OPEN WEIGH-IN: Main Event/Co-Main Event

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1426871946EP%2018.jpg

The first man to walk to the scale was undefeated ground and pound stylist Walter Black. He walked to the scale to a respectable amount of cheering from the fans. This will be his first fight under the Epicity Productions banner, so I'm sure a lot of people are wondering what this man is capable of.

http://i.imgur.com/Es9TPoe.jpg

Next up was his opponent, with an Epicity Productions MMA record of three wins and one loss, this man needed little introduction to the Epicity fans in attendance. The noise level increased by several decibels as George Baba walked to the scale in his Karate gi. Baba quickly disrobed, and stepped onto the scale. Although he made 185 lbs, it's obvious that he cut a lot of water to make it to middleweight, which has left his frame almost skeleton-like. He paused long enough to take a long sip of his coconut water before squaring off with his opponent, Walter Black.

http://i.imgur.com/e8M361f.jpg

Walter Black puffed himself up, trying to look intimidating, and George Baba looked almost disinterested in what he saw as an unnecessary antic.

http://i.imgur.com/OxWA6Hy.jpg

Still, both men gave a firm handshake, and Baba gave a respectful bow to his soon-to-be fisticuffs dance partner.

Next up in the main event, we had the amateur wrestler, representing the Sons of Thunder fight team, Jeremy Smith!

Jeremy Smith walked into the room with his childhood friends and training partners at his back. As he climbed the steps up to the stage, he pointed to a giant poster of the defending champion, Lotus Suzinuki, and made a motion with his hands like he was sleeping; some fans loved it, others booed. We had a very mixed crowd in attendance.

Even as he disrobed, Jeremy Smith was screaming to the audience: “SNOOZE” INUKI IS TAKING A NAP! I'M THE NEW CHAMP AFTER THIS!” Which, again, earned him a very mixed reaction. Jeremy Smith only had to cut one pound to make weight, so he looked absolutely massive as he flexed for the ring girls.

http://i.imgur.com/gv4mf9A.jpg

Following this, the lights dimmed and then flickered to life; on the big screen television overhead, a highlight reel played with a heavy rap beat blasting through the arena speakers. The final clip of the preview showed Lotus Suzinuki smacking DeMarcus DeSilva with a head kick followed by an overhand right, and of the president of Epicity Productions, Dick, putting the belt around the waist of Suzinuki.

Lotus Suzinuki walked into the room to an absolute eruption of cheers and applause from the fans in attendance. Suzinuki's entrouge was walking with him, throwing their hands in the air to call for more cheers. Meanwhile, Suzinuki, who was clad in a satin robe, munched lazily on a bag of cool ranch Doritos, a huge smile plastered to his face. As he climbed to the stage, he maintained eye contact with his challenger.

Suzinuki handed his hat, sunglasses, and cheesy good chips off to a cornerman, wiped his hands on said cornerman's shirt, and quickly disrobed to mount the scale. Much like his opponent, Lotus Suzinuki had little trouble making weight, and looked to be in absolutely phenomenal shape for this fight. As the athletic commission employee announced that he was perfectly on weight, Suzinuki flexed, and smiled at his opponent.

http://i.imgur.com/LGWefCc.jpg

Lotus Suzinuki quickly walked over to square off with his opponent, middle finger extended. He pressed in close, pushing Jeremy Smith back a bit. Jeremy Smith gave Suzinuki a double handed shove, pushing him back, and a full-on melee broke out between the two camps. Event officials scrambled to keep the men away from each other and defuse the situation.

http://i.imgur.com/sFhVrs6.jpg

Once the calm had resumed, the event announcer spoke to Lotus Suzinuki, asking him what had just happened.

Suzinuki smiled at his pissed off challenger and said,That little man is scared. He is putting on a big show, trying to make himself appear larger than life, like you would behave around a stray dog. He calls himself the sandman, but he is the one going to sleep tomorrow night.

Next, the announcer spoke with Jeremy Smith, asking him for his take on what just went down, and how he thinks the fight will go. Smith responded, “LITTLE SNOOZE-INUKI is going to take a nap tomorrow night! They're going to call me The Sandman after I put this bum to sleep!

Tickets are still available to this show! EP 18: Suzinuki versus Smith will take place live at the Parisian Arena, only in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Both of our main event fighters feel that they are the superior mixed martial arts fighter. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20150113202340ep.png(Welterweight Division, Championship bout) Lotus Suzinuki© (13-6) versus Jeremy Smith (9-3)

(Preview)

Epicity Productions welterweight champion of the world Lotus Suzinuki started his lengthy career at Warzone 21, where he stopped Anders Breivik in the first round. After choking out Dan Smith, Lotus was defeated via majority decision after a grueling war of attrition. Lotus Suzinuki rebounded with five dominant victories, including a victory over future Insanity MMA welterweight champion Jozef Beast.

Despite his rampant success, Suzinuki found himself losing yet another judge's decision, this time to Jens Pederson. After defeating two more opponents, Suzinuki would be stopped for the first time in his lengthy career when he faced Jacob Holm at IMMA 36. Suzinuki would move to Hawaii and sign an exclusive contract to fight for the Hilo Fight League, where he would go 2-3 and be dropped by his management team.

Under new management, Lotus Suzinuki has signed to fight exclusively for Epicity Productions. In his EP debut, Suzinuki defeated Andy Barclay via unanimous decision before knocking out DeMarcus DeSilva early in the third round to claim the undisputed welterweight championship of the world.

