I think that's the only proper term for it. He now feels that he's redeemed himself from an early loss to Ivan Zinoviev, who is now 3-0 (all in the first round), and was being managed by one of the top guys in the game, who has a 41-13-2 historic record (Ivan's now a free agent - someone grab him). Now he's seeking some better opponents to beat on, and a sponsorship to make sure he stays in top form. Do you want to be that sponsor? All have room for at least one sponsor. None of them NEED money right now, but it never hurts to have for a rainy day. Top fighter had 155 lb championship in ICP before the fight org went under - now prepping for his debut in Syn City. They all wear their sponsor's clothes exclusively. As you'll see, I list them as sponsored by (currently) Hells Balls. You'll have placement to your company as sponsoring them which in turn is kind of like sponsoring the gym. You hit all four of the guys and you get a mention in the sig as well that you sponsor the gym. Its all about getting your name out there if you weren't before. All I ask for is a freebie or two and some cross talk for the life of the sponsorship (say you're sponsoring Worldclass training for Fighters on you company page or in your signature). If you feel like offering some cash, god bless you sir or madam but that's not what I'm looking for.
