First up, we snatched a top light heavyweight prospect Gobal Batra. After completing his contract elswhere the Indian wrestler said this about his signing with carnage - "I'm ready to dominate the whole lightweight division and make the most money possible.". We're currently working on a fight for him against another rising star Michael Garibaldi. Let's hope we can sort out the issues as quickly as possible and make it official! Next up, we had a sweet event this week Carnage 26 which featured a comeback of a hall of famer Chris Johnson. KO Of the night: Tyrus Murphy via Slam What a crazy fight! Tyrus took his opponent down with ease, scored some ground and pound, rocked him, then stood up only to slam him down so hard that he knocked him out. His opponent was so out that he was talking some weird stuff after the fight. Submission of the night: Chris Johnson via Americana Our hall of famer returned to fight a very talented and undefeated fighter Kor Jameson. The striking was pretty much equal, but then Johnson manager to counter a missed right hand with a beautiful takedown and proceeded to work his magic on the ground. After advancing positions, trying submissions he finally tired Jameson our and managed to secure an Americana in the finals seconds of the very first round and win submission of the night bonus! Fight of the night: Begley vs Northcutt After losing his title fight against the current champ Cody Paris a young Northcutt went out against a veteran in our organisation and won a very hard fought decision. He absolutely dominated the first round but lacked the energy to do anything good in the second. Then the third round came and his corner said "This is it, you need this!". He went out and gave his aboslute best to secure that second round and win a close fight 29 to 28. That's it for tonight! Making his debut here tonight is billy deems. Billy has had only one prior fight which took place in the Quick Fighting Championship where using his strong muay thai abilities he earned an impressive first round TKO. Black bad boy on the other hand is a more experienced fighter, being a Carnage veteran, all five of his bouts have taken place under the Carnage banner. Unfortunately losing his last two fights, tonight the Aussie will be looking to redeem himself and get back into the win column.Both men look to be skilled strikers. With deems having the muay thai advantage and Bad boy with the boxing. Deems will be looking to be the aggressor early on, using his punches and kicks to keep his opponent guessing, while also using his strong wrestling to stay on the feet if need be . Bad boy has the boxing skills to stay on the outside and try to counter with punches, although by looking at his previous fights it appears he likes to clinch up and pull guard, then will look to control his opponents from his back. Seeing as he hasn’t been very successful with that strategy he may try to change things up here tonight. With similar skillets, the fighter with the better game plan will immerge victorious and move up the light heavyweight ranks.Main card 1st fight main cardWelterweight DivisionMario Jones (2-0-0) vs Leon Phelps (3-1-0)Kicking off the main card we have two dangerous strikers going head to head in Mario “Maori Boz” jones, and Leon “the ladiesman” Phelps. First, we have Mario jones, a skilled muay thai specialist and a good boxer. Using these skills he has won his first two fights by brutal a KO and TKO in the quick fighting championship. Opposing him we have Leon Phelps, coming off a KO win at carnage 25 he will hope to mirror that by doing the same in this fight.The fight will most likely take place mostly on the feet, Phelps will be trying to clinch up and land some strikes on the inside, while Jones will be standing out of clinch range trying to outstrike him there. It is a possibility we may see Jones embrace the clinch himself and try to beat Phelps at his own game, seeing as he does have the superior muay thai.2nd fight main cardFeatherweight DivisionHeath Gragner (2-4-0) vs Kylar Sensei (6-4-0)At just 20 years old, Kylar “the war Preist” Sensei has already fought 10 times in his young career. Winning 6 of those fights, at carnage 28, he will be looking to win another. Determined to stop that from happening, is Heath “the master potato” Granger. A strong wrestler, Heath likes to take it to the mat and pounds his opponent out for the victory. At similar ages, these two fighters have a big experience gap. Kylar Sensei has been doing it longer, and has the overall better skillset. But that doesn’t necessarily guarantee him the will in this fight. Gragner has the slight muay thai advantage, in the past we have seen him successfully use the thai clinch to wear down, and finish his opponents. We could very well see him do that again. Now Kykar has two options for picking up this win. The first is obvious, its what he is most good at and what he has done 5 times in the past: