04/06/2016 : the day that Boagrius will crumble under a well placed clean shot of mine.

Wonderboy is going to fall flat on his face when he feels Irish firepower.

Crumbled? I went to sleep because I was bored...

You'll soon enough see that an Irish fighter can determine the terms of a fight.

I can decide when it's sleepy time and for who.

The only thing that can stop us is gass, body gass, because of the terrible smell...

You seem like a fart, so might be dangerous...

Talk all you want, the end result will still be the same: sleep time for Conrad in the first round.

Depends on how bored I get during the fight.

You are clearly on roids, so who knows, maybe you hit hard and it can be fun...

PS: Why do you look so mad? Smile and enjoy life dude.

Let us try again to make you get a nice picture of yourself. Ready...?

I don't smile as I'm all about business, I go in and I come out with my opponent on a shoulder to rush him to the hospital. And man one more thing, are you kidding me ? With that body you can't even impress me, let alone scare me. Nobody in this world can impress me so don't be bothered by that. I asked my manager to invite you into the jet so we both have the same conditions and no escuses.

Or is it because a cactus is stuck in your anus....?

My dick alone is worth more than it's weight in gold, let alone the rest of my body. I'm too damn awesome for you dude, don't forget that. My manager won't be ringside as he is going to play birthdayboy, but the plan is set in stone and I'm ready to go!

Welcome Generation fans to the preview for G #22 Dufu vs. Ford!

Main Card:

Marcus Beck vs Roger Frost

Marcus “Slick” Beck is a newcomer to Generation. He started his career with GAMMA Butt-stompers where he successfully stomped four butts before moving to King of the Beach where he split his last two fights. If you are following along, that is a 4-1 overall record overall and he has yet to fight in Generation.
Marcus is said to have a good gas tank and he seems to prefer the ground game where he spends a lot of time when he is winning fights with ground and pound. I have heard some even go as far as calling him Slick on the ground.

Roger “Snowman” Frost also comes to Generation from King of the Beach. The trend may be due to the closing of KOTB which was also a 270K org. It also may be that people are starting to choose London weather over Rio, but hey who am I to tell?
Frost started in the unfortunately named Gods Fight Club, which is shockingly also closed. Sensing a now wide open market for religiously named clubs devoted to beating men senseless he then fought for Divinity, but anyway enough on poorly named fight organizations…
Frost comes in with a 4-2 record and is likes to use his Muay Thai skills to fight in the clinch. Frost hasn’t spent a lot of time on the ground but has shown his own ground and pound ability when the fight does go there. His clinch style should be fairly comfortable in a wrestling match.

Verner Stolt vs Farouk Al Ahwei

Hey, I am new, but sensing a connection…Stolt also comes to us from King of the Beach. Where he fought his last two fights. He started his career with the more bluntly named Slaughterhouse FC. He went 2-1 at Slaughterhouse in Las Vegas before moving to Rio and KOTB. He comes to Generation with a 5-2 overall record.
Stolt is a very skilled Muay Thai fighter who likes to combine his kicks and punches from the standup. He is also very comfortable in the clinch, but has not spent much time fighting on the ground in his career.

Farouk arrives in Generation from Victory! Combat League in New York where he split his last two fights. He started his career in New York with the East Coast Championships where he had went 2-0. Overall, Farouk has a 3-2 career record.
Farouk is a well-rounded fighter who seems able to hold his own wherever the fight goes. Farouk is not a softy trading shots in standup, but he likes to take the fight to the ground where he has been successful using his BJJ to get submissions.
This fight may come down to which fighter can force their will to keep the fight standing or tied in a little knot on the ground, but hey, what do I know?

Ouje Bougoumou vs Beezow Doo-Doo Zopitty-Bop-Bop-Bop

Chief Bougoumou comes to Generation with from MMAHelsinki where he was the lightweight title holder winning the title in only his second career fight. Surprisingly, he began his career with KOTB where he won his first professional fight. Chief has yet to be tested with all of his three wins coming in the first round. It will be interesting to see how he responds if when he finally faces a real test.
Chief is a well-rounded fighter who dispatched his first victim by submission after an impressive takedown. He showed boxing skills by knocking out his next opponent in 21 seconds…or did he simply face a glass jaw? For good measure he won his third fight in the clinch to show that he can get it done wherever the fight may go. His first three fights showed an impressive array of skills, but can Beezow put him on the defensive?

