful job. With that being said let me thank the sponsors and then we can dive into these fights. Meet the Future we owe a big thanks to for sponsoring our fighters and events. Also we need to thank In The Red Sportsbook for giving odds on all of our fights.

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Josh Dominguez (13-16-1) {0-3-0} versus Brian "Cold Bloded" Fury (2-3) {1-2}

Both of these fighters are looking to get out of their losing slumps. Dominguez is on a three fight losing streak that started with his debut to HFC. The twenty eight year old boxer and wrestler will be looking to get his first win in HFC by using his wrestling. He is going to need to get the fight down to the ground in order to secure a victory. Fury is on a two fight losing streak but he did win his debut. This could be the turnaround point of his career if he can secure a win. He is overmatched on the ground but the fight is even in the standup so that is where Fury will want to keep it. If Fury can get the clinch he will be in good shape. I think Fury will edge this one out with a TKO in the third round.

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

James "The Snake" Chaney (13-13) {0-1} versus Jonathan "The Demon" Ortiz (2-0) {0-0}

Chaney is a craft twenty six fight veteran. He will be looking to get the fight to the ground where he can look for a quick submission. Eleven of his thirteen wins have come by way of submission so he has proven he is dangerous on the ground. Lately Chaney has been on a downward spiral losing five of his last six fights and he was finished in four of those losses. Ortiz is a better wrestler and he has the much better stand up. I think he will be able to keep the fight standing for the most part and from there he will dominate Chaney. I got the young Ortiz winning this fight by TKO in the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

Bruce Lee (3-2) {2-2} versus Sun "Kakarot" Wukong (4-1) {2-2}

This is a classic striker versus grappler match up. Lee is the striker as he is trained in boxing and Muay Thai. All three of Lee’s wins have been by TKO or KO so we know his hands and feet are dangerous. Lee is currently riding a two fight win streak and if this fight stays standing he will be on a three fight win streak. Wukong is also on a two fight win streak and he also has three wins by TKO. His TKO’s have come much different than Lee’s as Sun is a ground and pounder. I think Wukong will get the takedown and be able to pound out Lee in the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Greg Roddy (2-2) {2-1} versus Larry "The Time Bomb" Tanaka (5-5) {1-0}

Both of these guys are on two fight win streaks and neither one of them will want to give that up. Roddy has won his last two fights with knockouts via punch so it’s clear Roddy has power. Tanaka also has power and he displayed it in his last fight with a knockout win of his own. This will be a standup knockem down drag out type of brawl and I don’t see any time being spent on the ground. Tanaka is a well-rounded striker while Roddy is just a boxer. I think Roddy will be able to out strike Tanaka in this one, so I am picking Roddy to win by knockout in the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

"Wrecked" Stew Sauced (4-1) {2-0} versus "The Real O.G." Ragnar Lothbrok (1-0) {1-0}

This is the fight I am looking most forward to on the event. I think both of these guys are up and comers in the light heavyweight division. Both of these guys are very talented strikers, and both of them have a ground game to go with. Sauced does have the advantage on the ground but it is not much. It would be hard to say who has the better striking but these to should be more than happy to stand in the pocket and trade shots. Sauced is a better puncher so if Sauced gets to the inside he will wreck Lothbrok, but The Real O. G. has already displayed his amazing kicks and that should give him a slight advantage. I am going to pick Regnar Lothbrok to win this very close fight, and I got him winning by head kick in the second round.

Main Card Bout Number 1- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Austin "Hollywood" Worner (18-17) {2-1} versus Dallas "Haneous" Riley (28-22) {2-1}

Wow seventy five fights have been racked up between these two warriors. The thirty year old Worner won his last two fights here in HFC but for him to win this one he will need to change up his game plan a little bit. I think Worner should try to keep it standing a little bit more and then work some ground and pound when the fight goes to the mat. Riley has had fifty fights in his career and a majority of his wins have come by submission. Worner is great on the ground as well, and I think Riley will have some trouble with him. I think Worner is going to win this fight by decision because I don’t think either one of these fighters can finish the other.

Main Card Bout Number 2- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Mari "Smoke" Juana (8-3) {1-0} versus Cullen Bohannan (2-1) {2-1}

Juana’s strength is his ground game, as he is a great wrestler and he holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He has five wins by submission so far in his career. He will need to out wrestle Bohannan who is also a great wrestler and try to get this fight to the ground. Someone with better Jiu Jitsu I would normally say is fine on the bottom but I don’t think Juana wants to be under Bohannan so he will need to stay away from trying to pull guard. Cullen does have that great wrestling background but he has great stand up. I feel if Bohannan can keep this fight standing Juana will knocked out in the first round. That is exactly what I think happens as well. I am going to say Bohannan counters a takedown attempt with a big head kick and wins in the first round.

