Preliminary Bout Number 1- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Bud "King Of Beers" Weiser (3-5) {2-5} versus Lygmantas Daunotas (1-1) {1-1}

Weiser is on a four fight losing streak after starting off his career at three and one. He will be looking to get back on track by winning this fight. He will have a slight advantage on the ground so I think he will need to take this fight to the ground as quickly as possible. Daunotas lost his last fight and he will be looking to rebound. The younger fighter Lygmantas does not have an advantage in the standup but he will have a great advantage in the clinch. He will need to take the fight to the clinch quickly and avoid any sort of takedowns in or out of the clinch.

Prediction: Daunotas wins by TKO in round number 2

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Darc "The Wild One" Von Hayek (1-1) {0-1} versus James "The Snake" Chaney (13-15) {0-3}

Von Hayek is the younger and less experienced fighter in this one. Darc has a big advantage over Chaney in the standup so he should be looking to avoid any sort of takedown. He will need to watch out for a counter takedown as well. Chaney is on a big losing streak and he has yet to win in HFC. To get that first win he will have to find a way to get this fight to the ground. Chaney has a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and that is about all he has, so if the fight does go to the ground he should get the win, but if doesn’t get the fight to the ground he has no shot.

Prediction: Von Hayek wins by TKO in round number 1

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Laz "Flying hollander" Icarus (21-15) {0-3} versus "The Real O.G." Ragnar Lothbrok (2-1) {2-1}

Icarus is o and three in Honor Fighting Champions and he needs a win big time. Most of his losses have come by decision so he has been able to avoid being finished. Speaking of finishes Icarus has fifth teen wins by TKO. Lothbrok has only had three fights in his career and he is currently two and one. He won both fights by TKO and lost his fight by TKO. He will be looking to keep this fight standing so he can use his amazing boxing to his advantage.

Prediction: Icarus wins by TKO in round number 3

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

bj "Boogieman" Ferguson (31-18) {3-3} versus Isaiah "Vanilla Gorilla" Ferguson (7-1) {1-1}

Ferguson is thirty one and eighteen in his career and he is three and three in Honor Fighting Championship. Ferguson will be looking to get the fight to the ground but he will need to be careful to not get submitted since Isaiah is the better Jiu Jitsu fighter. Isaiah also has the advantage in the standup so Isaiah will be happy to standup or go to the ground. This will be tough fight to pick since both fighters are managed by the same manager.

Prediction: Isaiah Ferguson wins by submission in round number 2

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Todd Flanders (17-12-1) {2-2} versus "Pretty Pete" Peter Parker (24-14) {1-3}

This is a rematch in witch Flanders won in their first meeting. Flanders won the fight quickly getting the win in the first round in less than one minute. Flanders will look to overwhelm Parker once again, and Parker will try to just weather the storm. If Parker can get past the first flurry of strikes he will have a great chance to win this fight, but he has struggled with aggressive fighters in the past.

Prediction: Flanders wins by TKO in round number 1

Main Card Bout Number 1- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Rock "Taijutsu" Lee (6-3) {5-3} versus Alex "Almighty" Irwin (4-2) {3-2}

Lee has struggled against the new champion at Welterweight and he will be looking to get some good fights in to improve himself so he can get another shot. The former champion dropped the title to Hrcak and then lost a second bout against him when he was looking to regain the title. Now we will get to see what Lee looks like after taking two losses in a row, and I am sure I wouldn’t want to be standing on the other side of the cage against him right now. Irwin is four and two and he will be looking to jump the ranks by beating a former champion of the division. To do so he will need to take a page out of the book of Hrcak but the real question is can he even come close? I think he can, and this should be a great fight and very competitive.

Prediction: Lee wins by TKO in round number 3

Main Card Bout Number 2- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Rickson Bravo (8-5) {3-1} versus Bobby "The Next Big Thing" Shamrock (6-4) {2-3}

Bravo has won his last three fights after losing his debut to HFC. He won the last two by submission and one by decision giving his a total of seven wins by submission out of eight total wins. Clearly Bravo will be looking to turn this into a ground battle with Shamrock. Bobby is on of my favorites in Honor even with his misfortune as of late. He has lost his last three fights but out of his four losses he has never been submitted. Shamrock is a wrestler and he will want to take Bravo to the ground so this will test his submission defense for sure.