Beezow actually fought his entire career in KOTB before signing with Generation compiling an impressive 7-2 record. He has worked his way up the card with past victories over both Frost and Beck back in KOTB (Hey, all this time and not one KNOTB joke..yes I have restraint.)
Both of his losses have come by submission, but one of those was in his first career fight. Beezow is comfortable fighting in standup or the clinch, but he prefers to keep the fight from going to the ground that he has done well in most of his fights. Beezow
This is a match-up of two young fighters on the rise. Will Beezow be able to hand Chief his first loss?

Lightweight Title - Herger Ysengrin vs Dag Daghammar

Dag Daghammar is another import from KOTB who was the undefeated lightweight champ with wins over Verner Stolt in his last title defense. Daghammar earned his shot at the Generation Lightweight title with four successful title defenses of his KOTB belt on the way to a perfect 9-0 record.
Daghammar has won eight of his nine fights by knockout and has not spent much time on the ground. When he did end up on the ground against Victor
Estima, Dag was able to get the fight back to standing without much trouble.

Ysengrin is the first name on this fight card already familiar to Generation fans. He won the lightweight title at G #15 and his last fight was a win in ITFL 2.2. Ysengrin has shown a goo mix of standup and ground game in his past fights.
Ysengrin has done well in both stand-up and clinch while also scoring takedowns and showing ground and pound ability. He has won by pounding out his opponent on the ground, but his only career loss came that way in his second fight. Still I would look for his impressive takedown ability to play a role in this fight.

Main Event – Tupa Dufu vs Alan Ford

Dufu is a veteran fighter that makes his Generation debut in his 19th career fight. He started his post-QFC career on the Island before signing with Rio Chain Gang. He lost his two shots at the Welterweight title in Rio, but comes to Generation fresh off a win over Chevie Case which avenged an earlier loss.

Dufu likes to take the fight to the clinch and prefers to stay on his feet. While he lost to Case by submission Dufu was able to survive a few takedowns in the rematch to keep the fight off the ground for most of the fight.
Alan Ford is another Rio import also coming from KOTB. He is a veteran of 15 career fights at only 22, and is coming off a three round decision victory in his last fight.

Ford is also known to take the fight to the clinch and while he also seems to prefer to stay on his feet, he has been known to score a takedown if the opportunity is there. Two of his last three losses have been by submission, but that is unlikely to be a factor against Dufu. Against a ground specialist Ford is likely to fight to stay on his feet, but it will be interesting to see if he tries to take Dufu down.

Nice fight. You actually earned my respect after this one. It was a tough fight, but you took most of my shots and still came for more. Not a lot of guys can take half of the punishment and that shows your heart. Train well and you'll be a great challange for the future as well.

Hello to everybody in MMA. Were back for another edition of ICON Interviews with one of the most exciting prospects in the game today. He was the last champion of Rio Chain Gang at 170lb; he has recently signed with highly rated London organisation Generation. He is coming to us today out of the ICON Alliance, Prince Yngve Stolt.

http://s5.postimg.org/i2dv6xe9f/image.jpg

"Prince" Yngve Stolt

CM: Yngve; you recently left the organisation in which you made your name, Rio Chain Gang. Obviously the organisation closed, but was there a chance you would have left anyway? You seemed to be finding it pretty easy there?

Stolt: I cleaned out the whole division and I did it with class and style and i were never threatened once. I had nothing more to prove at RCG. I needed a change of environment and some new arses to kick so the break up with RCG would have happened eventually.

CM: You certainly did that sir, if you dont mind me asking; what actually happened with the organisation? It seems to have been kept under wraps, were you told anything about why it was closed?

Stolt: The owner Alan Maynard had some problems and ended up in the hospital and that's the last thing anybody heard from him. I hope he's alright I really liked the guy, one of the nicest guys in Tycoon MMA.

CM: Im very sorry to hear that; it really is a shame. We hope he gets well soon. So youre now signed with Generation. They are gaining a reputation as a pretty fast growing org, and for that logo of theirs. What are your thoughts on them and the next chapter of your career?

