K-1 Lightweight Grand Prix

K-1 Global is a new KT organisation based in Helsinki and we're currently looking for new fighters. To get our roster going, we've decided to start off with a Lightweight creation tournament, which is a bit untraditional. 8 best Lightweight prospects will be split into two teams. Each team will have it's coach: this Season the coaches are two widely recognised Welterweight kickboxers: Antonio Laborina Lim and Pat "HD" Barry.

Every fighter will have to fight every other fighter from the opposite team. 4 kickboxers with most points advance to the next round - Single Elimination part of the tourney, where 2 winners will compete in the Finale for 200000$ (maybe more if we'll attract sponsors, 100000$ sponsored by Mr.J) and a Hall of Fame spot.

Points system:

+ 4 points for Decision win.

- 4 points for any kind of Loss.

+ 6 points for KO/TKO win.

+ 2 points for both fighters in a Draw.

The coaches are here to select the teams, the matchups, and give you overall advice about training your project and adjusting the gameplan.

Also, we're really looking for sponsors, so If you would help us financially, we would be very grateful! If you have, for example, a clothing or nutrition company, we could advertise it in this tournament!

Signup here in this thread, and if I forgot to say something and you've got any questions, just ask! Let's start competing and resurrect the KT part of Tycoon!

Hey guys I also forgot to mention - the fighters must be not older than 18.

Also, the fights will occur in the Ring, all fights will be 3-5 minute rounds. The difference between the ring and the cage is, that cage advantages wrestlers (clinch guys in KT) in clinch control a bit. Ring makes it a bit easier to escape the clinch, so clinch fighters should be pretty good at entering the clinch as well :)
