Now I'm really confused, how did this fight still happen if my fighter was deported??

It has come to my attention that, due to the events not taking place on the correct day a lot recently, Mike has temporarily disabled fighter location. I'm not sure how long this has been in effect for, but I've been flying around like an asshole, still.

I seem to remember that being announced but thought it was fixed, guess not. Guess I'll cancel the rest of my flights until further notice.

I won't mention the fact I just bought a jet a few days ago....That's between you and I, HoarseWhisperer

Carnage Ten (16 September 2016 – The Underground, Las Vegas) Preview and Predictions – Written by Gabe T.S. Gardner (112290)
Sponsored by Alpha-Male Nutritional Supplements.

Three titles will be defended tonight it in what could undoubtedly be called a “super card” as Carnage Fighting Championship looks to make a name for itself as an organisation with the best fighters in Las Vegas here at Carnage 10.

Fight 1
Danny “Tool” Carey 3-0-0 vs Jack “Cowboy” Miller 4-0-0: 5 Rounds of 5 Minutes for the CFC Light Heavyweight Championship

Cowboy Miller is set to make his first title defence against undefeated challenger Danny Carey in a fight where somebodies “0” has got to go! Carey has a lot to be wary of in the champion, a KO specialist who has finished every fight so far with a nasty knockout.

Miller will have a field day if he manages to keep this fight standing up, as the challenger has very little in the way striking prowess, but on the floor? Oh man would Miller be in a world of pain.

A phenomenal wrestler and brown belt in BJJ, Carey could end this quick if he takes the fight to the mat, but I think he won’t get the chance to do so, and will get blasted out in a round or two.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Jack Miller Round 2 (TKO/KO)

Fight 2
Chris “CJ” Johnson 4-1-0 vs Test Dummy 4-0-0: 5 Rounds of 5 Minutes for the CFC Middleweight Championship

My favourite division in all of MMA is the Middleweights, big enough to look like they could kick anyone’s ass, but not so bulky that the suspicion of steroid abuse follows them around like a bad smell. And when I found out that I would be previewing a Middleweight title fight – I jumped at the chance. Both middleweights are very talented fighters, and you can expect a great fight here. CJ has shown to be very capable on the ground, with no fight he has participated in making it into round 3 – as he has a great 4 submission finish record and is on 4 on a row.

Test Dummy, a man seemingly named after a testing device for punishment – is aptly named tonight, as although in stand-up ability I think he is far superior, on the floor he is very vulnerable to someone like Johnson which I think might be his downfall. That said, if he opens him up in the first round, Test Dummy really could pull out an upset and get a quick KO – it might be the upset prediction, but I think he can pull it off and be crowned the new champ.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Test Dummy, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 3
Salman “Rockstar” Da Silva 4-0-0 v Thunder Chunk 3-0-0: 5 Rounds of 5 Minutes for the CFC Welterweight Championship

Our third and final title fight tonight as Da Silva defends against Thunder Chunk at Welterweight. So far all of these fights have been predominantly based on Strikers vs Grapplers – which brings up nostalgia of the early days of the sport. That said, while I don’t always favour strike based fighters, I do think that the three competing in title fights tonight do all have an edge over their opponents.

This is a short prediction because really I think the fight will be rather formulaic. Chunk will attempt a takedown, if he fails he gets hit, if he succeeds he won’t be able to really finish Da Silva off. Rinse repeat till he gets KO’d. He could provide an upset, which is always nice to see – but I have to predict who I think will win, not who I want to win.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Salman Da Silva, Round 2 (TKO/KO)

Fight 4
Oliver Closov 4-3-0 v Frank “Big Hurt” Thomas 5-2-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 205lbs

While Closov is superior in natural ability, his record would suggest that. Having only just a winning record, Closov really needs to defeat Big Hurt in order to cement himself as a contender in this divison.

While Thomas is a more rounded fighter than his opponent, slightly favouring kickboxing – I think this could be to his detriment as Closov is by far the superior of the two in that regard.