Stolt: Dale Mac has done a very good job with Generation, it is a well-run organisation packed with great talent and whooping all that talent will bring me closer to my ultimate goal, to become the best fighter in the world.

CM: Out of the people in your division; who would you like your first fight in the org to be?

Stolt: Of course David Marvin the current Generation champ he's wearing my belt. Parker Allen is also someone I would love to whoop. He is the former KOTB champ and to whoop those guys arses would sort of unify all 3 belts and would separate greatness from talent.

CM: Well then I guess we have ourselves a callout; David Marvin is undefeated just like you; so somebodys 0 would have to go, is being undefeated a big deal to you? Would you like to retire undefeated? Or do you believe that great fighters must have losses in order to fulfil their potential?

Stolt: Having a 0 on my record is nice to look at but nothing more. I don't care about the number 0 the only number that matters to me is to become number 1.

CM: An interesting story as well; in your bio there is talk of an ancient prophecy of somebody who will pretty much take over and dominate MMA for years to come; is it true that you met with some sort of soothsayer who has told you that you are this man? If this is true; does being part of an urban legend put extra pressure on your career?

Stolt: When I were a kid my father did take me to see the oracle in Delfi. The Oracle told me that my destiny were written in stars a long time ago and it cant be changed.

I am the crown Prince of Tycoon and one day I will be king. Knowing that I will be the greatest fighter of all time only keeps me focused on fulfilling my destiny.

CM: My phone is blowing up. Social media is going wild! It seems that you; Yngve Stolt have been matched up with none other than David Marvin himself! Youll be fighting for the Welterweight Championship in your debut at Generation. Describe your emotions right now

Stolt: I'm so psyched about this fight. David Marvin is a very dangerous opponent with a solid ground game. It's the biggest fight in my career so far and Im going to bring some fireworks to introduce myself to the Generation fans.

CM: So on an immediate reaction to this matchup; have you seen any particular areas in Marvins game that you think you can exploit? Or is it too hard to tell?

Stolt: I'm sure that Marvin doesn't want to stand up and fight. He knows that he wouldn't survive the first round banging with me. He will try to take this fight to the ground to try to submit me. Im not afraid to roll with him, if he manage to take me down then I get a great opportunity to show my grappling skills and he better hold on tight to he's arm or I will take it as a souvenir.

CM: There is a growing perception that could stand with almost anyone in the world at your weight class. What do you think of that notion? And is your focus now shifting to the grappling side of the game at all?

Stolt: If Im standing I am a nightmare to every living creature standing in my way to become who I was born to be, and that's where I want to be with my grappling as well.

CM: You are obviously still quite young. Out of the fighters youve seen compete; who would be a dream fight for you when you make it to the top of the game? Who would be somebody you would love to compete against?

Stolt: It doesn't matter to me, they are all the same but with different faces and different names. When I'm in that cage it's all about me. Its me against myself. I know I can get in there and perform and its up to me to do it.

CM: Awesome, ok so lets wrap this up; what is your prediction for the big fight between you and David Marvin? And what is next for you after this fight?

Stolt: I'll turn the lights out for Marvin in the fourth round and send him to Neverland.

And what's next for me after this fight, Celebration and after Party of course. Then a certain Parker will get my attention.

CM: Yngve thank you so much for joining us, its been another fantastic edition of ICON Interviews. Big words from the former RCG champ; we better hope David Marvin and co are ready for this man.

Thank you to everybody for joining us on a superb edition of ICON Interviews. Make sure you tune in to G #24 on 18th June, only on Pay per View, to see this rising star in action. Ive been Chael Mir and I bid you goodbye until next time. As always; if you want an interview for your fighter; contact myself; Steel Penn, or Justin Credible at Steel Penn ICON to book an interview for your fighter on ICON Interviews.

Hey Dale, here's my review for the recent event.

G #21 BOAGRIUS vs MCGILLICUTTY Review

Taking place in London on June 4th, 2016, G #21 was held by the GENERATION 270K ID organization in the Camden Conference Centre. It featured 10 fights, with its main event being a 265+ lbs. title fight.