Main Card Number 3- Welterweight Title Fight (170lbs)http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20140125174553Honorbelt.jpg

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/23/23w3.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/30/30w17.jpg

Rock "Taijutsu" Lee (5-1) {4-1} versus Bobby "The Next Big Thing" Shamrock (6-1) {2-0}

A month ago this would have been one of if not the biggest fight in Honor Fighting Championship and now its third from the top. That just shows you how deeper and how much better each and every division is getting here. The champ has won his last four fights and all of those have been under the HFC banner. I don’t think that Lee has ever faced anyone as good as Shamrock so it’s going to take a lot more to win this fight other than riding high with confidence. Lee will need to come out with an amazing game plan because I think Shamrock is better in every aspect of the fight game. I think Shamrock is the better striker and we all know he is the better grappler. I got Shamrock winning this fight in the second round by TKO to become the new Honor Fighting Championship Welterweight Champion.

Co Main Event Main Card Fight Number 4- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40w4.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/36/36b26.jpg

"The Bay Harbour Butcher" Dexter Morgan (10-5) {0-0} versus Erick Rootmans (8-3) {0-0}

This will be the debuting fight for both of these guys in Honor Fighting Championship. Both of these guys are coming in with a little hype behind them. Morgan is a top notch wrestler that loves the ground and pound. He also has a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu so he has a backup if he cannot get any good strikes in. Rootmans is not a horrible grappler but he will be at a major disadvantage on the ground. Standing up is a whole other story though. Erick is a phenomenal striker who is well trained in Muay Thai and boxing. In or out of the clinch, punches or kicks Rootmans just does it better than Morgan. I think Morgan will get the fight to the ground but I think we get a good look at Rootmans heart and he comes back to knockout Morgan in the third round.

Main Event Main Card Number 5- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40w40.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/23/23b17.jpg

"Pretty Pete" Peter Parker (23-11) {0-0} versus "The Assassin Reborn" Darwin France (20-5) {0-0}

Two more new faces to HFC and they are both in the ever growing stronger featherweight division. Parker is the best striker in this fight and he should try to keep this fight standing. If this does stay standing he should be able to pick apart France with ease. France is a clear cut submission fighter and his record proves it. Twenty wins with fifth teen of them coming by submission and five losses with zero of them coming by submission. This black belt will need to take Parker down early and often if he wants to have a chance to win. If France does get Parker down I don’t think he will be able to submit his, so I think late in the second round after a stand up Parker will get the knockout win.

We are going to blow the roof off Hayashi's Lounge in downtown Los Vegas. This entire event is loaded up from top to bottom, but these last three fights are sick and could main event most other events by them self. I can’t wait to see what happens tonight and I would like to say good luck to all of the competitors. I will see you tonight at the fights!

Josh Dominguez (13-16-1) {0-3-0} versus Brian "Cold Bloded" Fury (2-3) {1-2}

James "The Snake" Chaney (13-13) {0-1} versus Jonathan "The Demon" Ortiz (2-0) {0-0}

Bruce Lee (3-2) {2-2} versus Sun "Kakarot" Wukong (4-1) {2-2}

Greg Roddy (2-2) {2-1} versus Larry "The Time Bomb" Tanaka (5-5) {1-0}

"Wrecked" Stew Sauced (4-1) {2-0} versus "The Real O.G." Ragnar Lothbrok (1-0) {1-0}

Austin "Hollywood" Worner (18-17) {2-1} versus Dallas "Haneous" Riley (28-22) {2-1}

Mari "Smoke" Juana (8-3) {1-0} versus Cullen Bohannan (2-1) {2-1}

Main Card Number 3- Welterweight Title Fight (170lbs)../images/belt/20140125174553Honorbelt.jpg

../gallery/23/23w3.jpg ../gallery/30/30w17.jpg

Rock "Taijutsu" Lee (5-1) {4-1} versus Bobby "The Next Big Thing" Shamrock (6-1) {2-0}

Co Main Event Main Card Fight Number 4- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

../gallery/40/40w4.jpg ../gallery/36/36b26.jpg

"The Bay Harbour Butcher" Dexter Morgan (10-5) {0-0} versus Erick Rootmans (8-3) {0-0}

Main Event Main Card Number 5- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

../gallery/40/40w40.jpg ../gallery/23/23b17.jpg

"Pretty Pete" Peter Parker (23-11) {0-0} versus "The Assassin Reborn" Darwin France (20-5) {0-0}

Hello ladies and gentlemen I’m Dale McCann. On tonight’s episode of MEET THE MAN we have an interview with Sun "Kakarot" Wukong from HONOR FC,

DM- Hey sun how you doing? Did you find the studio ok?

SW- Well Frank, I use my Garmin Nuvi 3597 LMTHD whenever I travel to places I've never been so I never have any problems getting anywhere.

Q. Yeah that’s some top of the range equipment you have there i have one myself. Let’s get down to business then. First question. How are you finding it in HONOR FC? Have they treated you well?

A. The HFC has been nothing but good to me, I always receive clean and fair fights. I'm shown respect and give respect where/when it is deserved.

Q. Yeah it seems like a really well run business Dan has over there. What do you think of you next opponent? And care to make a prediction?

A. Isaiah Ferguson is just another stepping stone in my career with the HFC Frank. I'll either pound him out or soften him up with a few strikes and make him tap with a well placed submission in the second round.

Q. Seems like you have a few options of the way you will take the fight its always good to have a plan A and B just in case. What's your favourite move in MMA? A certain punch or sub? And why is it your favourite?