get the takedown and force the tap. The other option is to stand and box. He has superb boxing and he may want to show us tonight exactly how good he really is.3rd fight main cardHeavyweight divisionCorey Dalton (4-2-0) vs WE Bix (6-0-0)A former Kalashinkov Combat MMA Heavyweight champion, Corey “the married man” Dalton will be facing off against the undefeated Beijing native, WE Bix.After losing the KCM heavyweight title, Corey Dalton decided he needed a fresh start, so he signed with carnage. He made his debut at carnage 25 winning by knockout. His next opponent WE Bix will be a tough challenge. Winning all 6 of his fights by either KO or TKO, he is definitely a prospect worth keeping an eye on.Both fighters have similar strengths, both can box, and both can have great muay thai. We have seen WE Bix be aggressive with the clinch in many of his fights. Thats what he needs to do here if he wants to walk out with the win. Dalton has been awarded 2 knockout of the night awards from his vicious head kick knockouts. He will most likely be looking for another one by staying out of Bix’s clinch and countering with a mixture of punches and kicks. Co-main eventFeatherweight divisionPate huntter (3-1-0) vs Alexei BerdnikovIn the co main event of the night, we have a featherweight fight between Pate Huntter and Alexei Berdnikov. In Pate Huntter, we have a fighter who knows how to get the job done anywhere the fight goes, on the feet, in the clinch, or on the ground. He is able to find a way to win by outworking his opponents and scoring the decision. Alexei on the other hand is a downright finisher, winning most of his fights by submission he will have the advantage of the ground game in this fight, if it goes there. Pate has the wrestling to keep this fight standing, which he may look to do. If the fight stays on the feet, Pate has advantage, if it goes to the ground, we may see a quick submission to end the fight.Main eventWelterweight divisionAleksandr Volkov (2-0-0) vs Jamaal Clements (4-1-0)Now on the much anticipated main event. Our two fighters here are Aleksandr Volkov and Jamaal clements. This matchup is very important to the Welterweight division as who ever wins this fight will possibly break into the top 5 in the rankings. The fight itself is very interesting as well. We have two scary guys who dominate their fights by putting their opponents on their backs, and beating them up until the referee saves them from unnecessary damage . But since both guys are so good one that one area, the fight may shift to the feet where Aleksandr will have the advantage. If he can keep it standing he may be able to catch Clements with a damaging blow that would surely put him to sleep. But can Jamaal drag the fight to the ground and pound him out? (UNDERCARD BOUTS) 1.Anthony "Beast" Medrano vs DJ "Dumb Jack" Smith (BANTAMWEIGHT BOUT) First of the undercard bouts features a bantamweight contest between two newcomers who will be making their debuts in this organization in anthony medrano vs DJ smith.Both of them have fought once before in their career in QFC but DJ Smith lost his fight where as Medrano won his.As far as the matchup goes i can't see medrano losing this fight unless smith gets him to the ground where he has superior BJJ. But i think Medrano will win this via knockout. Prediction: Medrano wins via knockout (round 2) 2.Paul "Chewbarker" Barker vs Gary "Scrub" Johnson (BANTAMWEIGHT BOUT) This a classic boxer vs boxer matchup. Paul barker will make his carnage debut whereas Gary Johnson is coming of a unanimous descision victory over Rock Conrad on carnage 29 where he also won the fight of the night bonus. Paul is also the #1 ranked bantamweight in carnage where as Gary is ranked #8 so both of them come to this fight knowing that the a title fight may be glooming for the winner.And as far as the fight goes if Paul will look to get Gary on the ground as he has superior BJJ, but if this fight stays on the feet anyone can win the fight. Prediction: Djimon Babayega wins by TKO. (ROUND 3) (MAIN EVENT) 10. David Cerrone vs Mario Scevola (HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE BOUT) The main event of the evening sees the most anticipated rematch in carnage heavyweight division history and the second title clash between David cerrone and mario scevola. This rivarly goes back to carnage 25 when scevola was the champion and cerrone the challenger it was an epic fight and won the fight of the night in which cerrone emerged as the winner and the new champion via (unanimous descision) but scevola did not like the descision and wats to take his revenge from cerrone so here we are at carnage 32 two moths after their first meeting having a rematch to know once and for all who is the real champion.As far as the fight goes i think ceroone will want to get this fight on the ground as he is far better than scevola on the ground other than that they are equal in all other respects.