Prediction: Bravo wins by decision after round number 3

Main Card Bout Number 3- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

"THE KING" Oliver Queen (20-14) {3-1} versus "The Assassin Reborn" Darwin France (21-7) {1-2}

This is a funny situation as Queen has a great HFC record and an average overall record while France has a great record but a bad HFC record. Queen was recently dropped by his manager and that could have a huge effect on him, and as of right now he has nobody to work his corner. France might want to play some head games with Queen because of it and mix his attack more than he has in the past since mid-round adjustments are not going to happen.

Prediction: France wins by submission in round number 2

Co Main Event Main Card Bout Number 4- Lightweight Fight (155lbs)

"THE MAGIC MAN" Mustafa Al Turk (31-12-2) {0-1} versus "Flash" Gordon Lefleaur (31-11) {1-0}

This will be a rematch from not too long ago. Both of these fighters last fights where each other and they have decided to hook it up again. Lefleaur won the fight by TKO late in the second round after he dominated in the clinch. Gordon will be looking for the clinch again in this one as Al Turk will need to pull a rabbit out of his hat to win this one.

Prediction: Lefleaur wins by TKO in round number 1

Main Event Main Card Bout Number 5- Welterweight Title Fight (170lbs)

"Veliki" Ljuti Hrcak (15-1) {4-1} versus "The Impaler" Vladimir Ignatov (7-2-1) {3-0}

Hrcak has been a force to be reckoned with in his career. He is not only the welterweight champion in HFC but he is also the holder of a fifth teen and one record. His only loss came against Bobby Shamrock who upset him not to long agao. If Hrcak defends his title and Shamrock gets a win these two could be on a collision course to have another fight, only this time it would be for the title. Ignatov is three and o in Honor and he has a win over Shamrock so it would only make since that he would be next in line. All three of his Honor wins have come by TKO and he will look to add a fourth win to his resume and a Honor Fighting Championship Welterweight Title to it as well. This should be a great back and forth fight and it will be incredibly difficult to pick a winner.

Prediction: Ignatov wins by TKO in round number 3

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Two big title fights coming up on this event which promises to be a great one. This could be one of if not the best lineup of fights that a Wednesday Warfare has had. I am excited to see all the fights that this card has to offer.

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Dallas "Haneous" Riley (29-24) {3-3} versus Jack "The Tank" Harris (4-3) {2-2}

This will be a rematch from a few weeks ago and to be honest I don’t see a different result coming. Riley is young and he has a lot of experience while Harris is close to the same age he doesn’t even have ten fights yet. Harris could surprise me and pull of the upset as his upside is much better than Riley’s. Both of these guys are hungry for a win though and they would love to elevate them self to the next level in Honor Fighting Championship.

Prediction: Riley wins by decision

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Dario "All-in" Sakara (2-1) {1-0} versus Oscralo "Granalo" De Santiuya (7-6) {4-4}

Sakara is one and o in HFC and he is looking to pick up another win in this one. To do so he will need to find a way to get this fight to the ground so he can use his Jiu Jitsu to take over the fight. Dario does have some stand up skill but not a ton. De Santiuya has had a ton of fights thirty for his career and eight fights in Honor. He is four and four in HFC and he has had two title fights at two different weight classes. He has made a return to the Welterweight division and he is looking to get back near the top with a win tonight.

Prediction: Sakara wins by submission in round number 3

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Quagmire "Ohh" Yeah (4-1) {4-0} versus Flash "Light" Gordon (3-3) {2-1}

Yeah has been a force to be reckoned with here in HFC. He has a four and o record in HFC and every one of those wins have come by submission. He will be looking to get this fight to the ground so he can start working his submission attempts and end this one early. Gordon started off hot in HFC winning his first two fights but he was defeated in his last bout. He will now be looking to get back on his winning ways but to do so he will need to keep this fight standing. Gordon does have decent wrestling but this twenty seven year old will struggle wrestling and grappling with Yeah.

