GBK16
And so it begins... Squad in full Got a large squad, so hopefully we will see a lot of playing time spread out. Like I said before, I will be giving the older players a chance more in the first few seasons, since the young players will become more prominent as we move up the leagues. I'll be doing (In Game) monthly updates with a review on who the top performers and such were, and just little tidbits which some people might find interesting. Captains and such are still to be decided, and all that info will be in the first monthly update. With the team we have, and with a bit of luck from our Youth System, I am hoping we won't have to sign any players for the team in order to keep it as Tycoon like as possible. In our Youth Intake, we will obviously have random players, so I will be up for suggestions on what to change their names to in order to keep it Tycoon-like (So suggest either a manager who would like to be involved or maybe even a big fighter). Oh and just so people know. Teams don't actually give out Squad Numbers until we are in League 2, so that will be the third season at earliest, so that's when you will see your player assigned to your favourite number. Obviously a lot of people wanted the same number, so I tried assigning people to a close or similar number if they didn't get their first choice.

GBK16
First monthly update now, and a few bits to get through that some might be interested in. First meeting with assistant manager Torrelio Sacana was a success, with the foundation being set for the new manager to get to know his backroom staff. Following on from that was a Team Meeting where the new manager got to meet his players for the first time, and expectations could be set for the season. With Tycoon F.C. being hotly tipped as one of the favourites for promotion, there was only one expectation in mind Shortly after. the new manager would face the media for the first time, where he faced questions about his plans for the team and the staff, his relationship with the chairman, and also how he felt to be managing the club as one of it's biggest fans Now, for the friendlies I had it set for Torrelio Sacana to manage the team for it, simply as friendlies can be pretty meh as they don't mean much and it's all about the players getting fitness and identifying who the best players are. First match against Faversham happened, and it went like this Dean Sutherland picked up the MOTM award following a commanding performance in Midfield, while the winner came through Leland Everett as he latched onto a Bwang Tornados cross to give Tycoon F.C. the win. Another friendly followed shortly after, this time against Didcot This time it was Mikhail Minkov dictating the game as he picked up the MOTM award, with Mike Tycoon and Bwang Tornados scoring their first goals for the team. Shortly thereafter, it was identified that Tycoon F.C. needed a physio, and quite pronto. Many candidates were considered, but there was only one choice in the end. It could backfire horrendously, as the potential for a mysterious string of groin injuries is there, but Tycoon F.C. were delighted to announce their new Head Physio - former Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro Odds were then released for the bookmaker's favourites for the title With Tycoon F.C. being made 2nd favourites, the pressure is on to prove themselves to be the best team in the league, as they look to come flying out of the blocks. It was then another friendly match for The Keyboard Warriors, this time against Cray Wanderers, and it went like this 4 goals and a MOTM award saw Grant Brophy lead his team to victory, while Dean Sutherland saw yellow late on with reports indicating there was a threat to throw the victim in a wheelie bin and push him into a river, but these are unconfirmed so far. Last bit of news came at the beginning of the month as the manager had his monthly meeting with his staff, and they recommended that in order for them to get the time they need, three players should go out on loan; With such a large squad, there may well be more players sent out on loan, and we can expect that there will be reports on their performances should they go.

GBK16
Can we get a squad formation after each match just like FM 2015?Im curious to know who plays and who doesn't. If it's something that people would love to see then I have no problem including it in the monthly updates. I am trying to get some decent rotation going, and it's worked out pretty well, but some positions are more stacked than others so proving to be a bit of a challenge
clydebankblitz
Awesome updates so far. I reckon TS is right in that we're all selfish cbombs who just want to read about our own guys haha. I'm not sure if FM is anything like FIFA but does it have a "form" page? That way you could throw up the basic stats of each fighter at the end of each month.

Yeah there are customisable tabs on the "Team" screen so I can put in the stats people will be more interested in like Appearances, Goals, Assists, Cards, MOTM awards, and other things like shooting accuracy, passing accuracy and tackling accuracy.
GBK16
Team Captains have been decided, with the recommendations coming from assistant manager Torrelio Sacana. Moving forward, we had our first game of the Vanarama South campaign as we took on Maidenhead United away Great result to get us off the mark and it resulted in: Fast forward to our next match against Weston-Super-Mare and it was more celebrations for The Keyboard Warriors A historic day would then happen, with Jack Robinson becoming the youngest player every in the history of the division But it was all smiles the week after, with Tycoon F.C. picking up another win to keep their fine form going CONTINUED IN THE NEXT POST
GBK16
Following on the month, Tycoon F.C. enjoyed another home match, this time taking on Hemel Hempstead Town Our last match saw us go up against Whitehawk, who people felt would be a tough challenge in the Pre-Match analysis, but it didn't look like that in the match And after that great run of results, it was no surprise to see the results of the Team of the Week filled with Tycoon players, and even though no Tycoon players won in the Of The Month awards, it was a good result for the Tycoon F.C. manager
ArtieBanks
Nice to see that I am picking up bookings, and no it wasn't to put him into a wheelie bin. I however threatened him that i was going to John Terry his wife and sister at the same time.

clydebankblitz
I'm out here scoring from the wing and getting man of the match whenever I play and damn staff are leaving me on the reserves!!!! Loving it. Good work mate. This is insanely easier than when I did a write up of my LMA 2004 save which was insanely hard to put together. Funny enough, I played you in an FA Cup game just now and you got injured for the next 3-4 weeks. Enjoy your time with Eva Carneiro I'll probably do a bi-monthly update for the first couple of seasons since they are absolutely loaded with games. I'll show the Schedule which has the results along with the goalscorers and I'll throw up screenshots of the stats for the games.

GBK16
So we got to another update, this time it's a bit streamlined as I wanna try to get through the first two seasons asap in order to see us rubbing shoulders with the world's best as soon as we can. Here are the results for both September and October, along with the goalscorers. And following on from that, here are the ratings for each match in order from top to bottom vs Gosport vs Bath vs Wealdstone vs Oxford City vs Maidstone vs Methyr T (FA Cup) vs Bishop's Stortford (I accidentally went to the match before adding Subs) vs Truro vs Wealdstone (FA Cup)
GBK16
vs Havant & Waterlooville vs Chelmsford vs Cheltenham vs Dartford vs St. Albans Now, with all the Match news out of the way, got some news regarding Tycoon F.C. in the media Firstly, the Tycoon F.C. manager scooped the Manager of the Month award, not only for September... but for October as well! This means that so far the Tycoon F.C. boss has won the award every month so far, and with good reason as his Tycoon F.C. side are currently top of the table with a gap becoming ever larger between them and their competitors, but it wasn't just the manager receiving the plaudits as.. With Tycoon F.C. players being snubbed for the September awards, Rory Daly stepped up and took home the October award with some fantastic performances since anchoring the Attacking Midfield position over the month. The press also had their say on the Tycoon F.C. manager's journey so far with the team! That's all for this update, with not much happening apart from matches. Next update will come after January, as we will look back on all the matches, and the Transfer Window which should be a boring one.
