Punching doesn't affect it at all. You need to work on Ground and Pound. Wrestling also boosts it.
juicemalone
Train GNP with a dbl elite (jiu jitsu and wrestling) Sparring wrestling and getting that up will also help. 2
KingMSD
Also def grappling and BJJ to get you into a good position so you can finish fights with GnP
Slaperz
As far as I can tell, having low strength will give you pillow hands when punching anything, no matter if it is standup, or GNP. I think Strength will help your GNP damage, and the damage of your strikes standing up, so I personally consider good strength important for GNP. DavyJones
You will want transitions as well so you can get yourself into the best position to lay down the GnP. Also I believe balance helps you maintain top position.
Madness
Does agility help accuracy or only when standing?
thb
I think balance and wrestling are the most important skills that help GNP
TPowell1990
wrestling and boxing most important primaries ground and pound, punch tech, and transitions most important secondaries (gnp and punch tech. most) strength mostly, balance and maybe speed (to get takedowns)
Skap
Does agility help accuracy or only when standing? Agility will help top position balance I believe will help with bottom.
KingMSD
Agility will help top position balance I believe will help with bottom. Balance makes way more sense than agility for both i think