How Everything Went Down

Vitor Nogueira vs Adam Bastien

Starting off the event was a 145 lbs. fight between Bastien and Nogueira. The two fighters started the night off in a big way by going the distance. The two fighters seemed to have very opposite tactics in the fight. Nogueira seemed to be trying to stay as close to Bastien as he could by going for takedowns and clinches galore every round. Bastien, primarily being a boxer, did his best to keep the fight standing up, not going for clinches or takedowns really until the third round. Bastien, being aggressive throughout the fight and able to consistently block Nogueira’s attempts to clinch or go to the ground, kept the majority of the fight in his comfort zone which allowed to him to dominate Nogueira throughout and easily get the victory via unanimous decision.

Ely Scrubs vs Taiga Jim

With both competitors having very strong boxing, it was no surprise to see almost the entire fight be fought in the standup. On paper, the fighters almost look like clones of each other, having very similar stats. From bell to bell, this fight was a straight up slugfest. The two exchanged punches and kicks basically the entire time. Jim’s tactic was to be aggressive and attack Scrubs’ legs. This did pay off, causing Scrubs to develop a limp early in the second round. Scrubs’ motto seemed to be quality over quantity, as he didn’t go for nearly the amount of strikes that Jim did but made each strike he did land count. This led him to a victory. He let Jim tire himself out and then attacked. Late in the second round, he connected with a strong punch which led to a rocked Jim. He proceeded to knock Jim to the ground and finish the fight with a flurry of punches from mount with only seven seconds left to go in the round.

Conor The Highlander vs Canis Majoris

Majoris came into this fight with an advantage over The Highlander in every fight style except BJJ, with The Highlander holding a black belt compared to Majoris’ brown belt, and boxing, with the two fighters being equal in that category. That being said, it was no surprise to see The Highlander be the aggressor, trying to compensate for his disadvantages by attacking early and trying to land as much damage as he could. Although he didn’t come out victorious, the tactic did work in a way. After two and four-fifths rounds of mostly going toe-to-toe in the standup game, he managed to rock Majoris and it looked like The Highlander might pull off the upset win. However, Majoris stayed with the tactic he had been using the entire fight: Absorb and use opportunities when you can. Majoris saw an opportunity to get into a better position and did, pulling off a sweep to put the Highlander on the bottom and put himself in mount to limit damage coming towards him. In the end, Majoris’ countering and dodging abilities paid off as he was awarded the unanimous decision victory.

Drei Silker vs Lee Murray

The first round of this fight seemed to be an opportunity that each fighter took to feel each other out. It wasn’t until about two minutes and thirty seconds in that either fighter made an attempt to go away from the standup. Murray went for a clinch then that ended up working in Silker’s favor as he was able to secure a takedown from there. Soon after, Silker showed off his BJJ skills by going for a triangle hold twice in rapid succession. Murray escaped both attempts and the round ended.

Murray started the second round by immediately clinching with Silker, which was odd considering he had just been taken down and almost submitted from the clinch just minutes ago. Silker broke the clinch but Murray followed up with another just seconds later. Once again, Silker made Murray pay for clinching by gaining the upper hand and once again taking the fight to the ground. It seemed like déjà vu of the first round as Silker wasted no time going for submission attempts on Murray. On the seventh attempt, Silker’s persistency paid off as he was able to lock in an armbar from guard and, due to all the damage had inflicted earlier, make Murray finally tap at 3:59 of the second round.

Annakin Drako vs Marv Miller

Although my job is to write a review of this, I can’t help but insert my own opinion into this. Drako was severely outmatched from the start. It was as if whoever set up this match had a score to settle with Drako and put him in an unwinnable match for revenge. I’ll explain. For stats, Drako had ratings of 5 for boxing, 4 for muay thai, 9 for wrestling, and a BJJ brown belt. Miller ratings were a 10 for boxing, 6 for muay thai, 14 for wrestling, and a BJJ purple belt. Drako had a small advantage in the BJJ category but was grossly outmatched in all others. He was not given a fair chance. Now on to the review.