I don’t think this will go long, but I do predict it will be painful.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Oliver Closov, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 5
Raoh “Fist Of Justice” King Of Fists 3-0-0 v Bruno Thunder 2-1-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 155lbs

This is a pretty easy fight for me to predict again. Does anyone here believe that Thunder has a chance? No! Please, keep your hands up while I count……Okay, so rounding up, it’s a big fat ZERO. I don’t like putting down fighters but I just feel that this fight is a bit of a mismatched. Raoh should have no trouble breaking through Thunder’s defences.

KO in round 1.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Raoh King Of Fists, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 6
James “Maynard” Keenan 1-0-0 v Arthur “The King” Lawrence 2-0-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 170lbs

Two hard hitting kickboxing savants set for a fight at Welterweight. While their ability might seem matched on paper, the key here is seeking out that “Killer-Instict” and based on what we have seen, Arthur Lawrence just seems to be the better fighter in my opinion.

I say this as he KO’d better opponents than Keenan dragged to a decision, and therefore that is the most telling thing about this fight.
KO in round 1.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Arthur Lawrence, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 7
Scotty “Money” Catos 1-1-0 v Glenn “The Big Show” Maxwell 1-1-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 145lbs

I think that Catos needs to be able to really take this opportunity with both hands or he could find himself falling by the wayside. I think that Maxwell should be considered the favourite unless this gets taken to the mat – but I think that Maxwell is by far the superior standing up and will manage to impose himself here.

KO early on.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W
) Glenn Maxwell, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 8
Ronta “The Boom Boom Man” Bela 0-1-0 v Kenny “La Flama Blanca” Powers 0-0-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 185lbs

I think that “La Flama Blanca” could really set the cage on fire in his debut…..get it?.....no?....*Sigh*.

He has the edge in most areas in my opinion and the only thing that could hinder his progress as the winner here is if he gets caught on the ground, his lack of experience could cost him and he could be submitted.

I however think that his wrestling is too good for Bela to overcome and therefore predict that Powers gets the KO in round 1.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Kenny Powers, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 9
Rudy “5th Element” Rhod 3-1-0 v Brandon “Vicky” Vicky 0-3-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 155lbs

probably the easiest fight to predict here, as Vicky has shown nothing to me that indicates he should remotely threaten his opponent once this fight gets underway, he is either undertrained or just plain not cut out for this sport.

Rhod is a Muay Thai badass and will make his presence felt early on, chewing on Vicky in the clink and spitting him out in a KO victory.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Rudy Rhod, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 10
Charlie “Winderballs” Winder 0-3-0 v David Dunc 0-3-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 265lbs

Our final fight is between two heavyweights who just CANNOT get a win. In fact, if it were possible, I would predict that they would both lose this one. Seeing as though that isn’t in the rules, I’d have to say the BJJ skills and amateur wrestling experience make Dunc the more favoured of the two to win.

I predict he takes the fight to the mat and sends his opponent out in a flurry of blows, getting a TKO victory some time in round two, or possibly a submission failing that (the trouble with predicting a win for fighters who have not one is getting their preferred type of finish down, oh well.)

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) David Dunc, Round 2 (TKO/KO - SUB)

Three title fights make this show a really DO NOT MISS as the landscape of the Light Heavyweight, Middleweight and Welterweight divisions could be heavily altered after tonight. Stay tuned fight Fans!

Great preview, Gabe...Looking for a full time job?

I have one with DFC - Las Vegas and do bit parts for GAMMA, I can only really afford to do a few other things for companies like CFC once or twice a week.

I do create logos and Avatar pics upon request however, as it takes a lot less time to research and create (weird I know but I am far more speedy with editing software than with write us)

Carnage Eleven (23 September 2016 – The Underground, Las Vegas) Preview and Predictions – Written by Gabe T.S. Gardner (112290)
Sponsored by Alpha-Male Nutritional Supplements.

A lightweight title fight Co main event and an overall stacked card from top to bottom awaits fight fans at Carnage 11, live from The Underground in Las Vegas. With many exciting fights to preview, and predictions to make – Let’s get to it!