Lotus Suzinuki has declared himself a future top ten fighter in all of Las Vegas, giving his guarantee that he would run through Jeremy Smith en route to his glorious destiny.

Not one to be slighted, Jeremy “Hands of Stone” Smith has launched a heartfelt campaign, telling the champion exactly how he feels about these claims. Smith believes that it is HE that will leave the arena the champion. He has declared that he will be the first man to knock out Suzinuki in Epicity Productions.

Jeremy Smith started his career with a pair of first round QFC knockouts over Black Zach. He immediately signed to fight for Insanity MMA, where he would stop two more opponents en route to his first title shot. His opponent was Gustavo Meranda, a two-time welterweight champion, who had already defended his second championship twice going into their meeting. Smith would make quick work of Meranda, knocking him out in just three minutes with a brutal head kick. “Hands of Stone” proved that he also had shins of steel with this performance. Unfortunately, Smith would lose his title in his very first defense attempt when he was submitted late in the fight by Pierre Morrell. Perhaps ironically, the scorecards were released after the fact; at the time that Jeremy Smith tapped out due to a rear naked choke, he was ahead on the scorecards 40-36. Had he survived that final round, Smith would have retained his championship.

Smith would fight once more, outing Johnny Luca via unanimous decision, and then would be dropped by his management team. Under new management (a cliché I have used a lot tonight, I know), Jeremy Smith signed a three fight extension with Insanity MMA, and would go 1-2 on the new contract. Smith would be dropped by his second management team shortly thereafter.

Under new management once more, Jeremy Smith signed to fight for Epicity Productions, defeating former EP welterweight champion Wrestlefuck Wrestling. In his most recent fight, Smith faced Dmitri Yurkov, a strong ground fighter; Smith would knock Yurkov unconscious with a flying knee late in the first round.

[CO-MAIN EVENT]

(Middleweight Division) Walter Black (7-0) versus George Baba (7-1)

(Preview)

Walter Black is an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter that utilizes a very high level of wrestling with an excellent Jiu-Jitsu game to maintain his undefeated status. Under his original management team, he competed twice in the QFC, and once for Insanity MMA, stopping Paulo Barral in under four minutes.

After signing with a new management team, Black would fight twice more in small town QFC shows before being signed to fight for the East Coast Fighting Championship, where he would win via ground and pound stoppage before the two minute mark twice.

George Baba is a three time 'of the night' winner, was on an incredible win streak until last month, and is known for his killer instinct, with six of his seven victories coming by way of knockout or submission.

George Baba started his career in the QFC arena, submitting his opponent midway through the opening round. He submitted his next opponent, in the East Coast Fighting League, and battered a foe into unconsciousness in the World Class Warrior promotion. His last fight as a free agent came in the Relativity MMA promotion, where he went the distance for the first time in his career, winning via split decision.

Shortly thereafter, Baba made his Epicity Productions debut with a second round submission of Greg Smith. After felling Raul Rodriguez, Baba would face the toughest fight of his career in John Hoop. This fight wound last until late in the second round, with a badly bleeding George Baba catching Hoop in a Rear Naked Choke.

For his most recent fight, George Baba faced former Golden Gloves champion and boxing powerhouse Dale McCann. George Baba scored an early counter takedown into the guard of the slugger, controlling his way to a referee standup. Despite getting another takedown into guard late in the round, Baba would enter the second frame with a clear disadvantage on the judge's scorecards. Dale McCann showed his grittiness by pressing Baba against the cage and overwhelming him with short range punches, wounding Baba badly and forcing the referee stoppage. This was the only defeat of George Baba's professional fighting career.

[MAIN CARD]

(Heavyweight Division) Buster Quinn (7-2) versus Manchester Red (5-2)

(Preview)

Buster “Harley” Quinn made his MMA debut in a low rent QFC fight back in March of 2014. After taking more time off to train, he fought a single fight for Relativity MMA, stopping his opponent in under three minutes. He next fought for the East Coast Fight League, stopping Mohamed Hassan in the first round.

Quinn would next sign to fight for Warzone MMA, the company where he would fight his next three fights. For some reason that is unclear as of right now, Buster Quinn would be cut from his management team with a perfect 6-0 MMA record. Under new management, Quinn would stop Johnny Yager at Epicity's New Years Massacre event. And would be dropped by his new management team after just one fight, with a record of 7-0.

Quinn's bad luck wouldn't stop there; he would be given a shot at Sean Watson for the heavyweight championship of the world next. After being dominated in the first round by Watson, Quinn would be stopped in the second. In his next outing, Quinn was knocked out for the first time in his career by Bernard Bear.

Manchester Red is an English kickboxer that has won four of five fights via brutal knockout. After dominating the Butterball super-heavyweight tournament, Red would be dropped by his management. His new team would sign him to fight for Death Squad MMA, where he would be cut after being submitted in the first round. Most recently, Red was submitted by elite Judoka Satoshi Ishii.

(Middleweight Division) Travis Davies (7-9) versus Kshitij Singh Negi (16-10)

(Preview)

Travis Davies is a freestyle fighter that, early in his career, competed in QFC shows five times, to unflattering results. Soon thereafter, Davies signed an exclusive contract to fight for Pomplinestine Fighting Championship; in his PFC debut, Davies would be defeated by Kshitij Singh Negi, which is only the second most horrible name that I will have to type today. Davies would rebound with a pair of brutal first round knockouts, including over fellow EP fighter Ben Simpson, before challenging for the PFC middleweight championship. He would be stopped in the first round by LeBron James. No relation.