Prediction: Yeah wins by submission in round number 2

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

Sun "Kakarot" Wukong (7-3) {5-2} versus Austin "Hollywood" Worner (19-21) {3-5}

Wukong has impressed me more and more with each of his fights. I don’t recall liking him a whole lot when he got here but I now find myself looking forward to his fights. He is taking on a very experienced fighter in this one so he will need more than just skill to win this one, as he will need a great game plan to go with. Worner has had little success and his lack of training is what is holding him back. At this age I wouldn’t suggest going to the top notch gym and working out with coaches but a new gym is needed if he wants to try and grab that ring of success in the twilight of his career.

Prediction: Wukong wins by TKO in round number 2

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Jonathan "The Cheetah" Mvungi (8-6) {1-2} versus Boris JorJovsky (13-6) {0-0}

Mvungi has amazing stand up and decent wrestling but that has not translated into wins for him. He is currently eight and six record and the only way he can improve on that tonight is by keeping this fight standing. JorJovsky is a top notch wrestler and he is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He will look to get this fight to the ground as quickly as possible and if he does he will despose of Mvungi quickly.

Prediction: JorJovsky wins by submission in round number 2

Main Card Bout Number 1- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Jean Descharme (19-9) {1-0} versus "Mangeur de bine" Adelard Desormeaux (17-18) {3-1}

Jean has had one fight in Honor and he got a big win. He can submit you, he can ground and pound you, and he can stand and bang. He prefers to mix his game up but he can go to whatever he has the advantage. Desormeaux is three and one in Honor and it seems that he may have found a home. He is seventeen and eighteen in his career but he has won seventy five percent of his fights in Honor. He will be looking to keep on his winning ways but he is at a great disadvantage in training in this one.

Prediction: Descharme wins by TKO in round 2

Main Card Bout Number 2- Light Heavyweight Title Fight (205lbs)

Drazen Kadoic (27-16) {2-0} versus Mari "Smoke" Juana (10-3) {3-0}

Both of these fighters are undefeated in Honor Fighting Championship. Kadoic is two and o and he got this fight by defeating Bret Riverboat. He is a top notch striker and he will look to keep it standing with his great wrestling. Juana earned this title shot with a three fight winning streak where two fights where won by submissions and one fight by TKO. Juana can do just about everything on the ground but his stand up is not on the same level as Kadoic. Mari has to get this fight to the ground or he will last less than a minute.

Prediction: Kadoic wins by TKO in round number 1

Main Card Bout Number 3 – Middleweight Title Fight (185lbs)

Kshitij Singh Negi (13-4) {3-2} versus Arshnoor "THE BRUTALIZER" Singh (9-2) {4-1}

This should be a great fight between these two. Negi was once managed by the same person who manages Singh now. Negi may have a new manager but his weaknesses should be the same as they are now. Negi will need to show up with some new tricks. Singh will be looking to mix up his kicks and punches to keep Negi off balance. We have seen how dangerous his kicks are and as of lately he has been punching and kicking at a top notch level as well. One thing is known for sure somebody will get knocked out.

Prediction: Singh wins by TKO in round number 2

Co Main Event Main Card Bout Number 4- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

"Wittertainment" Mayo Kermode (19-10) {2-1} versus Roope Latvala (11-3) {0-0}

Kermode has a lot of wins by TKO but as of lately he has been taking fights to judges. Both of his wins in HFC have come by decision and he will be looking to get to win number twenty by any means necessary. I am sure he would like to get back to knocking guys out but I am sure he will take another decision win. Latvala will be making his HFC debut in this fight. He is currently eleven and three and eight of his wins have come by TKO. He will look to go toe to toe with Kermode and that should cause some major electricity.