A. I'd either say an elbow to the face from mount or a kimura. I enjoy splitting heads and seeing my opponent bleed it gets me excited and I got my first submission victory by way of Kimura so it has some sentimental value to me.

Q. Haha suppose as a fighter you need a bit of a nasty side to you bit if a mean streak. Tell us some stuff about your life outside of MMA?

A. I have no life outside of MMA. I eat, sleep, train, conquer and eventually spend some extra cash on some top notch hookers.

DM- Wow a bit too much information haha but suppose we all need a release especially when you don’t get a brake maybe you should take a holiday after your next win haha. I’m sure you will be due a new contract soon and with a 5-1-0 record im sure Dan will leave no stone unturned to re sign you. Thank you for popping in for a quick chat good luck in your next fight and hope to see you in a title fight soon.

SW- No problem at all Dale was nice and yeah the title will be mine haha see you around.

DM- No worry’s mate, see you soon. That concludes today’s episode of MEET THE MAN. Remember to tune in fight fans for weekly interviews with the sport’s top fighters and mangers.

We had a big turnout for HFC 6 Redemption selling Hayashi's Lounge. We lined up a great night of fights for you including a big time title fight. Once again I have been doing little to no gambling because I am broke since the cost of my gym just keeps rising. That might be a real good thing for me since I don’t think I did that well but we will see.

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Brian "Cold Bloded" Fury defeats Josh Dominguez

I had a feeling that this would go three rounds, but I did think Fury would have been able to finish the fight. I had him picked to win by TKO in the third but he settled for a unanimous decision victory. This was a a boring fight to be honest as the two fighters landed less than twenty five strikes combined in the fifth teen minutes. I thought Dominguez was going to finish Fury in the second but Fury was able to survive. In the first and third round Fury was able to control the clinch for most of those two rounds which is why he won, but honestly he did little to no damage landing under twenty percent of his strikes. Brian Fury wins by unanimous decision, all three judges scored the fight 29-28.

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Jonathan "The Demon" Ortiz defeats James "The Snake" Chaney

Ortiz is not the most skilled striker at welterweight but I figured he could have at least finished this fight. Chaney is a crafty veteran was able to avoid the big knock out in the fight. Ortiz landed at an extremely high percentage throughout the entire fight. Do to Ortiz landing at a high rate added in with him stuffing thirty five takedown attempts I am sure you all know who won this fight. Ortiz was declared the winner by unanimous decision winning all three rounds on all three judges score cards.

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

Sun "Kakarot" Wukong defeats Bruce Lee

This fight went exactly how I thought it would. Lee was destroying Wukong in the striking department, and he was doing a good job of countering the takedowns. Wukong did eventually get that takedown after failing the first eight times. Once on the ground in turned it to a totally different fight as Wukong went from getting pulverized to dominating the fight. He was aggressively striking and constantly trying to improve his position as Lee was unable to do anything about it. Even though Wukong was not landing strikes at a high percentage he certainly only needed one attempt at a submission and he locked on a Kimura to get the submission win at 3:58 of the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Greg Roddy defeats Larry "The Time Bomb" Tanaka

Roddy was very impressive showing off his striking skills. He was able to avoid, slip, block, or counter most of what Tanaka threw at him. On top of that Roddy also landed almost seventy percent of his strikes. A big counter punch is what put Tanaka on wobbly legs and then a massive uppercut ended the fight as Tanaka was on Dream Street. Roddy wins with a first round knockout by punch at 4:30.

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

"Wrecked" Stew Sauced defeats "The Real O.G." Ragnar Lothbrok

Sauced was the more aggressive fighter in rounds two and three, but the first round was all Lothbrok. He missed a lot of combos early but he was landing with punches and kicks. He even cut Sauced open near the end of the first round. After the round ended it was all Sauced from there on out. Sauced landed some good strikes in the second but I really felt that he dominated the round by slipping and dodging Lothbrok’s strikes. Sauced came out and just rocked Ragnar in the opening seconds of round three. It seemed as though Lothbrok never recovered because his strikes where sloppy and slow. Sauced finally cornered him and opened up against the cage causing the referee stoppage. Stew Sauced is your winner by TKO at 1:51 of the third round.

Main Card Bout Number 1- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Dallas "Haneous" Riley defeats Austin "Hollywood" Worner

I am not sure that could be any more wrong about a fight. I predicted Worner would win and Riley proved me wrong. I said it would got to decision and it didn’t. I also said that these fighters could not submit each other and oh how I was wrong. Riley seemed to have a great game plan going into this fight. He would get a take down and if it things didn’t feel right on the ground he would simply stand up. It was scoring him crazy amounts of points if the fight would have gone to the judges and it limited Worner’s ground game. Riley was eight for eight in takedowns and Worner was only one for eleven. It was that one takedown that Worner got that ended the fight as Riley put on the triangle armbar from the bottom. Riley wins via submission at 4:32 of round number three.