Fight 1
Bill Collecter 2-1-0 vs Axel “Warrior” Zinith 3-1-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 145lbs

Our main event is set to feature two featherweight grapplers facing off. Not sure personally why they are main eventing over our title fight, but then again I’ve never worked in marketing for companies, I just love predicting who is gonna win! The obvious standup advantage for this fight goes to Collecter – who has developed better boxing skills than his opponent. What he lacks in standup ability however, Zinith makes up for in BJJ skills, having only been ranked blue belt, that is still far superior to his opponent who fights unranked in BJJ, in a fight that you best believe will be mostly fought on the ground.

For that slight edge on the ground, I have to say that Zinith feels like the fighter most likely to win here, but it could easily go either way.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Axel Zinith Round 2 (SUB)

Fight 2
Golden King 1-0-0 vs Mikey Smith Jr 4-0-0: 5 Rounds of 5 Minutes for the CFC Lightweight Championship

Golden King sure must have impressed in his debut fight, as he gets a title opportunity in fight number 2! I almost don’t envy him however, as he faces an opponent very much at the top of his form.

Smith Jr a KO artist with only one of his fights going over a minute (still managed to KO John Pateman in under 2 minutes however) and possesses powerful hands and quick reflexes, that King is going to have a hell of a task of overcoming.

For my money, this fight doesn’t last a round, and whoever finishes it finishes it quick. Both possess great ability, but the experience and psychological edge work in Smith Jr’s favour here. Everyone will be looking to King to show them why he got to jump to the front of the line when they were handing out title shots. Smith Jr to win by KO in round number 1.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Mikey Smith Jr, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 3
Nobody “Really” Cares 6-0-0 v Philadelphia “Greasy” Collins 4-1-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 265lbs

I’d hate to meet Mr and Mrs Cares, the cruel parents that named their son Nobody – and Hope based on that fact alone he can score a win here. He has amassed an enviable 6-0 record, but faces a really tough test in Collins – who will look to KO Cares in the opening seconds of the fight, lest he get dragged to the floor and have have to fight a losing battle on the ground.

In this fight I would say both fighters are facing their toughest test yet – fighting someone in a discipline they have little experience in. This will be a fight of who can win the inches, and I think Collins competition has been a little bit tougher, and I expect him to have his hand raised, if only by the virtue that I don’t rate Cares’ standup defense at all.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Philadelphia Collins, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 4
Enoch “Heart” Harney 1-0-0 v Kyle Loon 3-0-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 205lbs

Usually I would be extremely excited for a middleweight fight (readers of my previous predictions will note how much of a fan I am) but I can only say that this appears to be a bit of a one sided fight. Harney is being very much tossed to the wolves here in his carnage debut against a more experienced and flat out more skilled opponent.

I don’t like to disregard any fighters chances, but I expect this to be over in short order, and inside of the round.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Kyle Loon, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 5
Colby Jones 0-2-0 v Leon “Angry Lion” Angier 2-1-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 145lbs

Jones has little time to turn his carnage – and pro fighting career around. Another loss would see him sitting pretty on an unenviable 0-3 record. Angier is definitely not a launching pad opponent either and the smart money is for Angier to rebound off of his loss to tonight’s main eventer Axel Zinith with a KO win.

Sorry Jones, but if you want to compete with the best, you also have to be one of the best – and the best you just ain’t.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Leon Angier, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 6
Eddy Rotten 6-1-0 v Conor “The Notorious” McGregor 0-1-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 185lbs

Former middleweight champ Eddy Rotten looks to rebuild his position in the rankings and get back his belt as soon as he possibly can, but first he has to get past a game McGregor. I don’t know what it is with that name, but so many Irish fighters have all of a sudden cropped up with it…I wonder if it’s a reference to something?

Anyway, Rotten’s record speaks for itself, and he beat the one man who beat McGregor to claim the title back at Carnage Six. There isn’t a lot to go on McGregor right now – ‘cept the fact he lost via submission to a fighter who primarily uses his standup ability…..huh.