Prediction: Kermode wins by TKO in round number 3

Main Event Main Card Bout Number 5- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

Kevin "THE ALMIGHTY" Garnett (32-16-2) {0-0} versus "Kansas City Hooligan " Richard Hickock (25-15-2) {2-0}

Garnett will be making his debut to HFC and he has a monster across form him. Garnett has had a lot more fights than Hickock and he will need to use that to his advantage. Hickock has looked great since signing with HFC and he is currently two and o. If he wins and resigns his contract I can’t see why he wouldn’t get a title shot. Richard will have a slight advantage in the stand up and he will need to take advantage in that department. Both of these fighters are great fighters and this could go in any direction.

Prediction: Hickock wins by TKO in round number 3

HONOR FC NEWS AND UPDATES

Hey guys, I hope you are all well - sorry this is the first newsletter/update in a few months (that means its a long one as there is so much to tell you) but I have had a really busy few months with my new job and can I just say a big thank you to anyone who has helped me out by accepting short notice fights in the last few months - there are too many of you to mention but you know who you are!

Ok now on to business - first of all I am very excited and proud to announce that HONOR FC has recently decided to start a partnership with an organization in Europe that will serve as a development organization for HONOR in Las Vegas. Since we have broken into the top 30 worldwide, our focus has changed and we are no longer marketing ourselves as an entry level org as we hope to sign the level of fighter than can take us to the next level. Now I realize that many of you ask me regularly to sign your newly created fighters and up until recently I have always tried to do so, but we are now at the stage where we need fighters to have a bit of hype and popularity and a few fights under their belt before they sign with us. Thats where the development org comes in - The org is in Helsinki and is called Honour Fighting Championship. The idea is for fighters to get a bit of experience and training time while only fighting fair fights against similar fighters with similar ID's - The org will have a 235k ID restriction to begin with - and then once they have proven themselves they will be offered a much better contract at HONOR FC in Las Vegas and all moving costs will be covered by HONOR FC. If you have any newly created fighter or want to create any for the purpose of fighting for HONOR then please contact Tony Rossi and he will happily sign your up and coming and project fighters and I will be watching the org closely and seeing how the young fighters careers develop. The link to the org page is here - http://mmatycoon.com/orgpublic.php?oid=4287

Now the downside to the previous news is that as Tony will be running the development org and therefore will no longer be writing the reports for HONOR. I am very sorry to lose Tony as he has been with me since day one and his help has been invaluable to me and I know many of you like his previews and reviews. This means that I am now looking for a new full time writer for HONOR FC to do previews and reviews for the wednesday and saturday cards each week so if anybody has a creative flair and wants to earn some extra in game cash or knows anybody who does then let me know. Pay is negotiable depending on quality of work and if I decide to split the role between two people but I am more than happy to pay above the odds for the right person/people.

Ok now back to the good news - As many of you will have already seen we will be running bi monthly events that will be HONOR FC vs FORBIDDEN VIOLENCE. Forbidden Violence will also be holding events in the opposite months that will be called FORBIDDEN VIOLENCE vs HONOR FC - Simple huh? The first few events will have three inter-promotional matchups and then if things take off and we have a lot of interest in the events then maybe we will have more and maybe even try to do a full card. Forbidden Violence will be hosting the first event on the 31st May and then HONOR will host the return event on the 28th June. The first matchups are already signed and please wish the best of luck to Kaito Rin, Oberlyn Martell and Roy Pitbull who will be going to FV to represent HONOR FC. If you are interested in your fighter representing HONOR at a future event then please let me know and I will try and get you onto one of the cards.

Ok guys nearly finished now I promise - I am thinking of opening a heavyweight division for the first time and and possibly even a super heavyweight division too. I would most likely start with a tournament to kick off the divisions with a bang and to crown the new champions. I would love to know what you guys think of this idea so please feel free to let me know your thoughts and views - all feedback is appreciated good or bad. Also if any of you have any fighters in the 265 or 265+ weight classes that need a deal that you would be interested in being in one of the tournaments or divisions then please let me know.

Finally a few quick things - My apologies regarding the lack of rankings in the last few months but I can assure you all they will return soon. As always if anybody needs any sponsorships for any of their fighters who are contracted to HONOR FC then please feel free to get in touch with Jacob What from our merchandise partner Meet the Future and he will be happy to send you a sponsorship. Lastly but by no means least - Thankyou very much to all you guys as you have all played a part in the early success of HONOR FC and it has been a pleasure working with you all and now hopefully together we can take HONOR to new heights.