Main Card Bout Number 2- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Mari "Smoke" Juana defeats Cullen Bohannan

Well this was one of the bloodiest fights I have ever seen. Also we got a whole lot of me being wrong. I said Juana should stay away from pulling guard but that was exactly what he did. After pulling guard Juana was able to sweep and take the dominate position. From there he just pounded away at Bohannan which busted Cullen up and he was bleeding like a pig. Juana did try to finish by submission more than once but you have to love Bohannan’s heart as he was able to defend the submissions even though he was wearing a crimson mask. At 4:25 in the first round we had the fight stopped so the doctor could take a look at Cullen Bohannan’s face. He had a few cuts and one was a massive one right over his eye, so the doctor was forced to stop. Juana wins via TKO doctor stoppage (cut).

Main Card Number 3- Welterweight Title Fight (170lbs)http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20140125174553Honorbelt.jpg

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/23/23w3.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/30/30w17.jpg

Rock "Taijutsu" Lee defeats Bobby "The Next Big Thing" Shamrock

Shamrock had this fight all but won in the first round. He knocked Lee down and had his legs looking like Jello for a while. Shamrock was more aggressive in the first round than Lee and even though he dominated the round he really needs to work on the accuracy part of his striking. When the second round started you could just tell that Lee had Shamrock timed. Bobby was just as aggressive but Lee was crushing him with counter punches. Lee just simply outclassed Shamrock in the second, but I never thought Shamrock was in danger of losing the fight. After two rounds I have the fight scored one round to one round. It got ugly in the third round as Lee started countering everything Shamrock offered. He wobbled Shamrock around the one minute mark and he must have smelled blood in the water because he started throwing hard punches. Lee knocked down the challenger around the two minute mark and then dove on top of him and started striking. The fight is officially stopped at 2:19 of the third round and the winner by TKO stoppage and still champion Rock Lee.

Co Main Event Main Card Fight Number 4- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40w4.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/36/36b26.jpg

"The Bay Harbour Butcher" Dexter Morgan defeats Erick Rootmans

This was my fifth wrong prediction on the event and my fifth in a row. I was looking for Rootmans heart but I think we found Morgan’s. The first round was dominated by Morgan as he landed two big take downs. Morgan was very careful on top maybe to careful as there was a referee stand up but Morgan took it right back to the ground. This was a clear cut round for Morgan. It’s all Rootmans to start the second round. He locked up with Morgan in the clinch and laid down a heavy knee splitting Dexter open. Morgan came right back with trip and a Kimora attempt. From half guard Dexter Morgan submits Erick Rootmans with a Kimura at :58 of the second round.

Main Event Main Card Number 5- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/40/40w40.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/23/23b17.jpg

"Pretty Pete" Peter Parker defeats "The Assassin Reborn" Darwin France

This was certainly a one sided affair. Parker just bashed France’s face and body for the entire twelve minutes and forty four seconds of this fight. The first round highlights were awesome. Parker dominated in the clinch for pretty much the entire round. At one point I thought Parkers tight clinch was the only thing keeping France on his feet at one point. Parker also busted France’s face up real bad. Round we seen no light at the end of the tunnel for France. Parker got the clinch again and at one point he dropped France with a massive knee. France was so tired from the beating he already received went back to the clinch once he was back on his feet. In round number three Parker was just inflicting more pain on France in and out of the clinch. Parker nailed France with a head kick and then followed it up with punches to get the referee stoppage at 2:44 of the third round.

Wow I am so happy Parker won that fight, nothing against France, but I did predict Parker and he saved my night ending one of my worst predicted cards at five and five. I am broke so I didn’t lose money so there is always that as well. Overall I thought this was just a great event put on by Honor Fighting Championship and their partner Meet the Future we had terrific fights, amazing finishes, and no controversy. A packed house, that’s right another sell out, and a great rating what else could you ask for? Maybe we will get an answer at Wednesday Warfare VI on the 12th of March.

Wednesday Warfare VI is upon us and I cannot wait for the big main event. The Light Heavyweight Title is on the line tonight along with a few other great fights. As always are event partners are Meet the Future and In The Red Sportsbook. Now let’s dig into Honor Fighting Championships Wednesday Warfare VI.

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Oscralo "Granalo" De Santiuya (5-4) {2-2} versus Bj "The Prodigy" Penn (0-2) {0-1}

Oscralo got off to a hot start in Honor Fighting Championships winning his first two fights. He then lost a title fight against Rock Lee and after that Coonaments was able to avenge his loss to Oscralo. This fight is a chance for him to start climbing back to the top. The reason he will struggle on his way back to the top and in this fight is because he is not great at anything in the MMA world, but he is good at it all. I don’t think you can call yourself a prodigy when your record is o and two and you started MMA at the age of twenty five. Penn would love to prove me wrong, and he will if he can keep this fight standing. If might be tough but that is his only chance to win. Penn is a far better striker than De Santiuya and he will win with ease if it stays standing. I am going to pick Penn to win by TKO late in the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Quagmire "Ohh" Yeah (1-1) {1-0} versus Graeme "Stank" Campbell (4-3) {0-2}

The first and last time we got to see Yeah in action he completely dominated the fight while throwing submission attempt after submission attempt at his opponent. He did eventually get the submission after trying almost thirty times. That tells us two things he is aggressive and persistent. Campbell is also a submission fighter and he currently a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He prefers fighting on the ground and his four wins all by submission state that. Now to go with those four wins he does have three losses and two of those came by submission. Since we know Campbell can be submitted I have to pick Yeah to win this fight by submission in the second round.