Round 1 KO in the clinch for me.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Eddy Rotten, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 7
Dre “Deathrow” Battle 5-0-0 v Ernest Shackleton 1-2-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 205lbs

This is the fight I am most looking forward to here tonight as two young teenage light heavyweight grapplers get set to go to war with one another.

As both fighters are relatively even, we have to look at their killer instinct that they have shown to really separate their physical abilities, and based on that Dre Battle has shown me far to suggest that he is to be the favourite to win.

I expect them to put on a show, but for Battle to get the KO or TKO win late on in the first round or early in round two.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W
) Dre Battle, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 8
Dugguu “Mightymouse” Hazarra 1-2-0 v Kimbo Slice 1-1-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 155lbs

Another lightweight fight here and another easy prediction in my mind. Hazarra (a man who looks like he was named after a cheat in scrabble) is pretty much outmatched in every way by Slice, other than having slightly more BJJ experience. I think that Slice’s wrestling experience will be the difference maker here and we will see Slice send Hazarra out in a “Flurry of blows” on the ground (I’m trying to make that my catchphrase…but it doesn’t seem to be catching on).

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Kimbo Slice, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 9
Black Bad Boy 0-1-0 v Igor Burt 0-1-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 185lbs

I’ll keep this one short (as short as I hope the fight will be) and predict that Triple B will get the KO win here. There is very little on either fighter to go on here, but from I am hearing from Boy’s training camp, they are very confident his standup ability should by far exceed that of Burts. I have nothing to on Burt other than his unispiring defeat to Matthew dean. Our of all the fights tonight I think this one might go to decision, as I think after both suffering a debt loss, they will be more cautious.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Black Bad Boy, Round 3 (SD/UD)

Fight 10
Chris Ricks 0-1-0 v Will “Submission” Sten 0-0-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 145lbs

Opening fight here and our first pro fight debutant in Will Sten, a BJJ brown belt with good promise if rumours are to be believed.

He faces a daunting task in MT Kickboxing practitioner Ricks, who I think will come out swinging hard and panic the debuting Sten, forcing him into an uncomfortable position and getting a vicious KO after capitalising on such a mistake.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Chris Ricks, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

THERE YOU HAVE IT! A truly great card underway for Carnage 11, as we see the lightweight title be contested and see many interesting and intriguing matchups across the divisions. If you are a fight fan you will not want to miss this, till next time I have been Gabe T.S. Gardner bringing you the predictions for a very promising Carnage 11!

Carnage Twelve (30 September 2016 – The Underground, Las Vegas) Preview and Predictions – Written by Gabe T.S. Gardner (112290)
Sponsored by Alpha-Male Nutritional Supplements.

You join me for a card headlined with 2! YES TWO title fights. We have some really good contests scheduled so let’s get straight to it as I run down the evenings card…

Fight 1
Chris “CJ” Johnson 5-1-0 vs Willy “Bo” Boggs 6-2-0: 5 Rounds of 5 Minutes for the CFC Middleweight Championship

Our main event is a bit of a weird one. Some major fighting organisations (that will not be named *cough* UFC *cough*) may book title fights with a challenger coming off of a loss, but usually on Tycoon this happens rarely.

It’s the typical contrast between striker vs grappler here, and both fighters will have needed to do their homework otherwise they could be in for a rude awakening. Johnson has faced and beaten tough strikers before, while he struggled against a fighter who was a great wrestler and dominated the ground in his debut.

Boggs has shown ability to finish opponents standing, and on the ground. This shows champion levels of diversity, but might weaken his game plan against someone who effectively takes away one of those options.

I have doubted Johnson before in his fight with Dummy, and that turned out bad for me. I’ll give him extra props if he can win here though, as I think that Boggs might just have him.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Willy Boggs Round 2 (TKO/KO)

Fight 2
Jack “Cowboy” Miller 4-1-0 vs James “Atonement” McAvoy 4-0-0: 5 Rounds of 5 Minutes for the CFC Heavyweight Championship

Uhhhh... How is Miller going to make weight for this? No wait, another fighter coming off of a loss gets a title shot? NO WAIT, COMING OFF A TITLE FIGHT DEFEAT? Okay, it’s very clear now that both our main and co main events of the evening are a little…erm.. strangely put together but damn are they intriguing.