Miller started the fight by going to the ground to fight with BJJ which must have been baffling to everyone as that was the one category he was outmatched in. Now in his comfort zone, Drako wasted no time getting to a dominant position with a good reversal. After about a minute of stalling and missing punches, Drako decided to try submissions. He attempted submissions with intervals of strikes in between each until the end of the round.

At the start of the second round, it didn’t take long to see Miller boxing skills come into play, as he cut Drako’s head with the first punch he threw. The moment Miller saw blood, he didn’t look back. He continued to attack the head with punch after punch. Drako tried to stop the onslaught by attempting takedowns three times, failing each time. With Drako tired and cut and Miller with seemingly unstoppable momentum, it was obvious how the fight was going to end. Miller connected with a massive punch to the head which was enough for the ref to stop the fight a minute and 56 seconds into the second round for the sake of Drako’s well being.

Charles Vane vs Dylan Todd

This fight was almost over before it even began. Within the first few seconds of the fight, Vane landed a hard left that cut Todd open. Todd attempted to limit the damage going forward by clinching with Vane twice but was quickly pushed away both times. Woth Vane’s boxing skills being extremely better than Todd’s, it didn’t take long for Vane to rock Todd and eventually score the KO victory just a minute and 17 seconds into the fight.

William Holbert vs Anthony Bourdain

The first strike thrown in this fight cut Holbert open, which obviously gave him a disadvantage going forward. From then on, the fight was fought mainly in the clinch against the cage with both men showing off their muay thai and boxing abilities. Bourdain, being the better of the two in muay thai, dominated in round one, trying to soften up Holbert for more punishment in the second round.

With the bell signaling for the start of round two, Bourdain looked to pick up right where he left off. He immediately went after Holbert with a body kick and head punch. That was all that would be needed to end the fight as Holbert hit the ground just 10 seconds into the round. Bourdain easily picked up the KO win.

Eugene Gael vs Sameh Mahmoud

Gael managed to cur Mahmoud about 30 seconds into the fight but couldn’t capitalize as Moahmoud was able to clinch to avoid more severe damage. Gael eventually broke the clinch but not before receiving some damage from Mahmoud. The last three minutes of the fight were mostly fought in the standup with Mahmoud making the bigger impact of the two fighters on the first round.

Gael started the second round with a clinch but broke it about 45 seconds later after not having much success. Mahmoud scored a takedown about two minutes in but was tood up by the ref about two minutes and 30 seconds later after not doing much but controlling position and stalling. After the standup, Mahmoud scored another takedown but with barely anytime left in the round, he wasn’t able to really do much but get points on the scorecards from it.

With round three, Mahmoud immediately went back to the ground. Gael decided to try some BJJ with 4 submission attempts from guard but with each to no avail. A standup from the ref was short lived as Mahmoud went right back to the ground with another takedown. Gael managed a reversal at the very end of the round but couldn’t do anything from the top before the bell.

With his great wrestling and clinch and ability to control the fight, Mahmoud easily picked up the win by unanimous decision.

Troy Kirkland vs Walter Kurtz

Kirkland wasted no time starting the fight by clinching with Kurtz. Kurtz was able to break the clinch less than a minute later and score a takedown but couldn’t do anything as they were stood up by the ref shortly after. Kirkland managed to get a cut on Kurtz and move into another clinch but was quickly broken up by Kurtz like last time. The judges gave the first round to Kurtz.

The first half of the second round was very similar to the first with a series of clinches and breaks. Kurtz got even with Kirkland by cutting him about a minute and 30 seconds in. the second half was fought completely from the standup with Kurtz using his advantage in the boxing department to deal as much damage to Kurtz as possible.

More clinches came in the third round at a pretty steady rate. Kurtz being the more skilled of the two fighters once again had no problem in outdoing Kirkland.

Solid performances in all three rounds impressed the judges enough to reward him the victory via unanimous decision.

Orpheus Boagrius vs Conrad Mcgillicutty

After nine fights, this is what the crows had been looking forward to: The superheavyweight title showdown. Shortly after the start of the fight, Boagrius initiated a clinch with Mcgillicutty. This is where the fight would stay for the rest of the round. While both fighters did well in the clinch, it was Boagrius’ performance with repeatedly landing good punches that stood out among the commentators.