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

Corner "Alley Cat" Bum (2-3) {1-3} versus Gustavo Gracie (5-2) {2-0}

We have seen Bum compete on numerous occasions. He has yet to be impressive here in Honor Fighting Championships amassing a one and three record. Bum should struggle in this fight as well, since his main strengths are in wrestling. Bum should think about keep this fight standing if he wants to have a chance. Gracie lost his first two fights of his career and then hasn’t looked back. He is the winner of five straight improving his record to five and two. This nineteen year old Brazilian Jiu Jitsu brown belt has earned every one of his victories by submission so he will want to get this fight to the ground. Even if Bum doesn’t try to bring the fight to the ground I am sure it will end up there. Since I think the fight will end up on the ground I have to pick Gracie to win by submission in the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Reginald Leslie (4-2) {2-1} versus Investitor "Cujo" Gradnje (5-1) {3-1}

Both of these guys are coming off their first HFC loss. They should both be hungry to get the ball rolling again in their favor. Leslie is a wrestler and a Muay Thai striker who loves to strike from the clinch. Once he gets his opponents into the clinch he tries to overwhelm them and I think that is exactly what he will try and do. Gradnje is a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and he has earned it with five submission victories. Gradnje will be looking to get the fight to the ground and he might have to pull guard to do it. If Gradnje can get the fight to the ground then it will be over quickly. I think Leslie will get his shots in especially in the clinch but Gradnje will get the fight to the ground and get a submission win. I think he will get the submission victory in the second round.

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Alex "Almighty" Irwin (2-1) {1-1} versus Vedran Milosevic (2-1) {2-1}

Irwin will have a big advantage when it comes to striking so he should look to keep the fight standing. He is typically a ground and pound guy, but as we seen in his last fight he will have no trouble standing up and striking. He will want to try and stand up with Milosevic as he will have a big advantage. Milosevic is a blue and a great wrestler. Vedran is also a ground and pounder but he is also trained in submissions. He will look for the fight to get to the ground by any means necessary. I think Milosevic will win by submission in the second round but he could get knocked out before that.

Main Card Bout Number 1- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

Steve "Cobra" Cox (3-0) {3-0} versus Gabriel "DaBeast" Douglas (4-2) {3-1}

Cox is a wrestler who knows how to point grapple. He has won all three of his fights by decision as he was able to dominate the fight on the ground. Douglas is also a decision fighter but he likes to go about it differently. He will stand up and box with his opponents and he tries to rack up the points instead of knocking them out. Douglas took his only loss in HFC in his last match which was a title fight. This fight could go either way but if its on the ground I have Cox and if it stays up then Douglas. This has the potential to be the best fight on the card. It’s a tough call to try and pick the winner but I am going with Cox to win.

Main Card Bout Number 2- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Jonathan "The Cheetah" Mvungi (7-5) {0-1} versus Alexi "Angry divorce child" Kint (3-3) {0-0}

Jonathan is an amazing boxer and he is very heavy handed. He has a record of seven wins and five losses but in those seven wins all of them have been by TKO or knockout. Jonathan goes for the gold in all of his fights and that has lead him to five the five losses. None of Jonathan’s fights have ever reached the judges. I don’t think this one will be the first. Kint is three and three with four fights going the distance. In those four fights he is two and two so he will need to learn how to finish. I dpnt think Kint can finish Mvungi so I am picking Jonathan to win by TKO in the second round.

Main Card Bout Number 3- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

"Mangeur de bine" Adelard Desormeaux (14-17) {0-0} versus Nathan "Elbow" Summers (23-16-1) {0-0-0}

Both of these guys are new to HFC but they have both been around for a while. Desormeaux has a fourteen and seventeen record and his wins are all over the place. He has yet to string more than two wins together and he has five wins by knockout four by submission and five by decision. He will want to take this fight to the ground and make Summer fight his kind of fight. Summer has ran into a major funk as he is just two and seven over his last nine. He is also riding a four fight losing streak with no end in sight. He could end the streak here but I think Desormeaux gets the fight to the ground and wins by decision.

Co Main Event Main Card Bout Number 4- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

Aj Smith (17-15-1) {0-1} versus "Scandinavian Nightmare" Rolad Kjeldsson (11-5) {0-1}

Smith lost his debut in HFC losing to Albert Anastasia in the first round by knockout. That ended his nine win streak and what had been the best part of his career. He is looking to get back on track with this fight but I don’t see how he could. Out of his seventeen wins he has fifth teen wins by submission. It is important that Smith does battle on the ground and that could be a real bad thing. Roland is a brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu just like Smith. With that being said Roland is a beter wrestler and striker as well. Roland who is currently on a three fight win streak is also a better striker than Smith so he will also have the advantage in the stand up. Since both of these guys are so skilled I think it will go to decision, and I got Roland Kjeldsson winning unanimously.

