I think he means the Wynn hotel. The Wynn and Encore are two of the newer hotels on the Strip. The Wynn being about 10 years old and Encore at about 5 or 6.

Nah its called the Wyndham Grand Desert Resort but its not a well known place and slightly off the strip: https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/5013786?checkin=07-07-2016&checkout=10-07-2016&guests=4&s=xEM0_jpj

It just appealed to me because it has 2 bdrms and living room as opposed to 4 of us sharing 1 room with two double beds.

PS Hopefully that link isnt still signed into my AirBNB account lol tell me if it is!

I'm a big fan of Vegas and can make frequent trips since I currently live about 5 hours away. Me and the gf will be heading up in April to catch the Guns N Roses reunion show, then just hanging around for 3 nights. We got a good rate to stay at The Venetian (I've always wanted to stay there and do the gondola ride through the hotel) so I'm pretty excited. We are going to catch your normal Vegas shows like The Rat pack and Blue man group. I like to gamble and she doesn't so that will be interesting. We are not big into the clubs at all, so probably just get shitfaced in the casino bars each night.

Joe, have you had the breakfast buffet at the Excalibur? It is definitely up there with the best on the strip.

I liked the breakfast at Luxor better. They were the same price I think. We did the private gondola ride last time, it was nice and we had a very good singer running it so that was fun. Plus not much more for the private boat.

The Luxor was my suggestion to you ;) Top price-quality for the buffets in my opinion.

When I was in Vegas our shuttles drop off and pick up spot was at the Mirage so it became our home base and meeting spot. We ended up spending a lot of time drinking there. It's a pretty good place to hang out but I was starting to get sick of it because we always seemed to get "trapped" there. There were 8 people in our crew so it was hard to get everyone on the same page and moving on to different places. Good times were had though!

So we've just booked our hotel in vegas and we got a bit carried away haha. It went from Excalibur to Luxor and then we thought fuck it lets dish out a wee bit more stay in the Vdara Corner suite with a nice view of the fountains lol.

Anyone stayed in Vdara Hotel before (beside Aria)?

I never been to New York, but hope to someday!

Another place I have been that is a lot of fun is New Orleans. It is worth seeing if you never have. Our family vacation 2 years ago we did a road trip through the whole state. New Orleans and Grande Isle were our main stops. Grande Isle was a lot of fun too, we had a cabin on stilts right on the gulf. It was really cheap too, I think it was 75 a night for a 2 bed room cabin right on the beach.