After dominating the first round, Boagrius came out swinging with and knocked down Mcgillicutty with his first punch of the second round. Mcgillicutty sprang back up to his feet only to receive another huge punch that cut him. With Mcgillicutty no doubt stunned from the rapid damage he received, Boagrius was persistent in pursuing Mcgillicutty. This all culminated just before four minutes passed when Boagrius landed an uppercut to stun. Despite the massive damage received, Mcgillicutty was once again able to shake off and survive Boagrius’ onslaught. However, this hope in surviving the round would be short lived as Boagrius didn’t let up on his attack and landed a huge right after pushing him against the cage. The ref stopped the fight and Boagrius got the KO victory after 4:20 of the second round.

Overall, the event’s card was full of entertaining fights as the crowd seemed to like it because most of the fights were mainly fought from the standup.

Well, after 15 fights and 2 TWGC grappling contests in 4 (tycoon) years it seems that i was a bit too keen to jump in and make my debut on home soil.

I accepted a fight against a tough opponent and find myself 2 wins out of my last 8 fights. A fall from grace after the highs of holding the KOTB belt.

Take nothing away from my opponent. I came in strong, healthy but the better fighter tonight won. Now to heal up some of those niggling injuries and see where i went wrong. the beauty of a fall from grace is the only way is up. I'll be back!

Generation #23 - Koizumi vs Gasaspo
Main card preview

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1462866204poster%2010.gif

Davie Brophy (9-4-0) vs Anton Newcombe (11-3-0) – 145lbs
Two fighters going opposite directions are meeting to start the main card off. Davie Brophy is one of the original Generation fighters, making his Generation debut at Generation #2. He won the 145lbs title at Generation #3, and defended it twice, but after moving up in weight to fight Mac Donalds, he lost his title. Because of that he's now on a two fight losing streak. The allround fighter from Scotland will look to prove he's still relevant in the 145lbs divisoin.

His opponent, Anton Newcombe is on the upswing. The former champion of Elite Canadian Fighting Championship made his debut in losing fashion against Anton Altair, but after that managed to rack up two wins. A win over the former champion might put the American submission specialist in line a title shot. Brophy has a tricky groundgame though and Newcombe has shown to be beatable once he can't implement his grappling heavy gameplan. We'll see what comes out on top, the championship experience of Brophy, or the momentum of Newcombe.

Cavey Beaumont (6-2-0) vs Lowkie Erwin (7-2-0) – 265+lbs
Next up two very exciting prospects in the SuperHeavyweight division. Cavey Beaumont is making his debut in Generation. The American striker looked very impressive in, the now defunct, Ultimate Proving Grounds, only ever losing in championship fights. The biggest danger in his game are his thunderous headkicks, which he used to knock multiple opponents out cold, including his last win, Charlie Johns. Those kicks are set up by some crisp boxing, including an increddible 74% hit percentage on head strikes.

On the other side whe have the Australian boxer Lowkie Erwin. Lowkie has been doing good for himself since joining the org. Coming in the org of a loss, he managed to attain a three fight win streak, finishing all his fights in the first round. He is a very good puncher, but he might be in over his debt against the wellrounded Beaumont. Erwin never actually attempted a takedown or a kick in his career, and with the kicking game of Beaumont, he most worry not to get stuck at kicking range. We'll see if he can find a way to wade through and work his boxing.

Fred Alsop (16-5-0) vs Anton Altair (9-3-0) – 145lbs
Another fighter making his Generation-debut. Fred Alsop is coming over from the merger with Rio Chain Gang. The 29-year old started his career off at the Island, racking up a 13-3 record there. After that, Rio Chain Gang picked him up eventually getting to challenge champion Badass. For his first fight at Generation the submission artist is returning to the featherweight division, and he'll be looking to make an impact there.

Altair is far from a warm up fight though. The Romanian is a former champion of MMA Gods and challenged for the title against Davie Brophie, coming up in losing fashion in what was one of the best fights of the year so far. Anton is a very accurate striker, hitting 80% of his punches to the head. He compliments that with an accurate lowkicking game and a solid clinchgame. He'll look to make his case for another title shot.