After another pair of violent victories, Davies would be signed to fight for Epicity Productions. After being defeated by John Hoop (in a brawl that would win 'of the night' honors), “Bam Bam” Davies would submit Greg Smith. Travis Davies would next rematch Ben Simpson, and be defeated in the same fashion that he had used to beat Simpson so long prior.

In his most recent appearance, Davies was submitted by Stefan Kung.

Kshitij Singh Negi is a Muay Thai kickboxer that has fought nearly forty times in professional mixed martial arts. He is the proud owner of a pair of KO of the night bonuses, as well as a Fight of the Night bonus. He has a three time world championship title challenger and a one time world champion; he claimed the Honor Fighting Championship middleweight title back in 2014.

Before that, he was a Death Squad MMA contender with a record of 9-1 (with the company).

This former world champion will be making his Epicity debut in this rematch of his July fight against Davies.

(Lightweight Division) Boreste Bardanos (3-1) versus Marvin Zerkle (6-4)

(Preview)

Boreste “El Diablo” Bardanos is one of the highest level martial artists to grace Epicity with his presence; he is a proud owner of a gold medal from the Olympics where he wrestled, representing his home country. He is also a master of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, holding a red belt in the art. After a pair of QFC fights, El Diablo signed to fight for Epicity Productions. In his promotional debut, he knocked his opponent out on the feet in the second round after dominating him in the first. His very next EP fight was against Jiu-Jitsu black belt Zlatko Zahovic; Bardanos would dominate the majority of the fight, with the wily Zahovic locking in a sneaky triangle choke in the second round to force the tap.

Marvin Zerkle is an amateur wrestler-turned-fighter. He holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which he has used throughout his career to submit foes. He cut his teeth in the Hilo Fight League, holding a record of 5-3 with the company. In Epicity, Zerkle was defeated by Bruce Armstrong in his debut, rebounded with a win over Paul George, and was defeated once more when he challenged Jeffrey Miller for the EP Lightweight Championship.

[uNDERCARD]

(Light-heavyweight Division) Charlie Cosades (5-5-1) versus Boogie Knight (8-5)

(Preview)

Charlie “Chaos” Cosades, who is usually just called “Charlie Chaos”, is an American wrestler that has gone through three management teams during the course of his lengthy MMA career. He made his professional debut in a backwater town in Alabama; his promotion, a local QFC show, took place in a tent... with misquitos biting, and bloodthirsty rednecks calling for heads to roll, you can probably imagine why his nerves held him back. He was defeated via unanimous decision. Despite this, he signed to fight for BEEF, knocking out his first opponent in just four minutes.

Charlie Chaos was defeated in his next fight, and subsequently changed management teams. Under new management, Chaos signed to fight for NY Fight Nights, where he would fight twice (to mixed results), before signing to fight for the Legendary Fighters Championship. He would go 1-1-1 for the promotion and once again find himself on the free agent market devoid of a proper manager.

Once again under new management, Charlie Chaos has fought twice, with one first round submission defeat, and one brutal first round slam knockout victory.

Boogie Knight, who bears a striking resemblance to Ahmir-Khalib Thompson, or “that guy that plays the drums for The Roots”, is New York based mixed martial artist that is known for his tremendous knock out power. Like his opponent, he is on his third consecutive management team. He spent the majority of his career fighting for Insanity MMA where he put together a 3-3 record. He fought twice for Epicity Productions, losing on both occasions, before playing the free agent market on the QFC circuit.

Coming off three consecutive stoppage victories, he has returned to Epicity Productions to make one final run at the light-heavyweight championship.

(Middleweight Division) Leiro Nayr (9-7) versus Wesley Denson (8-8)

(Preview)

Leiro Nayr is a former professional boxer that was inspired to make the transition to mixed martial arts after watching Tim Sylvia get floored by Ray Mercer in just nine seconds. He started training various martial arts at the Vendetta Elite Gym, where he learned some basic ground defenses, as well as clinchfighting. He started his career fighting for MadDogs MMA, where he racked up three first round victories. He followed this by knocking out Alexusso Bolir at Hostility: Unleashed. He fought nine more times for the promotion, earning a record of 6-4 with the company, including two shots at the light-heavyweight championship. His final fight for Hostility MMA was against Koji Kanegi, which he won via first round knockout.

Nayr is currently 0-3 in Epicity Productions, having faced Ben Simpson, John Hoop, and Ho Chi Min.

Wesley Denson is a British kickboxer that fought virtually his entire career under the Troid banner. His record with Troid is 7-7. In his time with the company, he earned an aura of respect from the middleweight division as a man with serious power in his hands.

(Heavyweight Division) Bernard Bear (5-3) versus Clayton Laurence (5-4)

(Preview)

Bernard “The Grizzly” Bear is a catch wrestler that was overly confident going into his MMA debut; he was convinced that, with his wrestling background, and his submission based top game, he was ready for any opponent that the sport had to offer; he was taught a quick lesson at the hands of Tae Jin King, a wily Jiu-Jitsu specialist. Bear took him to the ground with the fluidity and ease that you would expect from a decorated wrestler of his caliber. Unfortunately, until that night, Bernard Bear thought the “armbar” was something you wrested your elbow on while drinking downtown. Tae Kang was seemingly trapped with Bear in his half guard; Kang rolled, brought his legs to bear, and cranked on the trapped arm of Bernard Bear in just 51 seconds. Since then, Bernard Bear has become a sort of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu aficionado; he has earned his own brown belt in the martial art, and uses his newfound submission prowess to its fullest. But he is no one-trick pony; his ground and pound is second to none. After two dominant showings in the Relativity MMA promotion, Bear would claim the heavyweight championship and defend it twice. He lost his championship to Rasputin Erasmus, the current #6 ranked heavyweight in the division.

