Linius Lindeberg answers to journalists about what life on the island looks like :

"Rather cool! No matter the direction i look, there are nice ass everywhere. There are some that deserve a good look or more. On the beach for instance. And there are some that deserve a good kick. Or more. The only thing is that i still havn't decided in which category stays Jason Lee"

Lindebert answering to a journalist :

"-Linius, you have the reputation of being a bad boy? Tell us more about it.

-That's all bullshit, man. Your fucking journalists have written i was nasty with other guys. The reason is that you guys don't know how generous i am. Yeah man, i am a kind and generous person. Yesterday for exemple, when i heard that there was this souscription to get to Jason Lee some new clothes, i sent him a 5 dollar note straight away. What, you didn't know about that? That's true, man...It's human nature, man... Since he understood he would have to face me in the octogon, he hasn't stopped shitting in his pans."

Highland Island 19

12th March
Hard Knocks (3,000)

Highland Island returns to Hard Knocks to give the Island fans a cracker of a show. Headlining is 205 champion Skip Gordon looking to defend his title for the 2nd time against all rounder Alonzo Harris. The card is dominated by fights happening in the 205 division, so I can guess that the next challenger to the LHW title is fighting on the card.

Skip Gordon vs. Alonzo Harris – 205lbs TITLE FIGHT

Gordon is looking to cement his claim as one of the best Island fighters. Standing in his way is Alonzo Harris who has shown a well versed MMA game.

Gordon’s tactic is simple yet effective, he doesn’t waste time in rushing for the clinch where he controls with his strength and batters people with elbows and punches. Undefeated so far but he has shown if he can’t get the clinch he doesn’t do much standing in front of his opponents and being largely ineffective.

Harris is deadly, simple as that. He has shown to have big time power, stopping two of his opponents with some powerful boxing and he has a deadly array of submissions at his disposal. His only loss was to a very polished grappler, something which shouldn’t worry him against Gordon.

I feel Harris will be able to wrap Gordon up on the floor and get a submission at some point. As long as he doesn’t eat too many elbows.

Prediction: Harris via submission

Judo "Submission Machine" Brazil vs. Polite "And" Efficient – 250lbs

Brazil is a grappler, he likes to enter a clinch and rough them up a bit before slamming them to the ground. Once on the ground he has a full arsenal of weapons, his ground and pound is powerful but it is his submissions that should be watched out for as 4 of his 5 wins come from submissions, his favourite being the kimura.

Efficient is much like the other fighters from Ivan Drago’s camp. Clinch rapists. He has learnt how to clinch from one of the best Island managers and in his 4 wins all of them come from him cutting up opponents in the clinch with razor sharp elbows.

Both will want this in the clinch, whether or not Brazil will be able to get it to the ground remains another question. My money is on Efficient.

Prediction: Efficient via TKO

Kaleva Vettenranta vs. Filipe Boaz – 205lbs

The classic boxer vs wrestler matchup. Kaleva makes is money by charging for takedowns with no setups and being heavy on top with ground and pound to open his opponents up for submissions. Fairly effective but when his takedowns are stuffed he has no clue how to to anything else and ends up eating punches.

Boaz will be confident, having KOed Kaleva before and stuffing 12 desperate takedowns. His boxing is crisp and his sprawl game is on point. His only losses have been to other superior strikers, something his opponent on Saturday is not.

I’m taking Boaz getting another KO.

Prediction: Boaz via KO

Sudo "Magodo" Godo vs. Ding "Mr Donger" Dong – 205lbs

More LHW action. Both powerful boxers with a good clinch game, Godo has shown off nasty power in his punches, especially his dirty boxing.

Dong is a similar fighter, but with only 1 fight it is hard to gauge his what type of fighter he is. What he did show was a good chin accompanying some solid dirty boxing.

I feel that Dong will be able to take Godo’s punches, and eventually wear Godo out enough for him to pounce for victory.