That said, I think that McAvoy, a fighter who has quite simply walked through all his opposition has to be considered the favourite. An upset could be on the cards but with McAvoy’s stopping power I just cannot see him losing tonight.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) James McAvoy, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 3
Thunder Chunk 3-1-0 v Sage “Fists Of The Heavens” Northstar 4-1-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 170lbs

This is a fight that I think might be under a few peoples radar but is a surefire sleeper hit for fight of the night. Chunk will have to restart his momentum after a title fight loss in devastating fashion against Da Silva, and Northstar seems to finally be generating some kind of momentum.

This fight will be close, but I think that Chunk will get the takedowns he needs and finish Northstar on the ground, after a skirmish in the clinch goes awry for his and he finds himself on the canvas – and subsequently tapping out.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Thunder Chunk, Round 1 (SUB)

Fight 4
Bruno Thunder 2-2-0 v Rhys Coulthard 4-1-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 155lbs

Quick prediction as this fight is a total mismatch. Coulthard wins. Every day and every night. End of. No questions asked. I give thunder props for staying in the sport but he isn’t cut out to deal with threats the like of Coulthard.

Round 1 KO

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Rhys Coulthard, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 5
Scotty “Money” Catos 1-2-0 v Cody “Parsnip” Paris 5-0-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 170lbs

Scotty Catos? THIS WAS YOUR LIFE! Ok, maybe I’ll stop it with the jokes and references to obscure TV shows, but man, Catos has really pissed someone off in a former life, because he straight up has no chance.

He may have a higher rank in BJJ than Paris, but his fight IQ and finishing ability are completely in question, unlike his opponents.

Round 1 submission for me.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Cody Paris, Round 1 (SUB)

Fight 6
Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson 0-1-0 v TheDragon Reborn 2-2-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 185lbs

It’s not surprising that Thompson lost in his debut, he was facing a beast of a fighter, with a blackbelt and better abilities in every possible way. That said, he is my favourite to win this one, as while Reborn might be very accomplished in a lot of areas, I don’t think that he is so great in any one discipline to make him a threat here.

Thompson KO round 1.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Stephen Thompson, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Fight 7
Eito “Fuji” Itsaki 1-1-0 v Franki “Calpon” Bats 0-1-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 265lbs

This is another fight that could really creep under your radar, but steal the show. Both fighters are strike based fighters, with Itasaki being a Muay Thai style kickboxer, and Franki “Calpon” Bats being a boxer, both with records that suggest they have nothing to lose and everything to prove.

I think that Itasaki will take the fight to the clinch and be able to work over Bats’ body bad until he delivers a crushing knee in round 2. Should be a good fight so keep your eyes peeled.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W
) Eito Itasaki, Round 2 (TKO/KO)

Fight 8
Keisuko Miyagi 1-1-0 v Alexander “Dollar Man” Slovakia 6-9-0: 3 Rounds of 5 Minutes 170lbs

On paper I thought this fight looked even, until I saw the fact that Slovakia had accumulated 9 LOSSES. WOW. IN ONLY 15 FIGHTS. Well, I can’t equate Miyagi to prime Anderson Silva, but I think he will be able to pull off just as many dance moves and still come away with the win.

Gabe T.S. Gardner’s Prediction: (W) Keisuko Miyagi, Round 1 (TKO/KO)

Carnage 12 continues the tradition of multiple title fights in a night that makes CFC really stand out against competition. This is definitely a card to watch, so stay tuned.

Common guys preview the next event because I have my two guys in it

The preview is up, it is a bit late due to complications on my end - but if Mr Mizzou continues to ask me to write for CFC, they will appear more promptly.

Apologies to all who wanted to read the preview a few days before the event! I promise if I am comissioned to do it 13 will be up far earlier! :)