Following this defeat, Bernard Bear signed to fight for Epicity Productions... and was knocked out in just under five minutes by Gusttavo Lima. He next faced Buser Quinn, whom he knocked out at 1:16 of the very first round.

Clayton Laurence is a brawler that has fought three times for the QFC arena, coming away with only one victory in that time. He defeated Roberto Issa at Watford vs. Blazing VFC 1, and then signed to fight for Banishment MMA. He went 3-0 fighting for BAN and then signed to fight for the Silent Fighting Championship. Regrettably, Laurence left that promotion with a pair of defeats and no victories.

(Light-heavyweight Division) Alex Rodriguez (4-3) versus Seymore Til Alexandros (6-3)

(Preview)

Alex Rodriguez is a former amateur wrestler that made his professional MMA debut back in late 2014 with a first round knockout of Ronikolai Reznitov at TKO MMA #92. This would be the first and only time that Rodriguez would fight for The Kids of MMA; shortly after, he would sign with GAMMA: Contenders, where he would spend the rest of his career until this point. Following two dominant stoppage victories, Rodriguez would face defeat for the first time in his career, when he was beaten on points by Drew Peacock. Following this loss, Rodriguez would face future Epicity Productions light-heavyweight champion Medium Hardon. Their fight was a deep and long war that saw both men score takedowns, control time on top, and land hellish ground and pound. Ultimately, Rodriguez would walk away the victor. Despite following this performance with two hard defeats, you have to think that Rodriguez is eyeballing the last man he defeated, the throne he sits atop, and believes that he can take that seat.

Seymour Til Alexandros The Seventeenth is the proud owner of the second name that I have refused to type out fully more than once per write-up. The first one was a guy named Cccccccc Cccccccc. Yes, that is the letter 'C' sixteen times. Blow me, I'm not typing that again. So, just as I renamed the latter to Cc Cc, I have renamed this man “Seymour Til Alexandros”.

Seymour Til Alexandros started his professional MMA career with four dominant victories in the Barbarian Fight Club promotion. In all four performances, we saw him take opponents to the ground, and pound them into a helpless state, forcing the referee to stop the fight. Seymour made an appearance at HFC Fight Time 2, the event where Brian Pereira knocked out Don Schmidt. In this fight, Seymour stopped Hal Tamner in the second round. Seymour then fought a single fight for Warzone MMA, where he was defeated for the first time in his career. Following that disappointing loss, Seymour signed to fight for Epicity Productions; he made his promotional debut at EP 7, stopping Chris Johnson in the first round. Unfortunately, it has been all down hill from there: after losing a majority decision to Wayne Conner, Seymour dove face-first into a second round submission at the hands of Ruarc Lacy.

(Light-heavyweight Division) Daniel Crushman (3-1) versus Brian Pereira (5-4-1)

(Preview)

Daniel “Big Daddy” Crushman is a Muay Thai specialist that fought all four of his professional fights for the UNFC Tokyo promotion. While there he earned his reputation as a technical kickboxer with a tight clinch game. He trains out of the famous, or perhaps infamous, LOD: Stockton Cardio gym.

He will be facing the only man to give him a defeat: Brian Pereira. Brian started his professional career in the Barbarian FC promotion with a first round submission of Epic Gracie. After going 3-1 with BFC, Pereira defeated two time title challenger Don Schmidt at HFC Fight Time 2, before signing to fight for UNFC. In his promotional debut, Pereira was defeated by Antoni Kristofer Hong; after fighting to a draw against Ed Fazio, he defeated Daniel Crushman. Following another defeat at the hands of Antoni Kristofer Hong, Pereira would be decision'd by Frank Dozer at EP 14.

This had me laughing uncontrollably, my wife asked what the hell was wrong with me laying in bed laughing my head off

The worst part is trying to explain all of this to someone that doesn't know/understand the game. There is no way to make MMATycoon sound cool to someone that doesn't already get it or play this type of game lol

Dude you are ROCKSTAR!!!!!! This is perfect!

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20150113202340ep.png(Welterweight Division, Championship bout) Lotus Suzinuki© (13-6) versus Jeremy Smith (9-3)

I want to fight in the main event on every card!!! Oh wait, after Jeremy KO's "Snooze"inuki He will!!! :winner:

Great event all around guys, I will do a brief rundown of my thoughts tomorrow and I can't wait for another one of Hoarse's awesome reviews.

One thing tho, this was not a one-sided beatdown for the Welterweight title and thank god we have had plenty of one-sided title fights. Smith came to fight and he brought it winning the first 2 rounds but Lotus proved he's a champ and pulled his own version of the Snoozunuki by putting Smitht to sleep. Great effort from both sides.

[uNDERCARD BOUTS]

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Daniel Crushman versus Brian Pereira
Round 1 – The big talk of the training camp of Brian Pereira was that, in their first fight, Pereira's trainers saw some instances where Crushman was able to exploit the sloppy footwork of Pereira to land shots. So, Pereira sparred heavily with championship level fighters such as Steve Belliveau to prepare for this rematch.

The benefit of Pereira's intense training was evident early, as the two warriors traded power leg kicks. Just as Crushman started to pick up the pace with his attacks, Pereira clinched with him against the cage. In the clinch, Pereira was working heavy body shots, trying to drain the gas tank of Daniel Crushman.