Prediction: Dong via TKO

Tyson "Mike Mike" Wonde vs. Kaleva Mansikkamaa – 155lbs

A fight that isn’t a LHW one here. Wonde is a grappler, the extent and prowess of his grappling remains a mystery as his only fight lasted 55 seconds in which he was thoroughly beaten by strikes.

Mini Kaleva is an excellent striker, mainly using his muay thai to land his punches and kicks. He does most of his damage in close quarters however, as he lands a staggering amount of strikes to hurt opponents.

I think Kaleva will be too powerful for Wonde and score another TKO.

Prediction: Kaleva via TKO

UNDERCARD

Royal Pain vs. Pat Ocon – 155lbs

Jakub "Skala" Zlamany vs. Justen "T.E.N." Dawlerz – 205lbs

Abdul Khaliq Khalid vs. Tom "The Raskin" Bobbins – 205lbs

Rick Vacon vs. Linius Lindeberg – 135lbs

Troy Resic vs. Killer "Killer" Kintal – 205lbs

Lindeberg about his next opponent Rick Vacon

"no matter what people think, this guy is courageous. just think about it. He knows he could get the money home just by doing a normal job. He could be a steward and show his legs in airplanes, or other crap like that...but no, he prefers coming to me on the octogone and receive another punishment. well, that is choice, and i respect it."

I have knocked out 2 losers on The Island for chump change. Now to step into Highland Island and do it for some real cash!

The way I'm going, i might get a side job at Sully's as a bouncer part time to earn some extra cash.

(PS: Shop at Sully's!)

Ding "Mr Donger" Dong (286347)

2-0-0 (W-L-D)

Great performance by my boy Sudo but I dont really plan on losing in this Island run. I hope you will keep fighting mate, maybe someday we'll fight again.

But for now, Im calling the org to give me a fight against Skip Gordon or Mercy Myers. However, I watched how Gordon got dethroned and I can still see the fear in his soul and eyes so I think he'll need some rest to fight again. I will gladly fight Mercy Myers to shoot myself up as a contender. Im hungry. Im ready. And I plan on becoming a champion just after my 4rth fight so lets make this happen!

Linius Lindeberg answers to journalist about his next opponent :

"- these fucking Highland Island runners, they put me against Costa. Paulo Costa. Don't know anything about him, about where he is fucking come from, you know...But it doesn't make any difference. I heard his mother was missing him since he left. I want her to know that it 's not gonna be long anymore...After having met me in the octogone, he is gonna be back for good. Crying like a little fucking boy, if you see what i mean...the island is for men with balls...and since there is no surgeon around here, the best thing for him is to go back to where he is from..."

Highland Island 21

Hard Knocks (3,000)
19th March

Are you guys ready? This event marks the return of Island #1 HW and undefeated KO star, Volijn Ulfzaar. He returns from a months break to defend his belt against Thundercunt, well one of them anyway. The card is also full of other HW fights, so one must think the next contender to the HW crown will be determined on the 19th.

Voljin "Medicine Man" Ulfzaar vs. Theodericus Thundercunt – 265lbs TITLE FIGHT

Ulfzaar looks to go the whole season undefeated, but he must go through the powerful Theo Thundercunt.

Fighting 9 times in a little under 2 months, all of those wins coming via first round destruction, it’s no surprise Ulfzaar is the most popular fighter on the Island. His fighting style is very aggressive, as he looks to bum rush his opponents into a clinch where he uses his dirty boxing technique and his wrestling to control. In the clinch he generates a lot of power in a short distance as none of his opponents have found a solution for his clinch attack.

One of the many Thundercunts of this Island, he has good boxing background and he packs a decent punch to add to his danger. Other than that he has shown an aggressive dirty boxing game like his opponents, but he is much less accurate within the clinch than Ulfzaar. His one loss to date was an opponent who was more powerful than him when they tied up and was able to control and land the harder short strikes to finish Thundercunt.