Regards

Dan

Honour Fighting Championship in just four hours has already sent out one hundred contract offers. This organization will be a 230k ID restricted org and is based in Helsinki Finland. CEO Tony Rossi has been wrapped up with contract negotiations all day, and he is not trying to negotiate a television deal. If all goes well Honour Fighting Championship will have an hour long show which will feature breaking news, fight reviews, and expert analysis. Tony Rossi will be meeting with Eurosport CEO and Sky Sports CEO in an attempt to get this new program broadcast over most of Europe. Updates to this story will be released as soon as they are made available to the public.

Due to Tony opening Honour Fighting Championship in Helsinki, HONOR FC in Las Vegas is now in search of a new writer. I have two events per week on Wednesdays and Saturdays and need someone to do previews and reviews for them, so four articles per week. I am willing to split the work between two writers if thats what suits better. I am willing to pay either by the article or a weekly or monthly wage again whichever suits better. Pay is negotiable depending on your work but I am willing to pay above the odds for the right person. Send me a PM (92674) if you are interested. Thanks

Hey everyone, Calvin Hobbes here. I hope you’re all doing well. I’ll be taking over the previews and reviews temporarily as Dank Monk is searching for a new, permanent writer. I do have a fighter in this Org so my feelings may be biased, deal with it. Anyway, we have some pretty neat looking fights tonight as well as my boy West, fighting to reclaim the 185lb title. Anyway, here’s an idea of what you might be able to expect tonight, but don’t forget… ANYTHING can happen in the world of MMA.

Preliminary Bout Number 1 – Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

“Mr. T” Oscralo De Santiuya (7-7) VS. Toby “The Duke” Fluke (6-6)

First up is a welterweight fight. It’s pretty interesting because De Sanitiuya’s younger brother is actually in my Org and had a very surprising loss this weekend. Anyway, both of these guys have been struggling in their recent fights. De Santiuya is on a 0-2 decline and is facing a very strong brown belt with Fluke tonight. He’s going to want to keep this one standing at all costs, he’s no match for Fluke on the ground and more than half of his losses have come from via submission. Fluke will be fighting for the first time here in Honor FC. He’s 1-4 in his last five fights and he’s looking to make up lost time in a new Org.

Prediction: Well, I was looking at both of these fighters’ stat sheets. I don’t think Fluke is going to be able to get this to the ground very easily. With his 5 knockout losses and De Santiuya’s KO power, I definitely think Santiuya will get the KO in this one.

Preliminary Bout Number 2 – Lightweight Fight (155lbs)

Julius Caesar (6-1) VS. Junior “PittBull” Flores (4-3)

Caesar is the former Lightweight champion. He suffered his first loss last fight after being unable to keep his opponent off of him and got caught in a triangle, at the cost of his title. Flores has been here in Honor for quite some time. He had some nice KO’s early in his career, but lately his win one lose one record is less than impressive. His last three fights have gone to decision and he’ll be looking to keep this fight standing, and hopefully get the better of the standup tonight.

Prediction: I’m going with Caesar on this one, I don’t have much reasoning other than I believe he’s a much better fighter, sorry Flores.

Preliminary Bout Number 3 - Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Jonathan “The Cheetah” Mvungi (8-7) VS. “Pretty Pete” Peter Parker (24-15)

Time for some Veteran, elite fighters. These guys have got some serious skills everywhere the fight can take them. Parker has 11 years and a lot of experience on Mvungi, he seems to be better in every area aside from his hands. The key for Mvungi will probably be to utilize that one advantage that he does have and try to get away with the KO. I don’t think Parker has the same KO power as Mvungi and he’s lost his last 4 fights via TKO. His chin is getting more and more questionable every time out… he’s going to need a good gameplan to win this one.

Prediction: I think Mvungi has the energy, and power to get to Parker. Parker would be smart to try and get this to the ground, but looking at his past performances I’m not sure if he’s smart enough to make that a priority. I’m going with Mvungi via KO/TKO.