After spending most of the first frame clinching, breaking the clinch, and clinching again, Daniel Crushman managed to score a last minute takedown in an attempt to steal the round.

Round 2 – Daniel Crushman managed to land a decent right hand to open the round, but quickly found himself on the receiving end of a relentless onslaught. Pereira clinched with Crushman and pulled guard. Daniel Crushman worked to advance his position, with Pereira pressed against the cage, but Pereira reversed, rolling to top guard instead! Brian Pereira loaded up with a Jon Jones esque hellbow and Daniel Crushman reversed, landing himself back into top guard! Pereira threatened to make something happen with an armlock from the bottom, but the two fighters pretty much just controlled for the next minute, until the referee stood them back up.

The two men traded blows until about the four minute mark, where Pereira clinched once more. Pereira controlled Crushman against the cage, staying just active enough to not have the referee break them up.

Round 3 – A brief show of respect, as Pereira and Crushman touch gloves in the center of the cage before attacking. Pereira controlled the center of the ring, driving Crushman back against the cage with heavy punches. Crushman seemed to almost go down off a left hook, but it might have been a slip. Brian Pereira used a looping body shot to get in close and clinch.

Daniel Crushman handled the clinch game better this round; he actually had Pereira trapped against the wire meshing of the cage, and was working Pereira over with short range punches. Just as Crushman seemed to be taking over this fight, Pereira pulled guard at the four minute mark! As Crushman tried to break free of the guard to stand, Pereira threatened with a triangle from the bottom. Just as surely as Crushman shrugged his way out of the first triangle attempt, he fell into the second with one arm trapped! Crushman tapped out!
Brian Pereira def. Daniel Crushman via Submission (Triangle Armbar) at 4:58 of round 3.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Alex Rodriguez versus Seymour Til Alexandros The Seventeenth
Round 1 – Rodriguez opened up very aggressive, was changing levels to effectively land strikes and get out of range before Alexandros could retaliate. Alex Rodriguez got a bit careless, however, when he threw a lunging uppercut, allowing Seymour to double leg him into side control. Rodriguez did manage to get back to guard, but the bulk of the opening round was spent with Seymour Alexandros chipping away at him with ground and pound. Absolute 10-9 round for Seymour Til Alexandros.

Round 2 – This time, it was Seymour Til Alexandros connecting with clean shots and avoiding the payback. Rodriguez was still throwing shots, but they were coming slower than before. Seymour caught the leg kick of A-Rod and dragged him to the ground once again, landing in half guard. With Seymour Alexandros landing heavy ground and pound from half guard, A-Rod started to threaten with a submission from the bottom, but Seymour was keen to his plans. Near the end of the round, Alex Rodriguez managed to reverse, landing on top in the guard of Seymour Til Alexandros. Too little too late; another round goes to the man with the impossibly long name.

Round 3 – Alex Rodriguez had to know that this fight was all but lost if he didn't finish; he came out swinging for the fences early... unfortunately, he was only hitting the fences, as Seymour was easily avoiding his shots. Near the one minute mark, Alex Rodriguez drove Seymour Alexandros against the cage, looking to snatch a single leg to bring Alexandros to the ground. Unfortunately for him, it was Seymour Til Alexandros tripped A-Rod up, bringing him to the ground; full guard. A-Rod tried to grab a guillotine choke, but Seymour avoided it. Til Alexandros postured up to land some ground and pound and Alex Rodriguez scrambled to his feet, driving Til Alexandros to his back. A-Rod landed in the guard of Seymour Alexandros. The two fighters fought for position for the better part of the next minute, until Alexandros reversed back to the guard position on top. Alex Rodriguez tried to throw up a triangle choke, but Seymour Alexandros nullified it with ease, and controlled the top position for the remainder of the round. This was pretty much a one-sided domination for Seymour Til Alexandros, who controlled 90% of the fight with ease. Seymour Til Alexandros The Seventeenth def. Alex Rodriguez via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

(Heavyweight Division) Bernard Bear versus Clayton Laurence

Round 1 – Early on, Clayton Laurence was landing with slapping leg kicks and straight punches, keeping Bernard Bear at a distance. Bear was having a great deal of difficulty closing the distance and landing shots, and was getting eaten up on the way inside. So, one minute in, Bernard Bear changed strategies: he pulled a swan dive onto the legs of Clayton Laurence, landing in side control on top of the man. Bernard Bear opted to stay in side control, working hard elbows to the face of Laurence, busting open some scar tissue on his face; after two solid minutes of just constant elbows, the referee paused the fight so that the doctor could take a look at the huge cash over the right eye of Clayton Laurence. When the doctor was unable to stop the bleeding, he stopped the fight instead. Solid performance for Bernard Bear, who used his wrestling to effectively dictate where the fight took place. Bernard Bear def. Clayton Laurence via TKO (Doctor Stoppage) at 2:39 of round 1.

(Middleweight Division) Leiro Nayr versus Wesley Denson

Round 1 – After Leiro Nayr walked to the cage to the classic tune of AC/DC's Thunderstruck, Wesley Denson gave us the most surreal entrance possible: he walked out in a Mexican poncho and a cowboy hat with the theme song from The Good, The Bad, And the Ugly playing. If you're unclear what that is, it's that song that goes like this: doodle-doooo, wah wah wah, doodle-dooooo, wah, wah, wah. Nevermind, just Google it.