I don’t forsee Ulfzaar losing this one, Thundercunt has been beaten before by the methods Ulfzaar employs the best.

Prediction: Ulfzaar via TKO

Val Halla vs. Ilmari Kuusi – 265lbs

Val Halla comes in with a 3-1 record with his only loss being to kingpin Ulfzaar. He has a very powerful boxing attack and has also shown the ability to fight in close with some dirty boxing technique. In his loss he found himself out muscled in the clinch, this may be something Kuusi looks to exploit.

Kuusi has yet to get going in his career going W-L-W-L-W. Is this the fight he finally gets a win streak? He is very one dimensional as he charges for takedowns over and over again until he gets one. On the floor he has proven to have a solid BJJ attack as well as natural ground and pounding abilities. However on the feet he has bad striking defence, as opponents connect with 90% of their punches on Kuusi.

I see Val Halla avoiding the takedowns before swarming in with a barrage of punches for the finish.

Prediction: Halla via TKO

Nikita "Uppercut" Astakhov vs. Keola Fatu – 265lbs

After dominating the local scenes Astakhov lost his Highland debut to title contender Thundercunt. However if he can put his boxing to work like he did on the local circuits he can build a run to the title. A powerful boxer by trade, he headhunts like there is no tomorrow and his opponents struggle to avoid his crisp punches.

Fatu is a fantastic wrestler who is slowly developing other aspects of his MMA game. But his bread and butter is shooting in for takedowns and ground and pounding. He has yet to have one of his takedowns stuffed, as he has nice sets ups for them. Whilst he doesn’t connect a great deal with his punches or kicks they serve so he can follow up with a takedown.

I think Astakhov has the perfect style to foil Fatu’s wrestling. He will keep it at a distance where he will pick Fatu apart.

Prediction: Astakhov via TKO

Slade Phoenix vs. Arman "The Horse Archer" Aigul – 265lbs

Pheonix was inspired by the Brazilian fighters of legend, as his Muay Thai skills and his BJJ game is on point. He strikes with all 4 limbs, and scores damage with them. He has no wrestling skills to speak of but his dangerous submission game keeps his opponents in constant danger.

Aigul is a similar fighter, in that he specialises in his offensive guard and dangerous stand up. However he is much more boxing orientated although he has shown some good kicking abilities, they are mainly to keep opponents guessing.

Aigul’s main concern is his ability to take a punch, with 2 losses coming via KO. I feel Pheonix will be gunning for his chin and will find it at some point during the fight.

Prediction: Pheonix via KO

"The Maori Warrior" Tangaroa Ngata vs. Gunnar The Eastern Assassin – 185lbs

Ngata excels inside the clinch. He has great wrestling abilities and his muay thai offensive arsenal allows him to land with punches from all kinds of crazy angles with great accuracy and power.

Assassin is the traditional sprawl and brawler, with powerful boxing and solid defensive wrestling. He likes to throw punches in bunches and that worked in his one and only fight but he may find himself in dangerous positons if he tries the same thing vs a higher experienced fighter.

I’m taking Ngata in this fight, he should be able to tie Assassin up and land with his punches.

Prediction: Ngata via TKO

UNDERCARD

Josephz "Wrecking Machine" Jotko vs. MeDa SeuRabo – 265+lbs

Will "Fury" Road vs. Will "Fury" Road – 265+lbs

Joseph "The Butcher" Venables vs. Chrome Mazone – 185lbs

Mike "Heavy Bomb" Posner vs. Dale "El Cucue" Tsosobe – 185lbs

dd dd vs. Borys Mie – 265lbs

Be proud Nikita! Your head will be ripped off by the best fighter in the island. No shame in losing in the greatest fighter that ever walked in this sands. You should take your 2nd lose as a big compliment in your career because one day, you can tell your grand kids that the one who destroyed their pop pop's career is the great Voljin Ulfzaar.