Co-Main Event: Peyton Rudger (12-7-0) vs Vain Celasquez (9-6-0) – 265+lbs

Two of the smaller fighters of the superheavyweight division meet in our co-main event of the night. Peyton Rudger has looked very impressive so far. He made his debut in the org at Generation #10, and after winning two fight got to challenge Boagrius. He couldn't overcome the champion though, and now will be looking to go back to his winning ways.

Vain Celasquez will be looking to do the same. The former Sydney FC champion has gone on a losing streak of two fights when he lost his championship. Vain seems to posess the skill necessary to compete at the top level, but hasn't been able to put everything together yet. His boxing skills don't seem to translate to the cage, hitting only a third of his strikes. His top control is elite level though. Once he's on top of you, it's very hard to get away. Staying there isn't an option either, with his dangerous ground and pound that has led to multiple victories yet.

Main Event: Gunji Koizumi (8-2-0) vs Silvio Gasaspo (5-0-0)185 lbs title
Superfight time! Generation champion Koizumi is taking on the last champion of King of the Beach, Silvio Gasaspo. Koizumi has been on an absolute tear since joining Generation. In his debut he challenged for the 185lbs title, and he hasn't let go of it since. The best part of his game is his increddibly tight rear naked choke which he already defeated four opponents with, including his last challenger, Roderick Solo. To get it to the ground, he prefers to clinch up first with his opponent, and chainwrestle his way, but he can also shoot from the outside. His striking game is quite limited, but do you even need one if you're that dangerous on the ground.

His opponent is the undefeated Silvio Gasaspo. Gasaspo shocked Brazil by defeating Kyrie Perry in his last fight for KOTB. Just like the champion, Gasaspo relies on his submission game. A fighter that relies more on speed than strength, he prefers to avoid the clinch game, unlike the champion. Instead he shoots from the outside. If he gets taken to the clinch he usualy pulls guard, opting to work from the bottom instead of staying standing. Now meeting his match on the ground, one might wonder if he might try to work his improving boxing game. I still think this one will be a very tactical groundfight though.

Linial fights
Our mainevent is also one of the biggest linial unification fights we've seen so far. Four titles will be unified after this fight. The titles at stake are:
Gunji Koizumi vs Silvio Gasaspo
Gunji Koizumi: Generation (185lbs)
Roderick Solo → Gunji Koizumi: Rio Chain Gaing (185lbs)
Silvio Gasaspo: Kotb (185 lbs)
Aeden Declan → Kyrie Perry → Silvio Gassapo: Dignity FC (185 lbs)

Anton "The Assassin" Altair

A well deserved victory. I picked him apart for 15 minutes and I won the decision. I knew his a tough mother****r and I didn't push it too hard, as I didn't want to gas out. Even thou my opponent didn't represent any problem for me, I think the fans enjoyed our fight being a high rated fight.

Iosue Nicu

Ah, I get another shot at the title. I must say I'm not too pleased to fight Blake again, but until his goal is the same as mine, the belt, we will clash to see who gets it. I'm giving him the better chance, but be sure not to deconsider me as I will give it my best.

Generation #24 - Blake vs Nicu

Main Card Preview

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/37/37a1.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14090309923503.jpg

Michael McGuire (5-0-0) vs Desmond Bradley (4-1-0) – 205lbs
Two quite inexperienced guys who both have their roots in Victory Combat League will meet in our first fight of the main card. 20-year old Michael McGuire is an undefeated boxer from the United States. It's being said that his actual strength lies in his kicking game, but to be honest, we haven't seen much of it yet. McGuire has opted to do the most damage from the clinch instead.

His opponent hails from a similar background, but has took his skills another way. Desmond Bradley also comes from a boxing background, but prefers to work at range. From there he mostly headhunts for the killshot. He has in his last fights that his takedown defence still needs work, something that costed him dearly in his last fight against Antoni Koscielski. He won't have to worry about that against McGuire though. Expect this to be a standup war between two VCL-alumni.