Diego Russell (9-4-1) {2-0-1} versus "The Viking" Agnar Gorm (7-2) {2-2}

Russell has been great since arriving at Honor Fighting Championship. He won the title after a rematch of a draw. Russell has used his wrestling to get the wins he needs and he will need to use it again. Russell will need to take this fight to the ground o have any chance of winning. Gorm is not known for being a striker but he is a lot better striker than Russell. Gorm usually prefers the ground game, but he has such an advantage in the standup I would keep the fight there as much as possible. It would appear that these two are equal on the ground and Gorm has the advantage in the standup so it would seem he had an advantage. Personally I think Russell will defend successfully and get the win by TKO in the second round.

Alright folks I am not going to lie to you, I liked the event. I didn’t love it and I certainly didn’t hate it. I love finishes as much as the next guy, and when someone tells me yeah man there was eight finish on the card I get excited to see it. The thing that is bringing the card down for me is number one a draw because you have to hate a draw. Number two the title fight I was not a big fan of. We will get to it later on in the review and it did win fight of the night honors but….. well we will talk about that later.

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Oscralo "Granalo" De Santiuya defeats Bj "The Prodigy" Penn

Well I was certainly wrong on this one. I though Penn would have used his striking to over whelm De Santiuya. When in fact De Santiuya took the advantage with early takedowns. Oscralo put Penn on his back twice and let him get up both times. He then pulled guard to get the fight to the ground for a third time. De Santiuya submitted Penn at 3:20 of the first round via Guillotine. All the takedowns limited Penn to landing only a body kick and a punch to the body as everything else was all Oscralo De Santiuya.

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Quagmire "Ohh" Yeah defeats Graeme "Stank" Campbell

Well this ended earlier than I thought but it happened the way I thought it would. Yeah got a big takedown early but Campbell attempted the first submission. Campbell was very active on the ground landing some strikes and constantly shifting positions. That didn’t stop Yeah from going for the throat attempting a lot of submissions. The fifth one was a charm as Yeah gets the submission win at 2:55 of round number one.

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

Gustavo Gracie defeats Corner "Alley Cat" Bum

I said Bum did not want to go to the ground with Gracie. I said he should think about keeping it standing. Bum dominated this fight when it was standing. He landed five out of six kicks, four where aimed at the head and he landed three of those. He also stuffed a takedown so why did he not win this fight? Well he was two for two on takedown attempts. On the ground Bum was unsuccessful with three submission attempts but he did get in some ground and pound. That was all before Gracie attempted his first and only submission as Bum tapped out at 2:55 of the first round via Guillotine.

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Investitor "Cujo" Gradnje defeats Reginald Leslie

I did not get the round correct since I thought Leslie could survive until the second round. Gradnje did not want to even give him the chance. Investitor took Leslie down from inside the clinch by pulling guard. From there it was submission attempt after submission attempt from the bottom. On the tenth try Gradnje was able to pull out a nice armbar from a defended triangle choke and forced Leslie to tap out. Gradnje gets the win at 3:32 of the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Vedran Milosevic defeats Alex "Almighty" Irwin

Wow this didn’t last very long. Irwin countered a takedown attempt from Vedran with a takedown of his own. Milosevic working from the bottom locked on an armbar. At :24 seconds of the first round Milosevic submits Alex Irwin via armbar. Honestly I don’t know what Irwin was thinking going for the take down especially with that much time left in the round.

Main Card Bout Number 1- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

Steve "Cobra" Cox and Gabriel "DaBeast" Douglas draw

Alright I had picked Cox to win this fight and I think he did win this fight. In the first round there was not a ton of action but Cox did score two big takedowns. Douglas defended well from the bottom and I think he did a great job, but Cox still gets the round. I have it 10-9 Cox but the judges have it scored 9-10, 10-10, 10-9 and two of these guys should be fired.

In the second round Douglas came out like a beast. He knocked Cox down but couldn’t finish, and then he took Cox down. Steve was able to draw a referee stand up and shortly after that it was the end of the round. Cox did just enough to not get an eight from me. I scored 10-9 Douglas and for the fight 19-19 going into the third and final round. The judges scored the round for Douglas as well all three of them had it 10-9. The score cards now read 20-18 Douglas, 20-19 Douglas, and 19-19.

Round three starts and both fighters are just missing every strike. Near the two minute mark Cox scored a takedown and went right into finish mode. In the last three minutes of the fight Cox attempted four submissions. Douglas was able to fend them off but this was a clear case of Cox scoring points. I have Cox winning the third round 10-9 so I have Cox winning the fight 29-28. All three judges scored the third round 10-9 for Cox and that’s a big problem. The judges final score cards show 29-28 Douglas 29-29, and 29-28 for Cox making this a draw. One of these judges should be fired and another should go back to the amateurs and practice a while.

Main Card Bout Number 2- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Jonathan "The Cheetah" Mvungi defeats Alexi "Angry divorce child" Kint

This was a pretty one sided affair. Kint landed one punch out of one attempt and missed one kick in one attempt. Mvungi stuffed five of Kint’s takedown attempts. After that it was all Mvungi with punches and combos fist where flying all over the place. A huge uppercut from Mvungi knocked Kint down and then Jonathan jumped on top and got the referee stoppage at 1:47 of the first round. Your winner Jonathan Mvungi via TKO strikes.