Preliminary Bout Number 4 – Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Dario “All-in” Sakara (3-1) VS. Rickson Bravo (8-6)

These two fighters are Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown belts with some pretty good boxing skills. Very similar skill sets and a good matchup if I do say so. Bravo, despite being a few years younger will have a significant advantage in experience. I’m not really sure what either of these fighters are going to do as far as their gameplan, but it looks to be a pretty even fight.

Prediction: These “even on paper” fights are really hard to predict without knowing the fighter and their styles. Since I’m new here I don’t know them well and I’m going to have to go with Bravo since he has the edge in experience.

Preliminary Bout Number 5 – Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

Eduardo Kuekuatsu” Alvarez (10-2) VS. Takeshi Watanabe (10-6)

For our final preliminary fight, we have what I think is going to be very one sided. Alvarez is really 5-0 in MMA. His other fights were in the HBGG league, which is basically no-gi BJJ. This man is incredibly talented and if this fight goes more than 2 minutes he’s definitely going to get this to the ground and get the easy submission. Watanabe is going to need to keep this fight standing and go for an early knockout, let’s see if he manages to muster up his muscle and put Alvarez away before he gets to utilize his superior grappling.

Prediction: I’m going with Alvarez 100% on this one.

Main Card Bout Number 1 – Lightweight Fight (155lbs)

Mac Hansen (29-20) VS. “Flash” Gordon Lefleaur (32-11)

First up on the main card, we have some seasoned fighters. They’re both 7-3 in their last 10 fights and prefer to stand and bang. We all know this makes for exciting fights and I think this one will deliver. Even though he prefers to standup, I think Hansens best bet here will be to get this fight to the ground where it seems to be more even. No idea what he’s going to do though, these higher level guys require more knowledge of their skills to have any idea what’s going to happen.

Prediction: Hm, I think Lefleaur is the better fighter here and will score the KO/TKO tonight.

Main Card Bout Number 2 – Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

K The “THE GREAT” Rad (12-4) VS. Kshitij Singh Negi (13-5)

Next up is K The Rad, or The Bear Killer as I like to call him some indian dude whose name I won’t even bother trying to pronounce. These two guys are both well known for their Muay Thai and KO/TKO finishes. Rad is more of an outside striker and Negi likes to pull on people’s heads and basically rape them to death. I think the goal here for Rad will be to keep this fight out of the clinch as much as possible so he doesn’t take too much damage.

Prediction: Not really sure who’s going to take this one, it basically depends on who is able to keep the fight where they want it. Given Rad’s awesomeness I’ll go with him via KO/TKO.

Main Card Bout Number 3 – Middleweight Title Fight (185lbs)

Arshnoor “THE BRUTALIZER” Singh (10-2) VS. “The Wasp” Wayde West (7-2)

This is the fight I’m most excited for as my boy West will be fighting Singh for the 185lb. title. This is another fight with two strong Muay Thai guys. Signh has a Ridiculous amount of OTN awards. Most were given by his own manager, which is why I strongly dislike this assclown. Anyway I don’t wanna say too much and step on too many toes, but whatever happens in this fight you can guarantee there will be plenty of legs flying around. May the best man win.

Prediction: Hmm.. as much as I want to say West is going to win this Singh is going to be a tough opponent and he has a few years of training on him, so I’ll go with Singh via TKO.

Co Main Event – Light Heavyweight Fight (205bs)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/24/24w8.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/22/22b22.jpg

Jules Winnfield (20-13) VS. “THE ANNIHILATOR” Jack Turnbull (18-8-1)

For our Co-Main Event, we have two fighters with a combined total of 21 OTN awards and I think it’s safe for us to expect a FotN here as well. Winnfield seems to be on a downward spiral as he’s lost his last 3 fights and he’s looking to change Org’s and mix things up to help him with this losing streak. Turnbull on the other hand is on a three fight winning streak and is going to look to keep it going. This is going to be a standup war for sure, the only question is who will survive?

