JLP
I slept through the first one and never got around to watching the second. It's kind of hard for me to understand how Barao's stock got lowered so far because I haven't seen the fight. I hate that the UFC gave him an immediate re-match so shortly after the first loss. If Dillashaw wins, Barao goes into the "overly talented gatekeeper" role until Dillashaw loses the title. Would have been better for Barao to get a tune-up fight and some more gym time to work on the flaws Dillashaw exposed in his game. Assuncao is on a 6 fight winning streak with one of those a close win over Dillashaw. He would have been the better #1 contender.
catako
I think Dillashaw will pull the win again, he really impressed me in the first one and he's only getting better plus that he's trained for barao for so long

Scooby
Barao TKO 5th 4:12 Anyone getting a TKO in the last minute of a championship fight would be an epic fight
threat
Barao will win. Don't forget that he's still a monster I think that what's happening now I could call it the "Jones-Gus-Teixeira" effect. After a close fight with Gus, people forget how much of a monster Jones is and start shouting that Teixeira will KO him. But Jones annihilated him. I think here goes the same, Barao was a walking dead after that big shot in the first. I think he should learn some of those leg kicks from his teammate Aldo, use them more, and chop the roots. That will stop Dillashaw's movement and I'd say he will lose

That will stop Dillashaw's movement and I'd say he will lose Tbh, Barao's strength is the ground game, his stand up is consistent of a great jab and a great low kick, but other than that his stand up is very wild and TJ exposed that badly. I think TJ will win again, his first fight with Barao showed he is a bad matchup for him
philofthefuture
I think TJ is a 'counter' of Barao. Skillwise, he doesn't overpower Barao, but his skill-SET is better. You know what I mean.
philofthefuture
Prediction: Dillashaw win by TKO Round 3 3:20PS: Jones Gustaffson 2 could've completed the cards and made it Monstrous. Too bad injuries got to them

JCRaven
What do you mean, the match or the prediction? Barao passed out before weigh ins so TJ is fighting Joe Soto it's still gonna be for the belt

philofthefuture
Barao passed out before weigh ins so TJ is fighting Joe Soto it's still gonna be for the belt WTF I just read it. I was waiting for this event and now the 2 main events changed. Oh well, Soto would still be a great matchup though. What happens to our bets in bookmakers? Guest
Olympic Gold Medallist Cejudo is also off this card now as well due to "Medical reasons". UFC 177 may just be the worst PPV of all time haha

UFC 177 may just be the worst PPV of all time haha thats fucked up. 177 looks like a total flop for the UFC. Souza/Mousasi is next week though and thats a fight I have really been looking forward to. Jacman
I like how the slogan of the ppv is "never trust the odds" and a UFC newcomer is being thrown in against the champ. A very fitting situation.

A very fitting situation. It's not like that, as I think they tried with better fighters to replaced Barrao, but who can be ready in 1 day notice and be on weight. I don't really like fighters who are too big for the weight class that are distroying their health just so that can fight smaller opponents. DavyJones
It was already possibly the worst PPV card in UFC history and then THIS happens. unbelieveable! I'll still watch it but damn that's a pretty crazy turn of events.