Anyways, Leiro Nayr dominated this brief, albeit exciting fight from the opening bell; he used a game of clinch-and-release, tagging Denson with short range hook punches up close, and looping overhand punches from afar. Denson did manage to land one punch, which is more than most pundits expected in this fight. Leiro Nayr was expected to win, and he did just that. Two minutes into the opening round, Nayr landed with a series of big punches that toppled Denson, and followed up with more strikes. Denson tapped out to save himself from further drain bamage. Doo-doo-doo, wah-wah-wah. In his post fight speech, Nayr said, 'I have one single goal each time I fight. To destroy or be destroyed. I have no fear. I make no excuses. I can be defeated but my spirit is unconquerable. So line 'em up I don't care. I just want to hurt someone.'. Leiro Nayr def. Wesley Denson via Submission (Punches) at 1:59 of round 1.

(Light-Heavyweight Division) Charlie Cosades versus Boogie Knight

Round 1 – The first three minutes of this round belonged to the man with the sick afro: Boogie Knight. He was putting a clinical beat down on Cosades, and even Helen Keller (too soon? Sorry!) could see that Cosades was in trouble. However, at the three minute mark Cosades managed to turn his fortunes around with a much needed takedown, landing in half guard. And, for some reason, Cosades stood back up. And brought the fight to the ground again off of a failed head kick from Knight. And then stood back up. The last minute of the round was all Boogie Knight, who was very well ahead on any competent judge's scorecard.

Round 2 – The first minute was all Boogie Knight; BK landing punches, BK landing head kicks. One minute in, Charlie Cosades put on an old hat as he scored a brilliant takedown into half guard... and then stood up. And then scored another takedown.. and stood back up... and again... and again... and again... and then, Boogie Knight beat the shit out of Cosades for a few minutes. Near the end of the round, Cosades started to wilt under the pressure of the increasingly aggressive slugger. Knight landed a haymaker of an uppercut followed by a right hand as Cosades came in for a takedown. Big victory for Boogie Knight, bad game plan for Charlie Cosades. Boogie Knight def. Charlie Cosades via KO (Punch) at 4:57 of round 2.

[MAIN CARD]

(Lightweight Division) Boreste Bardanos versus Marvin Zerkle

Round 1 – Boreste Bardanos made his way to the cage in his traditional style: banging his head to the screaming rock tune of My Kingdom Will Come; he wearing an imitation straitjacket and a Hannibal Lectar style of mask. Before letting the referee pat him down at the Walhalla Clothing check point, Bardanos's cornerman removed the straight jacket and mask, jumping back away as though Bardanos could bite him. It was a pretty entertaining spectacle all-in-all. Marvin Zerkle was more straightforward; he allowed the Epicity Productions default entrance music to accompany him as he walked with a bland expression on his face.

Boreste Bardanos was indeed like a wildman: he ran across the cage with a lunging body shot, which was easily avoided by Marvin Zerkle, and then dove for his legs as he circled away; Zerkle back pedaled to safety. Bardanos rushed forward with a series of hook punches. Zerkle circled away, and came back in to land a punch of his own... Bardanos met him at the door with a left-right combination that busted Zerkle up. Zerkle went for a takedown of his own... side control for Marvin Zerkle! Bardanos workd his way to half guard, and then to full guard. Bardanos managed to avoid the ground and pound of Marvin Zerkle. Marvin Zerkle stood, acted as though he was going to try to pass the guard, and then flew in with a flying punch from above. Bardanos wrapped his legs around the neck of Zerkle as he came in, showing that his red belt isn't from a mcdojo, and forced the tap! Boreste Bardanos def. Marvin Zerkle via Submission (Triangle Choke) at 1:24 of round 1.

(Middleweight Division) Travis Davies versus Kshitij Singh Negi

Round 1 – Travis Davies clinched early, working the single leg, looking for a takedown right away. Kshitij battered Davies against the cage, landing knees, elbows, and punches. Davies circled away off of a failed takedown but then reversed direction and went back for that single leg against the cage. Singh Negi was happy to oblige him; he went back to battering Davies with knees to the body. Davies was breathing heavily already, which is never a good sign in the opening minute. Davies was also bleeding badly already.

Singh Negi rocked Davies with a knee on the button, and kept battering him for the next few minutes. The two fighters reset when Davies gave up the single leg. Singh Negi immediately clinched again; he obviously liked the way things were going for him against the cage. Travis Davies tried for the next couple of minutes to bring the fight to the ground but Singh Negi has incredible balance and takedown defense... near the end of the opening round, Negi put Davies down with a big knee. Negi went to follow Davies with more strikes but decided not to when he saw that Davies was more or less out. Singh Negi thanked his sponsor, Namunamu Clothing in his victory speech. Kshitij Singh Negi def. Travis Davies via TKO (Knee) at 4:47 of round 1.

(Heavyweight Division) Buster Quinn versus Manchester Red

Round 1 – For the first two minutes of this fight, both guys traded blows, but Quinn was working more heavily to get an uncharacteristic takedown, obviously thinking that he could submit the white belt. Three minutes in, Quinn got his takedown into the guard of Manchester Red, but was incapable of making anything happen. Big first round for Manchester Red.

Round 2 – Buster Quinn had definitely slowed down in this round, but he persisted with his imperfect game plan of getting the fight to the ground at all costs. It became painfully clear that Quinn was ill prepared for this fight as the minutes dragged on and Quinn's hands dipped lower and lower. Manchester Red started to fade in the final minute of the round, and simply settled to play it safe.

Round 3 – This was another huge round for Manchester Red, who managed to avoid any real offense from Quinn, and picked up the pace late in the round to keep the pressure on Quinn. It wasn't the most exciting fight, as Red landed mostly leg kicks, but I didn't personally think that Quinn would have this much trouble in this fight. Manchester Red def. Buster Quinn via Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-26).