Magnus Magnusson (6-1-0) vs Sandu Lungu (9-4-0) – 265lbs
Two former champions meet in the first heavyweight fight of the night. Magnus Magnusson is the last champion of Hustle.mma and is currently on a six fight win streak. He's coming over in the merger with Rio Chain Gang, and will look to make a statement in his first fight for Generation. Magnusson is a physically imposing specimen, having some insane strenght. He packs that strength in everything he does, be it his crushing powerstrikes or his slamming takedowns. He even knocked out his last opponent with a slam.

Sandu Lungu is also making his debut, coming over from King Of The Beach. At KOTB, Lungu was a Hall of Famer and a former Superheavyweight champion. Lately, Lungu hasn't been going so hot though, losing 3 out of his last 4 fights. Lungu prefers to fight in the clinch, something he'll probably be looking for again in this fight. That way he'll have less chance to get hit by one of Magnusson's counters. To get there he combines low kicks and headpunches in his attack. Especially his punches to the head are very accurate and I wouldn't recommend being at the end of one of those.

Aedan Declan (8-1-0) vs Saul Goodman (8-1-0) – 185lbs

Another two fighters making their promotional debut. Aedan Declan comes over from KOTB, where he went 2-1, only losing to Kyrie Perry, who would later end up to be KOTB Middleweight champion. Apart from that, he's also a former Dignety FC champion. The Irish brawler is a kickboxing expert, throwing a lot of kicks to the body and legs every match. He's not the most powerfull striker, but he's very accurate, and will chop anyone up if you don't take the fight to him from the beginning.

Saul Goodman comes over from VCL, where he was the last reiging Middleweight champion. At VCL, he has looked unstoppable and he is now on an eight fight win streak. Goodman has incredible cardio and will probably look to take this fight to the clinch, where he can use his very accurate dirty boxing to grind down his opponent. He's no fish out of the water at range though. Goodman posesses some impressive boxing skills. His lack of a kicking game could put him in trouble against Declan though.

David C. Marvin (12-0-0) vs Yngve Stolt (8-0-0) – 170lbs title
Champion vs Champion, Undefeated vs Undefeated! We got ourself a fight here ladies and gentleman! David C. Marvin is a Generation original, making his promotional debut at Generation #1. We've all seen him so often, I barely have to explain what the game of this young man is. The comic-book loving fighter is a submission ace, highly trained in BJJ. He also has the wrestling game to match that, hitting 40% of his takedowns. That nummer might not seem that impressive, but when you combine that with the fact that he barely throws any strikes, that number gets much more impressive. If you're on the ground, your night is basically over; Marvin will relentelesly spam submission attempts until you give in.

Former and last reigning Rio Chain Gang champ Yngve Stolt does not believe in the onedimensional attack of his opponent. He adapts to the weaknesses of his opponent. He can fight both at range and in the clinch, although he has shown a slight preference for the former. There he unloads with highly precise strikes, both kicks and punches. He's also a BJJ brown belt, a skill he mostly uses defensive, but can be used offensive too, judging from his armbar win against Kristian Michels. Still, he'll look to let this one stay on the feet, because no one will want to get into a scrambling battle with Marvin.

Jake Blake (10-0-0) vs Iosue Nicu (13-2-0) – 205lbs title

Last but not least, a rematch for the Light Heavyweight title between challenger Iosue Nicu and undefeated champion Jake Blake. The Brazilian striker is going into his sixth title fight already. Blake isn't the most technical figher in the world, but he swings with devestating power and comes forward with ruthless agression. Blake is at his most dangerous in the second round, where lately everyone of his opponent has seemed to wilth under his relentless pressure.

Iosue Nicu might be the fighter who has performed the best against Blake though. The Romanian kickboxer actually managed to steal the first round in their last fight with a headkick that almost knocked Blake out, but couldn't finish it before the bell, and couldn't follow the champ in the second round. While Nicu might be one of the most talented strikers in the division, he has shown a tendecy to get in brawls that don't favour him, something he should avoid against the more powerfull Blake. I hope for him that his head is in the right place, because he didn't show much confidence in his chances for his fight. Let's hope it's a plot to paint himself as the underdog.

Great preview, and don't worry I will give it all. I was not underselling myself, only reconize that Blake is the favorite, being an great warrior. Either way if I didn't think I will have a chance I wouldn't accept the fight. I rocked him the first time, and show that he's not unbreakable.