Main Card Bout Number 3- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

"Mangeur de bine" Alard Desormeaux defeats Nathan "Elbow" Summers

I would have put good money on the fact this was going to decision. Desormeaux was attempting head kicks among other things while he blocked or avoided most of what Summers threw. Mangeur finally landed one of those head kicks and Summers was out, but the referee didn’t think so. Desormeaux hit a big punch and then we got the stoppage about twenty seconds to late. Desormeaux wins the fight by TKO at 2:26 of the first round.

Co Main Event Main Card Bout Number 4- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/4/4w9.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/42/42w37.jpg

"Scandinavian Nightmare" Rolad Kjeldsson defeats Aj Smith

The only thing I got correct in this fight was the winner. I thought Kjeldsson would dominate the fight but it would end by decision. First thing I got wrong was the round of the ending. This fight ended early and it was finished by a TKO. Second thing wrong I was the domince of Kjeldsson, he may have won the fight but Smith looked a lot better than I thought he would. Smith got the take down and then he started looking for a finish. In the end Rolad Kjeldsson ended up getting the stoppage at 3:31 of the first round.

Diego Russell defeats "The Viking" Agnar Gorm

The 1st, 2nd, and 4th rounds where all clear cut rounds won for Russell. The 3rd really could have went either way with Grom landing more takedowns but Russell drew two referee stand ups. The 5th round was all Gorm but he could not get the finish when he really needed it. This fight was good, but it was terrible for me. You can make the argument that it was the fight of the night and it did win the award but in twenty five minutes these guys attempted a combined two strikes while standing up. The ground work was better but you would expect more in twenty five minutes. Russell was more active as he was zero for fourteen in submissions and fifth teen for twenty seven on striking. Gorm was zero for one on submission attempts and in the ground striking he was seven of eighteen. Russell ended up with the decision win as all three judges scored the fight 49-46 but I had the fight scored 48-47.

A solid line up of action. I wish I had enough cash to get back to betting. I had eight wins and one loss in my predictions with the one fight being a draw. Maybe I will have enough to put some money down on the next HFC event. I will see you for the HFC 7.

Co Main Event Main Card Bout Number 4- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

../gallery/4/4w9.jpg ../gallery/42/42w37.jpg

Main Event Main Card Bout Number 5- Light Heavyweight Title Fight (205lbs)../images/belt/20140125174553Honorbelt.jpg

../gallery/12/12b13.jpg../gallery/15/15w12.jpg

Diego Russell defeats "The Viking" Agnar Gorm

The 1st, 2nd, and 4th rounds where all clear cut rounds won for Russell. The 3rd really could have went either way with Grom landing more takedowns but Russell drew two referee stand ups. The 5th round was all Gorm but he could not get the finish when he really needed it. This fight was good, but it was terrible for me. You can make the argument that it was the fight of the night and it did win the award but in twenty five minutes these guys attempted a combined two strikes while standing up. We will be holding a big event at The Palmtree on Saturday March 15th. We will have the 155 pound title on the line along with several other big time fights. We have two huge welterweight fights as well as a huge light heavyweight fight. As always In The Red Sportsbook will have all the odds and Meet the Future is sponsoring us.

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

Dalton "Black Killer" Ismith (0-1) {0-0} versus Anderson "Shogun" Christopher (1-3) {0-2}

Ismith will be making his HFC debut brining in a record of o and one. His loss came by submission so he should know he needs to keep this fight standing. He is the far better striker in this match up and he needs to come out and show it. Christopher is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu brown belt who’s only win has come by way of submission. He has been knocked out once and taken to decision twice. He has to know he needs to get this fight to the ground and get the submission. I think Ismith has the ability to knock out Christopher but I think Anderson gets the fight to the ground and wins by submission in the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

Josh "The Chris Bosh" Laston (3-2) {0-0} versus John "Drav" Dravinski (1-2) {0-1}

Well these two fighters are both coming off losses and they will want to turn things around quickly. Laston I think has the better stand up as two of his wins have come by knockout. He will want to keep the fight standing and mix up his strikes well to get to Dravinski. John got his only win by submission and then he dropped his next two fights. I think Laston can keep this fight standing and I am picking him to win this fight by knockout in the second round.

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Freddy Lee (2-3) {1-3} versus Dave "D" Davisdon (4-6) {1-2}

These two light heavyweights have both been in a rut. Lee is on a three fight losing streak and he needs that to come to an end. All three of those losses came by TKO and Davisdon is a submission fighter. That is great news for Lee since he is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Davisdon has yet to win two fights in a row. Things just keep looking down and down for the guy as well. He is a submission fighter getting all four of his wins via submission. The reason things are looking down I don’t think a blue belt can submit a black belt. Dave does have the better stand up so if he trys to keep this as a striking fight I think he could win. For some reason though I think this fight is going to the ground nice and early so I am picking Lee to win by submission in the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

Dario "The Killer" Silva (3-2) {2-2} versus Donovan "Ronin" Robertson (5-1) {2-1}

This is a rematch from Honor FC 2. It was to determine the first ever middleweight champion. Robertson got the win with an armbar in the middle of round number three. Now that Robertson has dropped the title it might be time for Silva to seek a little revenge. Silva was completely dominating this fight when Robertson got the submission to win in the third round. Obviously Robertson has the ability to get the win by submission over Silva, but Silva will dominate any time that the fight is not on the ground. I got a feeling Silva wins this fight in the second round by TKO and then we will get to see a third one.