[CO-MAIN EVENT]

(Middleweight Division) Walter Black versus George Baba

[Entrance] Walter Black walked to the ring with his head held high, his mouth in a vicious grimace, and his fists clenched at his sides. As the generic Epicity Productions rock riffs ripped through the arena, Walter Black turned to the audience and gave a hard pressed thumb slash against his throat, followed by a thumb down gesture. He jogged around the ring and stopped in his corner, shadowboxing, waiting for his opponent to arrive.

http://i.imgur.com/q8EIvb7.jpg

He wouldn't have to wait long; George Baba entered the room to the melodic symphony that is Nick Phoenix & Thomas J. Bergersen's song 'Heart of Courage'. George Baba was clad in his traditional white Karate gi with black stitched lettering. He smiled as he made his way to the ring. He walked straight to his corner in the ring, and gave a polite bow to his opponent, who simply glared back at him.

The Epicity Productions floor cleaner is a big fan of Bruce Buffer, so we allowed him to do the traditional fighter announcement for this fight.

Bruce “The Floor Buffer” Buffington took the center of the cage as the spot light shone down on him, and screamed into the microphone with a jump and a spin, “It's time! This is the co-main event of the evening! Brought to you by Walhalla... Valhal... Wallahalla Clothing and the Vendetta Alliance... Fighting out of the RED corner... this man is a wrestler with a mixed martial arts record of seven wins and no losses. Standing six feet, two inches tall, and weighing in at one hundred and eighty-five pounds, fighting out of New York, New York... WALTERRRRR BLACK!"

Bruce “The Buffer” Buffington did an insane jump spin maneuver and landed, pointing at the next fighter, "Fighting out of the BLUE corner... this man is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt with a mixed martial arts record of seven wins and one loss. Standing six feet tall and weighing in at one hundred and eighty-five pounds... fighting out of Las Vegas, Nevada, representing TEAM ACME... GEORGE BAAABAAAAA!"

At least one person in the audience was high, tripping balls, and thought this was a UFC card that he somehow went to by mistake.

Round 1 – The two fighters met in the center of the cage as the referee told them to obey his commands. Walter Black was staring George Baba in the face with fury in his eyes. George Baba looked down at his feet with his hands at his hips until the referee asked the fighters to touch gloves. Both men complied and reset in their corners, waiting for the opening bell.

Straight out of the gate, Walter Black cracked George Baba on the nose with a jab that was really more of a left straight. Baba jumped back, wiping the blood from his nose. Black chased with a looping right hand that missed by a mile and George Baba backed him up with a sweeping right hand. George Baba was riding his bicycle early, looking to make Black chase him down; Walter Black complied, giving chase with wild strikes. Walter Black pushed forward with another left hand down the middle; Baba ducked to the side and came over the top with a right hand. The one minute mark passed us by and Black missed with a lunging left hook, allowing Baba to duck under and come over the top with another right.

Black jabbed the nose of Baba, backing the karateka up... that punch may have broken Baba's nose as he was bleeding profusely afterwards. Baba bobbed and weaved like a bobblehead doll, countering his way inside with overhand punches. Two minutes in, Black had backed Baba up against the cage and started swinging wild; Black threw a series of left hands, and when Baba circled right, Black clubbed him with a right hand that staggered him a bit.

As George Baba circled his way inside once again, Walter black teased the left hook and instead threw an overhand right that caught Baba dead on the button; Baba was bobbing to that side when the punch hit, so it amplified the force, putting Baba on his back. Walter Black dove into mount and started dropping those cinderblocks on his face, and the referee wisely stopped the fight. Walter Black is the last man you want tagging you with ground and pound. Walter Black def. George Baba via TKO (Strikes) at 2:06 of round 1.

[MAIN EVENT]

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20150113202340ep.png(Welterweight Division, Championship bout) Lotus Suzinuki© versus Jeremy Smith

[Entrance] The lights turned to a deep shade of red, and spotlights circled the arena as the familiar sounds of Metallica's hit song Enter Sandman played through the venue speakers. By the time the drums had kicked to life, the audience was on their feet, cheering. As the words danced through the room, Jeremy Smith made his way down that long, lonely rode to the cage. He had a steely resolve about him; he looked like an absolute killer as he made his way up the steps and into the cage.

Just as Jeremy Smith was getting settled, pacing back-and-forth across his side of the cage, the lights faded to black. The excitement of the audience was deafening as they screamed for their champion to emerge. The lights started flashing at once as the beat of LL Cool J's Mama Said Knock You Out started playing. “Don't call it a comeback, I been here for years. Rocking my peers, and putting suckas in fear.”

After stepping into the cage, Lotus Suzinuki did the customary jog around the cage, slowing as he passed Jeremy Smith with his middle finger extended.

We allowed Bruce “Buffer Operator” Buffington take the center of the cage one more time to announce the main event. There was a slight delay as somebody spilled a beer and he had to mop the floor first.

As he stood in the center of the cage, Bruce Buffington screamed into the mic, “Iiiiiiiiiiii-iiiiiiiiiii”, he dragged this part on longer than necessary. If anything, it only made the audience feel uncomfortable... “-iiiiiiiiit's TIME! This is the MAAAAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING! Sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, and sponsored by the Wall-holla Clothing Company!