Prediction: I’m going to have to jump on Turnbulls winning streak here. I think he’s riding high morale and will be very impressive in this fight.

Main Event - Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/17/17b11.jpg

“Rasta” Ziggy Cliff (21-9) VS. “El Martillo” Unai Arana (11-5)

(I'll get a picture of Ziggy up in the morning, forums are being a pain in the ass)

Next up is our main event. Both fighters are in their prime and are riding a nice win streak. Cliff is probably sweating out the THC as we speak this dude probably smokes more weed than I do, what a champ! He’s a standup dude who has zero interest in taking fights to the ground, even though he does have a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. This man fights for the fans for sure. Arana is no pushover either, he's on a three fight win streak and I don't think he has any intention of cutting it short. In his last fight, he won the KO of the Night Award with a huge one-punch knock out against Jorge Dennis. I think the key for him tonight is going to be bringing this fight in the clinch, Cliff hasn't been there much in his career and when he seems to have some trouble landing strikes.

Prediction: I have no idea what's going to happen here, but this looks to be a great fight and a good decision for a main event. I think i'll go with Cliff since he has the edge in experience and he's still in his prime.

Again, this is my first time writing for Honor and I haven't followed too much on all of the events but this looks to be a really good Wednesday night and I’m really excited to watch it. I hope you guys have enjoyed this as Tony Rossi was a great writer and I hope I can live up to it. Let me know what you guys think and make sure to tune in tomorrow night for the review. Peace out!

Hey HONOR FC fans, Calvin here. We had some great fights last night and I’m really excited to talk about them, even though my boy West didn’t do too well. Unfortunately I’m really short on time and I’m just going to have to hop straight into the tape to talk about the event, so here we go!

Preliminary Bout Number 1 – Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

“Mr. T” Oscralo De Santiuya DEFEATS Toby “The Duke” Fluke

Well, there’s not a whole lot to say here. The fight stats pretty much show what happened. De Santiuya absolutely demolished Fluke in every aspect. He stuffed 29 takedowns and the times he did get taken down, he was able fight off Flukes attacks without any problem. Around 1:00 into the first round, De Santiuya lands a combo that rocks Fluke. After stuffing another takedown attempt De Santiuya comes in and throws a huge right hand that levels Fluke and he dives down to get a few more punches in before the ref stops the fight.

Preliminary Bout Number 2 – Lightweight Fight (155lbs)

Julius Caesar DEFEATS Junior “PittBull” Flores

This one pretty much went how I expected it. Caesar dominated Flores everywhere this fight went. He couldn’t land a single strike standing up and couldn’t defend much of Caesar’s onslaught on the ground. Caesar landed a knockdown early in the second round, got on top of Flores and starting swinging for the hills. He eventually tries a sub attempt and after that fails he takes advantage of Flores being defenseless and throws a big right hand that knocks Flores out cold, earning the victory via KO.

Preliminary Bout Number 3 - Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

“Pretty Pete” Peter Parker DEFEATS Jonathan “The Cheetah” Mvungi

Ouch, Parker was set on shutting me up here. I didn’t think he had the power or skills to handle Mvungi, but he reassured me on how clueless I really am. Parker showed amazing agility, speed and overall striking skills tonight. He landed some a high percentage of his strikes and managed to avoid 75% of his opponents. At 3:00 in the first round, Parker ducks down to his left and lands a huge uppercut followed by a head kick that sends Mvungi to the floor and finishes the fight with some strikes from the mount that force the referee to stop the fight.

Preliminary Bout Number 4 – Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Rickson Bravo DEFEATS Dario “All-in” Sakara

This was definitely a hard one to predict but I had a hunch on Bravo and it did not fail me. This was definitely a ground war as expected. I think the key to Bravo’s victory was the ground strikes he threw that opened Sakara up and forced him to defend from all angles and eventually allowed Bravo to drop back and slip in an unexpected kneebar. Bravo gets the submission victory at 1:40 in the third round in what was a very exciting fight, especially since most of it was on the ground.