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Dewayne Bryant (7-5) {3-1} versus Bruce Shashia (5-2) {3-1}

Dewayne Bryant knows how to handle himself on the ground. He has great wrestling to go along with his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. He has seven wins in his career and six of those have come by submission. Is there a down side to Bryant? He has five losses and four of those came by TKO so hopefully he has been working on his striking defense. Shashia has been awesome since coming to HFC. He lost his debut by decision an since he has won three straight fight. Shashia knows how to finish as well winning all three of his HFC fights by TKO. What this fight is going to come down to is simple. Can Bryant get this fight to the ground before he gets knocked out, and I say yes he does. I got Bryant winning this fight by submission in the first round.

Main Card Bout Number 1- Featherweight Fight (135lbs)

"The Magician" Ari Birmiski (24-18) {1-0} versus Ted "Diet" Coke (13-10) {0-1}

This should be one great fight because these two have both been around a while and they both have a great skill set. Birmiski is a black belt who has nine wins by submission and he will be looking to get this fight to the ground. If he can get it down he should have an advantage over the brown belt. Ted Coke has a ground game but he is more of a striker. The majority of Coke’s wins have come by TKO so he will be looking to stand. This should be a highly competitive fight rather it’s on the ground or on the feet. I am going to pick Birmiski to win a very close and hard fought decision.

Main Card Bout Number 2- Lightweight Title Fight (155lbs)http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20140125174553Honorbelt.jpg

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/26/26w17.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/16/16w6.jpg

Julius Caesar (4-0) {2-0} versus Bolius "One round fighter" Kalabokas (4-2) {2-0}

I doubted Caesar in his last fight and I lost some serious money on that fight. He is a striker who has developed a good ground game and he is a bit of a triple threat. Caesar should be able to adjust his game plan to the point he has the advantage but he should not make any adjustments in this one. Kalabokas is a striker who is currently on a four fight win streak and all four of his wins have come by knockout. I honestly think he only has a punchers chance since Caesar is better in the striking department. If this fight ends up on the mat at all Caesar should dominate. While standing up Caesar has the advantage as well, so he should all Bolius to dictate where the fight goes, and he should just take control from there. I got Caesar winning this fight in the second round via knockout.

Main Card Bout Number 3- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

"Veliki" Ljuti Hrcak (12-1) {1-1} versus "GroundnPound" Kevin Coonaments (4-5) {1-3}

Well Hrcak lost his first fight of his career dropping his record to twelve and one. He will be looking to spring back into the winning column in this one. He has better wrestling and Jiu Jitsu so he should look to get this fight to the ground as soon as he can. Out of his twelve wins nine of them have come by submission so he is very comfortable on the mat. Coonaments is a ground and pound fighter who has had a bit of bad luck lately. He was on a five fight losing streak before getting a win in his last fight. Is that the spark he needed or is it just a fluke? I don’t think it was a fluke and I could see Coonaments becoming a good fighter, but I do think the style matchup is a bad one for him. I got Hrcak winning this fight by submission in the first round.

Oberyn "Steel" Martell (11-5) {0-0} versus Taylor "woob woob woob" Clark (26-16-1) {1-1-0}

This should end up being a classic fight. Both of these fighters have been around for a long time. Martell is twenty eight years old and has sixteen fights behind him. He is coming off a loss in his last fight but he will look to make a big rebound for his HFC debut. Nine of his eleven wins have come by knockout as he has proven he is a great striker, so he will be looking to keep this fight standing. Clark is thirty five years old and he has had over forty fights. You cannot buy that kind of experience and he should use that to figure out a way to get this fight to the ground. He should look to out point Martell since I don’t think he can finish him. I think this fight is going the distance and I will pick Clark to win a close one.

Main Event Main Card Bout Number 5- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/19/19w6.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/30/30w38.jpg

"Wittertainment" Mayo Kermode (17-9) {0-0} versus James "Java Man" Avalon (19-9) {0-0}

This will be another fight between to veterans. In this one though both fighter will be making their debuts in HFC. This just shows you the level of commitment that Mr. Monk has to bring HFC to number one. He is out there trying to make the best deals to bring the best fighters that are available to HFC so he can offer the best fights to the fans. This entire card is littered with amazing match ups and this one in no different. Even though it would seem that Avalon is more skilled there are intangibles involved in every sport. Kermode has won thirteen of his fights by way of knockout and in his nine losses he has only been finished three times. Avalon has been knocked out four times and submitted once in his nine losses, while his nineteen wins are split with seven knockouts, six submissions, and six decisions. It would seem Kermode has the better chin and knockout power. For that reason I am going with Mayo Kermode to win this fight by knockout.

We have a lot of new faces to the HFC most of which are established popular fighters and we are showcasing them tonight. This should be an action packed card from top to bottom and I certainly can’t wait. I am most looking forward to the lightweight title fight as I think that is going to be exciting. Thanks for reading and make sure you express your opinions on the smack talk thread.