FIGHTING out of the BLUE corner, this man is a boxer with an MMA record of nine wins and four losses. Standing six feet tall and weighing in at one hundred and seventy pounds. Fighting out of Los Angeles, California... this man is the former INSANITY MMA welterweight champion of the woooorld... JEREMY “HANDS OF STONE” SMIIITH!

Bruce “Buffer” Buffington did another spin move, probably the last of his announcing career, and pointed to the champion. The fans erupts in cheers at this gesture.

FIGHTING out of the RED corner... this man is a striker... with a mixed martial record of FOURTEEN WINS and SIX losses, standing six feet tall and weighing in at one hundred and seventy pounds... fighting out of Los Vegas, Nevada, by way of Tokyo, Japan... this man is the REIGNING, DEFENDING, UNDISPUTED EPICITY WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WOOOORLD.... LOTUS SUUUUZINUUUUKIII!

Round 1 - The two world champions met in the center of the cage as the referee gave them their instructions. Both men were talking trash steadily through the referee's commands. However, when the referee asked them to touch gloves, both men extended their hand and they shook. Suzinuki gave Smith a firm nod and both men jogged back to their corner, eager to get this thing started.

http://i.imgur.com/W8g5rBJ.jpg

Tonight's fights are brought to you by Walhalla Clothing, the best damned clothing company in Las Vegas, Nevada.

When the referee yelled “FIGHT!” both men ran to the center of the cage, squaring up with very little distance between them. They tapped gloves briefly and Smith pumped the jab, cracking Suzinuki right on the nose. Suzinuki tried to answer with a multi-punch combination, but Smith showed that old boxing head movement and avoided every blow. Smith lunged forward with a wild combination of his own, which was easily avoided by the champion.

Over the course of the next minute, the two warriors traded power leg kicks with neither man backing up... it was almost like they were challenging each other to take the next leg kick, and neither man was willing to accede from the center of the ring. Interestingly enough, in the countdown show we learned that both men had trained their wrestling to prepare from this fight. Two minutes into the fight, Jeremy Smith closed the distance and pushed the reigning Champion against the cage; Suzinuki immediately tripped Smith to the ground, landing in his guard. Jeremy Smith managed to hang on and minimize the damage of the Champion's ground n pound but some seriously heavy punches landed before the referee stood them back up.

The two men went back to trading power leg kicks. Occasionally one would mix in some punching combinations, but very little was landing in that department. As the horn announced the end of the round, Suzinuki landed a hard punch to the midsection of Smith that backed the Challenger up, and forced him to take a big, deep breath. Both men jogged back to their corner and neither man took to his stool as they waited for the second round to commence.

Round 2 – Interestingly enough, in spite of the takedown in the first round, our ringside judge is telling us that Smith may have taken that first round with proper technique. Jeremy Smith pushed forward hard to start this round, throwing way more than he was landing, however it was putting Suzinuki on the defensive. Suzinuki ate a hard straight right hand and immediately dove for the legs of Smith, trying to get a takedown to recover from the blow. Smith stuffed the takedown and caught Suzinuki with a body shot as he scrambled to his feet. Suzinuki responded with a body shot of his own.

Smith started moving in-and-out, landing one big punch, and darting out of range. Suzinuki tried to time his movements to land a body shot, missed, and got clocked with a shot to his own body for his trouble. Two minutes into the second round, Smith landed a couple of beautiful head kicks before going back to the legs and body of the reigning champion. By the three minute mark, both men had relt welts forming on their legs and stomachs, and both were starting to wince and grimace whenever another shot would land on the mark.

By the end of the round, Suzinuki had seemed to find his range and was starting to time the movements of Smith; he was landing with that head kick, and keeping him guessing with a steady flow of leg kicks. Jeremy Smith couldn't gauge effectively if Suzinuki was going high or low with his shots, and it made him hesitate to dart in with a punch. Both men were landing leg kicks from afar as the buzzer sounded, ending the round. This time, both men sat on their stool. They were both starting to feel the effects of the strikes landed.

Round 3 – Our ringside judge friend informed us that he had Jeremy Smith up two rounds to nothing; if he could win this round and simply survive the final two, we would have a new champion. Suzinuki pushed forward straight out of the gate... and landed face-first on a left jab from Jeremy Smith. The Champion responded by going to the body of Smith. Smith tried to answer with his own body shot, but missed by a mile.

As Smith went back into his pattern of get in, land a punch or leg kick, and get out, Suzinuki started to time him again... the Champion even let Smith land some shots without answering. Suzinuki did land with a decent looping left hand that seemed to stun Smith, but both men kept striking. Suzinuki missed with a body shot and ate a few leg kicks. Suzinuki tried to time Smith with a head kick, but Smith ducked under and clinched him against the cage. Smith tried to go for a shovel hook to the body, and the champion responded with an uppercut to the body of Smith. Jeremy Smith opted to disengage from the clinch and circle again.

Jeremy Smith started effectively darting in, landing, and darting out again... on one such occurrence, Suzinuki met him halfway with a jab. As Smith leaned left to avoid the jab, Suzinuki came up high with his right leg, smacking Jeremy Smith right on the temple. Jeremy Smith bounced back on rubbery legs as Lotus Suzinuki chased him with punches... Jeremy Smith backed into the cage and Lotus Suzinuki caught him with an overhand right that made the legs of Smith buckle. The Champion stood over Smith, raining down punches, and the referee dove between them to stop the fight. Bruce “The Bufferman” Buffington shoved his way into the cage to give the official announcement, “Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at two minutes and fourteen seconds of the third round, declaring the winner by TKO and STILL CHAMPION... LOTUS SUUUZINUUUKI!