Preliminary Bout Number 5 – Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

Eduardo Kuekuatsu” Alvarez DEFEATS Takeshi Watanabe

I feel like these fights are a lot easier to predict than what I’m used to, but maybe I’m just getting lucky. Alvarez had no problem taking out Watanabe tonight. He landed everything he wanted to at will, from takedowns to ground and pound he timed his attacks perfectly. There’s not much else to say, Alvarez took him early, beat him up, advanced his position and put him to sleep with a triangle. Perfect fight for Alvarez.

Main Card Bout Number 1 – Lightweight Fight (155lbs)

“Flash” Gordon Lefleaur DEFEATS Mac Hansen

Despite not knowing these guys too well I think I called this one pretty nicely. Hansen’s goal was to try and get this fight to the ground where had a better chance to win. Lefleaur showed outstanding takedown defense, stuffing all fifteen of Hansen’s attempts to take this to the ground. He easily out-struck Hansen part of which may have been due to all the lost energy from the failed takedown attempts. In the third round Lefleaur was able to rock Hansen and even get a knockdown. However, Hansen showed tremendous hard and wouldn’t allow Lefleaur to finish the fight and he stuck in there until the final bell. Lefleaur didn’t get the victory but he was clearly the better fighter and earned the judge’s decision.

Main Card Bout Number 2 – Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

K The “THE GREAT” Rad DEFEATS Kshitij Singh Negi

I would first like to say thank you to K Rad for shutting down Negi tonight. He was able to do exactly what he needed to and keep this fight out of the clinch as much as possible. Actually, even when he was in the clinch with Negi he was able to defend against a lot of his attacks. He was much more aggressive tonight, that combined with his clinch defense earned him the victory via judge’s decision.

Main Card Bout Number 3 – Middleweight Title Fight (185lbs)

Arshnoor “THE BRUTALIZER” Singh DEFEATS “The Wasp” Wayde West

This was an unfortunate fight for me, but it went as I expected it to. Singh dominated West the entire fight and pretty much sent West back to the drawing board. He landed over 80% of his strikes he outclassed easily outclassed West and showed how superior his striking defense was. At 3:30 in the first round Singh throws a huge head kick that West misinterpreted and tried to block low, the kick landed flush to the head and put West to sleep.

Co Main Event – Light Heavyweight Fight (205bs)

“THE ANNIHILATOR” Jack Turnbull DEFEATS Jules Winnfield

This was an absolutely amazing fight and probably the fight of the night. Winnfield and Turnbull went at it all three rounds, beating this shit out of each other and putting on great show for the fans, who were very happy to express their pleasure with screams and applause. Turnbull dominated the first two rounds but Winnfield was coming back in the third and showed his heart and determination. At the very end of the fight Winnfield managed to score a knockdown, unfortunately the bell rang immediately after and he wasn’t able to finish it and ended up losing due to the first two rounds. Think he could have taken this had he had one more minuted? Let us know your thoughts!

Main Event - Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

“El Martillo” Unai Arana DEFEATS “Rasta” Ziggy Cliff

Well this fight didn’t quite go as I expected but it was still a great fight. Arana was the more active and accurate fighter throughout this entire fight and was able to take it to Cliff wherever the fight went. Despite all this he wasn’t able to get a knockdown or finish the fight, but he did earn the judge’s decision. In his Post-fight interview, Cliff blamed this on him not getting enough rest… but nobody gives a shit, professionalism is a huge part of this lifestyle. Get with the program man!

Well that was a pretty awesome Wednesday night in my eyes, the main events were absolutely awesome and all the fighters came out to put on a show. I hope you’ve all enjoyed it and it’s been an honor writing for… HONOR? Hah, my jokes are awesome aren’t they? Well I’ll see you guys next time, which may or may not be Saturday’s event. I’ll have to see if I can sneak away from the wife for a bit. Later guys!

Singh dominated West the entire fight and pretty much sent West back to the drawinghttp://cdncache1-a.akamaihd.net/items/it/img/arrow-10x10.png board.

Despite all this he wasn’t able to get a knockdown or finish the fight, but he did earnhttp://cdncache1-a.akamaihd.net/items/it/img/arrow-10x10.png the judge’s decision.

Later guys!
